The service was slow and took time to get us the drinks / food. Nevertheless maybe it was a particular moment where probably had an overbooking situation. However the vibe was great, the staff was mostly friendly and I will def be back for those spicy margaritas 🥰🙌🙌

I liked this place! I had an unforeseen extra in the form of a Live Band performing Latin music, a real bonus. I ordered some croquetas and 3 tacos, mixed and with a "salsa del diablo". OMG, salsa was really devilish hot. I enjoyed it with a margarita classic to start, a beer to accompany the tacos, and a Tequila Reposado as dessert. Will return!

Food was good but small portions and bit overpriced. Cocktails are interesting and tasty but again quite small for such a price. The service was fast and the live music inside brought cozy atmosphere and good vibes.

Our best dining experience during our stay in Amsterdam. We had small dishes to share which were so good. There were four of us in our party and we shared 5 dishes and we were full. The staff went out of their way and were very accommodating when we wanted to change the menu choices a bit. Super nice to just have a nice drink with a snack too. Absolutely worth a visit!

At first, reading on the menu that three tacos cost €19 seems like a lot, and it is; but once you eat them, you realize they're worth it. They're delicious. On the other hand, the rest of the dishes, like the arepas, are very, very good. The staff is attentive. The atmosphere is fine, maybe lacking a bit of a Mexican vibe, but it's very chic. In short, it's expensive, but worth the price.

We stopped here for a light lunch and had three tacos, which were absolutely delicious and full of authentic Mexican flavor. The service was excellent, especially from the friendly Irish waiter who made us feel very welcome and well looked after. It was a relaxing midday break with great food, a pleasant atmosphere, and attentive staff. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy tasty Mexican dishes in a comfortable setting.

The quesadillas were excellent! And do yourself a favor and order the tequicello. The service was great too, kudos to Bruna. The place can be a bit crowded/ loud but it's definitely worth it.

An authentic taste. Finally a place that does not rely on excessive sour cream, beans and guacamole to feel Mexican. All food taste was nice (in its simplicity). The (corn) taco taste was spot on. The (limited) options were well made and tasty. Drinks were tasty. But very low value for money. Enough to make all of us decide that while we may repeat for food - we will refrain from having drinks in here.

This is an amazing Mexican place in Amsterdam! They have a large drinks menu, highly focused on tequila and mezcal based drinks, but also some really nice food options - from bites to mains. We had two margaritas and a cocktail which were amazing! For food we had a mix of tacos, the beef, the quesadilla, and some loaded fries. The quesadilla was amazing, it was super cheesy and loved the guacamole as a side as well. The atmosphere inside is really nice and cozy. I would really recommend to come here for the drinks, but do not skip the food either as it is really lovely.

We came with 6 people through Wogo to sample cocktails. A great experience...yesterday for the third time...and the staff were very helpful again. Entertainer Enzo is always happy to make things even more fun! As we leave...we all spontaneously get a shot! Great place! See you soon, I think. Walter

The cocktails were delicious, and the house tequila was velvety smooth. The food was delicious. We especially loved the jalapeño poppers and arepa. The staff was very attentive and up for a chat and a joke. We'll definitely be back!

Warm margarita, skimpy servings, stale tacos also the steak was a jaw workout. Our waiter was nice but overall was a very disappointing experience. I will not be returning and do not recommend. Hostly is a catfish of a restaurant.

Cozy place with great drinks and a warm atmosphere I ended up here by chance for a drink - and what a nice surprise! We only had a drink, but the atmosphere was so good that I will definitely come back for dinner. The cocktails were delicious and clearly made with care. The service was also super friendly and relaxed, exactly what you want on a night in the city. You can feel that people work here with passion and pleasure. Recommended, also just for a drink in a cozy setting!

The Margaritabar...we were looking forward to it! But...starting with some drinks, was ' thé Margarita ' so so. Not a realy fresh looking nice cocktail. And so went the evening on. Almost cold ' croquettes ' not very tasty. Tacochips were fine...but not wauw. And 3 different taco's with pork, meat and shrimp..ri di cu lous. The lamest taco's effah! With 2 butterfly freezer shrimpies? Realy?? The meat-dish was a slight cut piece of bulk steak. Cheap meat. Not quality. The wine was the best. Not realy talented chef here. Lotsss of work to do here. Get inspiration...from real good Mexican chefs! Not a come back here for us.

Väldigt god mexikansk mat, mycket folk och trevlig hög stämning i restaurangen. Vi bokade bord vilket var bra då det nog snabbt blir fullt.

Las margaritas son grandes pero pequeñas. Si consigues los totopos pide la crema de lado, de lo contrario solo comerás papas fritas rociadas con mayo. Trae tu propia salsa - - por 2 €. 50 se puede obtener aproximadamente una cucharada llena. No te molestes con los churros, puedes conseguir los mismos en Jumbo y hornearlos tú mismo en casa.

Nice little place, with delicious food. Unfortunately the tables are very small and the couch was not very comfortable. The atmosphere and the food are good. In the beginning it took a while before our order was taken.

Este es el primero para mí ... un restaurante que está altamente calificado en Trip Advisor que era simplemente terrible. Llegamos a la inauguración y estábamos sentados enseguida. Había otras 2 o 3 fiestas comiendo, pero el restaurante no estaba ocupado. Dicho esto, después de pedir nuestras bebidas, nos dijeron que la cocina no abrió hasta las 5 : 30 (30 minutos son hora de apertura). Decidimos quedarnos de todos modos. Las bebidas finalmente llegaron después de unos 15 minutos de espera y eran raros. Mi esposa pidió una colada de pino y yo una mararita. Ambos tenían un sabor muy extraño para ellos. Poco después notamos que alguien estaba fumando marihuana en el restaurante (el servidor lo negó) y decidimos dejarlo. 20 minutos, 2 bebidas extrañas, sin comida (ni siquiera patatas fritas mientras esperamos a pedir) , y un billete de 24 euros. Quizá fue un mal día. Por cierto, la persona que limpiaba la mesa a nuestro lado tuvo que limpiar los asientos golpeando una almohada en los asientos. Nunca he visto eso en mi vida. Muy extraña experiencia. Nos fuimos preguntándonos si todos eran nuevos e inexpertos.

I really want to love this place. Drinks and service are impeccable. But the food leaves something to desire - especially the beef tasted off. Nice presentation but the taste was not what I'd expect from a place with such high rating.

The tacos were really poor. Tortillas were stale and tasted like they came out of a plastic package. Ordered a margerita and a beer that took 30 minutes and finally arrived after we had finished our food which we declined. They didn't even offer the first drinks for free to compensate for the long wait time which should be standard. It was also very loud with tables very close together so I felt I was listening mostly to my neighbours conversations

We (group of Latinos) ordered Patacones, they brought us sliced, panned sweet plantains (tajadas de plátano maduro). When we asked if perhaps she brought the wrong dish she said no, this how they make patacones, that it is "the Jamaican style" and perhaps we are mistaken. We assured her no, as even in Google reviews photos there are patacones and she still said no we are wrong, and we were still charged with the dish.

Top, top, top What a beautifully decorated shop, high-quality cocktails with beautiful flavors and the food had a delicious taste and texture. The lady who helped us had never heard of a gluten allergy and she did her best to understand the situation and ask what we could eat. Very attentive and very friendly. We will be back! Keep on rocking it <3

This is an amazing place to come for drinks and some dinner. The margaritas were unlike any we have ever had before and were delicious! Service was great and the food was incredibly good. A lot better than we were expecting and really exceeded our expectations. Very vibey.

FOOD POISONING!!!! We were recommended this place by one of our river cruise tour guides as we wanted nice Mexican food. The beef tacos were absolutely vile to the point I took one bite and took no more, it tasted like it was cooked three weeks ago and then reheated. It tasted off. When I made the waitress aware she didn’t have a care in the world, not really great when you’ve spent a fair amount of money on something inedible. Didn’t even offer a replacement!!! We were a group of 5, 3/5 of us ended up with diarrhoea and vomiting. Resulting in the three wasting an entire day of their short city break inside their room trying to nurse themselves better. Oh and a rather expensive trip to the pharmacy for some medicine! I do NOT recommend this place unless you want poor service and an extremely upset stomach.

Me and a group of friends came here after a recommendation, we all ordered our food and one of the orders were practically inedible (tacos). I had ordered the pulled pork torta which rendered me with food poisoning, wasting my entire day vomiting and totally ruining my following days with shivering and sweats and everything in between. After complaining about the tacos nothing was done about it and the complaint was completely shrugged off and ignored which is abhorrent customer service in my opinion. Don’t recommend unless you want to ruin your holiday with food poisoning.

We expected better when reading the glowing reviews. The meat was poorly seasoned, especially the very dry tacos. As for margaritas, they have a fresh and fruity taste but they can also be improved. The general atmosphere and the music are good but there is a lot of noise, which makes discussions very complicated.

Delicious chicken and nice service!

I liked this bar! They have a big selection of cocktails and many interesting snacks. Jamaican jerk chicken was delicious, but too pricey in my opinion. Cocktails: w had a couple of different margaritas, both were interesting, but felt a bit too watery. Atmosphere is tropical just as I liked, I think they did a good job with vibes and decorations. I can recommend the place. It would be 5 star if they reduced prices by 15-20 percent.

Staff is caring and friendly. We really enjoyed all the different cocktails we tried, “Puerto Escondido” was our favorite. Food was nice (7/10), but we definitely had higher expectations on their tacos and we would not recommend the chimichurri meat. On the other hand, all of their sauces were on point 1000/10 🌶️

This place has a nice vibe, a good selection of tequila and mezcal and tasty margaritas. I gotta say though, €32 for five (5) small tacos, which are arguably not enough to feed one person, is a bit too much.

These tacos were not normal. Was completely full but had to order new ones. Aram and Enzo really set this up great! Definitely come back here, recommended to everyone.

Mains took 30-35 mins to come after we had our starters, and we had to ask where it was, and then it arrived cold. Also took 20 mins for our drinks to come at one point, and we had to ask the waitress 3 times for tap water. It was busy but service was generally pretty poor - one waitress gave us lemon infused tequila as an apology which was a nice touch, but overall wouldn’t return. Also overpriced for what it is

First time here and I was very impressed. The food, drinks and atmosphere was spectacular! The owner was especially welcoming. We ordered the jerk chicken and it was delicious. The tequila espresso martini was amazing. The service was a tad slow, but they made up for it with kindness and generosity. Drinks were flavorful and innovative. I RECOMMEND.

The shop was Popetorn, and I was lucky enough to find a spot at the bar, but I didn't regret it. The bartender really put on an entertaining show and I wasn't disappointed with the food either. I had Topos with the Jamaica Jerk Chicken and churros for dessert, it was all very tasty. I would love to come back

The vibe was nice, but the service was a mess. Hoping it’s because they just rolled out their new menu? We waited over an hour for our tacos, followed up three times, and then found out our server forgot to put the order in — no real apology or anything (the other server was super kind and helpful though!). Drinks took forever too. I get that service in Amsterdam can be slow, but this was next-level frustrating. Even though the food was decent, I wouldn’t visit again. Chicken and pork tacos were good and the El Diablo salsa was fantastic, but skip the steak and black beans.
