Was really impressed. Reserved at a bistro but had a totally unexpectedly delicious, almost Michelin-star worthy meal!!! Wow, what beautiful dishes and service!! A young couple runs it together, he in front and she in the kitchen. Simply top-notch! They understand the hospitality industry. Will definitely be back! A solid 9+ experience from me.

We had a delicious meal here; we were welcomed nicely. There is a fixed menu, though you can indicate what you don't like. We were pleasantly surprised; we haven't eaten this well in a long time. It might be a bit pricey, but as far as we are concerned, it is definitely worth it. We tasted some nice non-alcoholic juices that paired perfectly with the dishes. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic experience! We had a delicious meal and enjoyed a 4-course dinner. Everything was a complete surprise, as they deliberately work without a menu here. Beforehand, they politely ask what you really don't like, ensuring you eat with a smile. This way, you discover dishes you would otherwise never choose yourself. What makes this concept truly outstanding is that they deliberately do not serve bread, fries, or salad beforehand. After all, that is often just filler, leaving less room to truly savor the flavors. Here, everything revolves around the pure taste experience of the courses themselves. A very nice concept; we will absolutely be back!

We tried to eat here with 4 adults and a five-year-old child. The owner indicated that this is not a suitable place for children to eat. So I take that "celebrating life with family and hospitality" with a grain of salt. We cannot judge the food. The service and atmosphere get 1 star because I didn't really feel like we were welcome.

We are very happy that such a fine restaurant has opened in Wierden. A very welcoming reception, fine wines, but above all, incredibly delicious food!! Marit creates truly surprising dishes that are served beautifully and with care. True works of art. Portions that are not too large, which is very nice because you really get enough! True feasts for your taste buds, which is certainly the reason why we will keep coming back!

I ate here tonight with my family. What delicious food! We felt it was a true culinary delight. The chef surprised us with beautiful dishes and wonderful flavors.

We'd happily drive the necessary kilometers for a good restaurant, but now that we'd eaten here tonight, we no longer need to... Time for the customer, coats politely taken, knowledge of the dishes and wines they serve. We were pampered by Nick! And we haven't even mentioned the kitchen yet. The advice was to let Marrit do her thing, taking into account my allergies and ingredients we don't like. What a surprise came out of the kitchen! Flavor combinations you might not order, but they turned out to be oh so delicious! The photos speak for themselves... We're fans!

Had a fantastic lunch on the terrace. What a beautiful location. Not only is the quality of the dishes top, it is also beautifully served with an eye for detail. The extremely friendly owner gives extensive advice on both the dishes and the wine. You can tell that he knows and loves his profession. An absolute must. I will definitely come back.

St John's in Wierden, Creativity and quality at a high level! This restaurant is a real asset to the region, and the concept is great, choose what you like from the menu and order… not specifically for main courses. It is not a standard "fries restaurant", it is all about fresh and creative food of high quality. Marrit's creativity really knows no bounds! Every dish was a surprise and tasted fantastic, but also beautifully presented. It is clear that they work with a lot of passion, Nick also ensures the right choice of wine... absolutely great! Tip for visitors: Make your reservation on time, because this restaurant deserves to be full! Take your time to enjoy each dish and be surprised!! Er Jans restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone who enjoys good and honest food. We are impressed by the quality, the atmosphere and the concept. On Boxing Day we had a nice dinner at St. Jans Bistrobar. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Niek and Marrit, thank you for the hospitality and the fantastic food. We will definitely come back!

Marrit is a great cook and Nick is an excellent host. A wide choice of beautiful and exceptionally tasty dishes to create your ideal lunch or dinner, with a warm and personal service, a real asset to Wierden and the surrounding area (near the station so also easily accessible from surrounding places)!

10/10 - Because of Nick and Marit's years of experience in the catering industry, you just know that this will be a great success. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a great bar, just what you would hope for in a good bistro. The menu is both accessible and culinary, so everyone can feel at home and there is always something tasty to be found. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat and enjoy delicious food.
