Excellent restaurant! The surprise menu was superb! The courses were unique, diverse, and expertly composed. The accompanying wine pairing complemented this perfectly. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The location is also charming, with ample parking.

Very tasty meal. Started with a tasting, then trio of fish and ended with 20 year old Armagnac. Great evening with great service and at the end we had a nice conversation with the owners who took some time for it.

The controls are immediately noticeable. Extremely friendly and attentive. Then a very nice vitello tonato on the plate. With a delicious grilled piece of tuna. The main course was a nice piece of grilled salmon with scallops. The price-quality ratio and the exceptionally delicious coffee should not go unmentioned. The dessert completes it all. Unfortunately, this find is far from where we live, but if we are ever in the area again, it will be more than worth the detour.

Without making a reservation, we had lunch at Gasterij Het Middenplein on Saturday afternoon. We had a delicious meal here. At our request, the lunch dish could be adjusted slightly so that it was gluten-free. The price-quality and quantity ratio is very good; You can have a filling lunch for a very reasonable price.

We ordered a tasting. 8 courses. It was delicious, all dishes were prepared with care. Friendly staff and there was a nice atmosphere. Something to go to again

Tonight we had the best veal steak ever. Very soft and tender. Finished with a cheese board with delicious cheeses. We ordered a sherry on the advice of the waiter. It fit in very well. Beautiful combination!

Wat was het weer een feestje! Van binnenkomst tot het verlaten na de 8 gangen proeverij! We hebben diepe bewondering voor John en Frieda en hun team. Heerlijk om ze zo gedreven bezig te zien.

We enjoyed it, it was a pleasant evening that was made possible by the friendly staff, the chefs who showed us the love for their profession and the total picture from interior, beauty to accessibility. We would love to come again. Oh yes, for those who read reviews, try the 8-course tasting, highly recommended.

Five years ago I wrote the following: Very friendly staff...delicious food. Just be careful when you eat soup. Bowl comes out of the oven and this is not told. You'll burn your fingers if you just touch the bowl. Very unfortunate and annoying that this was not reported in advance...I had really burned my thumb. You only get an "sorry" afterwards... maybe you should have said it beforehand... Now all I can say is, it was great. It was a lot of fun and above all super tasty...highly recommended. You really feel like a guest of honor...very friendly staff and very good service! Oh yes, I was now clearly told that the soup had just come out of the oven and was still very hot.... so the previous message really did something.... all praise for such a top restaurant!

There is a nice restaurant on a pleasant square, along the main road. The lunch menu is general but good. Lactose-free and gluten-free eating is possible.

Eten is top! Bediening geeft je geen gevoel van welkom. Het feit dat je niet gereserveerd hebt, maakt dat ze afstandelijk reageren.

Weer een super gastvrije en heerlijke ervaring bij gasterij het Middenplein in Enter. Samen met Vlaamse vrienden hier gegeten en genoten van de originele gerechten die niet alleen heel smaakvol waren maar er ook prachtig uitzagen. Proeverij van lekkernijen als voorgerecht was voortreffelijk evenals de rund en buikspek van de Greenegg. Als hoofdgerecht de kalfsentrecote “ladysteak” en de originele bavette and ribs, van heel goede kwaliteit en voortreffelijk bereid. Dat allemaal overgoten met een portie nuchtere vriendelijke gastvrijheid maakt een mooie avond compleet.

Yep, this is a good restaurant. Enjoyed the eight-course dinner. Tasty and varied dishes. Price, environment and service are good and solid. Open kitchen and the chef also says goodbye to you at the end. Nothing to complain about? Maybe one of the eight will have a bigger and surprising taste explosion?

Hele leuke en gezellige zaak, leuk personeel en ons kent ons uiteraard. De menukaart is redelijk veelzijdig en goed we hebben er perfect gegeten en het was prima verzorgd komen zeker terug, zo vind je ze bijna niet meer.

Spontaan uit eten met vrienden werd het Middenplein. Blij verrast door het ontvangst, drankjes en het verrassingsmenu. Van ons gezelschap had iedereen wel iets wat hij/zij niet lustte of allergisch voor was. Hier werd zeer professioneel mee om gegaan en we hebben voortreffelijk gegeten!

Heerlijke middag gehad! Leuk terras, lekker gegeten. Binnen ook erg sfeervol.

Ik heb er heerlijke spareribs gegeten. Een prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. De bijgeleverde producten zoals patat en groenten zijn ook overvloedig. De bediening is vriendelijk, snel dringt zich niet op en is service gericht. Ik kom nog eens terug.

May 24th, back from Amsterdam (hours of Vermeer, Rijksmuseum, no lunch) to Berlin region, we had an intermission near highway A 1, for dinner, in Enter, Gasterij Het Middenplein. Inside almost occupied on a mid week evening; we found a place in the evening sun on the terrace. Hot asparagus starters, main course halibut w/ truffel linguine resp. beef shoulder w/ roasted pork belly; vegetables, cole slaw and frittes aside. Sparkling water (car drivers), coffee and pastry. Enjoyed it much; nicely hosted by the patron lady, another young lady, and most of the time by the young lady in service at our table (talk about popular drinks, the 70s, Mary Poppins ...). 94 € is quite adequate to this tasty dinner for two guests. Just right before the highway at night. We heartly recommend this place.

Restaurant ziet er binnen mooi uit. Eten gemiddeld. Bediening vergat een dessert te serveren voor 1 van de gasten.

Je kunt daar heerlijk eten, het is er gezellig en je wordt héél gastvrij ontvangen en tussendoor komen ze steeds vragen of alles naar wens is. Echt een aanrader dus!
