By far one of the best pizza restaurants I have ever eaten at. You can taste the quality of the pizza and the staff is welcoming. We will definitely be back here again.

We recently sat on the terrace at De Pizzabakkers, and it was really great! Super friendly service and the pizzas were delicious 😄

First of all, it took quite a long time before I was served, and we had to wait well over an hour for our food. We aren't difficult, but unfortunately the pizza was also burnt, making it too hard to eat. I pointed this out, but unfortunately nothing more was done about it than offering a drink on the house. Fine, but we were still left with empty stomachs. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back here.

Beautiful and immersing pizza place, good and fast service. Unfortunately the pizza has nothing to do with an Italian pizza, the base looks like deepfried and then placed in the oven. The amount of oil coming out is really too much and unnecessary and it's also almost unsalted

Top-notch service! The staff really thinks along with you about what to order and gives good recommendations. Even though we were a group of seven, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The dishes were tasty and served neatly. Our table was also cleared quickly each time, ensuring everything remained clean and tidy. The service was friendly and attentive. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Definitely recommended; we would love to come back here again!

Yesterday I attended the Italian evening. A collaboration between De Pizzabakkers and Tchin Tchin. We had a delicious meal (especially the wonderful desserts) with good wines. A nice atmosphere, sitting together at a long table with 30 other guests. Absolutely worth repeating.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I have never eaten such a bad pizza in my life. For €17.90, you expect at least a decent pizza, but this was a huge disappointment. The dough didn't look like pizza dough at all, but like bread dough, and was rock hard. The cheese tasted like it was covered in plastic. All in all, the pizza was simply inedible. I noticed they didn't have a Quattro Formaggi, but a Cinque Formaggi. I already thought that was a strange choice for a pizzeria, but I decided to give it a chance anyway. In hindsight, I regret it. I felt it was a waste to just throw away €17.90, so I tried to eat the pizza. But after two bites, I really couldn't eat any more. In the end, I threw the whole pizza away. I thought: it's busy here, so it must be a good pizzeria. Unfortunately, that turned out to be absolutely not the case. For this amount, I would have preferred a simple toasted sandwich; that would probably have been tastier. Never again for me. A waste of money.

The food itself was okay, but the staff here is super rude and they added all kinds of extra things to my pizza that I didn't want. It was also full of annoying families who let their screaming children run loose. Save your money and time.

Was being told in front of everyone that I’ve not paid the bill when I paid it through bank transfer, little embarrassing. Waiting time is long.

Now, for the third time in a row within 8 weeks, we have sat waiting for a terribly long time (read: longer than 45 minutes), drinks at least 15 minutes. For the pizzas today—deliberately without a starter—we even waited 55 minutes. People next to us waited for over an hour for their pizza. The pizzas themselves are delicious, but there is just something wrong with the system. Which system? Boxes and boxes, sometimes 20 of them, pass by to be picked up, but the guests on the terrace are complaining about the long waiting times. That is simply unacceptable. Do something about it! The service is friendly but they do nothing with the feedback. The answer that things didn't go so well today unfortunately no longer holds true, and the manager is unapproachable because she is helping out in the kitchen. For the time being, we've had enough; it's a shame because the food itself is delicious.

Ordered way before closing time, never arrived, order cancelled without any further notice. Shame.

We decided to go out for dinner at the last minute on a Tuesday evening, and that was no problem at all. We were served well, even without a reservation. The service was cheerful and efficient, which created a great atmosphere for the evening. And most importantly: as a celiac patient, I could order a pizza without any worries. Gluten-free dining is well organized here, so you can simply enjoy yourself without the usual stress about ingredients or cross-contamination. In short: a relaxed evening, friendly staff, and a good gluten-free pizza.

It was pleasantly busy at the Leidsche Rijn branch. The tables are a bit small and the chairs somewhat uncomfortable. The staff welcomes you and serves you quickly. Thijs served at our table and was very attentive, creating a good atmosphere. Choosing is difficult because there are quite a few other pizzas on the menu as standard. And then, the pizzas arrived; they looked delicious. The dough is delicious at the edges but soft and almost absent in the middle, and the tuna pizza has no cheese—well, a few lumps of buffalo mozzarella... that is a miss... also, the tuna is not very prominent. The 'nduja-gorgonzola pizza, on the other hand, was a delicious choice, well-balanced. What strikes me is that the ingredients are applied rather sparingly to the pizzas while the price is steep. However, the ingredients are of good quality. It was a success for me and my company, but I fear I won't be able to take a real Italian here.

I highly recommend the excellent Italian cuisine here, we typically order their pizzas, which are always very delicious

Pizzas aren't bad, done crunchy crust. I had a pizza with gorgonzola, but didn't find it very flavorful. The flavors themselves are fine, but not prominent enough. Furthermore, the service isn't quite right with large groups; pizzas were forgotten and drinks sometimes took a very long time to arrive. Otherwise, they are very friendly and helpful.

Fast, tasty, and good. We wanted a quick bite to eat and it was handled well. Nice terrace too.

Had an incredibly delicious meal! Highly recommended, the pastry is sublime, and the flavors are truly top-notch. Normally, at other places, the taste is often just not quite right or 'almost' right. But this is truly amazing!

Up until now, I have always been a fan of the Pizzabakkers, but here in LRC, where I have been more often, the quality has really declined. What used to be a good stone oven pizza is now completely uninteresting; poorly baked. I went here today with my son, for the last time for a while.

Ordered a few pizza's for pick up. I'd ordered the gialla & burrata with njudia and this pizza is supposed to have artichokes on them and my pizza didn't have a single artichoke on it. The place was very busy and chaotic. Hence, I think they just forgot to add the artichoke on my pizza but it's not a reason for them to forget something as the pizza's are on the expensive side. The pizza tasted good, but I didn't get what I ordered

Big fan of Pizzabakkers. Great place with delicious pizzas, and the best part is that in all three of the places I've been, the owners are always there to help, which I consider a plus! Delicious pizzas, and it's great that if you want a gluten-free or vegetarian pizza, it's always possible; they're happy to help. Keep up the good work!

I love truffle sauce, but this is truly too much. I love cheese, but not when the base is all fat. A disappointing experience for a lot of money.

Good thin crust pizza and it's very nice for them to offer kids some pizza dough to play with. They also have various crafty drinks on the menu. Only minor point is that the waiting time is rather long considering there are only two tables they need to serve.

I ate at the restaurant here, and there was no cutlery at the table, and none were offered. So I took it from another table. The pizza was made wafer-thin. Afterward, I heard a nasty/discriminatory remark from the staff about something like "kapsalon" (a type of pizza). You'll never see me here again. People with a Muslim background should never eat here!!! You're simply being discriminated against!!

I picked up six pizzas last Sunday evening. They were incredibly thin and mostly burnt. As a result, they tasted more like burnt crackers. There were also very few toppings. Such a shame, as they used to be better here.

I placed an order on the website, but nowhere was it clearly indicated that it was for pickup only. Google Maps sent me straight to the order page, so I completely missed that information. After waiting an hour, I called to find out they didn't deliver, and no one even bothered to contact me to let me know. When I picked up the pizza, it had been reheated, but the burrata—which the website said would be delivered separately—had already been added to the pizza and had melted. Moreover, when I got home, the pizza was already cold again. It's a shame the communication was so unclear.

We ordered pizzas and focaccia but unfortunately the bottom of all of them had lots of burned semola. We experienced it something similar when eating there and I had to ask them to clean the oven before making our pizzas. I don’t understand why they don’t do it more frequently.

Delicious pizzas and tasty drinks‼️

These aren't Italian pizzas. The dough is quite unusual. Quite hard, like a cracker. The service is snack-bar-level. It tastes like a salad on a cracker. I ate at the restaurant itself, and I understand why so many pizzas arrive cold for delivery. Those pizza boxes sat on the counter for at least 20 minutes.

Ordered three times. The first time, it was a pizza with asparagus, but there was no asparagus on it. Received a voucher. The second time, I ordered a pizza, clearly marked without red onion. The pizza was covered in red onion. Received another voucher. Now, I ordered a third time, and the pizza was cold. I give up! I won't be ordering from here again.

There was no room in the restaurant, and everyone went home with their business unfinished. This, despite there still being room at the bar. The restaurant seems to deliberately be making no allowance for people who drop by spontaneously. Very disappointing.

Exceeded my expectations. Tasty pizzas, thin crust and dough, and a very friendly service. (Shout out to the young female!) The place wasn't crowded at all, where we were the only table on a Friday afternoon. But the pizzas were well sized (the larger version) for the price, it's well thin and tasty. That in combination with the great service made this a great place to visit. One downside I could think of is the crust being a bit too solid for my taste. I would have seen it more puffy. But that's nitpicking a nice lunch.

The food is really good – especially the pizza and the tiramisu, both are absolutely delicious! 🍕🍰 However, the Americano coffee is not recommended, it tastes more like water. ☕️ Also, the waiting time for the food was quite long, even though the restaurant was not busy. ⏳ Overall: great food, but there’s room for improvement with the coffee and service.

Delivery drivers aren't allowed to wait inside, even if it's freezing and raining. There's plenty of space inside, very asocial imo

Just bought dough to make pizza at home. Really delicious. Not cheap, €5.50 per ball. Delicious, though.

The pizzas disappeared like snow in the sun! Great guys, nice thin, crispy crust, and you use fresh ingredients. 5 stars, well deserved! Also: the place is very well-organized and the staff is attentive!

Pizzabakkers' pizzas are simply the best. Deliciously crispy, not greasy, and generously topped. The Spinach pizza is my all-time favorite! The burrata ale appetizer is also delicious, and the tiramisu for dessert is fantastic. The staff is always friendly, so I love coming here!

Pizza was not as good as other pizza bakers locations.

The three of us had a delicious meal on the terrace. Crispy thin pizza crust, generously topped. The scropino was also delicious, something I rarely drink. And the dolce with pistachio ice cream, olive oil, and sea salt is highly recommended!!! The tiramisu is also great! Friendly service; we were helped quickly, and everything arrived at the same time. In nice/warm weather, children love playing with water in the square adjacent to the terrace, while adults can enjoy a chat, snack, and drink on the terrace.

What a downgrade in food over the past year. We ordered two Pizza Napoletana. And what a sad looking pizza it was! You could count 3 olives and 4 tiniest pieces of anjovis on the whole pizza. Hardly any slice had toppings. Same happened another day with different order. Never going back again.

Make it thin. Topping: very lean. Look for the Pamigano cheese with a magnifying glass. Tomatoes served loose in a bowl is strange.

Went for dinner on August 9th, and this time it was terrible and unsanitary. The person behind the bar grabbed the ice cubes with his bare hands and then ran his hands through his hair. The girl who put the ingredients on the pizza did so with her bare hands, so no gloves, yuck. The pizza Nduja Gorgonzola had way too much onion and the gorgonzola was nowhere to be found. The Aperol Spritz was also undrinkable; there wasn't enough Aperol and it was too weak. A waste of my money.

We had a wonderful meal on the patio last weekend. The staff were very friendly and even went out of their way to find an extra chair for the three of us. The pizzas have a delicious thin crust and are well topped and baked. Highly recommended!

Name: Vonk Family. The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this pizza bakery. We had made a reservation for the patio, but it was already a bit cold when we arrived. We were able to get a table inside without any problems. We were helped immediately, and drinks arrived quickly. The pizzas are delicious, made with fresh ingredients and generous toppings! The staff also kept checking in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. All in all, a fantastic experience! Thank you.

🍕 Pizza bakers everywhere! 🍕 At De Pizzabakkers, the pizza flies onto your plate faster than Uber Eats down the street. Delicious, fresh, and crispy crusts, and the toppings are as diverse as the crowd. And the tiramisu? It's so divine you'd think a nonna came down from heaven to make it. 👼 The staff is young, fresh, and makes you feel like their favorite guest (even though they're currently packing three orders for Thuisbezorgd). Personnel thought that frizzante was prosecco, but water is also frizzante. Oregano was missing on the pizza, when asked if it was on the pizza, the answer was :if correct there wasn't. This point disqualifies the pizzabakkers as a real pizza restaurant.

Fantastic and incredibly friendly service. A cozy get-together, including the pizzas, makes it a wonderfully pleasant place to spend time. Highly recommended!!

Always delicious pizzas with tasty, fresh ingredients. Not your typical run-of-the-mill pizzas, but surprising flavors. Special requests are catered to. They also offer fun and tasty drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The atmosphere is great, and the service is always friendly. We love coming here.

Ordered two pizzas here for takeaway and a rocket salad. The pizzas were okay, but got cold much too quickly, and the price/quality ratio for takeaway was completely gone. The salad, however, was the height of the problem, 6 euros for a wilted salad of just over 60 grams, in a cardboard box. That's really not on. I politely emailed a week ago to file this as a complaint. But after a week I haven't received any response, hence the service at 1 star. Letting them know is the least you can do. Not for us anymore.

Delicious pizza. Good staff. And very nice to sit outside. In good weather also nice for families with small children: they play in the water playground in front of the terrace.

The pizza makers dare to ask €18,- for a very mediocre pizza at best with rock-hard black edges. To have this delivered you pay delivery costs and 5% service costs and you also have to pay a tip for the delivery person who then delivers your pizza much too late and also cold. The right to exist of this company completely escapes me.

Never seen a better pizza place! Due to the head chef's vacation, the owner was in charge yesterday, March 28, 2025. Man, oh man, we had a great meal. The pizzas were like paintings and heavenly in terms of taste. Really recommended!

Heerlijke dunne pizza’s gegeten in een ontspannen en gezellige sfeer. Ik koos voor de Funghi & Pancetta – normaal gesproken zou ik niet zo snel voor pancetta gaan, maar op aanraden van de vrolijke en attente serveerster besloot ik het toch te proberen. Geen spijt van gehad: de combinatie van smaken was echt top! Een goed gekoeld glas Grillo (witte wijn) erbij maakte het helemaal af. De bediening was vriendelijk en oprecht geïnteresseerd, wat de hele ervaring nog aangenamer maakte. Kortom: Pizzabakkers Leidsche Rijn is absoluut een aanrader als je houdt van ambachtelijke pizza’s, fijne service en een gezellige avond uit.

Mostly vegetarian pizzas but fortunately also a few with salami. The pizzas have a thin base and are very tasty. I make the tiramisu better myself. Service was very friendly. Nice place for a tasty pizza.

Dry and tasteless base. Ordered for a collection time and arrived and everyone was standing around chatting and they hadn't even started despite the place being empty.

This is not pizza at all. We have ordered focaccia as well i have never seen this type of it in my life :) waited like 40 mins to get a pizza

Previous experience a while ago were good. But this time the pizza base was way too hard and the edges were almost unedible. Looked more like a much too crispy flamkuchen. We ate it, but really should have sent it back. When asked if everything was satisfactory, I indicated this and it would be reported to the kitchen. After that, the pizzas served at other tables looked significantly better. No compensation or any means of satisfaction. Too bad I won't be going back anytime soon after this experience.

Visited again and have to shoot one star down. It is still good pizza, but not as great as it used to be. Also, deserts are a letdown.

Na het bestellen van de pizza hebben wij 45 minuten moeten wachten op een pizza die gewoon koud was. Toen wij hierover wat zeiden, nam de medewerker deze met tegenzin mee naar de keuken. En wat schetste onze verbazing dat wij binnen 2 minuten een opgewarmde pizza kregen. Door het opwarmen, was de korst hard en de prosciutto niet meer te eten omdat het door opwarmen super zout wordt. En zelfs na het opwarmen, was de pizza weer heel snel koud. Dus slechte bediening en slechte pizza. Niet het geld waard, want prijzig zijn ze ook.

We had a delicious meal here with our 2 sons. Very tasty pizzas with a very thin base, enjoy! Our 3.5 year old son thought it was fantastic that you can see the pizza oven and how the pizzas are made. Highly recommended if you like good pizzas!

I wanted to order via home delivery, but that was not possible. No problem, it was possible via their website. Since I live opposite, I chose takeout. I got through the time of picking up. I walk there at the agreed time. I had to wait another 2 minutes because the pizza was almost ready. So I wait a few minutes and walk home in 2 minutes. Open the box: cold pizza! How can a pizza that has just been ready (after all, I had to wait for it) already be cold? The taste itself was okay, thin crust, soft base. This pizza was not 'just ready' then it would still be very hot. He was also a bit burned. All in all, not really a positive experience... the taste was very tasty despite being cold. So there is hope! Next time I will immediately open the box and check the temperature. But I don't like being lied to like this. Another tip would be to create a separate waiting area for collectors. Now you're awkwardly waiting at the counter in a full restaurant and you always have to step aside for guests and service.

Nice restaurant, where you can eat a good pizza. The furnishings are modern and the lighting is nice. The service was also friendly and smooth. The price is reasonable for a very good quality pizza. Good base, thin and crispy, good quality ingredients as a topping and well topped (not excessively, because that shouldn't be on a 35 centimeter pizza). For a small additional charge, pizza can be expanded to a menu with salad beforehand and two scoops of pistachio ice cream afterwards. Tip with the pistachio ice cream; add a tiny bit of sea salt at the table to enhance the flavors and make the ice cream truly delicious!

Service super slow ans quality far itilian standard.

The staff was friendly, that's for sure. The restaurant looked neat. But we thought both pizzas were much too thin and very meager toppings. Especially the pizza with 5 types of cheese (pizza of the month at the moment) had hardly any toppings. Price-quality is therefore poor. Unfortunately we were put at a long table, so we sat between other couples. Not very pleasant. We also noticed that the other couples who were placed at the long table did not like this. Lots of room for improvement, we won't be back anytime soon and won't recommend it to others either.

When we came in we were shown to a table, but 5 minutes after we sat down we were asked to sit at another table. This place was at a large table where we sat close to other guests, this was not what we had in mind for our date. We asked several times if we could sit somewhere else, we were told that this was possible, but then nothing happened. After a while we decided to move ourselves, but this was not appreciated and that is why we were moved to another place. Once settled in our new place, we had already been waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes for our starter. After we asked about this for the 3rd time, we were presented with this: a plank with ham, sausage, bread and some lettuce. We then had to wait an hour for our pizzas, which were lukewarm but otherwise tasty! Once we had eaten our pizzas, the wait for the tiramisu had begun. However, to receive this we had to take action ourselves. After another hour we asked the waiter where the dessert was, luckily it arrived quickly, but if we hadn't asked they would have forgotten, but hey, you can't have everything ;). Furthermore, the girls at the service were very nice! And we thought it was quite sad that the three of them had to solve it on such a busy evening. By the way, we weren't the only ones who had to wait so long.

We were the first guests right after opening time. We ordered 3 pizzas. We got our pizzas after 1 hour. Sorry, I just can't accept it and completely don't understand. As the first customer I was expecting to wait max 15 min, cause it was only us. Pizza itself was ok, but nothing special.

Pizza weighs almost nothing and has virtually no topping. Do half work for the main prize, easy money. If only I had read the reviews earlier, that was my own fault. First and last time I order from there.

The pizzas we had delivered were €16 each and also half lukewarm. The price-quality ratio was completely lost. Not recommended in my opinion...

The staff were able to help us with a table and were helped quickly. It was fairly quiet and the pizzas were made quickly. If you want pizza with pepperoni or pineapple don't go here. Personally, I found the appearance of the restaurant a bit cliché. With everything industrial, it wasn't really anything unique and I didn't find the seating areas very cozy either. My pizza was really tasty, I can't remember the name but it was with chestnut mushrooms. No dessert of your choice, but there was plenty on offer!

Good experiences with this franchise chain. As far as Leidsche Rijn was concerned, the start was a bit poor. The topping was missing from 3 of the 4 pizzas. With the 3rd pizza I didn't complain anymore and therefore paid because the professional and super nice waitress had a hard enough time with us :-). 4th pizza was great. Everything made on site, including the base. Drinks hip and desserts very tasty. We will continue to visit this chain.

Pizza was not very tasty. Sparsely toppings, crust was at least 40% of the total pizza.

The pizzas were not richly topped. I expected more flavor and toppings. It felt like I was just eating a pizza base with tomato sauce. Next time go to an Italian with really rich pizzas.

It took quite a while before the anti pasti and pizzas were served. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the wait. Despite the nice pizza oven, the pizzas were not warm and the dough was tough. The taste wasn't special either, it tasted bland, almost tasteless. Service was friendly, but it took a while before we got a menu and before we got our drinks.

Ordered pizzas for takeaway. When i got to the house, we saw Pizzas are burned even my dog will not eat them. I’m surprised the staff don’t check the pizzas before placing them in the takeaway boxes.

Ordered via internet. Ready in 20 minutes. Went in to over 20 to pick up: "oh, they're just going into the oven. Takes 10 minutes max". Returned 10 minutes later, another 10 minute wait. Pizza was badly burnt and not even very special (or tasty). Just bad
