Really great pizzas, went here after the F1 GP and was a short walk from the station. Amazing and friendly service.

Excellent homemade pasta and pizzas! Top-notch and friendly service. Very reasonable prices, dishes average €15. You can go there without hesitation.

Good gluten-free options for pizza and pasta. Very nice. A small but above all authentic restaurant that has been a household name among locals for many years. Friendly, hospitable staff who are flexible and adapt to customer wishes. Waiting times depend heavily on the time of day. Between 5 and 6 pm it is fine; after that, it gets busier and the small kitchen simply doesn't have the capacity to be quick. If you keep this in mind, Venezia will never disappoint you. Spartan (authentic!) furniture and yes, the ventilation could be a little better in the winter (oven), but that is just part of the experience when you eat here. In short, a nice restaurant with delicious food.

By far the best spaghetti Bolognese I’ve had in the Netherlands! The sauce was wonderfully rich and flavourful, the portion was generous, and everything tasted fresh and authentically Italian. The lovely atmosphere and friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommended – I would definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top Service!

Nice little Italian restaurant. Staff were friendly. Food wasn’t special and quite bland. However, loved the fact it was fresh pasta and not store bought ones. Parmigiano unfortunately didn’t taste fresh (previously prepared and freshly baked only).

Delicious Italian food. I'm already on my 8th pizza. The first one arrived a bit crumpled. The delivery driver delivered the food quickly, like Rambo. For the next pizza, I just mentioned in the comments that it tasted good and asked if a center stand could be placed on it. The pizzas after that all arrived perfectly and were very tasty, without me being upset even once. I can well imagine that things might go wrong once in a while. It is often very busy, so I can imagine that if you order five different dishes for five people, something could go wrong. Although I absolutely haven't experienced that with Venezia myself yet.

25 years ago, I ate pizza here with the love of my life, always combined with a visit to the cinema. It had been on my bucket list for years to go dining here with the love of my life again. I made a spontaneous reservation today and experienced the Italian atmosphere in a memorable way once more. Top class Venezia👍🏻👍🏻

Had a delicious meal at this small, cozy, busy pizzeria. The chefs were constantly baking pizzas, so we had to wait a bit longer. However, that was not a problem. The Pizza Calzone was delicious, and the gluten-free pizza was also fine. A generously filled glass of wine and friendly service. Definitely recommended.

The food was exceptionally bad. I ordered pesto pasta and it felt like pesto “gravy” pasta. It was literally full of pasta water and had no taste. We also ordered Caprese salad which was another disaster. They simply put together onion, a few olives, huge chunks of tomatoes and that’s it. When I asked where is mozzarella and basil, they said this is how it is supposed to be. On top of it, when you ask for tap water they simply say no (what do they and their staff drink the whole day!!). This place is a complete rip off.

The feeling is that you are in a family restaurant in Italy. Service and taste - perfect!

Passing through Haarlem and tired of eating Dutch food, we decided to try Italian food, contrary to our usual habits. We stumbled upon this pizzeria by chance and stopped in. The very kind owner welcomed us even though it was almost closing time. The pizza was good: both the dough and the ingredients. It's on par with many pizzas you'll find in Italy. The coffee was also good. Another very positive aspect was the friendliness and kindness of the young owner, a Dutch man with an Italian father. We highly recommend it.

Great little italian place in haarlem centre. Easy to get to, english and dutch menus. Waiters spoke english dutch french maybe more. Had penne pesto and icecream with oranges for desert and a lemon peroni. Great friendly servers and good price. Would definitely go again. Apologies for no photo, forgot. Also note to servers if you saw me pulling faces at the food, the ice cream was setting off a newfound dental issue, nothing wrong with the food 🤣

Small Italian restaurant with authentic Italian specialties. I had a Quattro Stagioni pizza. The dough was delicious, and the flavors were well-balanced. All in all, a very enjoyable meal. The only downside was the time it took for the food to be served. However, this was understandable; we were a group of 15. This is something to keep in mind for large groups.

Extraordinarily cozy and romantic place! And delicious pizzas, of course!

There is not enough space for comfortable seating. When people need to pass, physical contact is almost unavoidable. The waitstaff also have very limited space to move and serve food, which affects the overall experience. The service was not particularly friendly or welcoming, although the food itself was good. More generally, I have noticed that in the Netherlands there is often little attention given to comfort, space, and restroom quality, which can be disappointing.

This was without a doubt one of the worst restaurants we've been to recently. The smoke was extremely thick; our eyes burned and our throats hurt. The pizza oven was constantly running, and the ventilation was extremely poor. Our order also took a very long time. Pizzas were constantly being sent out for takeout and delivery, but our order of two pizzas and one pasta wasn't delivered for almost an hour and a half. Despite asking twice, we were only told it was busy and that it was on its way. The young waiter was friendly, but it was very annoying that, even though the restaurant wasn't even that full, takeout orders were prioritized over seated diners. I definitely wouldn't go here again, especially in the evening. When we finally asked for the bill, they offered us coffee, but because they hadn't paid much attention to us up until that point, we declined and left.

Ordered a pizza for delivery at 6:10 PM. Around 6:50 PM, two pizzas were delivered, including my calzone. It was severely burned. I called to complain and was told it would be passed on to the kitchen. I repeatedly asked what that meant for us, and was finally asked if we wanted a refund or something else. I indicated we wanted to eat, so we wanted another chance. After about 30 minutes, I received another calzone. It was again partially burned and had insignificant fillings. No ham, no salami, nothing, etc. My appetite had vanished by then. NEVER AGAIN.

Reserved for Boxing Day. We will arrive closed.

Ate here again after a long time. The pizza chef was preparing everything with his bare hands at the window. The salami pizza was way too salty. I ate a quarter of it. I'll never come back here again.

We got the Prosciutto pizza and it was amazing. Dont miss trying the oils, my favoritenwas the soanish pepper! I also had the Menabrea dark beer, and i loved it, it is like a brown ale taste, I recommend it.

Ordered 5 pizzas at 7:00 PM, still not 1 pizza on the table at 8:15 PM. Pizzas for home delivery were sent out one after the other. We just left. We have always eaten here before without any complaints. Such a shame to end the day like this.

Waited over an hour for five pizzas... I recognize my predecessor's review that deliveries take precedence over tables in the restaurant... This place used to be great, new owner? Definitely not recommended. And finally... damn, three people got sick last night, even from the one pizza we did get... My son had to go to work and in the meantime, a boxed pizza was slipped in front of him, so we all ate some. That's going great!!!😡

I don't recommend this restaurant. After waiting an hour and a half, I didn't see any pizza. If you confront the staff about this, they treat you disrespectfully and don't offer any solutions. I won't be going back, it's a shame.

Terrible place. It started off well with friendly service and a delicious appetizer, but then everything went completely wrong. We ordered pizzas for the whole table right along with our appetizer, which weren't served for another hour and a half. Meanwhile, we watched the Thuisbezorgd orders flying out the door non-stop. As if that wasn't enough, a scuffle broke out at the entrance, with a staff member cursing at a customer in a highly antisocial manner. She even stormed into the restaurant, cursing, to the astonishment of everyone present. The atmosphere completely changed, and all around us we heard people complaining about the extremely long wait times. When our pizza finally arrived, it was burnt. After sending it back, we received a new one, but it was tasteless and so wet that the water from the vegetables literally dripped off. 0/0: Would not recommend.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! This is the last time we'll be back!! Disorganized mess!!! After 45 minutes, still no pizza. The delivery pizzas kept going out, but no one in the restaurant was getting any food. OUTRAGEOUS!!! Finally, we left.

The pizza was delivered cold! And to add another review, the last time the pizza was burnt! That's not what I expect from Venice.

After a 50-minute wait (the pizzas for home delivery apparently have priority) in a restaurant that was completely overflowing (all clothes could go in the wash), 3 out of 5 pizzas were burnt on the table. With apologies from a young man who clearly has a part-time job and is clearly uncomfortable with the long waits and the condition of the pizzas, the bill was paid without the person in charge bothering to address the very visible, upside-down, uneaten, burnt pizza on our plates... simply not enough and absolutely not recommended on a busy Friday night like this... a shame.

Ordered 4 x pasta tuna and honestly it was the best pasta we have ever eaten, thank you Venezia for the delicious food

What a cozy little restaurant! A friendly atmosphere and very friendly staff. The pizza chef took the time to let our child create his own pizza. Of course, the most important thing is the taste of the food. Well, it was absolutely delicious! This is partly due to the fresh ingredients used. And there was a wide selection of wines to complement the food. In short, a top-notch place!

No service. We asked for a menu, but it wasn't given. They weren't helpful. Never go. They wave their hands and make fun of us.

This is the best pizza restaurant, dine in available, neat and clean, they make custom pizza, no onion, no garlic option available. Per request chef made vegetarian pizza and he washed hand and cleaned preparation table for us. They accommodated us very well. We drove 30 minutes for the pizza. We flew to Netherlands from USA. Thank you Ristorante Pizzeria Venezia. Highly recommend place to be for best pizza……

We had a delicious meal at Venezia in the charming center of Haarlem. Friendly service and a view of the kitchen where the pizzas are freshly prepared. The desserts, tiramisu and coppa della casa, were also delicious.

I dined at this lovely restaurant four nights and was delighted with both the food and the service. The lemon scallops and Roman-style saltimbocca were excellent. The owner is Italian, and his son, the pizza chef, is named Danilo like me. Both were very kind.

We had different pizzas and had to wait for over an hour. Meanwhile, the delivery service was running smoothly: one driver after another picked up stacks of pizzas for delivery. Unfortunately, both pizzas were truly bland. The pizza dough was nice and thin, but completely soggy in the middle of the pizzas, due to the toppings, but at least the outside was crispy. But completely tasteless. The toppings didn't help either. We almost used up the garlic and pepperoni oil and even added more salt to make it taste good. The servers repeatedly apologized for the delay, but they didn't even offer a free drink. If it had at least been tasty, the wait wouldn't have been so bad. As it was, it was a waste of time AND bland food.

Tastiest pizza in Haarlem and friendly employees.

A small and often full pizzeria in the heart of the beautiful little town of Haarlem. Booking in advance is recommended. This is an authentic Italian restaurant, apparently run by brothers, one cooking and the other one taking care of table service. The service was "straightforward" in the Italian way, but a few words of Italian I knew immediately made the atmosphere more immediate and elicited thanks and smiles :) Unfortunately, we only had time to try the pizzas here and although they were in the shape of a sympathetic heart, the "flatbread" was a bit small for my taste. A small minus, but actually the 4 stars I gave is 4.5 stars, because the flavors were very good. The parking arrangements around the place are free, as in the Dutch way, but there are limited spaces and they are - as in the Dutch way - usually full. It doesn't help that the street in front is a one-way street and the only way to get back to the place to grab a free parking space is to go around the ridiculous almost 3km around the city center. In addition, the road is very busy and blocked by buses, so you have to find a space almost immediately, otherwise there will be another round :( In addition, some parking spaces are somehow restricted (we never figured out the signs) and the parking enforcement seemed to be roaming around a lot despite a public holiday. Our own parking was left a bit "up to interpretation" and we just managed to get out when a heated debate about a recent parking ticket was already going on a few spaces away :D It might be wiser to park your car somewhere else and walk the last few hundred meters to the place. The old town is beautiful to walk through and the restaurant is worth it. I highly recommend it.

We stumbled in here, hungry and tired. We were greeted warmly by the young proprietor and sobered a lovely seat by the window. Thier gluten free pizza is one of the best I've had and my friend said her regular pizza with wheat was great too. The wine offerings by the glass are respectable and the wine quality good. Service is excellent and friendly. My only regret is that I will not soon be in Haarlem again so I cannot return here. If you are in Haarlem, please stop by this gem of a restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch and were easantly surprised! Outstanding food, the pizza was in the shape of a heart! The service was beyond excellent; Daniel, the owner's son, was charming and attentive. There is also a lovely outdoor eating area as well. Don't miss Venezia!

Great little place, charming multi lingual server, delicious food, even glutenfree spaghetti which is unusual. My coeliac friend was in heaven. Even my two Italian guests were completely happy. I have been coming here all my life (that is very long..). Please, please never change anything. We love everything about it. It was empty, it being late on Monday night. But you could be on your own and still be completely happy....

Ordered pizza Capricosa. That's ham with mushrooms. I think the ham came from the AH or something. Thick slices of ham. Shame
