We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious and inviting 4-course surprise menu from the chef, highly recommended! You could taste that everything was freshly made. We were also told that the surprise menu can change daily, as the chef considers what's fresh and in season.

We had a truly delicious meal tonight. The winning pasta—deservedly so!—was buonissimo! A beautiful combination of original and modern, while remaining true to tradition (tiramisu with coffee!). A lovely restaurant, warm people, and very hospitable.

Had dinner at Viviamo tonight. The dishes were delicious. We took a primi as an antipasto because the antipasti on the menu were a bit disappointing. That was a good choice. The Secondo was excellent as well as the Dolci. The wine was also excellent. The service was very friendly and knew what to do. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice In short: reason to go back Small minus. Asked by email a few days in advance for a low table [necessary for wife]. Unfortunately the email was not read, but it was arranged on the spot. I think it's important. !!

Went for dinner last night. The pasta itself was good, but I paid €24 for a plate of pasta that was the size of a grapefruit. That's really too much money for too little pasta. Service was fine and the restaurant looks nice too. But... sorry, I will prepare the pasta myself in the future.

Really disappointed. Apparently the best pasta in the Netherlands, but the service really leaves something to be desired. Chef's menu was not well balanced (especially the vegetarian/pescatarian version made no sense - just leave out the meat but dare to ask the same price for a plate of cauliflower and carrots... luckily after complaining I got some scallops but that is not the standard) and the wine arrangement made no sense: no explanation, almost received the same wine twice, served a chianti with a plate full of vegetables (same as with the meat - so not matched at all). Not to mention how long we waited. 40 minutes on a burrata salad??? Then another hour on the next course?? I really had high expectations but I thought it was way too expensive for what it was. Very unfortunate. The pickled brioche dessert was genuinely rancid. I really like a lot, but no one at the table could eat this. And the service didn't seem to care. A real disappointment on every level. It's a shame and I hope you do something about it because there is certainly potential, but a lot of training is needed in hospitality and wine knowledge. Especially since we spent €400 for a table of 6 people (not even all chefs' menu). I have a lot of catering (work) experience and this is just a shame.

Good food, but the price-quality ratio is lacking. For 36 euros we expected a very generous snack board, or many homemade products. Unfortunately neither is the case.

Af en toe eten we bij Viviamo. Nu alweer 2 jaar geleden. Vanavond kinderen niet thuis dus samen even uit eten. Was erg goed. Bediening vriendelijk. Tijd tussen gerechten goed. Wat ik erg waarderr is dat per gerer ern aanbevolen wijn is per glas verkrijgbaar! Gouden greep. Als voorgerecht ik vitello tonnato. Was super. Mooie bite van vlees met uitgebalanceerde saus. Wederhelft burrata. Enorm genieten. Als hoofdgerecht zeebaars. Erg lekker. Vis goed gaar met heerlijke tomatensalsa van tomastjes, gedroogde tomastjes en stukjes tonijn. Echtgenote ook mooie portie pasta met gorgonzola. Precies goed. Als negerecht panna cottA die we allebei waardeerden. Viviamo in mijn beleving steeds beter. Van alle keren het lekkerst gegeten! Mijns inziens het beste Italiaans restaurant van Woerden. Aanrader!!

In my opinion the best restaurant in Woerden. Good atmosphere, delicious authentic Italian food (no pizza) and homemade limoncello to buy for home use. Be sure to try the scroppino for dessert!

Nice Italian menu with gluten-free options and description in English. Our "manager" was knowledgeable and helpful about the only-Italian wines. Service was great. Food was tasty. Restaurant could improve by requesting smokers to move 10m away from the entrance because they stand just outside the entrance and smoke and it just drifts back into the Restaurant (fancy that) and smells disgusting and spoils the meal, the wine and the experience.

We have been very disappointed with the dinner : except the first course which was good, the pasta were not at allcooked (not only al dente bus hard and not well cooked) and above all the tiramisu"à la minute !!!" was not at all a tiramisu but biscuits plus cream -moreover we have been waiting very long between each meal, while the restaurant was not full - a menu at 50e well promoted by the maid - only the Chef was understanding our deception and tried to manage the situation by granting a small discount - We do not recommend at all this place

Always good at Viviamo, delicious dishes and the service is always attentive, friendly and pleasant. We've been coming there for years.

Fortunately there was still room at the bar last night, we had a delicious meal there and the service was great! We will definitely come back again.

I usually opt for a chef's menu or surprise menu if I like everything on the menu, leaving the choice up to the chef. It's a shame that this one brings something completely different to the table. We also had a delicious meal (Yes, the chef menu was not Italian but delicious). The staff here are very friendly.

Het restaurant is mooi en het personeel opzich vriendelijk. Maar het eten liet een uur (!) en op zich wachten. Contact met het personeel ging bijna niet, we moesten echt zelf naar ze toe lopen om ernaar te vragen. Toe het eten kwam, ik had de ravioli, was het echt niet lekker. Dat kan gewoon mijn smaak zijn, dus wellicht dat iemand anders het heerlijk vind. Ik vond het niet goed. Toen we klaar waren kwam er niemand om de borden af te halen, wederom was contacten maken met personeel lastig. We wilden eigenlijk nog dessert bestellen, maar we hebben in het moment besloten om dat niet te doen en ergens anders heen te gaan voor een ijsje. Ik kan me voorstellen dat t misschien geen goede dag was, of dat anderen hier wel een goede ervaring hebben, maar wij in ieder geval niet.

Ordered foccacia with 2 tapenades. Tapenades were tasty. The foccacia was far too toasted, you could smell it at the table (starting black). The risotto balls were fine. As a main course the stewed beef cheek with garnish. The meat was fine. But the 3 Brussels sprouts were raw, just warmed with butter. The carrot is 1 piece 🙈 again raw. The polenta was tasty. The kitchen should reconsider serving this. We could have complained, but when you serve this, it is not understood. The pasta with porcini and green peppers. Pasta was fine. We didn't see the peppers. Reported but heard nothing.

We had something to celebrate so off to Viviamo. We were received very kindly. The service is excellent, friendly and relaxed. That's why I gave a big tip. Our assistance dog was also welcome, there was even a bowl of water and treats waiting for him. This time we were surprised by the chef, and it was a success. Enjoyed an excellent 3-course menu. Our own Limoncello is highly recommended, also for home use.

If you fancy really good Italian food with fantastic wine, this is the place. Shout out to the service, you hardly see anything this cheerful and knowledgeable anymore.

The service is great, attentive and friendly. But the overall picture is missing, because the food is simply not what you expect when you eat out 'real Italian'. As personally indicated at checkout; it seems as if the chef himself has no idea about Italian cuisine. But I have never been to Italy to get inspiration or simply to taste. Unfortunately, the bill is a lot more serious. Too bad, really a missed opportunity to distinguish yourself, with tasty and good food, from all the other restaurants in the city center of Woerden.

De bediening is super, attent en vriendelijk. Maar het totaalplaatje ontbreekt, want het eten is gewoon niet wat je verwacht als je 'echt Italiaans' uit eten gaat. Zoals persoonlijk aangegeven bij het afrekenen; het lijkt of de chef zelf geen idee heeft bij de Italiaanse keuken. Maar ook nooit in Italie is geweest om daar inspiratie op te doen of simpelweg: om te proeven. Helaas is de rekening een stuk serieuzer. Jammer, echt een gemiste kans om jezelf te onderscheiden, met lekker en goed eten, van alle andere restaurants in de binnenstad van Woerden.

Nice Italian place. You can't find tastier pastas and risottos anywhere than here. Employees are super hospitable and think along with us when we are guests. My mother is gluten-free and they always take this into account. There are also plenty of other options for my mother. Highly recommended!! 🇮🇹🇮🇹

Dining at Viviamo is a bit like coming home from a cold shower. Although the service has tried very attentively to compensate for the shortcomings in the dishes, everything indicates that the kitchen works hastily and inaccurately, and lacks taste buds. The starters were okay, but more than 18 euros for 6 shrimps is a bit steep. The main courses: the truffle pasta was tasteless and dry; no sage oil or truffle in sight. The risotto di mare was under-cooked, sandy and hard, and was unsalted. We couldn't taste the saffron. The steak was first served without cutlery. When we asked for cutlery after 5 minutes, a fork and butter knife were given. The steak could not be cut nor chewed. When asked, the kitchen agreed that the steak had indeed not been cooked enough and had simply been served too raw. An alternative dish was politely offered, but although confirmed, the rigatoni pasta came without burrata and also without extra salsiccio. The bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo had a bitter aftertaste. We were very kindly offered an alternative bottle, thank you, that was appreciated. Restaurant itself is noisy and it was difficult to hear each other at a table of six. For the prices asked here, it is better to skip a visit to Viviamo and cook Italian at home.

It could be a good restaurant. If you go for chef's menu, you expect safe and delicious. Unfortunately the main course was a wrong choice, in Italian you expect pasta but we got a meat menu. Fine, but it has to be good, the meat was tough. Sorry, really a missed opportunity. Price-quality ratio is not in balance. I thought it was quite expensive.

Restaurant heeft een goede uitstraling, ook de website maar na bezoek duidelijk geen écht Italiaans restaurant. Brood moet je apart bestellen en na lang wachten twee kleine sneetjes geroosterd brood voor €4! Ook viel op dat de schoonmaak te wensen over laat. Stoffige kast naast tafeltje. Vegetarisch gerecht met overheersende truffel smaak en onduidelijke ingrediënten. Jammer! Veel geld kwijt voor matige gerechten.

As a pregnant woman, it is a challenge to still eat and drink well in restaurants. Usually there is so much choice. But not with Viviamo. The menu indicates with ZP (pregnant-proof) which dishes can be adapted for pregnant women. Almost all! We had a really delicious meal and drinks together! I didn't have to worry about anything. I was positively surprised by how pregnant women are really perceived in this restaurant. This is where Viviamo certainly distinguishes itself from other restaurants. Kudos!

A delicious High Wine! The plank beforehand was absolutely excellent! The risotto was also delicious! The Tiramisu was very nicely done, so you can pour a little less chocolate milk over it to avoid making it too wet. You can choose 3 glasses of wine within this High Wine menu. The atmosphere was fine, but few customers. But they are really missing something fantastic! We will definitely come back!

Delicious and honest Italian food, especially the 3 course menu, be surprised by the chef, it is really very good. the personal attention of the service and explanation about the food is a welcome intermezzo. Yesterday I ate at Viviamo for the 2nd time. Once again a very pleasant experience, both in terms of food and the staff & service. The interior of the establishment is also tasteful, a nice mix of modern/sleek and rustic. In addition to the delicious dishes & wines, also try the Italian 'craft' beers.

Food was good, but this time I left earlier because of the noise. They should do something with sound-absorbing materials or something... You're shouting in each other's faces and even then you sometimes can't understand each other... Too bad, because it's otherwise a great tent.

Coincidentally, we were there during the weekend that was the celebration of 350 years of city rights. So it was busy, with of course the accompanying noise. But they did a great job. We had the surprise menu. And it was a surprise. The food was delicious and the service attentive and friendly, even in this witch's cauldron. Recommended!

We ate very, very well, here in Switzerland it would be Gault-Millau standard, everything was beautifully presented on the plate and the decor and atmosphere in the restaurant (a little darkened with nice music) was simply great. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always had a smile. This is how a restaurant should be 🤩 If we come to Woerden again, we will definitely eat there again.

Very interesting! We were here with 14 women for a bachelor party. The table looked super nice and we were served kindly. We had a tasting so it was a surprise every time what we would get. We had a number of ladies with dietary requirements and allergies and this was really taken into account.

Very cozy restaurant with delicious Italian food and friendly service. It costs a bit more than average, but it is really tasty. Tip if you like to be entertained with a fire: Viviamo's Special 21 is a pasta that is finished at the table with freshly melted parmesan.

Price quality insufficient, especially the wines.

We had made a reservation, but it was canceled due to corona, so we changed it to delivery and I came by for a consultation before eating because we wanted a tasting, this was no problem at all, the owner and chef thought along well. We look forward to it with anticipation.
