On our way from Goes to Bunnik, we stopped at this lovely restaurant for a delicious meal. And we thoroughly enjoyed it. The friendly welcome and service, as well as the delicious food, deserve a solid rating.

Celebrated my 40th birthday here with my husband and a childhood friend, and it couldn't have been better. We all went for the chef's 5-course menu – every dish was fresh, colorful, and seriously tasty. The duck was next-level, and even the dessert (not usually my thing) totally won me over. The vibe was great; the garden felt like a little hidden gem, and the beer list featured some rare local finds I don't often see. Service was spot-on, and I even got a bottle of wine from the house for my birthday (such a lovely touch). I didn't get a photo of the cheese platter because we were too busy enjoying it… and now I noticed there's a surprise for us if we book a lunch? Might just have to go back tomorrow!🤩

After previously being enthusiastic about the 3-course puzzle tasting dinner, last night the four of us completed round 3 of this fun challenge! An evening full of good food, fun, puzzling, thinking and aha moments. I can highly recommend this for anyone who likes games and a challenge. Until the next one!

We had both lunch and dinner here while doing a puzzle tasting, and in both cases it was really fantastic! The chef's 3-course menu was excellently prepared both times, and the service and atmosphere were extremely hospitable. In short, a restaurant where everything fits together perfectly!

Although attractive and decorated differently, our dinner at the Woerdenaar was a bit disappointing. The service was functionally friendly, the dishes beautifully presented and with good ingredients, but somewhat bland in taste (as if hardly any herbs had been used). All in all, we think the price-quality ratio is insufficient.

Delicious food prepared with products from the immediate area. Beautifully presented and with beautiful matching tableware. It turned out that a friend had arranged a surprise and it was completely fulfilled without us noticing (we thought everyone was offered such a drink and thought it was super special) and afterwards my husband was offered a bottle of wine because it was his birthday that day.

Delicious food and puzzles. We did have 4 courses afterwards, but we did not have that option, three courses was a bit small in terms of quantity, but everything was wonderfully fresh and tasty, and the puzzles were great!

During a scavenger hunt walk through the center, there comes a time when you want to have a bite to eat for lunch. We are given the option to sit inside or outside on the heated terrace. The latter appealed to us a little less. But it was a covered terrace in a "worn out" space which was also nice and comfortable. Enjoyed our modest lunch there. Nice welcome by the service. Went back a few weeks later for a fun experience, food and puzzles. A few extra photos including a small part of a puzzle.

They got my name wrong when I made the reservation, which was a shame. the food was very tasty and the service was friendly. but sometimes... a little too friendly. I think it is customary to ask every course if people want something to drink, but I was asked six times in between. that started to irritate us. I understand that you want to make money, but this was a bit too much. I will come back again for dinner!

My favorite restaurant in Woerden! Not only because the food is delicious, the menu changes with the season, the owner and staff are very hospitable and our dog is welcome. Especially because they prepare a fantastic plant-based menu with great care, and because they welcome the lonely elderly from the Met je Hart Woerden Foundation for a fun evening out. Really great!

We ate the 4-course Christmas dinner with the family. The food was delicious. The service was very friendly. The service was very good. We were even allowed to bring our dog and he was given a bowl of water without us asking for it. The restaurant was nicely decorated and it was nice and warm. In short, we had a very enjoyable evening.

Yesterday we enjoyed the surprise menu here with four people, which was part of the puzzle tasting. The lunch menu was very tasty and was enjoyed by all of us. The dish that we all liked the most was the starter with generous pieces of tuna and a tasty pickle. The combination of the delicious food and the fun puzzles made for a nice interaction. Delicious food, beautiful flavors and tastefully presented plates. Friendly service. There are a number of points that we thought were a shame. For example, earlier in the day we were asked to reconfirm the reservation, I understand the reasoning behind it, but it does not feel very welcome. When the first beer was served, it turned out to be almost 1.5 months out of date. When this was reported, the response was very laconic and subsequently nothing was done. In fact, the beer was still on the bill. When we said something about this at checkout, the response was "I will pass it on." When leaving the business, the only thing the owner said was "have a nice evening". Furthermore, the environment of the restaurant is quite simple and, in our opinion, does not completely match the menu and the image they want to strive for. If the above had not happened, it would have been fine!

Had dinner here with the family on Saturday, October 12, in honor of grandma's 87th birthday. There were very festive streamers hanging up especially for her! We ate the Chef's 4-course surprise menu. What was really delicious; everything prepared with pure flavors and utmost care. The service was friendly and attentive. Compliments also for the fact that everyone was served their food almost at the same time, it went smoothly! This is the second time we have eaten here and just like the first time it was fantastic. The menu is not large and it doesn't have to be because what they have is super fresh and prepared with love. Nice place for lunch. It was nice and quiet to sit and catch up with my company. Unfortunately the weather was not very nice so we sat on the covered patio with a view of the garden/courtyard. When the weather is nice you can also sit outside in a sheltered area. The food was certainly good, the soup was a very small portion and not a full-fledged lunch dish in my opinion, although it was stated as such on the menu. After this we shared another lunch dish together. Super attentive and thoughtful that the kitchen had already divided and prepared this over 2 plates for us. Now that's real service!

Ate here on May 29 with 3 adults. The restaurant was not yet under our radar, but it appears that it has been here for 4 years. We ended up having a nice table in the conservatory. Nice atmosphere. All three of us opted for a 5-course surprise menu. What made me really happy is that the glasses of the wine arrangement were offered on time every time, which sometimes happens too late at some restaurants. The dishes were surprisingly tasty and beautifully presented. The service was very nice and the wine choices were well explained with the appropriate dishes. Our allergies/food hypersensitivity have also been taken into account. In short, recommended and we will definitely eat here again.

Delicious food! Everything was fresh and very tasty. We ate from the menu, but next time we will go for the chef's surprise menu. This was our 2nd time and again it was really delicious. They also have a few vegan choices and everything was taken into account.

Delicious food for a good price. Nice cozy restaurant with very friendly and hospitable staff.

It is deeply sad that the existing disabled toilet is being used by the new owner for other purposes (storage). As a wheelchair user you feel discriminated against. I will pass this on to the municipality of Woerden. New catering establishments that destroy existing accessibility should be prohibited! Oh wait it is also prohibited according to the UN Convention of Persons with Disabilities which has been a valid law in the Netherlands for years!

Beautiful place and nice outdoor space. Haven't been able to try the evening menu yet, but I did try Jack fruit bitterballen (delicious!!). Friendly owner with a heart for the business.
