Lovely terrace on the water, delicious lunch.

Nice, but I ordered Handmaid's Lemonade, which was a real disappointment. It tasted like lemonade. And for fun, they even threw in half a passion fruit. The atmosphere is good and cozy, but that's about it. The food was disappointing. I had a pizza that was really expensive for what I got.

Heerlijke pizza gegeten met aardbeien. Je denkt eerst vreemde combinatie maar het gaat heel goed samen met hartig! Je bent er gelijk aan verslaafd!!!! Binnenkort ga ik er weer heen echt een aanrader!!!!!!

Recommended!! I've been coming here for years for a coffee, drink, lunch or snack at sunset. In one of the most beautiful places in Woerden. Directly on the water. The service is very friendly, the food is very good. Nachos XL are highly recommended. As for the negative reviews: I don't recognize that at all. And you are doing a hardworking company like this a disservice by posting your one-time, less than enjoyable, indelible experience here.

Had dinner there with friends yesterday and this was the last time as far as we were concerned. We were offered 2 foccacia at the table, but 1 was put on the table. One of the men ordered a Heineken from tap and was given another beer. The tuna pizza was raw tuna, but it was not stated as such on the menu. When we said something about this, the waitress said that they often get complaints about that... huh, but don't keep it on the menu. But the highlight came with dessert. Two people had ordered strawberries with ice cream. We almost fainted when it was put on the table. 1 small scoop of ice cream with 2 strawberries cut into quarters so it looked like something. This ice cream with the emphasis on "you" cost no less than €8.50. When we indicated that we were very sorry about this, we were told that they had started a new card and had to see how we would like it. When paying, don't just give me a drink from the company or something as compensation... no, pay in full. This was certainly NOT worth repeating.

Very nice terrace in the sun and sheltered from the east wind. Tasty cappuccino and friendly staff. Parking in the neighborhood is free, but there are not very many spaces.

An - for us - unexpected place to have a drink in Woerden. Enjoying the view and the setting sun, this place came into its own.

This was the last time we ate at Edge. To start with, the arrogance of the girl who served in the outdoor area radiated from it. Never before have such unfriendly customer service! There was no goodbye and everything was a lot of trouble. The pizzas were completely undercooked and very sparsely topped. We will never eat at the Edge again! We'll eat a pizza somewhere else in Woerden.

Sympathetic spot on the lake, more fun in summer than in winter; The conservatory has sufficient heaters, it is possible, but it still takes some effort. Perfect for a daytime lunch.

Beware dog owners! It seems so nice to have a round with the dog along the lake in Woerden and then have a drink/food at Edge. Not so…. Wet dogs are apparently not welcome at Edge. Called in advance if we could eat a snack with dog, this was possible. We stood inside, so we were sent away; it had started raining and the dog was a little wet. The dog would then start to stink when it dried (???), a towel or something was not given to us... what a service... Even in the conservatory where one table was occupied by two people, we were not allowed to sit because the heaters were on. . Worthless and customer unfriendly! You would only smell something in a conservatory where the outside air blows through. Will sweaty-smelling people also be sent away from now on? Apparently it had already been announced by telephone that wet dogs were not welcome. Something that had not fully occurred to us in our haste. When asking friends with dogs, it turned out that they had been able to eat/drink there several times in the past with a wet dog. So whether it is a new worthless policy! Or it was a new employee, still wet behind the ears.

Always nice to eat here, it is useful to make a reservation in advance. The pizzas are always top notch and I also like to drink a cocktail or a glass of wine here. Cozy atmosphere, both in winter and summer. They have a partially covered terrace, which is also really nice.

Nice to have a coffee on the heated terrace. Parking is difficult, but is available one street away.

Nice place on the water, you can sit here very comfortably, especially in the conservatory! There are few vegan options (not even a salad 😂), but there is a delicious vegan 'treehugger' pizza. Super tasty. There are many options for vegetarians, and you can replace the meat on any pizza with pulled mushroom. Remove the cheese and you might also have a tasty vegan pizza. There are many plant-based options for milk. It would be perfect if you could also get tap water and there were more plant-based options on the menu (this is scarce throughout Woerden). The staff is friendly and the service is smooth.

Wij hadden is een keer een bon van socialdeal. Bij binnenkomst mochten we niet in de serre zitten terwijl er plek zat was en ook zo bleef. Mensen met een bon van socialdeal mochten alleen binnen zitten. En voordat we onze bestelling hadden gedaan kregen we zeker zeker 4x te horen dat we socialdeal hadden. We voelden ons net een soort tweederangsburger. Wat ons verder opviel dat je een klein glaasje wijn krijgt waar je wel €7,50 voor neer kan tellen. Voor ons was het een tegenvaller.

Honden welkom, Maar niet als ze nat zijn .. Das niet handig want waar laat je je hond dan? Dus heb je een natte hond.. Hier moet je niet zijn Tip: misschien als restaurant je ventilatie in orde brengen

Very tasty meal. Cooking with passion, good products. Really delicious!! The tent itself is also very attractive, we sat outside in the conservatory, which was a bit cramped inside. But an open kitchen and contact with the chef was nice. Definitely recommended!! Quite a few vegetarian options. Also gluten-free options.

Finally nice weather so I was able to sit on a terrace last Wednesday. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as expected. We sat by the water and were forgotten by the wait staff the entire time. It all took a very long time and we had to walk forward a few times if we wanted something. I also ordered a vegetarian sandwich but I got a chicken sandwich! I didn't realize that because you don't expect that so you've already eaten it. I only received a simple apology and ultimately a vegetarian sandwich. I expected a bit more, because I think this is a very careless mistake. Too bad because it's a beautiful location, but I won't be coming back here again.

Excellent pizzas . We enjoyed the range of imaginative toppings- and the specially shaped children’s puzzas went down a treat too. Definitely a class above the usual pizza restaurant with the usual set of pizzas

Delicious pizzas! Surprising location. Nice service. Delicious focaccia starter and the house pizza Edge was great. It was only a bit warm in the conservatory because of the electric heaters... but better to be a bit warm than sitting in the cold, haha

Ate in the restaurant area, not in the heated conservatory: really not recommended, because it is very cold! Asked to do something about the temperature, but nothing was done. Waited a long time before ordering. Food good as always. The carpaccio salad with focacia edge is truly divine! If you ask for a glass of water with dessert, you get a bottle of spa blue for 2.90 euros. A 75 cl bottle costs 6 euros! Desserts are also really overpriced. Surprise board with sweets: 4 pieces of brownie, 4 small pieces of apple cake and one chocolate cookie broken into pieces: 18 euros! It's a shame that money has to be made this way. A real shame and not necessary because the pizzas are fantastic.

Definitely fun on the terrace in the summer. Small inside. Not really nicely decorated. Small card. Unfortunately no pasta. Pizza was very tasty. Maybe again for the summer, but in the winter I think it is much less.

It is well worth coming to Woerden just to come to Edge. And you can couple that with a wonderful walk in nature around the lake. They have some gluten- free items, but be sure to expressly state gluten- free even if the item is marked as gluten- free, so that they take care in the preparation, which they will indeed. The atmosphere is warm in winter and nice to be out cocktail / sunglasses in summer. They can get very busy in summer on good weather days. It's a welcoming environment with great views, great pizza, and a warm welcome.

Maybe I was there at the wrong time, but I missed some age in the service. The service was certainly not bad, but there wasn't much more to it either. Food and drinks were good and the location is also cozy. Especially on a hot day when the kids can enjoy a swim. And if possible, come by bike, parking is difficult.

At Edge, on the water @Cattenbroekerplas, something to eat or drink is recommended! Friendly service, vegetarian, lactose-free, gluten-free food, everything is possible!

Very good location with lake view. We ordered 2 sandwiches and a salad but it wasn’t what we expected, too much sauce and not a nice flavor.

Ordered chicken meltdown. It looked like a lettuce sandwich. Finally found the chicken that had been heated in the microwave, it was so hard that I couldn't cut it. The cheese was also concrete. Definitely not a meltdown. Stopped after 3 bites and felt nauseous and miserable all afternoon.

On the way home we looked for a place by the water for lunch. We ended up at EDGE, a small business in a new residential area in Woerden. A simple concept with tasty and surprising food choices. You can sit comfortably in the sun or in the conservatory, but you can also sit inside. There is a large playground nearby, so you can enjoy it with (slightly older) children. We ordered a pizza carpaccio and a pastrami sandwich and also had a portion of bitterballen. Everything was tasty and fresh. A nice place to meet up with the whole family or friends!

Great meal. Something for everyone. I eat vegan and a friend has a gluten allergy and we were both still able to eat pizza here. Too bad the gluten-free base is a lot more expensive... otherwise a nice place.
