My second favorite place to eat in Amsterdam

Celebrated my birthday in this cozy but vibrant spot, and it was truly a delight! The food was just as delicious as in Italy, and the service made us feel right at home. A special thanks to Fabio—hope I got your name right! Grazie for the wonderful experience, Eatmosfera Oost! ♥️♥️♥️

Good quality pizza, felt very fresh in a way that is hard to find in Amsterdam. Staff is friendly and professional, and the pizzas were served really quickly. The place is very noise though (Italian style indeed), and I think the interior decoration and vibes could be improved to be taken to the same level of quality as their pizzas. Price is on the high side but not unreasonable for the quality. I would recommend.

EAtmosphere is a small but welcoming place. The pizza is good, with light dough and quality ingredients. Friendly service and informal atmosphere. Perfect for a dinner without too many pretensions but with taste. Overall, positive experience!

Eatmosfera is one of the top pizza places I’ve experienced worldwide. I used to live right next door so it was our local … but every time we have pizza I find myself comparing it back to eatmosfera… and often eatmosfera is on top! Also compared to other top spots in Amsterdam, I think Eatmosfera is better than LouLou and Nnea. The quality of the ingredients and the dough is excellent and their authentic oven makes all the difference. I always get the pizza of the day. No matter what. But especially when it’s with leeks!!!! The staff are so lovely and I feel like we’re friends. It’s a true neighborhood feeling. Fabio is my absolute favorite member of staff and I’m so sad not to see him as I walk by anymore for a wave or a chat since I moved out of the neighborhood. Anytime I am in the area again I always try to give them a visit. Keep up the good work guys! - “Wendy”

Delicious Neapolitan pizzas straight from the brick oven! We went for dinner with 3 children and the staff is very child-friendly, great!

We had such a delicious meal here, the pizzas were very tasty and the Tiramisu was also delicious. But all this was made even better by the fantastic staff!!! We felt completely at home and received great service <3

Ordered via uber eats and got extremely sick on the stomach (2 people) for several days. No refund, no apologies, i would avoid this place as it seems they dont follow hygiene rules in the kitchen

We sampled Eatmosfera fairly 'randomly'; as long as it is in that area and has a brick oven. What a surprise! A real pizzeria, where you can eat your fingers with the starter (focaccia). Clearly a specialist at work. It's small, but cozy. Definitely worth driving around for. Five stars!

Small (grilled vegetables) pizza with more rucola and cheese than veggies. Taste was okay but the size is very small which makes it a very expensive pizza and it was missing lots of veggies. We won't order from them again

There pizzas are to die for. It’s tad bit expensive in my opinion, but then again we travel for over 2 hours in public transport, just to enjoy there pizza.

Amazing sourdough pizza. They are using no yeast! I had no stomach problems, no fatigue,no stomach acid. Amazing quality and great owner as well. Top notch red wine. If you want to eat a great pizza and drink fantastic wine without having a pizza belly, go there !

Very friendly and helpful staff

Definitely my most favorite restaurant in Amsterdam. I come here on average once a month. The pizzas are simply the best! The only disadvantage is that once you have eaten a pizza here, you are really spoiled afterwards. It is also difficult to match this quality in Italy itself. The team is very pleasant and hospitable. Expect a bit of chaos here, it's really Italian style here and it's always busy. Personally, I like that, but I can imagine that some people would like a little more order and peace. You won't find that here. Lately I have been taking the pizzas of the week more and more often. These are really special pizzas and super tasty. Honest and pure ingredients and special combinations! All ingredients are brought here from Italy every week. It doesn't get better than this! The tiramisu is also really phenomenal! Keep up the good work!

Great Italian pizzeria! As Italians I can guarantee that the pizza is really tasty. I truly recommend to come here to eat a special one. The host and the stuff are really nice and kind and make you feel like you’re in Italy.

Super authentic. Run by fun and kind Italians. Great vibes. Great food. We ate the Margarita and the Truffle Bianca Pizza, both were wonderful.

Insanely delicious! We especially recommend the white pizzas! We didn't get a seat, but we were still treated very courteously and the pizza to take away was ready immediately!

Best pizza I’ve had in town, together with 1-2 more places (reviews on my profile). So many green flags: So many green flags -The simple chairs and aesthetics -Hidden in a corner in Amsterdam oost -They are Italian -They only have antipasti’s and pizzas on the menu -The menu itself is half in Italian But the greenest flag of all? Italians were biking by shouting ciao and stopping to get a pizza and leave. Food is of excellent quality. Simple recipes made with fresh ingredients, hugged by an amazing dough. I highly recommend you to try this place.

Eetmosfera Oost is a gem in Amsterdam! The pizza was absolutely delicious—perfectly baked with fresh ingredients. I also had a Negroni, and it was amazing. The combination of great food and expertly crafted drinks makes this place a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Excellent pizza, and closest I have found to pizza in Italy. Ingredients were fresh send perfectly balanced in my opinion. Service was very friendly, though they are busy, so it can be slow. Good wine, and good tiramisu. I felt the price was fair for the value of the food received (unlike most other places we’ve been where prices have been high and quality poor)

The “waitlist” online is misleading. It means that if someone cancels within the timeframe you choose, you will be contacted for a table. So be sure to make a reservation, as this place can be popular. Delicious and fresh pizza, arguably the best I’ve had in Amsterdam. It’s always fresh and comes out fast, whether for dine in or takeaway. The service can be very friendly and inviting, sometimes other service feels like I am being a nuisance (dinner rush stress perhaps).

Great pizza. Have lived in Amsterdam just a little over a week and have already been here twice.

The pizza is thin, easy to eat and great sauce. They also have a wide variety of wines. Great desserts too.

I brought my Italian boyfriend there when he was craving some good pizza and his answer was "best pizza I had" and this says it all.

Always the pizze and friendliest waiters!

I’ll make it simple: this is the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy (where I have lived for a year). The dough is simply amazing (napoletan style), the products are of optimum quality and the flavor combinations are creative but still authentic (salsiccia and crema di parmigiano are a match made in heaven!). I should also mention the sunny terrace, friendly service and warm atmosphere. If that’s not enough to convince you to come try it, I don’t know what will!

Neighbourhood pizzeria. The pizza they made was just averagely fine referring to the pizza presented as Naples-style. The pizza was not astoundingly amazing. Or I could say it’s disappointing considering the review is quite high and I disagree with “the best pizza in Amsterdam”. The cheese and meat they chose with the combination of the pizza dough were quite heavy. On the next day, I still feel my stomach was so doughy and dairy milky. It affected me with the feeling inclined to vomit and queasy. I can say I’m an absolute pizza lover. I would not say the pizza is bad but I never had disgusting after taste next day with any pizza I had before. Additionally, the options on the menu were also limited and the flavours they offered were not very appealing. But if you live nearby, you can try out. However it was not worth much to travel there for their pizza. It has to be noted that inside is like a sauna. I was quite surprised to it because none of the pizzeria with oven interior in Amsterdam I have been to was like that.

I always took out at this place in the past. Back then, I would always give this place 5 stars. But this time we decided to eat there for my birthday as a family, and booked a table. The vibe was quite stressful as the restaurant was fully packed 😅 Not that relaxed to eat there with the small child, because of this. That’s why the restaurant experience steals 1 star from impeccable food quality. Tastewise, still my #1 pizza in Amsterdam and goes second after pizza I’ve had in Italy.

One and only pizzeria in Oost, shame there aren't many more of those, amazing sourdough crust. Unfortunately they also have pizza biancas, so order carefully ( joking of course) . Pretty good tiramisu also. Issue with the service is that they are taking their time, so be patient, it's worth the wait

Great Italian pizzeria! As Italians, we always love to find bits of our roots around the world, and Eatmosfera is the place to be if you miss Italy. As a student here I really missed the real Italian pizza and here I was able to eat a special one. The host of the pizzeria makes you feel part of their family and keeps you always in great spirits.

Leggermente fuori dai percorsi turistici ma vale davvero la pena di andare in questo posto per mangiare una pizza eccellente !!! In ogni caso ci si arriva tranquillamente anche con i mezzi pubblici. I ragazzi che gestiscono il locale sono molto simpatici e super veloci. Tuttavia il primo premio va al pizzaiolo!!! La pasta è semplicemente buonissima, il cornicione intorno alla pizza è perfetto, gli ingredienti a condimento di grande qualità! E nel menu, accanto alle tradizionali, si trovano anche pizze un po’ diverse dal solito, con accostamenti insoliti ma veramente azzeccati !!!! Andate e scopriteli!! Bravi!

This is the crappiest delivery service ever. Almost 2 hours after ordering they…CANCELLED the order! Never experienced something like that before and never want to again. No phone call, no incentive for follow-up order. Just left us starving with two kids! Business like these don’t take their customers seriously.

Positive points: - great waiters and waitresses. They are very friendly and respectful. We had a very nice experience. - the best Tiramisu we have ever had! It was delicious 😋 Things to improve: - It is a bit busy and noisy during the weekend - the back of the pizza was a bit burnt. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. 🙂

They make great pizza. The kind where the crust has a bit of chewiness to it with flavour, and then you get the toppings. Then add an Italian beer or a glass of wine and boom! An excellent evening out. You may need to reserve as being good means they get busy at times.

The highlight for me was definitely the food; the pizzas and appetizers were served promptly and were delicious.The drink selection was also impressive, and I found myself enjoying a few beverages throughout the evening. What really stood out to me, though, was how accommodating the staff were, especially when it came to our son. They provided a high chair for him and even took the time to interact and play with him, which was incredibly sweet and made us feel like valued guests.The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed evening with colleagues. Overall, I would highly recommend Eatmosfera to anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and exceptional service in a warm and welcoming environment.

Really very delicious pizza; you can tell the ingredients are of high quality. 4 rather than 5 stars because the topping combinations aren’t particularly imaginative and the prices are pretty high. My favourite pizza was the Acciughe with Stracciatella.

A family environment, and what about Fabio, the manager of the restaurant, a very nice person who makes you feel immediately at ease. The pizzas are very good, one that I recommend is spilinga nduja, gorgonzola and mozzarella, Tuscan pecorino sausage and mozzarella are also good. If I were to return to Amsterdam I will definitely return
