DeliCafé in Waarder- en Veerpolder

A 20% price increase overnight for a simple "ham, cheese, and tomato" grilled cheese sandwich. As a tenant of the Koepel, I find such a price increase unacceptable. This is the last time I'll have a grilled cheese sandwich at the DeliCafé. A 20% price increase is inexplicable, not even with standard phrases like "everything is getting more expensive." There's a limit somewhere. And this has been reached for me.

Great place! Wonderful for lunch in this iconic building. The menu offers many options. Delicious sandwiches, fresh juice, and friendly staff. They also know a lot about the dome. Very nice!

I've had lunch and coffee here several times, and I thought it was fine then, but last time I was quite disappointed. The service was very friendly, but the caffe latte wasn't very good, and the cheese and tomato sandwich was absolutely terrible. The cheese was dried out and otherwise poorly prepared, which is a real shame. I hope it'll be better next time!

The original location is in the old Koepel prison. It's a fairly open space, which makes it a little less cozy.

During the comic strip days, I had a very tasty and reasonably priced sandwich with Serrano ham, Manchego, and truffle mayo here. Koepel is, of course, a really cool environment.

We dined at Deli-café in De Koepel with a group of 50. It was well-organized. The dinner was delicious, special compliments for the halibut dish. The acoustics were excellent. A very special location. Highly recommended.

I waited a very long time for avocado and feta toast. Once it landed on my table, I wasn't sure what to think of it; it looked very tacky and had too much sauce on it for my liking. Next to me sat a family who had also been waiting a long time. The mother got her sandwich first, and when she almost finished it, the daughter's hotdog arrived, while the son was still waiting for his! Usually, everything was brought out at the same time. A big fail in my opinion. The service was friendly, albeit a bit rough.

Great food, great location. The spinach feta borek is really good. I've eaten here a few times and would go back.
