Very good pizza, with rich and fresh ingredients. Authentic italian. Since I first ate here I have become a permanent customer. One of the best pizzerias in the city, totally recommend it.

You can tell they are true italians ! Pizza was excellent, dough was light and crunchy, and the tiramisu was delicious too ! 10/10 would order again

La Polpetta es una verdadera joya! Desde la primera bocanada de pizza recién horneada hasta el último bocado de su tiramisú celestial, todo fue increíble. La corteza era perfectamente crujiente y masticable, con ingredientes frescos y sabrosos que me transportaron directamente a Italia. El personal era cálido y atento. Ya sea que estés ansioso por la clásica Margherita o algo más gourmet, este lugar es una visita obligada. ¡No puedo esperar para volver y compartir la experiencia con amigos! Bravo!

What a nice restaurant! It is clear that the focus is on takeaway. However, it is definitely recommended to visit and be inspired by the Italian chef and his girlfriend! Very good food! Not the standard pizzaria in the Netherlands, perhaps in Italy. All ingredients clearly fresh and many from Italy.

Me and my partner always to to La Polpetta and are never disappointed. The pizza is delicious, the people are super friendly and welcoming. We always order pizza 'la Polpetta' and its and an absolute recommendation (among probably all others :)). I am happy to have such a good, well priced, friendly and authentic pizza place in our neighborhood.

A very small, casual restaurant, but the pizza was very good. So was the lasagna. Not a very extensive menu, no alcohol, but if in the area drop in and have a pie served by a very friendly waitress.

This is the best authentic Italian pizza in Amsterdam!

Excellent pizzas and relatively cheap, compared to other pizza restaurants with similar quality! The pizza with buratta is a particular favorite. Pizzas are always delivered quickly and friendly delivery staff. Point for improvement: open 7 days a week, so I can order pizzas even more often ;)

This place has authentic pizzas made by real Italian pizzaiolos with tasteful ingredients and at reasonable prices for Amsterdam. Why should you search elsewhere? Per solidarity with this family business, I always order by phone and pick it up, rather than through delivery companies.

Se passate da qui dovete assolutamente fermarvi. È stata la nostra prima fermata appena arrivati ad Amsterdam e ci siamo sentiti subito a casa, persone gentili e ambiente familiare. Tutto ciò che abbiamo assaggiato ci è piaciuto moltissimo: parmigiana, polpette, patate al forno, pizza, tiramisù. Utilizzano prodotti di ottima qualità e prodotti calabresi come la salsiccia e la nduja. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene tanto da ritornare a cena. I prezzi sono ottimi. Il locale carino, piccolo in quanto fa per lo più cibo da asporto, ma fermarsi qui per qualche polpetta, una parmigiana o una pizza è d'obbligo!

Lovely Italian which I popped into for a quick lemonade. Which I enjoyed on a warm day. I did not eat there so I can’t comment on the food. But I definitely recommend it there for a Italian sparkling lemonade. I will return for another again soon. Grazie !!

I'm happy to say I have finally found a real authentic Italian restaurant in our beautiful city of Amsterdam. At (late) lunch time with the sun shining bright, looking through the restaurant window it looks as if the place is dark and uninviting, yet my hunger pushed me to go inside and I'm seriously glad I did. Staping in, the first thing I've noticed is the beautiful trays of Parmigiano and lasagne in the cooling vitrine, and when the guy at the counter spoke with Italian accent, I knew this cannot go wrong. I ordered the lasagne which is served on a clay plate, wormed up in the oven (no microwave in the kitchen 👍) and the first thing I've tasted was the heavenly flavor of real tomatoes which later he told me he buys directly from Italy, I enjoyed it so much, I couldn't stop there, next I ordered the Parmigiano which knocked me out of this world. The flavors of fresh quality ingredients, fresh made pasta, was so good, I couldn't resist and ordered their homemade tiramisu and espresso which got me even closer to heaven. When it comes to recreating his grandmother recepties, this kind and friendly Italian guy knows no compromise and it definitely shows in all three dishes I've had. And last but not least, the place is clean, from the floor to the cutlery and glasses and even behind the counter. Two hours later, I'm still hype and excited from this delicious Italian experience. Next time I'll try the pizza, I already know it will be awesome.

The pizza was a bit too greasy for me, but the other dishes were spot on. Although the prices were slightly expensive, the dishes had good quality ingredients and were authentic.

Een normale rustig restaurant niet een luxe restaurant, maar dat maakt voor mij ook niet uit. Personeel was vriendelijk, eten was ook goed hier. En Hier wordt tenminste voor me gezicht geen bier gedronken, wat bij andere restaurant in Amsterdam wel gebeurt (vind ik eigenlijk niet kunnen in restaurant). Daarom ben ik tevreden over deze restaurant.

Very authentic italien pizza with high quality ingredients. I loved the cheese and the very thin but crunchy dough. One of the best pizzas I ever had. Price 14,50 Euro for a big pizza. Very nice owner who creates a personal and cozy atmosphere. PS: The handmade Tiramisu was amazing.

Just had a delicious dinner. They offered a wide variation of Pizzas from basic Margarita till goat cheese with truffle oil. Don't underestimate the restaurant because of the simple appearance. There is a cook who loves to make food. Bring enough hunger the pizza is beyond regular size.
