Provided that the service was very good. Young cheerful affectionate woman. We were guests this time. He had eaten Swinckels before, so expectations were high. After all, we enjoyed the delicious food last time. This Sunday was very busy. Long tables for large groups. This probably meant that there was less time to realize the dietary wishes. Please note that it had been taken into account and certainly no mistakes had been made, but it was minimal in terms of offering and presentation. Opposite experience to our previous weekday visit. Because we were guests there, nothing was said at the time. Example: The vegetarian cauliflower dish had to be adjusted, but in practice there was not much left of the described dish. 3 pieces of cauliflower 3 pieces of broccoli with some lentils in the middle. Really no effort. Dessert: 2 scoops of sorbet ice cream with some blueberries. The waitress asked me if we could make it a surprise, which was nice of course! Probably her intention but not realized. I have said several times, let the chef make something that suits. It was clearly too busy to pay attention to these options. Shame. The starter was perfect!! Salmon smoked itself. I have dietary requirements (gluten and lactose) from a health point of view, no hype or anything, so unfortunately I have to pay attention. Better luck next time, but I will report this in advance when making the reservation.

Beautiful interior, lovely relaxed meal on Wednesday

Great food, intimate atmosphere. It was great again. And the tiramisu was fantastic.

What a wonderful surprise! Good food, attentive and very friendly service and a nice atmosphere in a beautiful building. Nice breaks between courses without the feeling that you are being forgotten. On the contrary, they regularly checked whether everything was still OK. Dishes were beautifully presented and prepared with care. Recommended for us and we will definitely come back.

We come from the Randstad and are huge food snobs. 😁 We are so pleasantly surprised here! We had something to celebrate and had mentioned this when making the reservation. All staff members seemed to know that! Moreover, our table was decorated. A really good start! Furthermore, a lot of choice and also original things: aperitifs, starters and main courses and especially desserts. Really original things, excellent quality! The wines are also impressive. And the price-quality ratio is just completely okay. In short: we will definitely come back here! Especially because this historic building is also located in a very beautiful location in the otherwise rather atmospheric Twello and is beautifully decorated.

This remains one of my top 5 restaurants. The food is always very good and the service excellent. It is a cozy and cozy restaurant. A good varied menu with nice seasonal products. Highly recommended.

Based on references, we had fairly high expectations for this dinner and after the starter (tapas style) the expectations seemed realistic, however... the main courses were tasteless and scanty (little). We skipped dessert and just lost confidence. We won't go back here despite the gesture not to charge for drinks.

Delicious food and friendly and hospitable hostesses. We sat in the conservatory and it was a lovely place. The plates were nicely laid out and the food tasted good. The homemade tiramisu is really delicious and a must have, so leave some space ;)

A restaurant with many good reviews and we have had a delicious meal here a few times in the past. But tonight the main courses were very disappointing. Diamond tenderloin, fried medium rare (on the advice of a waiter), was served sliced, floating in the blood and was super tough. I almost choked on my first bite and I couldn't chew it down. The rosti round was drowned in the carnage on my plate and the veal gravy was also drowned in blood. Hardly any taste from all this. Leave the plate half full. Of course I complained on the spot and the dish was taken off the bill. Nice in itself, but your evening is quite ruined. My husband's main course was slow-cooked procurator. Then you expect to get a tender piece of meat that falls apart. However, it was too dry a piece of meat and certainly not slowly cooked. Looked more like a normal fried pork fillet steak. I did not complain about this because it was still edible, but it did not meet expectations.

Prima eten. Smaakvol en verzorgd. Stevige porties. Redelijk goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. 3 gangen, 3 drankjes en koffie samen 70 euro. Wel stampvol en behoorlijk rumoerig.

Wat een gezellige avond hebben we hier gehad! Het begon al bij de vriendelijke en gezellige ontvangst. Gedurende de avond was de sfeer heel goed en bleef het ook bij het bedienend personeel heel gezellig. Het eten was erg lekker. De tapas proeverij een aanrader! Lekkere koffie met friandises als afsluiter. Aanrader om hier eens te gaan eten.

Great food in a heat atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the tapas as starters. The varkenshaas was cooked to perfection as well. Service was very friendly.

Hele leuke zaak met heerlijk eten. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en ondanks dat het druk was op een zaterdagavond en er weinig personeel was merkte je daar weinig van. Wanneer we weer in de buurt zijn komen we zeker weer langs.

Door omstandigheden al een tijd geleden dat ik hier was, maar het is een heel fijn restaurant met heerlijk eten, goede en vriendelijke bediening en een prettige sfeer. Top!

Weekendje weg en bij toeval hier belandt en wat hebben we genoten. Een persoonlijk, warm en gastvrij ontvangst, perfecte bediening. Voortreffelijk gedineerd in een stijlvolle ambiance. De volgende avond weer teruggekomen om andere gerechtjes uit te proberen, zucht..zo lekker eet ik niet vaak. Dank lieve mensen, tot de volgende keer.

Heerlijk gegeten met gezellige, vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening. Een goed verrassingsmenu met leuke shared-dining voor- en nagerechten en erg lekkere hoofdgerechten daartussen. Dat alles in een mooi pand dat erg sfeervol is ingericht. Super!

We waren met een groep van 12 en zaten in een sfeervolle kamer die alleen van ons was. Alles was goed: het eten, de service, het personeel. Ik had de zalm vooraf, de botervis als hoofdgerecht en de tiramisu als dessert. Alles was heerlijk bereid. De presentatie van de Tiramisu is bijzonder. Een megabol heerlijke Tiramisu uit een grote schaal. We hebben een heerlijke avond gehad en komen zeker terug. Aanrader!
