Bistro Lokaal in Wijk 01 Woerden-Midden

Tijdje niet geweest. Toch weer bezoekje gebracht en we waren zeer blij verrast. Interieur ziet er goed en gezellig uit en we hebben heerlijk gegeten. Als voorgerecht kunnen we “ het plankje “. Aanbevelen. Een aantal kleine hapjes heerlijk bereid. Prijzen zijn redelijk. Per persoon waren we ca . 70 euro kwijt inclusief wijn.

Mooie, gezellige zaak. Ruime keuze aan gerechten. Wij gingen er lunchen. Het broodje met huisgerookte zalm was super lekker. Vriendelijke bediening.

We hadden hier een keer geluncht en merkte gelijk de kwaliteit van het eten. En zeiden tegen elkaar hier gaan we binnenkort dineren. Wat hebben we genoten. De Entrecote was fantastisch, wat lekker. En de pavlova was ook geweldig. Je merkt de liefde die ze er in steken. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Een echte aanrader

Fijne bistro met mooie gerechten en presentatie op de borden. De zalm als voorgerecht was heel bijzonder. Ook de andere visgerechten waren lekker! Leuke en attente bediening.

Behoorlijk aan de prijs voor wat duidelijk niet door een chef wordt bereid. Sorry, maar wat ons betreft vooral zonde van het geld en dus geen aanrader. Hebben het meeste laten staan en hebben elders een broodje gekocht.

Heerlijk gegeten met een groep dames voor een vrijgezellenparty. was super verzorgd! Schrijf niet gauw een beoordeling, maar kon dit niet laten. voor herhaling vatbaar!

Deze verassing is al een aantal jaareen geweldige aanwinst voor Woerden. En nu na een creatieve verbouwing is het eigenlijk nog mooier geworden. Ik kom al een aantal jaar langs van uit de bollenstreek om speciaal hier te eten en we worden telkens weer verrast door de creativiteit van de chef en de goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. To be honest, I expected less. Maybe because of the location or something, but nothing could be further from the truth. Cozy atmosphere, really good food and good, knowledgeable service. Nice wine and cocktails.

The food was tasty and they definitely make an effort to give it an upscale look. Dishes are more elevated in appearance than what I was expecting. Portions are also enough to keep you satisfied. The atmosphere of the place is very nice, it's a surprisingly cosy and vibrant place. Service was friendly but very fragmented - one person brings the menus, another takes the order, another brings the drinks, etc. It's all fine to have a division of tasks and stay efficient, but you shouldn't tell customers who want to ask a question that you're here only for this task, you will call another colleague for the question. Overall it was still a nice experience.

Heerlijk gegeten met vlees van de locale boer, bereid op de bbq. En heerlijke wijn bij het glas. Prima bediening. Aanrader!

I came here with my gf, it's a pretty nice and cozy place that gives a lot of good vibes,the food was amazing I had taken 3 dishes totally and they were one more delicious than the previous one, staff were very kind and beautiful and friendly and no doubt it was top quality food! Bravissimi 👏

The wine was great! (Ca'Bolani Pinot Grigio) food was also more than good! Only the pace was just a bit too high, despite the fact that we said we wanted to have a quiet drink first, we received the menu quite quickly, and there was also a 15 minute gap between the starter and the main course, so we naturally asked why the pace was so high. we were told that it was very quiet, which is correct because there were 3 tables with a total of 9 people, advice is adapted to the customer how they want the pace! Nevertheless, the staff knew exactly what was on our plate and the food was good!

One of my favorite lunch spots in Woerden. The food and service is always great. When you visit Woerden, Bistro Lokaal is definitely recommended. Don't forget to ask for the sandwich of the week!

No idea where all those good reviews come from, but this is simply a cabin to skip. Disinterested cook, if possible uninterested service, and extremely grumpy too. Vegetables with the main course are non-existent or severely damaged. The meat is quite good. Then there's that hassle with a "self-cut piece of meat by the chef". That guy apparently has no idea what weight the pieces of meat he's chopping off are. Then you're a worthless chef. Even in the deboning plant they can accurately estimate how heavy the piece they are going to cut is. Will we continue with the use of mobile phones by staff? Unlikely. If they gave half that attention to the food and service...I would still consider trying it a second time. Rant about.

Heerlijk ontspannen sfeer in dit restaurant. Kleine gevarieerde kaart. Vlees haalt men bij een lokale boer en wordt gerijpt (dry aging) voordat men het afneemt. Ik mocht 3 wijnen proeven/vergelijken om te kiezen welke het beste bij mijn hoofdgerecht zou passen, dat is gastheerschap 👌🏻. Eten was heerlijk. Van alle restaurant in Woerden is het eten hier het puurst.

Reserved a table today for my wife's 60th birthday. The food was excellent, beautifully presented on plates and a menu with enough choice for a good lunch. Enough space for 10 adults, 1 child and 2 babies. (The strollers could easily be placed near the tables). Compliments for that. Another tip for the service, when a table gets drinks, it cannot be the case that a person (the birthday boy) has to wait for her drink after asking twice. In any case, the comment that I ordered it is really not possible.

Had coffee on a Saturday afternoon. Spacious room with enough space, while closer to the market it was full everywhere. Unfortunately NO cakes available. Separate.

We were here in June 2023 with a group of 10 people on a quiet day. That is why we were allowed to choose freely from the menu and not, as previously stated, only make a limited choice. We opted for the 5-course anniversary menu: an extra course instead of the standard four. It was all excellent. Because it was so quiet we received all the attention from the staff. Recommended. In December 2023 we were here again with 7 people. We chose the surprise menu but this time we didn't think it was anything special. Only the dessert was top again.

The carpaccio is really the tastiest carpaccio I have ever eaten and what a super nice and sweet service, highly recommended!!

Tosti en toetjes in Woerden is van dezelfde eigenaren. Eerder daar een keer heerlijke tosti's en toetjes gegeten. Hoewel de freak shake wat aan de kleine kant was en niet echt groot en/of goed gevuld bovenop voor rond de 9,50 euro maar goed, hij was lekker. De witte chocolade cheesecake echter was/is daar ge-wel-dig ! Deze schijnt echt huisgemaakt te zijn, nou echt een dikke 10 voor degene die dat maakt ! Ik en mijn collega's zijn kenners en liefhebbers van cheesecake. Dus toen wij op mijn werk samen met mijn collega's echt zin hadden in cheesecake hebben wij deze to-go opgehaald. 8 euro per stuk, het is ook meer een dessert maar we dachten we doen eens gek op de poli in het ziekenhuis. Helaas...gelijk in het begin al een klein haartje onderop de cheesecake. Mijn collega had dit stuk en ja er is geen slechter begin dan...maar goed snel weg doen en niet meer aan denken. Na er alsnog van genoten te hebben dachten we toch maar een berichtje sturen, voor hun misschien een oplet puntje, geen kritiek. Maar helaas werd ons bericht nu niet heel 'sportief' opgepakt. Ik zie al een eerder bericht over de eigenaresse. Zij is vriendelijk maar bij kritiek pittig en dus kwam er ook een 'pittige' niet echt vriendelijke reactie op ons berichtje. Eerder ben ik al eens eten bij Bistro Lokaal en toen een vriendin begon over haar wijnglas die echt te weinig gevuld was met wijn kwam er ook een pittige reactie van haar. Waarom zouden we verzinnen dat er een haartje onderop/in zat en de moeite nemen dit door te geven. Dus jammer maar wij laten de cheesecake daar voorlopig links liggen...er valt nog wat te leren voor de eigenaresse....misschien gaan de zaken iets te goed.

What a friendly atmosphere, neat service that even knows all the dishes, desserts and cheeses. 5-course surprise menu (due to 5th anniversary) is highly recommended. All four had a delicious meal. September 9, 2023 ate for the 2nd time and if you could give 6 stars I would. The service, attention to detail and hospitality are the icing on the cake of fantastic dishes. They are in our top 3 favorite restaurants from now on.

Unfortunately, after a complaint about fries that were too hard, we received three of the four new ones and were told that we should be happy that we received at least three new ones. Later she regretted it and brought new ones anyway. Unfortunately, an apology is yet to come. Very sorry.

What a letdown! It was incredibly busy, which I completely understand, and the girls were running fast, so you would never hear me say that. After waiting 1 hour after the starter, I decided to ask approximately how long the main course would take. To this I got the answer oh are you hungry? Yes, I laughed a bit and the woman (who turned out to be the owner..) said: “You should have ordered a starter”. I said I had that. I quote “yes a sandwich” and she walked away. I felt so bad and really thought huh. When one of my friends asked about this later, she was so disrespectful and almost a bit mean that I never want to go here again. It's really a shame because the food was very good and tasty, but if the owner herself treats her guests like that, you're missing the point a bit.

First impression was nice, but after the starter it was a terrible experience. little to no patience to listen. We waited 1 hour until we had our main course and when we said something about the long wait, it was said and I quote “that we should have ordered an extra starter”….. THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!!! Had never been here before, and now ended up there via Instagram. It was a party evening which was super cool, first live music and then a table on the side and a DJ. Delicious food that carefully took into account a gluten-free diet for celiac disease and minimized the risk of cross-contamination. This allowed me to enjoy without any worries just like the other guests without a diet, where the waiter indicated with each course that my dish was gluten-free and I did not have to ask for this. As a result, I did not experience my diet as a restriction and that was very nice. Thank you for your hospitality!

There was so much noise in this room that about six of us started shouting at each other and the staff to be heard. Maybe something dampening on the ceiling?

Pleasantly surprised, the starter was already a treat because it came with steam from under a jar, the dessert where the entire table was filled with all kinds of small desserts was also incredibly original. Everything was very tasty and the staff was extremely hospitable!

After spending a whole day in The Hague, we arrived in Woerden, tired and hungry. We received a friendly and warm welcome from the nice staff of Bistro Lokaal. We had a lovely meal there for the rest of the evening! We haven't had such a good meal and laughed together in a long time! Today we had lunch at Bistro Lokaal, when we entered I had a nice and cozy impression, the staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was neat and clean. The lunch we had was really delicious and definitely worth it, price compared to quality, a more than fair price for what we got and for what we saw and tasted, everything was very fresh and looked attractive. Will we come back here, well we were right, but we asked for the dinner menu so we could see what other goodies they had, and that was a lot of yum. So I would say see you soon

It was a chicken coop! 90 Db of noise (actually measured; harmful to hearing). My ears were still ringing 1.5 hours later on the couch at home! I understand that Bistro Lokaal wants to make money from two large groups of guests. But this is at the expense of the small tables. We were new guests. We eat at many restaurants, but we have never experienced this! Paid a lot of money for a lot of noise! This is also unworthy of the grade 8.1 from the Ladle!! And what does Bistro Lokaal achieve? Dissatisfied diners who tell everyone that you should not eat there at the weekend when there are large groups!

Had dinner this afternoon at a local bistro! Salad was literally two leaves of lettuce (half smaller than lunch enjoyed) indicated twice, nothing was done with it by the service! Only: “we will take it with us!” Very unfortunate. It can happen, but do something to compensate for it

At Bistro Local you can pick up from Thursday to Saturday or enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. You can also choose from a delicious drinks menu with the most delicious coffee, soft drinks, wines, whiskey and beers. Pumpkin, pumpkin and pumps! I enjoyed a delicious pumpkin dish that was put together with care. The dish tasted delicious. The roasted olives added extra flavor & look to the dish. Dollops of delicious hummus. And don't forget a delicious pumpkin sorbet. The attractive Bistro Lokaal in the Voorstraat is a nice hotspot, where you can enjoy gastronomy with the art of cooking. Nice service, tasty food and beautifully decorated. The only downside is that it is a bit hidden and not really in the shopping area. So use maps!

We also had an excellent meal with a group of 13 people, with everyone having a hot dish on the table at the same time. Too bad about the acoustics. Just a little too noisy, so you sometimes have to make too much effort to hear each other. The atmosphere is therefore slightly less

Had a nice meal with 4 people. Wild on the menu, which I always appreciate. Wine from Romania was delicious. The only thing I found annoying is that the waitress kept refilling our bottle. We prefer to do it ourselves so that we can decide for ourselves how much or how little we drink while driving a car. The “but it's my job” response is sweet, but our hint was pretty clear. All in all, despite that, very attentive, friendly service and delicious food. The restaurant is very attractively decorated and you feel welcome as soon as you step inside.
