What a great experience! The welcome was as if you had been coming there for years, the host/chef Latif held on to that feeling until the farewell. Had a delicious meal at Eli's. We were not familiar with the restaurant even though we have lived in Maarssen for some time. They have a clear menu that is changed every three months according to the host and owner Latif. All dishes are prepared with great taste and attention served. There is a quiet atmosphere where you don't sit next to each other. The service is top notch and the host Latif mingles with the guests and is really interested and talks with pride about his business, staff and dishes. We will definitely come back.

Lovely, peacefully decorated ambiance with warm lighting. You are sincerely welcomed. Nice music in the background. A clear menu and yet still difficult to choose, because nothing is common or average, every dish has a twist that makes you curious to try everything, if you like beautiful combinations of honest, rich ingredients and fragrant herbs. The relaxed host/chef occasionally walks past the guests and enjoys when his creations are appreciated! And it always does when we are there!

Had a delicious meal at Eli's. The cooking is good and the corvina was very tasty. The pastéis de nata was a bit disappointing. The raspberry ice cream was delicious. Friendly service. Fortunately, the tables are not close together, so you have plenty of privacy. Upon entering, there was an unpleasant odor in the building that was reminiscent of sewage, but fortunately that disappeared. Small point of attention: the coats are accepted and put away. But if someone comes with a nice, long cloak, please hang it up high and don't let it drag on the ground.

Went here late 2024, but still wanted to put my review in. This place is perfect for a night away from home. Very nice atmosphere and the host is amazing! They are a bit more expensive, but that's part of the deal if you want everything else to be great!

We had an outing nearby at De Haar Castle and had dinner at Eli restaurant. The food was very tasty! 4 stars for the food because the temperature of the food could have been a little warmer, but this of course varies per person. The service was good and the owner came to have a nice chat. He explained how the menu changes every 3 months. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good and the decoration was especially nice! Enjoyed it all in all. So bad that we were almost late for the appointment.

What a delicious meal I had once again. Transformed into a new concept last summer. But no quality has been lost! In my opinion, even tastier than the previous concept! But that cannot be compared! I have eaten here several times since September. Highly recommended!

Een echte aanrader! Bediening is zeer attent en vriendelijk. Eten is echt fantastisch. Je betaalt iets meer maar het is het zeker waard. Voelt echt als een uitje, en daardoor anders dan andere restaurants. Mooi pand, je kan binnen of buiten zitten.

Het makkelijk parkeren in de buurt was toch nog even flink zoeken naar een vrije plek. Wij hadden nog Yums te besteden (2000 voor EUR 50 korting) die bijna afliepen en dit was (een van de weinige) restaurants die deze accepteren. Het viel mij op dat hier extreem positieve en negatieve recensies over waren. Ik wil juist in het midden gaan zitten. Sfeervolle inrichting (hoorde dat dat net vernieuwd was), op deze vrijdag maar 3 tafeltjes bezet. Het voorgerecht was smaakvol maar wel net uit de diepvries/koelkast, dus veel te koud. Het hoofdgerecht smaakte uitstekend. Al met al prima gegeten, maar helaas op de rekening geen EUR 50 voor de YUMS in mindering gebracht, dus daar moest ik om zelf om vragen, dat is wel weer jammer.

Restaurant Eli in Maarssen is a good place for tasty dishes. The new menu is surprisingly tasty. The octopus was tender and well prepared. The fish is fresh and the wine goes well with it. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Recommended!

We had a great meal at Delice every time, which is why we now have full confidence in the new Eli. That turned out to be correct. The menu is small, but as long as it changes regularly, that is not a problem. Because everything is tasty. Parpadelle is a delicious vegetarian main course. Octopus, prawns and redfish were delicious. I didn't taste the veal tenderloin or sirloin steak myself, but my table companion said it was great. Nice wine list, of which we drank the Argentinian Viognier.

Restaurant Eli has a very nice atmosphere. The location of the restaurant is right in the center of Maarssen. The food is one of the tastiest things I have eaten in Maarssen. And the concept of changing the menu once every 3 months is a great idea!

Surprising gem! Ate here on the recommendation of my brother-in-law and was very surprised by the delicious food. Didn't see a menu, but a nice host who coordinated the food with us. Wonderfully surprised! It was nice that our short available time was taken into account. We were in our disco outfit because we had a party 😆. If I had known it was so delicious, we would have made time for a nice long meal. Nice personal atmosphere, delicious food, beautiful restaurant!

Fop! Weinig eten en niks bijzonders (4 dipjes met brood, 2x een tapa en geen nagerecht of koffie). FORS AAN DE PRIJS. Plus een rare vraag die werd gesteld; ‘ wilt u vantevoren weten wat een menuutje kost’? Een ‘glas wijn’ is bij de ene persoon 1 slok en bij de andere persoon 1,5 slok voor € 7,00 per ‘glas’ . Ik zeg: niet doen, echt zonde van je geld.

Nice meal. Nice dishes. We were a group of 18 people. Everything went smoothly. Service excellent and extremely friendly. Minuses. The drinks menu was simple and 1 person thought the portions were too small. But he also eats incredible amounts.

This is an absolute marvel. The chef had a little chat with us and introduced the menu to us. We were able to state what we like and dislike and he would personalize the food. He chose our wine to perfectly match the food. It was wonderful start to finish.

Very tasty food at this nice restaurant! I don't know if it was because of the crowds, but they did make a few mistakes. It was our first time there and we were only told what the concept was after asking for the menu. The first course included extremely delicious baba ganoush. When we told them how much we liked this, we were asked if we wanted some more. We wanted that, but we didn't get it. My daughter is vegetarian but indicated that she does eat fish, when our party had fish soup, unfortunately she got something else. Can all happen once. The service was very friendly and the food delicious. We also drank wine from Lebanon, which you don't often see, and it was very tasty. So we will definitely go back again!

Shame. Made a reservation via Google for a dinner with a friend before February 17. You arrive and there is a private party. We quickly made a reservation somewhere else where we received a friendly welcome. Very disappointed.

What a party! Had dinner here to catch up with a good friend. Restaurant is located halfway and had good reviews. So reserved. The chef/owner personally came to the table to discuss the menu. We chose the 8 course chef menu. What a party that was. They had several wines. I first chose a delicious Lebanese white wine, and later a delicious Lebanese red wine with the meat dishes. You can feel and taste the love for the food in this restaurant. Highly recommended. That they can offer something so special for this money is very special. Thank you!

The food is tasty and the style of the restaurant is really great but we chose the menu of 9 small dishes to try and the amount of food for 40 euros is not enough. We had the reservation at 19 and we were there till 22:30, it’s too much time for 9 small dishes which don’t have many preparation. We checked the wine menu and we chose 2 bottles from it, when the bottles came they were another brand and from another countries, we asked them and they didn’t even have the same bottles as they are listed on the menu, never happened to me before.
