Rude delivery drivers!! The first time went wrong. I called to ask what I ordered, and they offered an incomprehensible apology, and I thought, "That happens." I ordered several times after that, and each time something was wrong, but I wasn't too worried. But today was the last time I'll spend my money here. The delivery driver was downstairs on his scooter, ordering me to come down for my food. He rang the doorbell several times, and only after I called the restaurant did he give me a lame excuse about the door not opening. He kept ringing the doorbell like crazy instead of immediately saying the door wouldn't open. Which wasn't even the case, because we tried it later, and the door opened just fine. I refused the food and asked for a refund. I will NEVER order from here again!!

The order took a long time to arrive. When it finally arrived, the meat wasn't cooked properly, the pita bread was burnt, and there wasn't even a cucumber or anything.

Terrible! Never again! Delivery took way too long. 1.5 hours instead of half an hour. (It happens, but if you do, tell them it will take a bit longer.) Then the order was incomplete and three phone calls later. On the line, we were called liars because the order was supposedly complete?! No way! In the end, the rest of the order was supposed to be delivered immediately by scooter, but the food that had already been delivered was cold. After waiting fifteen minutes, the order still hadn't arrived (a five-minute drive). We called again and had another argument: "You already received it." NO???? We were told we didn't need to order anymore and hung up. Another 10 minutes later, and the delivery arrived... HOW ANTI-SOCIAL CAN A PHONE OPERATOR/COMPANY BE? THIS FAMILY WILL INDEED NEVER ORDER AGAIN!!

Unfortunately, delivery takes far too long every time. On a weekday, you can definitely expect delivery to take longer than 1.5 hours, and often even longer. This is a shame because the food is always good. Communication is poor, and they always use the same excuses. "We have a problem, I'm currently making the order, or it's just been shipped out." Business has really taken a turn for the worse. Such a shame! We definitely won't be ordering from them again.

Oh, how this place has gone downhill. We've been coming here for years, but yesterday we found the doors closed at 5:30 PM. Someone yelled out the window that they were about to open. Inside, someone was sleeping with their head on the bar. When they are open, people gamble on the slot machines, and there's little atmosphere or ambiance. The food has also gone downhill. Not for us anymore.

What a mess this place is. Ordered last night just before closing time... never received my order. Waited for hours, only to find out the store was closed! Unprofessional.

I ordered two pizzas here yesterday. One with pepperoni and one with shawarma. Both were delicious and generously topped. The delivery driver called promptly when he arrived. We didn't have to wait long either; the food arrived within 25 minutes. I see a lot of mixed reviews, but my experience was definitely great 👍🏽

The first pizza was burnt and crushed. The fries were completely dripping with moisture, and the delivery person was very grumpy. I called the restaurant, and the man didn't believe what I was saying. I had to struggle to send him photos, then he quietly called me back curtly and said I'd get a new pizza. I got a new pizza again because of the grumpy delivery person. The pizza was tasteless and inedible, a waste of money, as it wasn't cheap either. I won't order from them again.

We ordered by phone, but we barely got half of it, and then you call and can't understand them. The staff looked very young and didn't understand Dutch very well.

They have very tasty pork Shawarma here!!

They are very rude on the phone. And when I start talking about how they treated me before, they deny it. They also barely speak Dutch and act as if it is my problem. While I am the one who can speak Dutch in the Netherlands.

Good food 😋 I liked the chicken wings. Also, they had a big serving for the T-bone steak. The staff is nice.

I have been a customer here for years and I am sad that I have to make this review! I have ordered from them many times and once had a long gray hair in my food. After calling they couldn't do anything for me. I just had another haircut in my hair salon, after giving them a new one they made me a new one and I had to pay 8.50. While I indicated that I was no longer hungry! Took the hair salon out without eating anything! Cats also roam freely in the restaurant and happily eat the leftovers of people who leave their plates! A friend of mine even got sick from eating it. Please don't order here!!

We hebben hier beiden een heerlijke pizza gegeten, met bijzonder vriendelijke bediening.

Een van de beste shoarmas van Zaandam, ik bestel vaak. in het restaurant zelf zit er vaak uitgaanspubliek wat iets minder is op de vrijdag of zaterdagavond.

This is a great little place for no frills, decent food. Pizza, steaks and Turkish kebabs are on the menu, all freshly prepared by the friendly staff. The decor is styled on an Egyptian theme, it’s located off the main boulevard, with the posher restaurants around the corner but you get a good meal here at a good price.

Goed eten...schotels shoarma en kip saté (3 filets) frisse salade. Vriendelijk personeel.

We eten al tientallen jaren met plezier bij de piramide, maar nu smaakte het niet lekker. De kaas zag er anders uit. Dus ik heb ze gebeld. Toen hij eindelijk eens luisterde naar wat ik te zeggen had ( hij moest per se weten wat ik besteld had en bij wie ( thuisbezorgd of deliveroo )) kreeg ik als antwoord " alles is hetzelfde" Nou dus echt niet hè. Maar goed... Ik zal ze nog 1 X proberen omdat we er zolang tevreden over waren, maar hun klantenservice is ruk.

Dacht bestel via hun eigen website, omdat ze aan thuisbezorgd commissie moeten afstaan. Blijkt het eten gewoon duurder te zijn op hun eigen website dan via thuisbezorgd. Kip van de Pasta Pesto kip was niet smakelijk (droog en gaar). Broodje lamsshoarma en kapsalon waren redelijk.

De piramide ik ben daar geweest en het was echt leuk en gezellig. er is ook een nieuwe eigenaar is veel beter dan die oude eigenaar. Het eten daar is heerlijk om te proeven.

Ik ben gisteren gaan eten in het restaurant en het eten is geweldig en in het restaurant zitten is leuk met de nieuwe eigenaar,hij verwelkomt klanten goed en vriendelijk. Het was gezellig.

Ik heb eegisteren bij de pirmiden gegeten en was heerlijk zeker ook vriendelijk service bij de nieuwe eigenaar

Heerlijk gegeten en eten is op tijd bezorgd. Complimenten voor de vriendelijke bezorger die aan komt met een leuke glimlach!

Vroeger altijd heel tevreden geweest over De Piramide, maar net bestelling ontvangen: koud, voor 1 broodje saus geleverd ipv 2 en de bezorger had maar 2 euro wisselgeld mee ipv 6,50 terwijl ik aangegeven had om met 20,- te betalen. Geen piramyde meer dus, zijn wel betere shoarmazaken.

We had a Greek salad, shwarma special sandwich and a shwarma Turkish pizza. The salad was fresh and came to the table quickly. The sandwiches were hot and tasty! Very reasonable for the amount of food!

De patat was zompig, niet gaar en lekte het zakje uit, die hebben we gelijk weggegooid. De döner in de kapsalon was niet lekker en was in hele grote stukken gesneden en de sla die er los bij zat was echt niet te eten, harde stukken ertussen. GEEN aanrader!

Het vlees, oké, niet super, het brood, smaakte naar een opwarmertje van vorige week, de salade, slap en verlept, de persoon aan de telefoon, arrogant, asociaal, kwakte de hoorn er op Uiteindelijk hebben we maar een broodje kaas gemaakt en hun eten de container in gedumpt

2 grote broodjes shoarma besteld en betaald , gebracht 2 kleine,gebeld en heel snel nog eens 2 grote gebracht 👌wat een goede service

Altijd veel vlees voor de pecunia. Ook een fijne plek om samen te komen en wat Egyptische woordjes te leren.

Altijd goed eten, ik ben dol op de pizza's! Al mogen ze soms wel wat langer in de oven, soms beetje slap, ze komen vaak ongesneden aan dus dat moet je wel even doorgeven dat je een gesneden pizza wilt, voor de rest is alles top en bestel ik hier vaak :)

Normaal bestel ik altijd een kilo menu shoarma. Hierover ben ik zeer te spreken. Vandaag een menu döner besteld... sorry maar die was niet te eten :-( werd er gewoon misselijk van. De döner was niet doorbakken waardoor deze de structuur had van een frikandel..

Eten was weer heerlijk. Goed vlees. Menu's zijn groot genoeg om je honger te stillen.

Esta es una joya escondida, escondida en una calle lateral pero muy acogedora. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente. Enormes porciones de pizza, pasta, kebab y cocina del norte de África. A un precio muy razonable.

Niet echt. Broodje Doner, vlees leek wel van worst gemaakt, knoflooksaus uit een spuitbus. Tis te eten, maar daar is dan ook alles mee gezegd.

Really good fast food restaurant, don't expect something special of you go here, but the prices are way below Zaandam average(~7€ for a decent Kebab plate, ~12€ for the XXL variant which will fill you up for sure) and the food is really good for what you pay here. Unfortunately the fries were underneath the meat and salad and lost all of their crunch after a short time. Apart from that,the salad was fresh and the meat was soft and tasty, sauces were really good and to main courses you receive an extra bowl of onions in a special sauce which have a fantastic aroma to them and spice up any meal! Nice place if you want a big and quick meal for small money.
