Hoe onverwacht krijg je dan een superdiner voorgeschoteld door een zeer vriendelijke en betrokken bediening. Als er een M- ster zou zijn is dat niet verwonderlijk. Kwaliteit en prijs zijn in balans. Ondanks het warme weer genoten van de gehele ambiance. EEN AANRADER VOOR WIERDEN EN OMGEVING.

Heerlijk verrassende gerechten op hete borden (zoals het hoort) en zeer vriendelijke bediening. Echt een feestje om hier aan te mogen schuiven. Ons laten verrassen met een 5-gangen diner. Alle gerechten waren zeer goed van smaak en goede porties.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Klein ongelukje aan tafel gebeurd tijdens serveren, maar super goed opgelost door de eigenaar. Echt een aanraden om hier te gaan eten. En ik kijk er niet van op als dit restaurant een ster zou krijgen.

Gisteren wederom een bezoek gebracht aan de Smederije in Wierden. Ondertussen rijden we met liefde 30 minuten voor dit restaurant, de sfeer, het personeel maar ook de kwaliteit is uitmuntend. De Smederije is steeds weer een ervaring met bijzondere gerechten en smaken, echt uniek!

Heerlijk gegeten in dit mooie restaurant. Verrassende gerechten die met zorg bereid zijn. Heerlijk broodje vooraf met een leuke amuse. Super omgegaan met de opmerking over de ossenhaas die niet goed was. De andere gerechten waren zeer lekker. Mooie desserts en niet te vergeten top bediening. Absoluut een aanrader om heen te gaan.

Another delicious meal at De Smederije. Danny's dishes are always a treat... to see and enjoy. Also yesterday! Yesterday we enjoyed 'Danny's choice'... a 6-course menu, preceded by a delicious amuse and brioche bread. A true taste sensation! In addition to the food, we enjoyed serving the dishes... young service, but full of enthusiasm and passion. Beautiful to see! Compliments to Danny and his team.

Delicious, pure dishes. We opted for the four-course surprise menu and it was great, even for vegetarians. They were just working on a new wine list and we had the privilege of trying a white and red wine. Really delicious wines! Hopefully they will be on the wine list 🥂. And if you want good wine advice, ask Vincent!

Best restaurant in the village and surrounding area. Go for Danny's Choice and be surprised by the kitchen. The wines are top notch and well matched to the dishes. A new card every season and therefore another reason to come back. The meat is next level; the cheek, ribeye and tenderloin are great. Keep it up Danny!

A very pleasant surprise at this restaurant. Beautiful tasty dishes in a beautiful ambiance. We opted for the 4-course surprise menu and that turned out to be a good choice. The main course included pulled pork and tenderloin. served and we chose a red wine recommended by the chef. Deliciously soft and tender and an excellent combination. We will come back here again!

Heerlijk gegeten. De shortrib viel zo van het bot en was goed op smaak. De skrei met wortel was een heerlijk fris en zomers gerecht.

Het ontvangst was vriendelijk en zo was het de hele avond! De uitleg was goed over het eten wat wij geserveerd kregen....top! Wij hadden de keuze of van de kaart en een vier of vijf gangen menu of gewoon zelf samenstellen, wij kozen voor het vier gangen menu en wij kunnen zeggen dat het voortreffelijk was en de smaak goed was samengesteld, totaal geen spijt van....top! Ik zeg tot de volgende keer!!

Beautiful card! We had dinner here with four people. All 4 different starters and main courses and all four very satisfied with the quality. Staff is friendly and motivated. A nice matching wine was served with the cheese board and the enthusiastic explanation made it complete. The portions were just big enough.

Positively surprised, ate here for the first time but certainly not the last. The cuisine is very good and the menu for me is a nice mix of traditional dishes but slightly different with a nice twist. The service is good, some are experienced and some are clearly still learning. But friendly and not disturbingly inexperienced. Price not low, but in my opinion commensurate with the quality of the dishes.

Gekozen voor 5 gangen keuze menu. Mijn vrouw is 4 maanden zwanger en vegetarisch en voor mij maakt het niks uit. Ben zelf horeca man dus je let toch wat op. Overal werd rekening mee gehouden en was absoluut perfect. Prachtige combinaties, structuur en smaak wisselingen, smaak explosies en verassingen die je tong strelen. Ook prachtig voor het oog en dat is natuurlijk dat extraatje. We misten een lepeltje hier en daar om de restjes op te scheppen en een gerechtje wat machtig was mocht wat kleiner maar totaal niet noemenswaardig m. Complimenten gemaakt en nogmaals voor het gehele team. Prachtig bedrijf Danny. Echt een aanrader

The food was delicious, the food was brought to the table very quickly and the service was very friendly and attentive. All this until we ordered dessert... After we ordered dessert, I kept track of the time, we had to wait 42 minutes! This is very long. Other than that it was absolutely great! But hence the 3 stars.

The food was very tasty, everything was perfect until we got to dessert. We had to wait half an hour for our dessert even though we hadn't ordered anything special: cheese board and scoops of ice cream. The dessert was tasty. In the end we got a free cup of coffee because of the long wait.

You expect lunch. But you get an experience. Very much enjoyed lunch at the Smederije. Choose from the menu or 2 or 3 courses from the Chef. We opted for the chef's courses. Absolutely not disappointed by either the kitchen or the service.

After consultation with Danny (owner), we celebrated our 3rd anniversary here together with my husband-to-be. We had a delicious meal and were pampered by the staff and kitchen! Everything will be taken into account if you indicate so. And you won't be left dry because the staff is on time to ask if you want a drink and it all went very smoothly at the table. We are also very pleased with the restaurant, it is wonderfully cozy but not too small. On our behalf we would like to thank all the staff and the kitchen for everything and we will definitely come back. We opted for the surprise menu and it was a real surprise. Truly a taste explosion, I have never eaten so deliciously, compliments to the top chef and the friendly staff. We will definitely come here again.

After many good reviews and old acquaintances in the kitchen, we booked a table for Sunday evening. We were spoiled with the 6 course menu and oysters as an extra course and that is definitely recommended. Delicious food, excellent service and delicious wine in a casual, nice living room atmosphere. We will definitely be back soon.

Recently ate at the Smederije for the second time, the first time was just after the opening and the overall picture was already perfect. Expectations were high for the second visit, but they were far exceeded. Fantastic tasty food, good portions in a beautiful setting. Not cheap, but for this quality you can safely take a little more than the competition! Keep it up!

Hier wordt bijzonder lekker en vooral bijzonder gekookt. Probeer vooral de combi van tournedos met sukade. Vriendelijk en attent personeel maken het helemaal af. En , overheerlijk Swinckels van de tap maken het feest compleet.

Dining bij De Smederije in Wierden is niets minder dan een voortreffelijke ervaring. Eigenaar en chef-kok Danny en zijn team overtroffen elke keer onze verwachtingen met hun verrassend heerlijke en 'sterren-kwaliteit' gerechten. Een absolute aanrader voor een top culinaire ervaring!

Wat een geweldig restaurant! Het eten was heerlijk en zag eruit als een schilderij. De bediening was vriendelijk en oplettend. Helaas kwamen ze na het dessert niet meer langs om ons nog iets van een kop koffie aan te bieden. De sfeer in het restaurant is daaromheen erg gezellig en knus. Het voelt rustig, huiselijk maar toch formeel. Het restaurant is wat aan de prijs maar dat is zeker begrijpelijk voor wat ze serveren. Het is het zeker waard. Het brood en de wisselende amuse vooraf is ook perfect. Ik zeg altijd: “als het brood goed is vooraf komt alles goed.”
