De Surinaamse Keuken in Wijk 17 Loosduinen

Delicious food, made by very sweet people! We happened to be in the neighborhood and ended up here thanks to a tip, because we don't live nearby.. We took the food home and thoroughly enjoyed all the tasty treats we had brought back. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop by again!

The Roti is okay. Nothing more than that. But it is the nearest place where you can get a halfway decent roti. The most annoying thing is that the roti shop is closed whenever they feel like it. We have stood in front of a closed door multiple times already. Even though, according to the website, they should be open. Last week and again tonight, 15/03. Done with this place.

Always delicious sandwiches. Generously filled and super fresh. Really nice people (mother and son). I love cycling past here on my way home from work.

Ate a seriously good and fresh (crispy) chicken curry sandwich. As for the atmosphere—which isn't really important for a takeaway restaurant—it's nothing special. But in terms of food, it is definitely worth it. They advertise with the slogan "just like at a Surinamer's home," and they live up to it. Highly recommended!

Ordered roti via delivery, so the atmosphere wasn't that great. Well-filled and tasty vegetarian roti with egg. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!

The Surinamese nasi was bland. It had peas and corn mixed in. The long beans were just green beans. The cod sandwich was tasty but also bland. Not recommended and definitely not again.

With all due respect to everyone in the kitchen, this is my first and last roti I'll get here. I've never had such a bland roti. The sauce was watery and overly oily. Also, the potatoes were too hard for a roti, and it lacked much flavor and spice.

I discovered this restaurant not long ago, and now I go there every week. I've tried several dishes (saoto soup, telo with cod, stuffed bara, nasi with chicken, roti with lamb, etc.) and I absolutely loved everything. I'll keep coming back because it's better than other Surinamese restaurants.

The roti was tasty and flavorful, but more like soup than roti. The pickled cucumbers, unfortunately, didn't have much flavor.

Always get delicious nasi chicken. I have never tasted any strange taste in the chicken until now, always fresh and clean open kitchen

Ordered roti chicken here twice. I didn't believe my eyes everything was under water, no taste at all, the chicken smelled so bad. I stated this neatly and did not want to give a refund or anything else in return. First and last time these people absolutely cannot cook. Are not friendly. Also heat everything up in the microwave, it's not even fresh. Super unfriendly and rude. They are only concerned about money. There were 2 people behind us who had the same thing, the woman just spit out her food. Ridiculous.

The roti itself was okay, but the chicken, long beans (?) and potato were tasteless! Little curry flavour, water-thin sauce and the taste was missing. The first and last time. You cannot call yourself a "Surinamese Cuisine"! Sorry.

Never again!!! Just for €20!!! Ordered 2 roti rolls. Clearly stated, 1 with pepper, 1 without pepper. To summarize again: so 1 is hot, 1 is not hot. Finally home and enjoy, I thought. I assumed the mild version but the flames came out of my ears. I call them, was reluctantly able to get a new one. A little later I get a call back that they couldn't give me a new role. And what I expected from them. So I just threw away €10, I was unlucky. I have clearly expressed my dissatisfaction because customer friendliness is very hard to find here!

Saoto little taste, little chicken with a strange aftertaste and mainly a lot of fries in it. No rice in sight either.

Noem het beter De Surinaamse Magnetron! - Alles wat je bestelt wordt opgewarmd in de magnetron, waardoor het smaak verliest. Tevens is het zo dat als je eten in de magnetron te heet en te lang opwarmt de smaak verandert in negatieve zin. - Als je gewend bent aan de surinaamse keuken vind je dit eten niet bijzonder, maar een beetje als Knorr wereldgerechten ofzo... - Broodjes worden volgens mij niet (genoeg) getoast, wat elke broodjeszaak normaal wel doet. Daarnaast worden de broodjes strak ingewikkeld in aluminiumfolie, waardoor ze zompig worden. @verkoper stop hier aub mee. Probeer maar zelf zo'n ingepakt broodje in folie vs. broodje in papieren zakje na 10 min te eten en zeg me welke je beter vind! 😉 Weer gratis feedback die je in je zak mag steken! Succes!

Goede verse roti kipfilet gegeten met verse kousenband en komkommer. Aardappel heel en geen puree. Verder goede jus erbij en lekkere madam jeanette. Roti prima en vulling ook.

We hadden roti lam speciaal en bami lam. Het was superveel eten, de volgende dag hebben we er nog een keertje van gegeten. Lekkere komkommer / tomatenrelish (de zoute soort! lekker!) en 2 soorten sambal. Volgende keer zeker weer, want er zijn veel meer keuzes dan roti en bami.

Ik ben het helemaal niet eens met sommige recensies. Mijn ervaringen met deze keuken zijn juist zeer goed. We zullen het er maar op houden dat smaken verschillen.

Heerlijke grote broodjes ... wel jammer dat het prijzig is! 3,50 voor een broodje! Prijs kwaliteit is normaal..
