Very delicious pizza. The best.

We had a delicious meal here, service was "smooth" and both girls were very nice and neat. We are more than an hour and a half from Amsterdam, but if we are in the area again, this will definitely be on our list.

Cozy pizza place. We didn't make a reservation but they still found a spot and took us in. Super pizza 🍕 and very yummy 🤤.

Good pizza. Crust was a wee bit wet and soft toward the center. But very tasty nonetheless.

I have actually been coming to Pizzabakkers for years and have been to the Plantage Kerklaan location several times, but I have never had such a bad experience. We reserved a table for 3 and upon arrival there was a whole team of waiters ready, but no one could help us because they did not have the reservation. Ultimately we were placed outside on a dirty table next to another couple, so our reservation was not taken into account. The service was extremely slow, especially in bringing the drinks. The boy who served us came across as very slow and as if he understood almost nothing. He took our order for 3 pizzas, but even had to come back for this because he didn't have his tablet with him earlier and had forgotten the order. (3 pizzas!!) After taking the first drinks it took 10 minutes for them to be on the table and it only got worse. I don't understand, coming from the catering industry, that handling 8 tables in total with a team of 10 people can be so difficult. My friend ordered a new wine, while his glass was still full, to see how long it would take and sure enough, the glass was empty and still not delivered. We asked the boy who served us about this and said “oh yes I forgot”. After ten minutes my girlfriend went inside and interrupted the chatting service team by asking if the wine was still coming, and after asking what wine we were talking about it occurred to him again, the wine is coming. More minutes passed and I finally canceled the wine and asked for the bill, of course there was too much wine on the bill... Pizza was tasty, but it's a shame that in such a nice corner spot, such poor service can keep you from coming back anytime soon. Maybe hire more energetic people.

Great ingredients, but the base is so thin and the toppings (sauce and cheese, for example) are so spicy that if you don't eat your pizza within 5 minutes, it feels like you're chewing cardboard.

No reservations, was full inside. We started outside, had a table in 10 minutes. Margherita pizza and a mushroom onion pizza - both excellent. Mushrooms were freshly sautéed - not canned! Very friendly staff. The ceiling had silencing cover so we could talk to each other. Great evening!

Most fake chains pizzerias u can find in Amsterdam, pizza is like e pita, not a real Italian pizza, there are so many REALS AND AUTHENTIC Italian pizzeria in Amsterdam, Avoid this one!!

I dined in … service took an exceptionally long time and the pizza was somewhat above cardboard. No one checked on me and I had rarely complain … but this was not a good experience at all. Barbara

The portion of the pizza is quite large, the crust is thin and crispy, and the taste is not too strong. There is no eggplant paste on the mushroom-flavored pizza, which I like very much. However, there are not enough waiters and the work is very busy, so the serving speed is a bit slow. The drinks are good, it would be better if the soda is served with ice! The taste and texture of the dessert are good, with a wine flavor and not too sweet. Recommended👍🏼👍🏼

Lukewarm pizza and no decent solution. Ordered two pizzas here. Unfortunately, these turned out to be more cold than warm when served at the table. When we indicated this, the waiter offered to put the pizzas in the oven for a while. Since one pizza was with arugula and the other with a complete burrata, this did not seem like a good solution to us. The waiter then said he didn't know anymore. And while the policy is that you should get new pizzas (we found out when we got home). No more pizza bakers for us!

There are too many people serving here and almost all of them are slow and not paying attention.

Went here yesterday without a reservation, but that was no problem. Ordered green iced tea, first asked whether it was really regular green iced tea, and according to the staff it was. At the first sip it turned out to be mint flavored, which I thought did not suit my food at all because the flavor was very overpowering. The taste of the pizza itself was good. Just a pity that the pizzas were lukewarm. Management offered to put them back in the oven, but that didn't seem like a good idea with pizza with fresh arugula on top. Pizza was also difficult to cut, tough crust. Not worth repeating for me.

Most burnt pizza I've ever had just got here. Just put a kilo of arugula on top so you didn't see it. Well, after bite 1 you immediately notice this, great. Due to hunger we decided to eat because there was a European Championship match and there was nothing else. Every bite had a burnt piece. Only the large bandaged parts were expressed, so there was much more than in the photo. This pizza should never have left the shop. Part of the arugula was also divided among the other pizzas, which were 3 others, and we still had arugula left. Downright ridiculous what you expect for the price. In addition, we had to wait 25 minutes in the store even though the app said it was already ready. Wouldn't recommend anyone to order something here, especially when it's busy

Had very bad pizzas there. Absolutely cold pizzas with crunchy base, that we waited more than 30mins and were told that they are 'in the oven'(but came cold). Mom ordered aperol and bruchettas, that turned also 30 min late and were 5×5cm half of bread "brucchetas" . However the only hot food were olives?! I don't know why but that was disgusting to eat.

Disappointed in the experience. The waiter was clearly sick and I’m afraid has passed the sickness on to me. If you’re sick, stay home. Don’t pass along illnesses. Beyond that, our pizza took forever to come out even by European standards. When it came out it was mismatched almost as if someone had selected various single slices and arranged them out of order. When delivered he asked if it was okay. We asked if something was wrong with it and he replied “theoretically nothing.” That sort of phrasing when applied to a meal is a red flag. I’m disappointed the restaurant didn’t have the pride nor respect to make the experience right. Would not return.

The greeting was: how can I help you? Unfortunately, not exactly an inviting greeting for guests who came on a “recommendation”. Even though the restaurant was empty, we weren't allowed to choose a free seat. With two dogs, the passage is rather inappropriate as a suitable place. Unfortunately the staff wasn't friendly. We were never asked whether it tasted good or whether everything was okay. Only when paying the bill, where no tip was given, did the waitress start making small talk. The two pizzas were a little burnt because the cook was busy in the basement and hastily took the pizzas out of the oven. The dough had a semolina-like consistency. The sauce tastes rather sour. My salami pizza was okay, my partner's was rather unseasoned.

Recommended restaurant of a franchise. Good pizzas and bruschetta. A tad long wait between ordering and service.

Pizzas were tasty but took a very long time to come. After inquiring, the pizza was reserved immediately, although it was cold. This was reported to the operator, but nothing was done about it. Too bad, although the taste was good.

waiting time was much too long , you need to be informed that the shop in empty but there are many deliveries before you. I request 3 times my margarita with extra cheese but the guy on the counter apparently don't know how to add this request in the system , so he ignore my request and after I complain he just layed tand claim that he forgot to add it. for the finale he sold me a desert that was not available and try to offer me a different one , when I ask for a refund , I been told that it is impossible as I already paid for It. avoid the take away shop next to the restaurant , it run by amateurs.

Some nice pizzas, a bit floppy crust bust still really nice.

We recently stumbled on this nice place whilst out looking for somewhere for dinner. It’s a cosy restaurant with a modern interior and a lively atmosphere. The focaccia and crust dippers were a lovely starter. The Caponata and Prosciutto d’Abruzzo pizzas were delicious.

At first we wondered if we were the problem. After reading several negative comments, I can see that we have exactly the same concerns: the pizzas were quite good in themselves. On the other hand, the service. The waiter clearly had a problem with people speaking in English. We were not treated the same as Dutch customers at all. Dispatched service, not a smile, glasses placed almost aggressively, cleared without having finished. Addition given without even offering us a dessert, the person even cleared everything and cleaned the table while we were still there! And when paying, unable to use his own credit card device and accusing us of having a card that doesn't work!! Frankly, unacceptable for a restaurateur. Everywhere else in Amsterdam the welcome was perfect. Avoid this place if you are not a local.

In my opinion, the pizza could have had a bit more toppings. Everything else was good.

Very cozy little pizza restaurant. The atmosphere is nice. They have Italian style pizzas, and some special Italian starters. I really liked the eggplant-cheese-mousaka-like starter (I cannot remember the name sorry!). We had the pizza with mushroom and bacon. There was not so much topping, but even the pizza crust was tasty!

It's not bad at all. We didn't have anywhere else to dine near our hotel and we wanted to try it. And hey, well not that bad. Homemade pizzas, at a good price and tasty. Attentive and friendly staff, although somewhat saturated (the place was full when we arrived). The parmesan lasagna is delicious and the pizzas are delicious, homemade and tasty (caponata in my case). Good price. The tiramisu for dessert was also very good.

We'll never come here again. Saturday (23/12) the three of us had lunch at De Pizzabakkers Plantage. On the table was a sign with Pizza of the month: Salami al Tartufo. We ordered two pizzas of the month plus a 'regular' Tartufo pizza. However, we received a completely different pizza than indicated as pizza of the month. We didn't like that. The pizza of the month that we ordered turned out not to be available. We ordered two other pizzas. The employee of the Pizza Bakers then said that the pizzas of the month would be charged. 25 euros. How? Was it our fault? Of course not. The waitress was nice and couldn't do anything about it. Her boss had decided that. Of course, that boss was nowhere to be seen. My fellow guests immediately said: we will never come here again. By the way, we had spent 240 euros (80 euros per person). We suggested donating the 25 euros to charity, but they were not open to that. What a terrible company, we will never go there again.

Was here a few days ago with a group of international exchange students, it was no problem when we reserved earlier that day and everything was organised alright and the food was good.

Good pizza, perhaps a little too thin, bit more dough wouldn’t harm … for the rest, cooked well, seasoning is fine.

Original thin Italian pizza! So delicious and fresh, I ordered margherita with burrata (the usual) and my friend ordered the funghi and both of our pizzas were very tasty! we came back two days after ♥️ 🍉🍉

i had the pizza spinaci and was impressed by the quality of the ingredients, you could really taste how fresh and tender it was! i also tried a slice of the fungi and the mushrooms were the same, amazing taste. i would definitely recommend this place, especially for the price!

One of the beter pizza places in the area. Excellent service, good prices and great wine. Can be a bit busy on peak hours. They don't deliver but definitely worth stopping by for take out.
