De Waardige Waard lunch - diner - café in Wijk 01 Twello-Nijbroek

Voor mijn verjaardag uiteten geweest bij de Waardige Waard. De menukaart staat vol met goede gerechten. Uiteindelijk gekozen voor de taco’s met kip en als afsluiter een speculoos blondie met ijs. Echt een aanrader. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk. We konden lekker op het terras zitten. Al met al een fijne avond gehad.

Niet meer wat het is geweest. Geen likeur meer bij je cappucino. Moet je ineens voor betalen. De reden was dat niemand de likeurtjes dronk en dan moest alles weer weggegooid. (Tuurlijk) Je mag ook geen boekje of krantje lezen als je een kopje koffie hebt besteld. Ze komen om de minuut vragen of je nog wat wil drinken. En als je dan eenmaal snapt dat je maar beter kan gaan wordt je nog snauwerig behandeld bij het afrekenen. Alles voor de monnies. Wij zijn nu bij de overkant. De Hamer. Veel gezelliger!

Drank cappuccino & latte macchiato + delicious cheesecake with strawberries. It was busy in the middle of the afternoon, but quite understandable given the atmosphere and great service 👍

Excellent service and drinks to our taste, absolutely great. We were disappointed with the extensive snack board, not in terms of taste, but for that price we certainly expected more variety and snacks, which is a shame. But still a location to come back to. But without the board, there are plenty of other dishes. Recommended!

Nice and cozy restaurant. Come there more often. This time mackerel on brown bread. Taste was disappointing and bread was just a thin slice of brown bread.

Nice place, quick service, good food and not too expensive

I just discovered this place and I will definitely be back. We went there for lunch and got delicious country sandwiches. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is located on a nice square where there is plenty to see. Enough places on the terrace and places inside. Something for everyone! There is a beautiful oak tree on the terrace that is currently dropping its acorns. If you're not afraid of it, feel free to sit in the sun. Definitely worth repeating and leaves you wanting more.

Deze plek heb ik net ontdekt en ik kom zeker terug. We gingen er naar toe voor een lunch en kregen heerlijke belegde boerenboterhammen. De bediening was snel en vriendelijk. Het restaurant zit aan een leuk pleintje waar van alles is te zien. Genoeg plaatsen op het terras en plekjes binnen. Voor elk wat wils! Op het terras staat een mooie eikenboom die momenteel zijn eikels laat vallen. Ben je er niet bang voor, ga dan gerust heerlijk in het zonnetje zitten. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en smaakt naar meer.

Wij kwamen hier via happen en trappen voor het nagerecht .het 5e restaurant wat we aandeden tijdens de dagtocht. Wij kregen 2 stuks boterkoek met slagroom. verder geen keus. Dat was wel magertjes vergeleken de andere 4 restaurants waar we wel echt verwend waren. Hier zouden we zelf niet meer naar toe gaan. Bediening was vlot en terras mooi midden in centrum van Twello.

Delicious croquettes, nice terrace

We come here regularly, it is a cozy and atmospheric place. What I also really like is that it has a nice children's play area. My 2-year-old daughter enjoys playing here so that we can eat in peace. The staff is also very friendly

Excellent establishment in the middle of Twello. Good menu, something for everyone.

Food, lots of it and really tasty. Friendly and attentive service. Sitting comfortably and comfortably. Beautifully central on a lively square.

We enjoyed it but had difficulty hearing each other due to the acoustics, which is a shame for such a super nice place

Update May 10, 2024. The food has improved since the last time we were there, although I thought the satay was a bit on the salty side. They have a wide choice of brier and non-alcoholic beer. Although I was shocked by the behavior of the female staff. They spoke no English and certainly no German and found this somewhat comical. Personally, I found it rather shocking, especially because the rest of the terrace was affected by it. They were giggling very loudly and a colleague had to take over while they continued laughing the rest of the time. Luckily he spoke several languages.

For me a perfectly executed coconut crème brulee with (almost certainly freshly made) super tasty mandarin ice cream. Garnished with a dried citrus slice (should I eat that??), some candied nuts, coconut, coppert cress and mulberry? My wife had 'banoffee'. Banana cake with garnish. I know this dish from Stenaline, but this version is 10x better. Previously: Surinamese inspired dish of the day with chicken was good but not quite my thing. The dessert. The "Cronut" was super tasty. Unfortunately this is no longer on the map. Cozy, with a nice, fresh interior after the renovation. friendly service. Chocolate milk with chili, red velvet cake and tortillas from the oven are delicious. During a spontaneous second visit to the Worthy Plank a week later, I tried all the small dishes. Recommended!!

It's always busy here, you can eat well there, but when it's busy it all takes a little longer. The food is just good, but the last time €21 was added to my bill from previous guests and I therefore paid too much, but I still went back because I had recalculated myself. Apologized and received a cash refund for the excess amount paid.

Had lunch. Was busy in the shop, but was helped quickly. Chef's choice of soup. Wash beetroot soup. Taste was surprisingly delicious.

Gezellig lunchcafe met kleine kaart

Een toppertje. Een goede sfeer, prettige bediening én een erg lekkere lunch.

Gezellig druk, en goede koffie. Alles was gereserveerd voor de lunch, gelukkig hadden we nog even een plekje.

Je kan er leuk zitten, eten is heerlijk (12 uurtje is een aanrader) en bediening is top.

De Waardige Waard is een topplek om te lunchen. Ik had hier het broodje gemarineerde kippendij die enorm smakelijk was. De bitterballen waren ook erg goed en de service was erg vriendelijk en vlot. 5 sterren!

Super snel - klantvriendelijk en erg lekker

Het was heel positief verrassend toen wij hier binnen stapten , heerlijk gegeten van een overdadige lunch. Twello pakt heel goed uit. Vooral de hele sfeer in dat dorp, in één woord geweldig .

Gisteren tijdens klompenfeest hapje gegeten. We waren met zijn 4 . Het was lekker eten maar € 22,50 voor een kipsate is het mij niet meer waard voor een volgende keer. Paar broodjes vooraf €9,50. Dit alles maakt het niet leuk meer om even gezellig een hapje te doen

Fantastische service! Door onverwachte uitval in de keuken heeft de bediening zich hard gemaakt voor onze bestelling. De smaak van eten was kwalitatief erg goed. Hier komen we zeker terug!!!

Heerlijk met 5 vriendinnen gegeten in dit leuke restaurant. Het was lekker, goed bereid en gepresenteerd, opgediend door vriendelijk personeel. De sfeer was oké maar het is wel wat erg lawaaierig. Daarom dat als enige minpuntje.

Super! Heerlijk eten en drinken. Sfeer is top en twello zelf is leuk winkelen!
