A delightful Italian surprise on a charming little square where you feel like you're abroad. Friendly service, delicious pizzas, an atmospheric terrace, and a cozy interior in the restaurant. In the open kitchen, you can watch the chefs prepare all those tasty dishes. And oh yes, don't forget the tiramisu for dessert, Yum!

Tasty pizza and made quickly! However, €23.30 for a watery pizza is not cheap.

Truly one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The taste experience was truly unprecedented. From the starters to the desserts, everything was 10/10. Tip: definitely try the homemade limoncello. This is going to be a regular spot for us.

The service was absolutely terrible making us wait very long. Even though we asked on the phone whether the food was gluten free, it turns out they don’t use extra utensils to prepare the pizza which makes it not celiac friendly. Can’t recommend this place!

The waiter saw that we were on bikes and immediately put down water and refilled it. That distinguishes the waiter from the students in terms of experience. The pizzas were delicious paired with the Primitivo. Tiramisu remains highly recommended.

A great place! We were a group of 5 and on a busy night the staff did their best to accommodate us as a walk in. The pizza and salads were delicious. Wine and beer were great too. We highly recommend the pistachio tiramisu. The waitstaff were busy but were friendly and provided excellent service. If we lived here we would definitely come back again!

Found this place on my second night in Maastricht. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. The prosciutto pizza with truffle cream and the pistachio tiramisu were exceptional.

We loved this restaurant. We came with a group of 5 without a reservation. They immediately accommodated us despite it being busy. The staff were wonderful. The food was delicious. The wine was great. We would definitely love to return.

The location of the restaurant is very close to the center, the service and atmosphere are great, the Pizza tastes amazing. Our favorite one was „Funghi & Pancetta“ - so yummy! It is very kids friendly, they gave our kids some pizza bread for self-making. Also great price-value. We will definitely come back!

Quattro formaggio and margharita was very good. Not sure about the napoletana speciala. Actually dough was very good. They made calzone chocolate out of that same dough and it was delicious also. We really enjoyed it. They do have molecola instead of cocacola and it was surprisingly good. Definitely encourage you to try that. Lastly, limoncello spritz was perfect, they said that they made the lemon base in house.

Everything was excellent. The antipasto, the caprese pizza, the desserts (affogato and mousse): well-prepared and delicious. The service: quick and efficient. A great pizzeria!

Besides the excellent service, hospitality, and delicious food, we thought the idea of ​​the kneadable pizza dough ball was brilliant. And the fact that they offer tap water in a carafe as an alternative to mineral water is almost unbelievable in a world that's usually so profit-driven. Keep it up! We'll definitely be back.

With my family, we decided to treat ourselves for Valentine's day, so we made an online reservation for De Pizzabakkers. When we arrived there, our table was waiting for us. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, cosy and warm. We had almost immediately someone with us. Tatiana explained everything and helped us to decide our order. The pizzas arrived in a jiffy and they were exceptionally delicious. Three different pizzas, three distinctive flavours. We shared them with each other and enjoyed very much. Afterwards we ordered three different deserts as we simply wanted to try as many flavours as we could. The deserts were the perfect ending of our special night. We are very happy and grateful for this enjoyable experience. Thank you Tatiana and Peter. For a moment we thought we were back in Italy. We will come back again.

A very good experience at Pizzabaker. I had the pizza of the month, the Salami Adriana, which I really enjoyed. My friends chose the Margherita. The Aperol Spritzes were good and went very well with it. Special mention to the servers, who were very polite and pleasant. A place I recommend.

Delicious pizzas, very friendly staff. Great service. I come here regularly with friends and/or children, and it's always fantastic. The kids get a ball of dough and can make whatever they want. It goes in the oven, and after a while, the kids get their fresh, homemade baked goods! So much fun. The pizzas are delicious, and the drinks are good too. Enjoy the patio in the summer, and the rest of the year in the cozy indoor space. The atmosphere is great; the only thing I could do with some nice music.

We visited with three friends, the place isn’t far from our student accommodation in central Maastricht. The Pepperoni Danoi was delicious, the Quattro Formaggi was a little too crunchy on the crust but still lovely. Really fun evening and thanks to Chris for being a good laugh.

Delicious pizzas, but the area right by the kitchen was cold and drafty. The rest of the restaurant wasn't pleasant either. So we quickly ate our pizza, but didn't have dessert, and quickly headed home with cold hands and feet. Eating pizza in the winter... maybe not at Pizzabakkers anymore.
