Lovely coffee nearby the train station. A good place to meet friends or just sit and relax by yourself.

Coffee was nothing to write home about, location is convenient. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here but it does the job.

A very sweet young lady has been working here for a while now. I only come when she is there. Friendly, strikes up a conversation, and really takes the time for you. And she makes delicious drinks 🥰

Beautiful and large D.E. cafe with a second floor. The cafe looks well-maintained. The cappuccino was very good. Nice place to meet up, next to Central Station.

Fresly made or not today ? Came in early but didn't see any process of the making of the flat white I ordered. Normally good coffee but today not a good taste, a bit weak...but it could be the hot temperatures these last days in the Hague.

Messy service, not very friendly. No toilets available. The coffee is okay. Addition in response to the comment: Thank you for the friendly response. Regarding the toilet, I asked your employee about it; she indicated that we are not toilets. That is quite unusual. Additionally, when ordering, I was told that they only had cow's milk. After asking again if there was absolutely nothing else available in terms of milk, her colleague told me that there was regular oat milk. I was not asked which size I wanted. I indicated that I wanted to take the coffee to go, but it was served in a glass. So, the ordering process also left something to be desired. She was mainly busy with her mobile phone. For this reason, a lower rating. I am very pleased with the DE Café in Eindhoven, so this location was unfortunately disappointing.

A great spot to unwind for a bit, just outside the stadium (The Hague Central Station), for an appointment or event at Nieuwspoort, for example, just around the corner. Seating downstairs, and on a small first floor there is room for a bit more peace and quiet, to open your laptop or catch up on reading: with power outlets under the benches. Coffee is coffee, and naturally, there are plenty of variations on the classic black brew. Order at the bar on the left, pick up on the right. There is also someone walking around to collect empty cups and saucers. As a Brabander, I simply took the cup to the bar when leaving the place: that was noticed and appreciated too.

Delicious coffee and good pastries

It is really ridiculous that on Sundays you can only drink coffee/tea from disposable cups. We paid a fortune; we really should have gone to a kiosk or AH To Go. "Today we only serve these cups" was the answer after we had paid. Really bad service.

Douwe Egberts is on the facade. It's self-service, so you have to pick it up yourself. You have to pay for every order immediately, meaning if you (and a guest) stay longer, you'll have to pay again every time. A regular cup of DE coffee (from one of those glass jars with DE coffee) isn't available. And a cappuccino costs €5.20. Tell me ;o)

I want to like this place and been a few times but the music is awful! Every time. It's far too loud and the type they play is seering. Given the location is in an office area you'd think the music would be more suited to working or coffee with colleagues but the music makes it impossible and very unpleasant. I think they are trying to discourage people working or spending time here so do with that info as you wish.

Bad service!! We arrived with a group of four at around 3:30 PM, and a special Christmas sign outside said: "Open until 5:00 PM." There were about six other people inside. We sat down, and after a few minutes the waitress came over and said, "We are closing in 5 minutes." We left disappointed, but then we checked the special Christmas sign outside again, and it actually said "Open until 5:00 PM." One of us went inside to point this out, and she said in a rather unfriendly tone in English, "We are closing earlier because there are only five people." There were more people, and I thought it was rude that we couldn't get a hot drink there. Unfriendly customer service!

We were just about to get a coffee at 4:30, but we weren't allowed in because they were closed. The sign on the door said they were open until 5. When I walked in to ask if they really weren't open, the answer was: no, it's quiet, so we're closed... I wouldn't be happy if the staff slammed the door shut half an hour too early!

Usually ice lattes tend to have a bitter taste to them. The ice lattes here were SO good! Such a smooth taste to them. I assume it’s because of the coffee beans as well as the technique used (i.e. not adding hot coffee to the ice first). The employees here were also super sweet, I asked them for an extra shot and they were really helpful !

I don’t remember the spelling of the bread but « laugenekker » was terrific! It should be know internattionally. Better than croissant for me

Best coffee I have had since leaving Australia.

The "watermelon ice tea" turns out to be just a glass of lemonade. Cost: €4.70. The cheesecake (€5.70) is from yesterday, and the blueberry muffin (€4.70) is just plain cake. The purple specks in it don't taste like (anything like) blueberries. Moreover, there's no service on the terrace. In short: I paid €27 for three people, but it wasn't worth it.

Lovely place, the coffee is the best by far in Netherlands

It took ages to get help from the staff. They didn't know how to work. The staff also didn't speak Dutch; everything had to be in English!

We ordered two toasties. Not only are the prices ludicrous for what you get, the toaster was still raw in some sections and then burnt in others. For these prices that should not be the case

Coffee was good but the service terrible, today I went to drink a coffee at 16:30 and we couldn’t sit inside and have to drink the coffee in a cup to go. How is possible that they close at 17:00 and has still 30 minutes open and you can seat inside and get your coffee and in a coffee cup? Service terrible.

Compliments to employee Anouska / Anastia (English speaking), hope I spelled the name correctly. When ordering my latte, I received it in a to-go cup, even though I wasn't a to-go customer. Because I hadn't ordered the coffee to go but wanted to drink it upstairs, I asked if I could still be served it in a glass. That was out of the question, the Asian-looking employee (the supervisor at the time) told me. Once upstairs, Anouska also came up; I explained that I really wanted my latte in a glass instead of a cardboard cup. She took the coffee away and came back with a latte in a glass. I still thoroughly enjoyed my coffee, just as it always is. Unfortunately, Anouska was not thanked for this, and the supervisor lashed out. Very unprofessional and absolutely unnecessary. Because service seems to me to be something that should come first. Thanks Anouska for exchanging my latte and for the great coffee experience nonetheless... Really top-notch service from you. They really should appreciate employees like you more.

The Caramel Latte and the Matcha Latte were good; I found the place lackluster compared to other locations (I almost fell asleep while I was there 😄). Cleaning things up occasionally wouldn't hurt 😛 see photo

One star only because of the air conditioning. The ones in the photo are meant to be used when it feels like a sauna in the café. The staff are friendly and the coffee is good! However, sitting without air conditioning when it’s 28 degrees outside makes using it a logical necessity.

Cozy and in a top location in Babylon The Hague. Super cozy atmosphere. Plenty of seating and also an upper floor. Good coffee and pastries. Spacious and clean. Reasonably large terrace in a courtyard. Parking in the Q Park Babylon parking garage.

Good coffee, nice people, it took quite a while before the coffee arrived, even though there were few customers. Maybe a snapshot, but the service was very nice but slow.

The coffee and panini tasted good. The staff didn't seem to want to work that day. We were not greeted friendly and had to wait a very long time even though the place was not busy. Maybe it was a snapshot.

Good drinks and excellent service. Perfect place to go to if you’re in a rush and only have 15 (or less) minutes to quickly relax with a drink. The staff is not only quick but is also adept at incorporating some creative latte art and other decorations. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the prices are not at all bad considering the aforementioned and the close location to the central station.

I like this place for weekends. Just never buying large size of cups again because it is simply just as medium with a bit of extra drink! Other than that, all is good!!

No toilet, then you have to go through all of Babylon. Very warm in the place and you can't hold the latte as it is so hot.

Je kan hier heerlijk boven zitten. Helaas is de koffie sterk afhankelijk van wie 'm maakt. Afgelopen vrijdag echt de smerigste cappuccino gehad. Als je geen latte art kan maken, doe het dan niet. Maar stop aub met het steken van vieze staafjes in de net vers gezette koffie, omdat je anders geen figuurtje ziet. Niet doen! Update: Gisteren weer 'es langsgegaan. Superduur bakkie coconut dream. Extra heet gevraagd, maar je moet het in één keer achterover slaan, want het is gewoon veel te lauw en doordat er slagroom op zit al helemaal. Tafels werden wel netjes schoongemaakt. Maar de prijzen zijn tegenwoordig absurd. Dan krijg je bij Starbucks toch echt meer! Ook de klantvriendelijkheid laat te wensen over. Voorheen was er aardiger personeel.

Још један од кафића који ради на принципу самоуслуживања, уз помоћ радница за пултом. Овде Старбакс модел не функционише баш најбоље јер су запослени веома спори и неорганизовани. Дођете на кафу, а онда изгубите време чекајући да вам припреме то што се поручили. А уз то може да се догоди да вам погреше поруџбину (срећом па смо проверили пре него што је девојка за пултом почела да припрема кафу). Ако сте у журби - можда је боље да потражите неку алтернативну локацију у близини. Атмосфера је добра, леп простор, не превише чист нити одржаван, али ипак је ово Холандија, хигијенски стандарди су другачији него у другим европским земљама.

Ordered an iced latte (strong version), and mannnnn it was really strong! Perfect to wake tou up early in the morning. The wifi is not working on my laptop but works fine in my phone. I ended up using hotspot just to have a bit of work while waiting for my embassy appointment. The lady who serves us was really nice! 5 stars for service :)

Intiem en gezellig. Ligt pal naast het Centraal Station en ook dicht bij het centrum. Bediening is oké. De prijs voor een kop thee of koffie aan de prijzige kant. 3 euro voor een kopje thee vind ik ronduit belachelijk duur maar dat is tegenwoordig op meerdere plekken zo een beetje standaard geworden. Zou het leuk vinden als ze wat langer openbleven. 17.00 uur sluiten is wel rijkelijk vroeg. Misschien wat later opengaan en wat later open blijven.

Прекрасное местечко, что бы попить кофе сразу по прибытию в Гаагу. Расположено непосредственно близко к вокзалу. Есть уличное кафе. И есть второй ярус, где можно спокойно поработать. Есть розетки. Удобные кресла. И очень вкусный морковный торт 🎂 ! Ну и кофе отличный. Рядом есть бесплатный туалет. Что в Нидерландах большая ценность ))

betaal 5,60 voor een tosti die uit een plastic zakje komt en dan ook niet zo lekker is, wifi is ook sloom dus werken is ook niet heel chill. Wel aardige bediening :)

I ordered an Iced Cappucino blended with Caramel and it was not what I expected. Firstly, the coffee did not taste good (-1 star), then the caramel was not noticeable in the drink (-1 star). Moreover, the price was way too high for what I was offered, like the main international brands have cheaper and tastier iced coffee/cappuccino (-1 star). The place does look cozy, and I was thinking that will be nice to sit there, however, the iced cappuccino quality and taste will not make me come back. The two stars are offered for the place style and as hope that the recipe for iced coffee drinks will improve.

Gezellig, mooi gedecoreerd koffietentje vlakbij het centraal station. Een middelgrote cappuccino voor EUR 4,30 vond ik echter minder gezellig (zeker toen ik zelf van boven naar beneden moest komen om mijn koffie te halen). De koffie zelf was prima. De tafel werd niet volledig schoongemaakt.
