We really enjoyed the meal from the specials menu. Ordering drinks was sometimes a challenge; the ladies weren't looking around. It was busy, though. Fortunately, we could sit outside because it was very warm inside.

Terrible. You ask to have the small starter with the pizza immediately and then have to wait half an hour. Child knocks over iced tea just as it is being placed down, have to pay for a new one. Espresso and then a half-hour wait for the tiramisu. Writing down the cheapest pizza on the menu and charging for the most expensive one separately. WHAT BIZARRELY BAD SERVICE and 0.0 empathy and flexibility.

They bringed us 2 wrong dishes from 4 ordered dishes... also waiters wasn't nice at all.

We sat inside this pizzeria for a bit in the evening. Upon entering, 3 tables were empty, but there was even dirtier crockery on them. We were asked to wait at the bar for a moment. After 3 minutes, we were sent to our table. It was far from clean. Everything is also pushed onto the floor. Consequently, there is plenty of it lying on the floor. The bruschetta is a joke for a whopping €8. A toasted, burnt bread roll with sliced ​​cherry tomatoes on top. The pizza was relatively fine. Bar staff do not clear dirty tables, but do stand at the bar talking with friends. New customers are sent away or asked to take a seat outside, while inside 3 tables are empty, only occupied by dirtier crockery. And the prices are high for this quality.

After walking past here often, I had become very curious about the pizzas. I chose the Caprese Speciale pizza and the tiramisu for dessert. The pizza was fine, but the tiramisu (at nearly €9) was quite disappointing.

The pizzas are tasty, but unfortunately they didn't arrive warm this time and the toppings were disappointing; the service is mediocre. What I find most bizarre are the pizza prices: a simple salami pizza for almost €17 compared to €8.75 in 2018! Almost double, an annual increase of approx. 8.5%, while the average should be 3.1%.

No, never again! We have never eaten so badly. Pulled chicken was nowhere to be found, toppings were bad and very mediocre. Price-performance was not okay. Pizzas were all cold. The staff were mostly busy talking to each other. No, we are definitely skipping this restaurant.

Ordered pizza at the bar, but after 35 minutes still nothing. Lots of delivery drivers though. After 40 minutes we received an apology and a lukewarm pizza.

Wow! tbh, i didn‘t expect to much firstly, from the pictures available online. But, boy!!!! We ate margherita, funghi e pancetta and one signature pizza, something with spicy salami, red onions and stuff. No words! Delicious! It’s true, the service was not 10 out of 10, but we can understand - young personal, maybe tired, nothing intentional. If you want to eat a 11 out of 10 pizza, don’t hesitate to come in

Grabbed a bite to eat at the Haarlem branch last weekend. Super quality! Both the pizza and the service. Everything went smoothly, I highly recommend it!

Came here for a quick bite to eat and enjoy the summer evening, and was very deeply impressed by both the food and staff. Great pizza with burrata and a very well made Limoncello. Our server Birthe was kind hearted and accommodating and I enjoyed talking to Nick and the other staff as well. Overall a fantastic experience, and I'll happily return on my next visit to Haarlem. The gift card was not accepted; my daughter went out to eat for the first time. You are listed on the Dinner Cadeau website, so you simply have to accept that card. Even if you can't access the system for a moment because you don't know where you left the code, because that is not her fault. Instead, you chose to embarrass my daughter on the first day she goes out to eat. Bad business. Shame.

I ordered a Margherita pizza and a Burata salad through Thuisbezorgd. I've honestly never had such a bad pizza, and the Burata was crammed into a box and done... the pizza was like cardboard. Grills and shawarma places have much better pizza, this is truly scandalous.

Terrible experience with this branch in Haarlem. 1.Ordered a pizza for takeaway at the restaurant and waited 40 (!) minutes, only to get home and realise it wasn’t the pizza I ordered. 2.Ordered delivery another time — pizza with anchovies. Surprise, surprise: not a single anchovy on it. Please start doing the basics properly. Making the correct pizza and providing adequate service is really not rocket science.

The pizza base was soft and the edges were burnt. The toppings were very sparse. The bare crust was visible in many places. A supermarket frozen pizza has more toppings. The promised water wasn't brought; we had to ask for it again. We asked about the price of the wines. According to the waiter, it was pretty much the same for all bottles. Later, we discovered there was a 10 euro difference per bottle. When we paid, we were overcharged by 4 euros. Although they used to be very good, the quality has declined so much that this was the last time we ate there.

DO NOT order through Uber Eats because your pizzas will never arrive, but you'll still pay for them. No response via chat, no contact with the driver. Impossible. And the pizza makers won't intervene.

A charming pizzeria, but the crusts and edges were burnt black. The staff responded disinterestedly with, "Yeah, that's what happens with a brick oven." That's not true. The edges were also burnt, so they've been in there too long, or the temperature has been set too high to increase production.

For some reason, we had to eat here. The flavor is fine, but the pizza crust is soft and not crispy. I have a feeling that because of the crowds, the pizzas weren't in the oven long enough. Therefore, 3 stars. I'll try a pizzeria further away next time.

Get the Espresso Martini. Even if you've never had a martini before. 10/10 place

Unfortunately, the pizzas weren't what we were used to: hard and burnt. Disappointing!

First time eating here and it was reasonable. The staff was friendly, but I found the starter Melanzane alla Parmigiana tasteless and lukewarm, and my pizza Tartufo very tasteless and not used to these toppings, boiled egg!?!?! And the ham, no, really, an Italian would turn in their grave. So all in all reasonable because of the friendly staff... I did think it took a long time for my starter... if you have a reservation, you are (in my opinion) served quickly... but if you want to eat here quickly, I think that's difficult...

After waiting 25 minutes between ordering and receiving our pizzas, we decided to take our three pizzas home with us since we all had a meeting that evening. After the meeting, we ate our pizzas. One of the pizzas didn't have any extra prosciutto (which we paid for), one of the pizzas was completely black on the sides (the baker had already had to throw away five black pizzas because of this problem), and all the pizzas had little to no cheese. My friends and I often went here and to other pizza places, but unfortunately, this once-nice bistro is now going under as a chain.

Very tasty pizza, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, some guests had a dog with them that smelled quite bad. Unfortunately, we were seated next to them. These guests were probably also known to them, because one of the waitresses wasn't very professional around them. Otherwise, the food was just good.

The pizzas are average. The dough could be better in quality. My partner and I found it rather sloppy afterward. The waitress seemed visibly stressed and repeatedly forgot small things, like bringing cutlery, or didn't quite keep up with orders. It's possible that balancing delivery orders with on-site service is a bit of a challenge.

What an unexpected delight this was! We booked the combo deal with a movie at De Koepel, within walking distance. We had delicious pizza, good house wine, and very friendly service. We'll be back!

Last Monday I went with my daughter to ring in summer. The pizza makers make the most delicious pizzas. We were in Naples in May and tried many, but we keep coming back. The base is perfect, but it's also so nice that they choose quality toppings. From fennel salami and njuda to buffalo mozzarella. It's always hard to choose 😋 And as always, we save room for panna cotta. An Italian drink to go with it, and our summer is complete ☀️

In my opinion, De Pizzabakkers is the best pizzeria in Haarlem. The pizza is fresh, the base is crispy and not greasy. The drinks, such as the limoncello prosecco, are heavenly, as if you were in sunny Italy itself. The desserts are also top notch. The service is very approachable and the atmosphere is therefore great. In short, always a good location for pizza for young and old.

Update: After a disappointing order (which we left a negative review about), Margreet (see comment below) gave us two vouchers for pizzas at the restaurant. They were perfect, and the fennel salad was also delicious, just as we're used to in The Hague! We'll definitely be back.

Pick up, would take 7 minutes. After 15 minutes asked if they knew when the pizzas were ready. Turned out my pizzas were already ready and had been cooling for 8 minutes. Now eating a nice cold pizza.

Full disclosure, my one star for the food is pure speculation, as I never ate here, even though I tried my best. Stopped by this place today in person at 17:00 and made reservations for 7pm, and then went down the street for a beer. We returned to the restaurant at 7, they told us they had no reservations... I absolutely recognized the girl that took our reservations, but she just shrugged and told us she had no reservations for us. Very disappointed with this outfit, on the bright side, walked to the Grote Markt, and had a great burger at the Irish pub Tierney, go there instead. Heading back to NY on Sunday, I'll have my pizza there, better anyway.

Tasty pizza but very bad service.

Unpleasant and unprofessional experience. We had to wait ridiculously long for our food without any explanation, while people who came later were helped quickly. The staff seemed disinterested and disorganized. When we asked about the delay, we got evasive answers and an uninterested attitude. This kind of service is unacceptable — I will not come back here and I do not recommend it to anyone.

Extremely unprofessional and slow service. We waited far too long for our order, while other guests who arrived later were served before us. The staff seemed disorganized, untrained, and showed no sense of responsibility or courtesy. Not once did we receive an apology or a clear explanation. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of better restaurants where guests are treated with basic respect — this is not one of them.

We came to the pizzeria and were told they had a free table for us, but that we would need to leave by 7 PM because of a reservation. That was fine with us, as we thought an hour and a half would be more than enough time to sit, rest, and have a meal. However, we ended up waiting for our food for a full hour — and it never arrived. We ended up leaving without eating, having completely wasted our time. To make matters worse, we were there with two small children. Extremely unprofessional staff and a major oversight. Very disappointing experience.

Came today with family and their children, from start they told us that we have one and a half hour to finish. That suited us so we took a seat. Everything was fine up until an hour passed by and when we saw that everyone that came after us got served before us. When we asked staff what is happening and when we figure it out with chef that it was not even ordered we wanted to go and told that this was unacceptable. They wasted an hour of our time. Worst people ever. Would recommended to skip this place.

1 star as zero is not an option. Waited for an hour for pizzas with 2 small kids while everyone who got there after us got served. Asked what was happening a few times, but got no answer. After giving up on waiting, instead of offering at least drinks on the house, they threatened to call the police if we didn't pay for what we never got, after admitting they never even ordered it in the kitchen. Shameful

Delicious pizzas and super nice, fast service

The pizza’s were delicious. The restaurant was very hot inside and unfortunately we were not able to move outside. So I, (instead of the waitress) suggested they open the windows. Luckily that was allowed and the other guests were pleased as well. When I asked about the Aperitivo deal which I had seen many many times advertised on social media, the waitress shrugged her shoulders and had no idea what it was about, also didn’t suggest finding out. So we found out ourselves and it turned out you pay an extra €4 for your Aperol Spritz and then you get some olives and bruschetta. A bit disappointing as on SM it was advertised “just like in Italy” where this is free after 1800 hrs.

As soon as I entered the cozy pizzeria, the aroma of garlic and baked dough immediately caught my attention. The Margherita pizza had a perfectly blistered crust, balanced with tangy tomato sauce and soft mozzarella. A touch of olive oil and fresh basil made it even more delicious. The Tiramisu Mascarpone was creamy, the espresso was strong, and the sweetness was just right

Ridiculous, I order with uber eats, the problem is clearly theirs and they say they can't do anything that it's uber eats' fault. Learn to manage systems and learn. Among other things, I get the call hung up in my face by a guy who only wishes me a good evening. Poor service and communication.

Without a reservation we were able to get a table from the lovely ladies of the service. Bruschette, Pizza Tartufo (mozzarella, cooked ham, truffle cream sauce, egg and parsley) and Pizza Caprese (tomato, mozzarella, green pesto, buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil). Panna Cotta (vanilla cream pudding with red fruit sauce), a feast for the taste buds!

Really lovely pizzas - thin base and great choice of toppings - we finished everything. The pistachio ice cream was delicious!! Child friendly restaurant, the 'play dough' was a nice touch. Wij hadden een film en pizza deal. De deal is 9 euro per pizza, vooruitbetaald via de film kaartjes. Niks mis met de pizza, maar wel met de nota. 2 spa rood € 7,00, toeslag voor de pizza naar eigen keuze €3,50 en cappuccino €3,80 opgeteld is dit geen €24,20. Ik heb ook de bon nog. Vreemde optelsom De medewerkster probeerde er onder uit te komen door te vertellen dat er verschillende deals waren met de bioscoop, dit klopt van geen kant. Ook liep zij weg tijdens het bespreken hiervan om andere klanten te helpen en liet ons zitten. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

Not the best staff, but good pizzas! Made a reservation at 6:00 PM, group of 6, after not being seen we asked ourselves if we could order... after half an hour... including drinks... In addition, we had been called earlier that day whether we could keep a time slot until 8:00 PM, no problem for us :) We were not asked if we wanted to taste the wine... After everything was delivered, everything became warm. In addition, you sit really VERY close together, one time I leaned my head back and I was pulling hair with another woman. This used to be my favorite place for pizza in Haarlem. Now I have to find a new place. The pizza dough used to be thin and crispy. They had a guy who had worked there for 8 years and he was obviously the only one who could make really good pizza. Maybe in time the other staff will figure it out. The staff are very sweet and do their best but maybe need some help. The toppings and salads are still great.

Pizzas arrive before your drink. Nice service but have no idea how or what. The pizza makers do a good job and make delicious pizza. However, the staff does not know what they are selling and the homemade drinks (homemade ice tea) are soda stream syrup diluted with water. A very bad cut and not drinkable. Soda stream perfect for sparkling water but don't sell it as homemade ice tea. The 0.0 cocktails are also not drinkable. Ordered parmigiana melanzana first thing this evening and it was already sold out. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Everything is delicious! This time we took the pizza of the month: carnivore pizza with lots of spicy meats. As far as I'm concerned, this pizza can be permanently on the menu! As usual, we also had a scroppino and a panna cotta with caramel sauce. Always superrrrr!

We were at the restaurant at 6:00 PM. We ordered at 6:30 PM, but the food didn't arrive until 7:25 PM. We went to a play and thought we had plenty of time, but because the food took so long, we suddenly had to rush. The people around us had already finished their food when we got ours, while they came in later. Due to the crowds and chaos, our order probably fell through the cracks: it can happen. But something like “sorry” or explaining what was going on would have been nice. We only finally got a carafe of water after asking four times... In the end we were all allowed a drink on the house. Nice, but we didn't need that and especially didn't have time: we had to go to a play. Everything was charged at checkout. It would have been nice if our first drinks had been taken off the bill, but that also went wrong. I had already paid and, when I pointed it out, the young lady wanted to do something about it, but I left it at that. It was only going to lead to even more hassle and we had to run to our play. So all in all a huge disappointment and it affected our entire evening out.

De Pizzabakkers always guarantees success! But the pizza was really lukewarm in temperature. According to the waitress, this made sense because a number of ingredients were placed cold on the baked pizza. I don't think that's appropriate because the soil was also lukewarm. Still, we left a tip because it was very tasty. And the wine she had chosen for us tasted perfect.
