Leuke kroeg/restaurant. Wij kwamen er om te eten. Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Het eten was prima. Fijn kindermenu op de kaart en ook voldoende vegetarische opties. Als we weer eens in de buurt zijn, komen we vast weer langs.

Had a drink here. Was surprised how cozy and busy it was here. Nice music and a nice beer!

I think I was 15 when I first set foot in this bar. I’m 34 now and I still come here. Live music, kind people, good vibes and legit the best burgers in the city! Love this place. An icon!

Extremely surprised. My girlfriend and I quickly looked for something to eat on New Year's Eve, we were warmly welcomed and served very well. The music was quite loud, but it was good music. If we are ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by again.

The burger was quite good, the chicken breast fillet not so much. Was more of a pub than a restaurant.

Mijn nieuwsgierigheid was gewekt toen ik las over een vijfgangenmenu bij De Maatschappij. Dat ga je natuurlijk uitproberen. Het was letterlijk verrassend, met stijl en lekker. Voorafgaand werd geïnformeerd over allergieën en wat je absoluut niet eet. Toen begon het feest met extra’s als knapperig brood en aoili vooraf en een spoom tussendoor. De gastvrouw met kennis van zaken en focus op service maakte het geheel compleet. De sfeer was aangenaam ontspannen en casual.

Had a birthday party on Saturday evening for a friend who turned 45, cozy atmospheric decoration, really super nice hardworking staff and the snacks were delicious and original, I will definitely come back to eat there again, I say Kudos!!

Lekker eten, gezellige sfeer en enthousiast behulpzaam medewerkers. De burger met het saus erop was super lekker met de friet. Tent zag er ook feestelijk uit. Cosy tentje. Overal 8/10!

Nice pub with courteous service staff. Large selection of alcoholic drinks and good food offerings with reasonable prices. Tuesdays with a super discounted “Meal of the day” offer. Live music every Wednesday with the very good André Hazel.

Great bar/restaurant, right in front of the beach promenade in The Hague. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and attentive and came by every 15 minutes with free samples from the kitchen

We spent two great evenings here. The burgers are great, free darts and you can also ask about our individual football program on screen. There were also free slices of pizza for all visitors. All around great!

Good food, delicious beer and great service. There is the opportunity to play darts for free, which we really appreciated. Would come back immediately.

Met sukkels als personeel heb je geen vijanden nodig! 3x geprobeerd te bestellen! Drankje wilde hij wel doen, maar er zaten nog meer mensen die ruim na ons kwamen. We wilden niet de georganiseerde lunch v e 10 tje nee wilde wat lekkers eten. Maar ja die andete gasten. Uiteindelijk doorgelopen naar Niks, vakkundig en snel bediend en ook nog lekker gegeten. Dr maatschappij kan ons wat met dit soort personeel! Ballentent!

Been coming here once in a while for years. Remember, free food the umpteenth Tuesday every month or so. Now I had picked up the Too Good to Good package. It still had to be made, but it was completely worth it. Wonderfully tasty and tender meat, super tasty fried shrimp, very tasty soup and more. It's also a great thing, you can have all kinds of drinks packages, for example for 29.99 pp, unlimited beer/soft drinks/wine, I'll definitely consider that. The staff works hard and is friendly and cheerful. The outside terrace is not very large, it was full. It really makes me feel good that after all these years this case has gotten better, rather than worse. It was super tasty and that is not always the case with Too Good to Good. You also don't have the extreme and tourist crowds here, which you do at Boulevard and Koerhaus, for example. Gosh, better late than never, about time I wrote this great place review.

The food was great, after ordering the drinks two greetings came out of nowhere from the kitchen which tasted great. The price/performance is really excellent and the burgers are a feast for the eyes. Highly recommended in contrast to the expensive beach bars

We were there every evening during our holiday week for the European Championship games - super nice service, nice ambience, fast service - the finger food greetings from the kitchen were great 👌! Ellianne is the best bartender in town 🫶! We had a lot of fun there - even though we lost... Today we're keeping our fingers crossed for NL!

Worst Burger I’ve ever had. The vegetarian Asia burger is disgusting. The advertisement “Best Burger in town” is disappointing. Not worth it to pay money for the food.

The food was simply great, I would have expected a lot but it was a feast for the palate. Prices were great and everything was fresh, the small pesto salad with the burger Super you will be full, friendly service is not overcrowded Small and inconspicuous 👍👍👍

If you write “best burgers in town”, then they have to be good. We thought they were REALLY delicious. Fries were great too and finally not the usual pre-chopped side salad! Service was also quick and very friendly.

Very nice staff, sat in the bar by the window, dog was allowed in too, rock music and cozy atmosphere. The burgers are delicious, crispy fries, mixed salad and you'll be super full. To recommend.

Restaurant rather retro, food good and plentiful. Bar and disco have a great atmosphere but rather unusual for a restaurant. Burgers are recommended, but don't invite you to linger.

Gastvrij ontvangst, heerlijk gegeten. De tomatensoep met grote ballen was super! Het zag er schoon en vooral gezellig uit. Zeker aanrader. Wel mag er aandacht zijn voor glutenvrij. Hier ging wat mis maar werd echter wel opgelost.

Prima eten voor een goede prijs. Service is goed. Vriendelijk personeel. Qua sfeer in orde. Tevens de plek om in de avond een biertje te drinken.

Culinaire friet en een 0,4% kabouterdrankje

Het zag er gezellig druk uit, daar binnen. We werden verwelkomd en er was nog plek op deze zaterdagavond. We hadden weinig tijd en meldden dat . We werden vlot bediend en de door ons bestelde angusburger werd snel geserveerd. Het zag er goed uit,de friet in een ouderwets frietzakje! De witte wijn was goed van smaak en de burger was zeer smakelijk. We hebben genoten en bestelden koffie na. Tot onze grote verrassing kregen we er december chocolaatjes bij. Wat een leuke plek om iets te gaan eten! Een aanrader.

Vandaag met ongeveer 24 collega's hier mogen eten. Het eten, de bediening en ambiance was werkelijk fantastisch. Zeker een aanrader. De maatschappij, bedankt voor de fijne avond.!!

Judging by the looks and location--and country, one wouldn't expect great food. Most the places in the area simply bring the world's expection of Schevingen down to the very basic. The interiors invite locals, whom you'd expect wouldn't care too much about quality or creativity in food, ultra-calvinistic you might say, but that turns out to be a wrong assumption. This place is one of the very few places in Scheveningen--and the rest of The Hague for that matter, that raises the bar and puts the whole row of beach restaurants to shame--not that any of those restaurants will ever care. Truly, the only way to put those shameless restaurateurs out of business is to never go there and instead go to places like this one, where the chef DOES care about the food he serves. I had the Scheveningse Proeferij, a sampler of fresh seafood products typical of the area, elegantly plated, and simply delightful. Let's face it, unless you're dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, you shouldn't expect any Dutch restaurant to care about what food looks like on a plate, much less if it were a sampler of humble traditional Scheveningen fish. Here, they serve their "humble" culture with pride. I always come here to drink a glass of red, granted I don't get a choice of different reds, BUT the house wine does the job, again, not something you'd expect from a bar that looks rather..."traditional", a rather nice translation for the Dutch word "oudbollig". Hold on to your seats, folks, but while the Dutch are infamously stingy, this place actually serves...free food! Yes, the chef regularly serves little beautiful little creations on a platter they pass around to every table. Yeah, take some time to let that sink in. But wait, there's more! I might as well just say that unicorns exist, or Santa Clause, or Big Foot, but at this place, in Holland (above the river), you'll get SERVICE WITH A SMILE. Need I say more? I've lived in The Netherlands for 26 years now and bad service has been the norm, seriously, getting friendly service has become unsettling. Friendly service has become more figmental than UFO's at this point, and any staff who finds enough reason to smile--with sincerity I might add, and any chef that still has some passion for food without being pretentious, deserve to be enshrined in Dutch history forever. This place has restored my faith in humanity.

Schönes Restaurant in einer Seitenstraße. Guter Service, schönes Ambiente und leckeres Essen. War sehr gut besucht, aber es wurde ein Tisch frei und auch sofort gereinigt für uns. Echt top Service. Essen nett angerichtet und lecker.

Great place with a nice atmosphere, whether you want to watch sports, sit down for a relaxing drink or sit outside and enjoy good company. Excellent food, good value for money, delicious and huge portions. Nice vibe, lots of locals gathering around, always something on. Good location too, close to the beach on Keizerstraat, that’s closed to traffic, making it ideal to for a very social gathering area.

Snelle service en lekker gegeten

Spontaan binnengelopen wandelend door Scheveningen. Wij eten liever binnen dan op het terras, geen probleem, mooi plekje bij het raam om te zitten. Tomatensoep gekozen omdat er op de menukaart staat dat er grote gehaktballen in zitten, je ziet het op de foto daar is niets van gelogen. Lekkere groentenmix erbij, aangezien er ook gebakken aardappeltjes bij zaten hebben we als tip gegeven geen aardappeltjes door de groenten heen te doen. Vooral ook omdat je een bakje erbij krijgt waar couscous, aardappelsalade en rauwkost salade in zit. Vriendelijk personeel, zeker een aanrader.

Heerlijke burgers gegeten. Wat te veel achtergrondgeluid (drukte van andere mensen).

Look's a bit like a bar, but it is so good. The Burgers are deliceus and the servic is 10/10.

Onverwachts hier aangeschoven voor late lunch, na wandeling. Heel leuk ontvangen, heel vriendelijk personeel. Broodjes waren super, patat lekker, rose zalig. Gaan hier zeker terug.

Beste Burger in Den Haag!!! Bier und Essen ist nicht günstig aber den Preis wert. Mein Favorit ist der Trüffel-Burger 🤩 Fleisch und Brötchen in top Qualität. Man sitzt leicht schief draußen aber es geht. Abends immer wieder mit live Musik - richtig Stimmung im Laden! Bedienungen sind alle sehr lustig und nett. Macht weiter so!

Zufällig rein und danach jeden Abend bewusst diesen Laden aufgesucht. Cooles Ambiente und aufmerksame Bedienungen! Top!

Schöne kleine Kneipe in der Keizerstraat, leider stehen die Tische und Stühle aufgrund der Pflasterung sehr schief, dass hier auch mal ein Bier umkippt!😫😫
