The owner or waiter provided terrible service. He practically kicked us out, treated us badly, and took the beers off the table that I had just bought because "they were closing."

Tourist trap and unethical workers. The type of place you ask for two waters and they automatically bring you two bottled for $8 instead of tap. We haven’t experienced this anywhere else in Amsterdam. Go elsewhere

It has already been mentioned many times here but the quality of service is awful. I ordered a cocktail last night.The bartender with glasses first looked at me as if he tried to decide whether I deserved a good service. Then he brought it without an ingredient in. I do not care about how tasty or complete the drink is but you can easily feel that he does not like you. The pub is right in the center of Red Light District so they might be dealing with spoiled guys everyday but that should not justify such a negative behaviour. It was my third time there and I had a similar thought before but I wanted to try it again. Other than that, the location, atmosphere and menu will meet your demands.

Their Aperol spritz was premixed, it was so gross and awful, and they charged me 15 euros for it?!

Having to pay for toilets when you’ve paid for beers is outrageous

Paid €80 for 4 drinks and then have to pay €1 EACH to use the toilet, absolutely unbelievable !!!!! Go to corso cafe down the road, much better atmosphere and prices, friendly bar staff and FREE TOILET!!!!!

Giving a 1 star as it’s just not what it used to be, we visited what was a cosy but lively little bar over a few years now on our annual visits to Amsterdam, however on this occasion it just wasn’t the same, the bar staff seemed more interested in talking to themselves than listening to you whilst serving and it just didn’t have the same atmosphere in the evenings this year. Was always virtually empty. During our visit in feb 26 we Visited on a couple of weekdays afternoon and in the evenings and on Friday night but wasnt the same and unfortunately on the Friday they introduced a restroom charge eve for patrons. Sorry but that’s a no from me, fine to do this to stop the being used as public restrooms but for patrons give them a token when they order! Not really hard. Unfortunately we avoided on the Saturday.

What a mess, some woman was stomping around on skis the whole time. Never seen anything like it. And when you ask to keep the noise down, you're told they're closing and you have to get lost. Absurd!

After a few regular beers, the blonde barmaid suddenly (without saying a word) started pouring much larger and more expensive beers. A whopping €8.00 for a pint! We didn't ask for this. This wasn't a mistake, but deliberate deception. Pure fraud. We'll never be back.

!!!Don't go to this store!!! Incredibly unfriendly employee. The young gentleman didn't greet us or say goodbye and charged us way too much. We paid €42 for 6 beers!! That's €7 per beer. I will investigate and report this as a scam!

The young waiter with brown hair is very unfriendly. With an arrogance that is second to none, he sold me a beer at an overpriced price and understated the purchase price. If you are a tourist you will be treated badly here and in the wrong place.

Unfriendly service. The employee with brown hair was very arrogant and talked down to us. He charged us too much for a Corona beer and refused to look at the card reader during the payment process. We only realized afterwards that he had charged us far too much. If you're not local you seem to be treated differently.

Giving 1 because I can not give zero. The guy close the door on my hand when I tried to open the door, without any explanation or even looking at us! Rude and instead of doing his job as a doorman and informing us that the bar was closing, he was pushing the door on everyone's face, just so he could make up with a girl

A bar in the red light street. It gets crowded and there is a lot of noise, but it is normal because it is on the busiest street in Amsterdam.

Beer was flat and tasted out of date. Bar tender not interested in my opinion and refused to pour me another one. Sell you drinks then charge you to use the restrooms. Don’t bother choose another bar there are plenty of good ones.

They are terrible and noisy neighbours, the music is played on Monday night, when there is no one on streets, when the children has to sleep and go to school , that's really the last place left in red light district, it always attracts drug dealers. We been several times already warn them about load music, broken glasses on the street and other things, just unacceptable neighbours.

Great beer hall! Nice music, it's big like space. The negatives are that to go to the toilet you need from 1-3€ and the lady who is there is not kind at all!

The worst place by far in all of Amsterdam. The owner has no respect for her customers, expensive drinks and bad food. If you want to lose money and be mistreated, this is your place!

Beer is pretty expensive here - we paid €7 for a bottle of corona and roughly the same for a small vaasje of the beer on tap. The seats are covered in strange cushions that are maybe imitation leather but look and feel like plastic gym mats. The music kept being changed so there were a few jarring moments where the bar’s DJ changed the song and vibe completely. There are better and cheaper bars close by. Bar cat is a bonus though

No tuve la oportunidad de probar la comida pero en cuanto a la cerveza recomendaría pedir cerveza local , ya que pedí una cerveza Corona y sabía horrible. El servicio fue amable y rápido aunque lo que no me gustó es que se cobre la entrada a los baños aunque seas cliente

Good place for a couple of beers

Our favourite bar/pub in the the red light district area. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were getting involved and the music was on point. On the few times i have visited Amsterdam this bar was responsible for one of my favourite ever moments. Everything was great and the vibe was just right. There is a lot bars in this area that put me on edge but this was not one of them, fantastic place to visit for a few drinks, we were supposed to go in for 1 drink and ended up staying a couple of hours.

Íbamos un grupito de casi 40 personas y nos acogieron sin problema (y normal, le íbamos a dar una cantidad de pasta exagerada). La verdad que el local era amplio y estaba bien, así que no tengo muchas exigencias. El precio estaba en la media de los sitios de Ámsterdam.
