Food is traditional. Nothing wrong with that, but also not something you'll remember later. The atmosphere is very nice in this small restaurant. The service was top notch. The waiter did it alone and sensed everything well and gave appropriate advice.

Klaas still cooks like a pro. Friendly service, and the food was delicious once again. One minor point for me: the chairs. They're outdated, making the seats hard, and that makes an evening of sitting there (for me) uncomfortable. But otherwise...my compliments.

The ambiance is nice, as if I were visiting grandma. Even the scented soap in the toilet was recognizable. The service tries to create an atmosphere. This way they work neatly and thoughtfully. And it is also explained to us that it is more of a wine restaurant. A sweet white wine is then ordered. When the bottle is shown, it is referred to as 'sweet white wine' without mentioning its name or origin. A dent in the atmosphere. The prices on the menu also support the 'excellent' atmosphere. With "parade of starters" we get a plate with indeed several snacks. But, the shrimp tower with cocktail sauce was also served as an appetizer. The 2 otherwise unprepared pieces of fish are in stark contrast to the fried shrimp on the plate. With the bitterbal and carpaccio, it remains half a parade for us. Another dent in the aforementioned atmosphere. In the meantime, the two waitresses are doing their utmost and working hard and, above all, neatly. Unfortunately, the main courses also fail to impress. It's fine, but that's all there is to it. Not all the meat in the stew is cooked equally, the red wine sauce with the rack of lamb does not seem pronounced enough. All in all, we had a satisfying meal, but the food does not live up to the 'atmosphere' and price. Shame! We took our dessert home.

Tonight they only get 2 stars, we were going to eat there tonight, we have been here before and it was perfect. But tonight it sucked. Henk asked for a beer 0.0 alcohol with lemon flavor, a Rädler, he gets a beer with a slice of lemon in it. Now Henk is not a beer drinker, but his beer also contained lemon seeds and it completely killed him. Then she retrieved it later. the non-empty bottle was also taken away, without saying anything and with her back turned to us, while she could have asked, would you like something to drink? Furthermore, her posture with her back to our table, so without looking at us. This lack of interest, while we wanted to have a nice dinner, made us decide to pay and leave. Then they take away his bottle even though it wasn't even empty, that was the well-known drop, we paid and left and went to eat elsewhere.
