The food wasn't special, not recommended.

Perhaps they were having an off day, but we felt completely unwelcome today. In any case, many tables were reserved for guests who didn't show up while we were there. Additionally, our menus and drinks cards were taken away immediately after we had ordered. Ordering a little more was clearly not the intention. Then the food. Sorry, but if you serve cheap supermarket casino bread as a restaurant, surely you don't take yourself seriously at all? And my chicken livers were overcooked, making them incredibly dry. Fortunately, they were served in a "Madeira sauce" (tasted more like gravy than Madeira sauce), so they were washable. No, sorry. Not worth repeating. Although the prices are low. But I would rather pay a little more for better food and more hospitality. I have indicated below that reservations are mandatory. Because that is what it looked like.

What a delicious lunch and Service with a capital S. The chicken liver sandwich with onion, the fried egg, and the croquette sandwiches are top quality. Beautiful view of the church.

We went here for lunch today with a few people. The waitress wasn't very friendly. Well, not to us at least, though she was to the people from the village. Furthermore, we weren't asked if we wanted another drink. The lady serving the food was friendly, though. The food itself was okay. The Banquette Hawaii was supposed to have cheese on it, but that wasn't the case. And we asked for brown bread with the croquettes, but we got white bread. There wasn't a chance to mention it either, because she didn't come by to ask if everything was to our liking.

A pleasant surprise. The starter was certainly acceptable. The hamburgers with homemade fries tasted excellent. Clearly, the owners put a lot of love into their restaurant. That is quite different in Enschede. In short, highly recommended.

Fast service and the friendliest staff I have ever seen!

After a walk at Buurse Zand. Delicious food at an affordable price. Good communication. We just had to wait a bit longer. Quite a pleasant square with several places to eat and drink.

Unfriendly! We spontaneously decided to go for drinks with a larger group. There was plenty of space, but it would have been spread across several tables. In the end, we were kicked out with the explanation that you can't just come in with so many people. Apparently, they don't need our money; someone else will get it. We're now at "de Kornuiten." There, it's absolutely no problem.

Wij waren nog nooit in Haaksbergen een broodje eten en dit zag er leuk uit. Toen wij zaten werden we vrij snel geholpen en hebben saté met frietjes en wat te drinken besteld. Toen het eten kwam zag het er lekker en goed uit. Smakelijk begonnen we aan onze friet en die was heerlijk maar na een paar happen zag mijn man dat een stukje van zijn kippendij saté echt aan één kant nog rauw was. Ik had die van mij al bijna op en dat wat er nog was oké gebakken. Toen de serveerster kwam om te vragen of alles naar onze zin was zei mij man dat het heerlijk was maar hij de kip niet verder op wilde eten omdat die nog rauw was. Het antwoord dat wij hier toen op kregen was echt SCHOKKEND “wij bakken kip nooit helemaal door, en dit is kippendij en dat is geen wit vlees maar donkerder van kleur”. Ik antwoordde dat als je kip altijd door moet bakken of tenminste zeker gaar ivm bacteriën. En daarbij komt dat het vlees niet eens rosé was maar rauw en daar zit een groot verschil in. Nogmaals de smaak van het eten was prima alleen door de rauwe kip voor ons niet meer

Goede zaak met vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke lunch gerechten

De uitsmijter was niet heel bijzonder,brood aan de droge kant en het "plukje" groen was zeker niet vers helaas. Sfeer op het plein zat er goed in.

Leuk gezellig en een goede maaltijd voor betaalbaare prijs.

Lekker op terras biertje gedronken was prima en schoon

Menu op internet et kan nier als keuze gebruikt worden. Kwaliteit geserveerde bestelling is redelijk opmaak kan verzorgder.

Heerlijk gegeten waarbij we buiten en binnen (na opsteken koude wind) hebben kunnen zitten.

Freundliche Bedienung, man kann draußen sitzen auf einem autofreien Platz an der Kirche, es sind mehrere Restaurants nebenan, wir hatten sehr leckeres Saté mit Pommes, es gab eine große Auswahl an Speisen, auch viele Snacks

Mooie plek aan de markt. Doorgaans gezellig om even te borrelen. Helaas is kwaliteit bedienend personeel wisselend. Onlangs zaten twee jonge dames rustig spelletje Uno te spelen aan de braven moest iedereen noodgedwongen aan de bar bestellen.

Zeven jaar geleden schreef ik ook een recensie voor dit restaurant want we kwamen er vroeger regelmatig. Nu was ik al lang niet geweest en het bleek een tegenvaller. Dat de prijzen flink waren gestegen, is niet zo verrassend maar de kwaliteit was behoorlijk minder geworden en de verhouding klopte daarom van geen kant. Ik denk niet dat we nog terugkomen

Heerlijk gegeten, fijne sfeer, vlotte vriendelijke bediening. Porties zijn ruim voldoende! Prijs is ook normaal. Al met al heel tevreden! Aanrader!

We hebben heerlijk op het buitenterras gezeten. Genoten van een heerlijke uitsmijter met cappuccino. Vriendelijke bediening. Nette toiletten.

Altijd goed, en zeer vriendelijk bediening

Lekker eetcafe. Leuke bar. Gelegen op een ruim plein direct tegenover de kerk. Ruime bar en men tapt een goed biertje.

De plek is aantrekkelijk, de kaart biedt een redelijk ruime keus. De bediening is nog ongeschoold. De lunch was aardig met wel hele grote hompen brood. De wijn was niet te drinken. Het was zonnig, we hadden nog een eind te fietsen. Er is best iets meer van te maken.
