Ate here again after a long time. The pizza chef was preparing everything with his bare hands at the window. The salami pizza was way too salty. I ate a quarter of it. I'll never come back here again.

We got the Prosciutto pizza and it was amazing. Dont miss trying the oils, my favoritenwas the soanish pepper! I also had the Menabrea dark beer, and i loved it, it is like a brown ale taste, I recommend it.

Terrible place. It started off well with friendly service and a delicious appetizer, but then everything went completely wrong. We ordered pizzas for the whole table right along with our appetizer, which weren't served for another hour and a half. Meanwhile, we watched the Thuisbezorgd orders flying out the door non-stop. As if that wasn't enough, a scuffle broke out at the entrance, with a staff member cursing at a customer in a highly antisocial manner. She even stormed into the restaurant, cursing, to the astonishment of everyone present. The atmosphere completely changed, and all around us we heard people complaining about the extremely long wait times. When our pizza finally arrived, it was burnt. After sending it back, we received a new one, but it was tasteless and so wet that the water from the vegetables literally dripped off. 0/0: Would not recommend.

I don't recommend this restaurant. After waiting an hour and a half, I didn't see any pizza. If you confront the staff about this, they treat you disrespectfully and don't offer any solutions. I won't be going back, it's a shame.

Waited over an hour for five pizzas... I recognize my predecessor's review that deliveries take precedence over tables in the restaurant... This place used to be great, new owner? Hopeless, and the last time I've been here! Anyone who thinks the lady behind the counter takes responsibility... you're mistaken... you can get a big mouth...👌 Great... very professional!! Definitely not recommended. And finally... damn, three people got sick last night, even from the one pizza we did get... My son had to go to work and in the meantime, a boxed pizza was slipped in front of him, so we all ate some. That's going great!!!😡

Ordered 5 pizzas at 7:00 PM, still not 1 pizza on the table at 8:15 PM. Pizzas for home delivery were sent out one after the other. We just left. We have always eaten here before without any complaints. Such a shame to end the day like this.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! This is the last time we'll be back!! Disorganized mess!!! After 45 minutes, still no pizza. The delivery pizzas kept going out, but no one in the restaurant was getting any food. OUTRAGEOUS!!! Finally, we left.

The pizza was delivered cold! And to add another review, the last time the pizza was burnt! That's not what I expect from Venice.

After a 50-minute wait (the pizzas for home delivery apparently have priority) in a restaurant that was completely overflowing (all clothes could go in the wash), 3 out of 5 pizzas were burnt on the table. With apologies from a young man who clearly has a part-time job and is clearly uncomfortable with the long waits and the condition of the pizzas, the bill was paid without the person in charge bothering to address the very visible, upside-down, uneaten, burnt pizza on our plates... simply not enough and absolutely not recommended on a busy Friday night like this... a shame.

Ordered 4 x pasta tuna and honestly it was the best pasta we have ever eaten, thank you Venezia for the delicious food

What a cozy little restaurant! A friendly atmosphere and very friendly staff. The pizza chef took the time to let our child create his own pizza. Of course, the most important thing is the taste of the food. Well, it was absolutely delicious! This is partly due to the fresh ingredients used. And there was a wide selection of wines to complement the food. In short, a top-notch place!

No service. We asked for a menu, but it wasn't given. They weren't helpful. Never go. They wave their hands and make fun of us.

This is the best pizza restaurant, dine in available, neat and clean, they make custom pizza, no onion, no garlic option available. Per request chef made vegetarian pizza and he washed hand and cleaned preparation table for us. They accommodated us very well. We drove 30 minutes for the pizza. We flew to Netherlands from USA. We had a delicious meal at Venezia in the charming center of Haarlem. Friendly service and a view of the kitchen where the pizzas are freshly prepared. The desserts, tiramisu and coppa della casa, were also delicious.

I dined at this lovely restaurant four nights and was delighted with both the food and the service. The lemon scallops and Roman-style saltimbocca were excellent. The owner is Italian, and his son, the pizza chef, is named Danilo like me. Both were very kind.

We had different pizzas and had to wait for over an hour. Meanwhile, the delivery service was running smoothly: one driver after another picked up stacks of pizzas for delivery. Unfortunately, both pizzas were truly bland. The pizza dough was nice and thin, but completely soggy in the middle of the pizzas, due to the toppings, but at least the outside was crispy. But completely tasteless. The toppings didn't help either. We almost used up the garlic and pepperoni oil and even added more salt to make it taste good. The servers repeatedly apologized for the delay, but they didn't even offer a free drink. If it had at least been tasty, the wait wouldn't have been so bad. As it was, it was a waste of time AND bland food.

Very friendly waiters, a lovely atmosphere, and delicious food at a great price! We had the dish of the day, spaghetti with olive oil and mussels, which was absolutely fantastic, and they provided hand wipes.

Awesome food and the owner and his service gave it an extra special touch!

A small and often full pizzeria in the heart of the beautiful little town of Haarlem. Booking in advance is recommended. This is an authentic Italian restaurant, apparently run by brothers, one cooking and the other one taking care of table service. The service was "straightforward" in the Italian way, but a few words of Italian I knew immediately made the atmosphere more immediate and elicited thanks and smiles :) Unfortunately, we only had time to try the pizzas here and although they were in the shape of a sympathetic heart, the "flatbread" was a bit small for my taste. A small minus, but actually the 4 stars I gave is 4.5 stars, because the flavors were very good. The parking arrangements around the place are free, as in the Dutch way, but there are limited spaces and they are - as in the Dutch way - usually full. It doesn't help that the street in front is a one-way street and the only way to get back to the place to grab a free parking space is to go around the ridiculous almost 3km around the city center. In addition, the road is very busy and blocked by buses, so you have to find a space almost immediately, otherwise there will be another round :( In addition, some parking spaces are somehow restricted (we never figured out the signs) and the parking enforcement seemed to be roaming around a lot despite a public holiday. Our own parking was left a bit "up to interpretation" and we just managed to get out when a heated debate about a recent parking ticket was already going on a few spaces away :D It might be wiser to park your car somewhere else and walk the last few hundred meters to the place. The old town is beautiful to walk through and the restaurant is worth it. I highly recommend it.

We stumbled in here, hungry and tired. We were greeted warmly by the young proprietor and sobered a lovely seat by the window. Thier gluten free pizza is one of the best I've had and my friend said her regular pizza with wheat was great too. The wine offerings by the glass are respectable and the wine quality good. Service is excellent and friendly. My only regret is that I will not soon be in Haarlem again so I cannot return here. If you are in Haarlem, please stop by this gem of a restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch and were easantly surprised! Outstanding food, the pizza was in the shape of a heart! The service was beyond excellent; Daniel, the owner's son, was charming and attentive. There is also a lovely outdoor eating area as well. Don't miss Venezia!

Great little place, charming multi lingual server, delicious food, even glutenfree spaghetti which is unusual. My coeliac friend was in heaven. Even my two Italian guests were completely happy. I have been coming here all my life (that is very long..). Please, please never change anything. We love everything about it. It was empty, it being late on Monday night. But you could be on your own and still be completely happy....

Ordered pizza Capricosa. That's ham with mushrooms. I think the ham came from the AH or something. Thick slices of ham. Shame

What a great restaurant this is. After the Urban Walk I had a nice dinner here with my downstairs neighbor. Helped by a very friendly employee. The pizza chef was also very friendly. The food was really tasty. From the starter to the dessert. I would recommend everyone to go here.

Ristorante Pizzeria Venezia’s pizzas are truly special. They are crispy and generously topped with fresh ingredients. I had the Funghi pizza with Mozzarella di Bufala, and my boyfriend had the New Venice pizza ( it is not on the menu ) with truffle mortadella, and stracciatella. Oh man, they were just soOoo delicious—I can’t even describe them in words! The chef is incredibly friendly and clearly loves his job, which makes the pizzas even more amazing. We highly recommend this place! ❤️😋

My wife and I stopped in on a whim, And I had the best meal I've had so far after 6 months ish of living in Europe.

Had a carpaccio beforehand. This one was ice cold. That wasn't nice. I think it came from the freezer. And the pizza Calzone was not what I am used to. Very thin, few ingredients and rock hard crusts that you couldn't get through with your knife. Very unfortunate. This used to be a top tent. Not recommended.

Phenomenal. You can see everyone working there is passionate about the restaurant. What a breath of fresh air in the Netherlands. This is one of the most authentic italian restaurants here I have been! We tried the caprese, caneloni, and pizza and everything was incredible (specially the tomato sauce) also INCREDIBLE price for the quality of food they present you. Ingredients fresh and you can actually see the chef making the dough at the entrance. The vibe of the restaurant is so authentic and completely transports you. Has gluten free options!! Definitely recommend. You will not regret it!

A no fuss easy casual meal - Bruschetta, 3 pasta and 1 pizza, wine and beer. All enjoyable . Our waiter and the pizza chef were very pleasant and helpful. The money person not as friendly but they did not ruin the meal. Would return for a quick cheap eat

I had a pizza Napoletana, very tasty, highly recommended, service was also very fast. The only point of interest is the location where I was in the restaurant and the time I was here I was blown away by the air conditioning on heating mode, everyone's eyes in my group became irritated. Apart from that, highly recommended

Had dinner with my friend in the restaurant on Saturday evening. The pizza was very good, nice glass of white wine, cozy environment even if somewhat cramped. But I found the service a bit less. I wanted another dessert but the waiter asked if we wanted another cup of coffee. I didn't think that was very nice. There were still plenty of places available even though it was full.

Been here before and always been satisfied, both takeaway and eat in. This time everything was very inadequate. Firstly, I received a normal pizza, even though I had ordered a gluten-free pizza. Luckily I found out right away (gluten intolerant) and got a new pizza. After dinner I wanted to order a dessert, the owner didn't know if the dessert was gluten-free and when I asked if he could check in the kitchen, this was his answer: 'who should I ask?' It's antisocial that I didn't order anything anymore. The bill then stated that I had to pay €5 extra for a gluten-free base, while the menu says €2.50. When I said something about this, I was told by the owner that it is far too expensive for him to offer a gluten-free base and that he still has to change the menu. Doesn't really seem like my problem. After a few insistences by friends and I, it was finally taken off the bill. The same thing happened to the family at the table next to us. In addition, it was very difficult throughout the evening to get the attention of the wait staff to order drinks, for example, and on several occasions this did not go well the first time. The food tasted good, but I am no longer a customer here.

We entered this place by chance while wandering around Harlem. All the pizzas were delicious and thin crust. You can definitely try them.

The food was average. The managers, which are probably the owners, were rude and impolite, not respecting their customers time and boundaries.

We were passing through, looked at the city, got hungry and came across the Italian restaurant. The pizza maker let the pizza cakes fly in the window and we thought we had to try a pizza. Our choice was not regretted. So far we have only eaten better pizza at the campsite on Lake Garda - and we have often eaten pizza in Italy 🙈. The pizzas were large, super tasty, thin and crispy in the middle, not soggy. The carpaccio was also delicious. The staff is young, dynamic, friendly and courteous. In short - we had a delicious dinner, were fully satisfied and absolutely satisfied with the price-performance ratio. If we come to Haarlem again, we will definitely stop at Ristorante Venezia. So we can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

Hele fijne ervaring. Goed personeel in de bediening. Leuk om de pizzabakker achter het raam aan het werk te zien. Eerst genoten van een salade caprese met brood en kruidenboter. Daarna echt een heerlijke pizza Trulli gegeten waarbij twee lekkere oliën worden geserveerd. Afgesloten met een heerlijke huisgemaakte limoncello. Ik heb ervan genoten.

Very good help choosing a pizza (I always have doubts). Got a pizza with 4 different parts!!! So sweet. Enjoyed it completely with an Italian specialty beer.

Very sweet staff who scored a 10, our son was the chef and was fully learning, a hard-working young man who will get there. Here's a learning moment; Unfortunately, our main course for four people did not come right away and the salmon calzone pizza contained very little salmon. Still a 7 and that will be a 9 next time.
