If you want to celebrate your birthday in a relaxed way and have everything taken care of, De Kade is the place to be! 👌What a cozy, relaxed atmosphere (we heard that from all our guests). And the service was fantastic!👍, they really paid attention to everything!

What a lovely place. We are always warmly welcomed and cared for. We have been coming to the quay every year since October 2021 for the children's birthdays. Great! There is no better location for the kids to have a good time and for the adults there is also a very nice vibe!

Fantastic homely cozy casual location with very friendly and helpful staff. Snacks & drinks perfectly taken care of and of excellent quality. Had very pleasant consultation several times in advance. In short, a top location, partly because the children can play freely and we even had a bouncy castle!

We had a party according to our wishes, Iris and Rolf think along well! Snacks perfectly taken care of and the service was great! Many guests indicated that they did not know that this is such a nice and well-kept party location. The weather was beautiful so we started our evening outside around 22.15 we went inside because of the rules given that the quay is in a residential area. Thanks again to Iris and Rolf. My wife and I had our 12.5 year wedding anniversary here. The intimate interior space is perfect for gathering with family and friends and enjoying a beautiful evening with delicious snacks from chef Rolf. All this provided by friendly service and accompanied by music from the DJ who kept us dancing. We had a great evening!

Last Saturday, February 15, 2025, I had a surprise party at the quay because I turned 50. What a great party it was, the service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for the good care and the fun. Highly recommended for someone who wants to throw a party.

Last weekend my wife and I celebrated our thirtieth birthdays here. We are extremely happy with the De Kade team. It was excellently prepared, the food (completely vegan at our request) was delicious and the atmosphere was great. There were many staff around to provide all guests with snacks and drinks. All in all, we can highly recommend De Kade!

We celebrated our wedding at De Kade. Iris and Rolf took all our wishes into account and we had the best day ever. The decor, food and service were excellent. If you want to experience a cozy and fun ceremony, we recommend De Kade.

We celebrated my mother's 85th birthday on September 28 at the quay in Woerden. It is a very cozy location, both inside and outside and everything was fantastically organized from start to finish!! Delicious sweets, snacks and appetizers. And also a big compliment to the service, the glasses remained well filled and they were very hospitable and friendly.

What a fantastic location! Suitable for a business meeting as well as an informal drink and dinner. There is pleasant contact in advance and you will be well advised, the day itself exceeded all our expectations. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Had a very nice party at a nice location. The contact was good, the staff so friendly, it was arranged down to the last detail. The children had a great time playing and the safe enclosure made all parents feel relaxed and at ease. Highly recommended!

Top Moluccan evening, delicious food and good, friendly service. Moluccan music is a nice initiative, but the sound is very loud so that you cannot have a normal conversation at the table.

After a warm bike ride from KBO Woerden, we enjoyed a delicious lunch put together by the owner of DeKade. That was worth a compliment. beautiful location and terrace, we will definitely come back. Recommended !

Nice restaurant to go to with small children! There is a slide, sandbox, various bicycles and rabbits walking around. The food was also fine. In terms of service, there is still some room for improvement, the ladies came (sometimes 2 minutes after the drinks had been brought) to ask if we wanted something to drink. This happened several times. Maybe useful to work with neighborhoods? The dessert plates were also cleared away while I was still eating.

Ate fries rendang for lunch, marvelous. Very kids friendly outside.

I celebrated my birthday here in the summer. The owner had given careful thought in advance about the party, the snacks and drinks. The evening itself was very successful, the atmosphere was good, we were very well looked after and on the evening itself there was also a discussion and asked whether everything was to your liking. Definitely recommended!

Nice restaurant with toys (a slide, and bikes that kids kan use freely) and sand for the kids to play with. There are also some rabbits on the ‘loose’ though we barely saw them today. The food we got was good and the pricing is as expected for kid friendly restaurants. We would have loved to come again sometime in the future but we just live too far away. Free parking at their lot which is located in a living quarter.

Place is nice, especially with small children. The crowds today were not anticipated and therefore everything was a bit chaotic. The waffle is far too small for a decent breakfast (and therefore also expensive, especially compared to other breakfast options), but very tasty! Owner does his best to make you happy.

We had a really nice evening at the 'Moluccan evening' at De Kade. Not only was the food delicious, but the whole atmosphere with live music really made it an evening away! To be repeated!

Thank you for your good care. Everything was well taken care of and done as agreed. The music installation was a good addition, it went well with Spotify, so people started putting on their favorite music themselves. The food was delicious, in retrospect we could have planned an extra starter. It was nice that we could pass on our special wishes for the food. The staff was friendly, cheerful and prompt. I just paid the bill and transferred some extra for your tip jar, That also applies to the service, of course. I will certainly recommend you to others, and I think my guests will too, because everyone was enthusiastic and had a great time. We look back on a successful party, thank you for that

Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary on September 10, 2022 with approximately 50 guests An excellent quality dinner beforehand, compliments to the chef!! After this, a party evening with a special, fun DJ The Kade team deserves all the praise and has ensured that it was an unforgettable evening for the guests and certainly for us. It was also very nice that the 11 children who were there could enjoy themselves outside So all in all a big 10 for the hostess, host and staff We will definitely come back again 👍👍👍

The perfect get away in Woerden!! Delicious dishes on the menu and made with passion. Rengdang fries are definitely recommended. And plenty on the menu for the Kids with play space in sight.

We had a very tasty meal here, especially the burger and the Rendang fries. However, it can be very busy with small children playing between the tables and running around. In addition, everything around the food took a bit long, such as ordering drinks, receiving the menu and then waiting for the food. I would recommend De Kade if you have children yourself and if you don't mind waiting a little longer.

Very nice place to have a drink or eat with family and/or friends. The children can play and you can keep an eye on everything from the terrace. A staircase near the slide would be safer and more convenient. Not all of the little ones can easily get up the hill and they can easily slide down it and they can also fall.

Very child friendly. We ate here with our children. The children ate delicious pancakes and then had a great time with all the toys, while mom and dad could enjoy a quiet meal. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is equipped with plenty of toys for the children inside and outside, but not so that it becomes restless. Restaurant and toilet are clean. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a quiet evening/afternoon with kids. In terms of food, the menu is limited, but I don't think that is an issue, because what they serve is of excellent quality.

For families with children, this is a fantastic place to have a nice meal or drink coffee. The children can play inside and outside and, because of the fences around the terrace, never run away. Outside there is a fun slide and a large sandbox with everything your child(ren) need to play all day long. There are also bicycles and cars and the two rabbits, which run free, are a highlight of a visit to De Kade. Oh, the food is really tasty too! And the cocktails... :)

Lovely place just outside the city centre. Perfect place for young families, plenty of room for children to play and runaround while you enjoy a carefree cup of tea. The chef also puts extra effort in crafting his dishes and the service is really good. We have found the perfect dining spot for our energetic South African bunch. I highly recommend!

Today the wind bothered me everywhere, except on your terrace. We thoroughly enjoyed the conviviality, the delicious food and the safe feeling that the children can play within the fence. They can easily keep them busy for 2 to 3 hours. I have 2 sons, 2017 & 2019.

The ideal place in Woerden and the surrounding area to go with your children, kids can have fun both indoors and outdoors. Delicious food and drinks on the menu, nice appearance inside and outside and good service. Nice to go to in summer and winter.

As a grandmother, I like to visit De Kade in Woerden. In the summer months I could enjoy coffee while the grandchildren had fun with the sand, the slide and the two rabbits. Sometimes they walked into the restaurant where there was also an opportunity to play. Friendly service and always a smile. During the winter months our grandchild participated in making a lantern and a shoe for Santa. Every time there is a new idea, it inspires and encourages me to go out with attention for the little ones but also attention for me (or us if grandpa also comes along 😄)

Aaah how I like this! The atmosphere is really great and I also think the location is great. I come from Utrecht by car and can park my car for free at the parking lot. I really like coming here! De Kade also does everything it can to surprise you all year round with new things on the menu, activities and fun! Highly recommended!

We celebrated our twins' first birthday here. The food was very tasty and the service ensured that not a single glass remained empty for long. Everyone raved about the place! Thinking about the cake and snacks for the children present was also very nice! This is also a nice place to have breakfast, lunch or a coffee!

Child-friendly location with a nice enclosed (fence) terrace and the decoration is very attractive both inside and outside. Children have also been well catered for inside and outside with nice play corners. The menu has something for everyone and there is also plenty of choice for the little ones. Parking is available on site. They also organize fun activities, including a clothing market and craft morning. We will definitely go here more often with our kids.
