De Steenoven Hut in Wijk 42 Rooswijk

Honestly one of the most amazing pizzas I’ve ever had. I ordered the piccante and it was packed with flavour and topped with chilli oil. My girlfriend had the margherita, also nice and simple. The crust is light and thin, yet sturdy enough to fold and eat like how it’s meant to be as well as not dry that you need a sip of your drink with every bite. The Italian chef is very nice and passionate about his art. I also overheard he loves car racing.

For pick up, fast service, excellent pizzas.

Pizzas are delivered burnt after waiting 2 hours.. Rocket was missing from one of the pizzas. Then called and was told that we had to make do with this because of the crowd. Very customer friendly!

The pizza was great, the chef is Italian and was very happy when we ordered a pizza in Italian cause he didn’t expect it at all, great experience, I’ll definitely remember it for a long time cause he seemed genuinely shocked hahahahaha

Delicious pizzas. Have ordered here many times and sometimes the quality was a bit less but generally just very good. Delivery is always fast and neat (order from them). 1x they forgot a topping and within half an hour a new pizza was brought including a tiramisu from the house, very neat.

Worst pizza ever. The veggies and the base must have been in lot of pain before put in oven. The pizza had no taste. Very soggy and veggies had lot of water

The worst pizzas I've ever eaten! Ordered via Uber Eats and both pizzas were cold and so mixed up that the toppings were more in the box than on the pizza, Pizzas so greasy that the dough was soggy. 2.50 for pesto and then don't put pesto on it. Really bad, after 1 piece I threw the rest away, a waste of money (2 pizzas €33)

Great pizza. We ordered about 8 pizzas for our small housebgathering. Service was solid. All the pizzas got demolished. A great local option.

Ordered 3 pizzas here for the first time yesterday. By telephone with the restaurant itself (she saves commission that Thuisbezorgd takes and the lady on the phone was very friendly with a nice telephone voice). Delivery was super fast and the pizzas (Tonno, Pollo and their Steenoven special) were super tasty. Perfect base that reminded us of those pizzas during holidays in Southern Europe. This pizzeria is highly recommended. That's just what I discovered about this place, we will order from here more often!

Today we got pizza again from the brick oven hut. Just like the previous times, this pizza was super tasty. After ordering, we were able to pick up our pizza 10 minutes later. Is and remains a must for the Zaan region. Actually, Michelin should eat here. ***

I didn't really like this pizza, I'd rate it average. Nothing special. The place is focused on home deliveries (I guess), it wasn't very clean, especially in the bathroom. Normal prices, acceptable.

Slechte Ervaring met De steenoven hut – Niet Aan te Raden! Ik heb twee keer bij hun pizza besteld en beide keren waren mijn pizza's incompleet, zonder alle ingrediënten die ik had besteld. Het is erg teleurstellend om telkens een pizza te ontvangen die niet naar wens is. Bij mijn eerste bestelling dacht ik dat het een eenmalige fout was. Helaas, bij mijn tweede bestelling gebeurde hetzelfde. Het lijkt erop dat De steenoven het niet leert van hun fouten en consequent slechte service levert. Wat de situatie nog erger maakte, was de onbeleefde reactie van de eigenaar op mijn Google-recensie. In plaats van verantwoordelijkheid te nemen werd mijn feedback op een respectloze manier afgewezen. Dit toont een gebrek aan respect voor klanten en een onvermogen om constructieve kritiek te accepteren.

Downright antisocial. Order placed via site for delivery 8:40 PM Ordered more than an hour in advance. At 7.30 pm I phone at what time I want to receive the order. At the indicated time. Then I received nothing and when I called at 9 p.m., no answer, nothing. Contacted everywhere, but still no response. Have now received a refund, but no response yet. I am not used to this company and am extremely disappointed.

Too bad for words. Pizzas ordered via ideal. You will see that they are on their way after an hour... and just wait... they will be delivered quickly, it says. A little later...cancelled...by them...well, and 32.25 euros can be a lot of money for many people...children who are looking forward to those pizzas and a refund is not possible...it will take 3 days and your last money will be that month. Just ridiculous

Mijn zoon bestelt hier regelmatig een vegan pizza en die is zo ongelooflijk lekker. Gewoon echte, pure, gezonde, Italiaanse pizza!

Erg goede pizza met een buitengewoon goede bodem! (Jammer dat je niet ter plaatse kunt eten. Maar gelukkig genoeg bankjes in de omgeving.)

Zojuist voor het eerst de steenoven hut uitgeprobeerd de pizza’s waren zeer goed en ook authentiek Italiaans. Bedankt wij komen vaker langs.

Ze hebben erg lekker eten daar maar de laatste keer was er te weinig personeel om te bezorgen dus moesten we het ophalen. Maakte goed nogmaals.

Gisteren voor het eerst 3 pizza’s hier besteld. Telefonisch met het restaurant zelf (scheelt ze weer commissie die Thuisbezorgd pakt en de dame aan het telefoon was erg vriendelijk met een fijne telefoonstem). Levering was supersnel en de pizza’s (Tonno, Pollo en hun Steenoven special) waren super lekker. Perfecte bodem die ons deed denken aan die pizza’s tijdens vakanties in Zuid Europa. Deze pizzeria is echt een aanrader. Dat is deze zaak nu pas heb ontdekt, hier gaan we vaker bestellen!

Bezorging is altijd prima, alleen het beleg is de laatste tijd iets minder geworden. Concept is erg goed met echte Italiaanse pizzas! Niet zo vet en alles vers.

Wir wollten hier eigentlich Pizza essen gehen, sind aber rückwärts wieder raus, weil schon der Verkaufsraum so schmuddelig aussah, das uns das Pizza Essen vergangen ist. Schade!

Prima pizza voor een prima prijs.

Vandaag pizza besteld... ik snap dat alles duurder word..maar dat ik de kip moest zoeken op de pizza vind ik wel heel erg (als men het niet redt qua kosten..maak dan minder soorten pizza's waarvan je de ingrediënten wel kan vullen)..ik klaag weinig over deze pizza tent..maar de laatste tijden vind ik hem wel heel erg achteruit gaan..

Really a hit or miss with this place in my opinion. Sometimes you get really nice pizza's here with a crust that'll leave you licking your fingertips off, whereas some other times I've gotten pizzas that have tasted rather old or blunt. I've asked them a couple of times and they've confirmed there is multiple cooks that come in at different days of the week. That fact means the quality seems to vary over the week. I would recommend they focus on pushing a consistent recipe and make sure the new cooks are well trained. In addition delivery is usually moderately slow (50-60 min) not a major deal breaker but something they could likely improve in the future. With the right direction this pizzaplace could turn into something great !

Zeer verrassend! Zijn primair een afhaal/bezorg-pizzadienst. De entourage doet hun naam eer aan (hut). Geen plek om gezellig te tafelen. Wij deden het toch. Met onze 10+ personen zat het meteen vol. Maar dan de pizza's: geen Pizza Hut-kwaliteit. Hier houd men ervan kwaliteit te leveren: spannende pizza's qua toppings, heerlijk dun deegje en alles vers! Die Verdienen restaurant-ambiance!

Een van de beste italiaanse pizza's in de zaanstreek. En nog is godnondeju betaalbaar ook. Dits shi lijpe aanrader oeleh.

Gezien de kwaliteit van de pizza’s die uit de hout gestookte steenoven komen, is het eigenlijk zonde om ze af te halen of te laten bezorgen. Dat gaat toch ergens ten koste van de knapperigheid. Daarom zijn wij vandaag in het restaurant gaan eten. Voor de fans van deze pizza’s…. doen! Echt een aanrader! We hadden vandaag een pizza Crisafulli en een Calzone. Heerlijk zo uit uit de oven op het bord. In de Calzone zaten erg smakelijke kleine tomaten. Dagelijks vers gemarineerd, aldus de chef. Welk ras kon hij helaas niet vertellen. Begrijpelijk, aangezien er zo’n 40.000 tomatenrassen zijn. Mijn partner dronk er het Italiaanse Birra Moretti bij. Ook al zo lekker. Bier met een vleug karamel, wat wel iets weg heeft van het Ierse ‚Irish Red’ of het Schotse 'Caladonian Best’. Met 4,6% alcohol iets frisser dan de Nederlandse 5% bieren. Als echte bier-drinker had ik er bijna spijt van dat ik voor een rode wijn koos. Bijna, want de Nero d'Avola van de Merlot-druif uit Sicilia was ook uitstekend. Geen slobber wijntje, maar een fijne volle wijn, waar je lekker in ‚happen’ kan. Als toetje een Tiramisu della casa met knapperig chocolade schaafsel erop en een espresso. Niets op aan te merken. Vriendelijke bediening, chef en overig personeel.

Heerlijke Pizza`s uit steen oven mooie ingrediënten en de pizza met truffel en ricotta deze moet je proberen geweldig
