Restaurant Enya in Wijk 01 Maarssen

Fourth time at Enya's, and for now, also the last time. Unfortunately! The menu is limited, but so are the dishes. A rather simple beetroot dish with (dry) burrata, lacking any Greek flavor. In dish #2, you have to search for the scallops, while the red peppers dominated. And the prices for these small dishes, just like the main courses themselves, are not cheap; around €17. And then they still harp on about a 'shared dinging' concept, but you simply can't share these small plates with any decency. Fortunately, there are some positives - the octopus was delicious and Samos wine is on the menu - great! All in all, unfortunately, not good enough for a repeat visit; the Greek flavors are missing, and the price-performance ratio is out of whack. No ya-mas then, but alas!

Came here by chance with a friend but definitely don't regret it. You are greeted very friendly upon arrival and you can do shared dining here but you can also just order something. We both had the mixed grill which was really fantastically tasty. The dessert was also really delicious. We will definitely come back here

Absolutely loved this place! The restaurant is incredibly tidy and clean — you can really feel the care they put into keeping everything spotless. The food is amazing, with Greek dishes although cooked in a unique and delicious way. You can taste the difference! Highly recommend it if you want a Greek experience with a special twist.

I went out with a friend last night and we hD dinner at Enya. His moussaka was really good, unfortunately the scallops were lacking quite some flavour. The ceviche aspect of it was barely there, as it was hardly sour. Too bad, the dish sounded good. The celeriac was good. We sat down at 18:40 and had a bite, then it was about 40 min between the other courses, even though they are super small. We ended up being there for longer than we wanted. The food is average in my opinion, but it’s okay. The service was weird as they came very quickly to check if we finished, but waited forever for the next course. Also, if you don’t want meat, there is no vegetarian/pescatarian substantial alternative as a main. It’s not a bad place, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend

What a wonderful place to expand your own flavors through share dining in a quiet and hospitable environment. We ate octopus here, among other things, a highly recommended dish. This restaurant is a pearl in culinary excellence in Maarssen. We dined here with five people, which makes the share dining experience even more special.

Mooie locatie aan het water in Maarssen dorp. Binnenkomend vrij identiteit loze inrichting. Niet gedaan door een stijl icoon. De wijnkaart, er staat van alles op, niet onder de €34. Dan de kaart, vrij klein, share dining. Kleine gerechtjes, weinig qua inhoud, maar wel flink aan de prijs. Veel pretenties, koele zakelijke bediening, weinig prestaties. Veel succes als je erheen gaat.

To be honest the food was just OK. But the service was terrible!!!! I was there with a friend to eat and some drinks after we had some food and drinks my friend left and I was sitting there alone with my wine. So the the owner came and told me that they were closing at 9.30 pm and that I was sipping my wine for too long... Sorry but after having a complete dinner with a friend who left earlier and to be rude enough to ask me to leave because am just sipping only wine is just crazy. To me this is the first time and the last time that am coming here even though they are my freakin neighbors. The owner is rude so never ever again. There are better places in the hood yes my hood where I live..

I haven't had such a surprisingly good meal in a long time as I did today at Enya. The 10 dishes we ate were all top notch. Fresh ingredients, skilled preparation, all super tasty. The way Enya shapes the concept of shared dining is truly unique, it is an experience. The whole family came home excited. So we'll be back soon.

We like to come here because it is a fantastic place to go. Warm welcome, beautiful ambiance, incredibly hospitable, delicious food with good advice for suitable wine! For me personally it is a paradise with all gluten-free options!! Almost the entire menu is gluten-free and cross-contamination is taken into account. Absolutely recommended!

Ate here last week. What a wonderful experience, the coziness that permeates the entire restaurant, a real living room feeling. The food is specifically composed and they are happy to add a little extra. I had the prawns and scallops in round 1. We fully recommend ordering extra rolls for the prawn sauce. For round two we had the sirloin steak and arancini. These really hit the right spot with the salt and pepper offered. The arancini sauce is also delicious to dip in with the fries, highly recommended. Pleasant to drive by car and park around the corner. We arrived on time, which made it easy to find a parking spot. When we left later in the evening it was a lot more full. I'll be back again soon. It was certainly an evening to remember.

What a surprise to eat here! Immediately upon arrival the hospitality radiates, wonderful to be received with so much enthusiasm and love. The dishes are pictures on a plate that taste just as good. The octopus and tuna in particular were very surprising. The main courses are delicious and generous in portion. And then the wine, all stops are opened to please you. We had a delicious, strong Greek red wine, great tip. We will definitely come back and soon.

Around half past eight we were hungry on the way back to Amsterdam and looked for something we didn't know yet. Ultimately ended up at this beautiful spot because of the reviews. Food was really tasty, nice small portions with a number of surprises. For example, the veal cheeks and beetroot tzatziki. Service very friendly. Will definitely come back again.

How nice is this location near the canal. Still a feeling that you have really gotten away from it all. You can park on the canal, but the easiest way is to park at the back of the large parking lot. We were immediately welcomed warmly. The food was very good. You can order some kind of tapas snacks. But also order a main course. The mixed grill was great! The other dishes were also great! The cocktails were also really delicious. The limoncello spritz in particular was great! Here you can enjoy a very Burgundian experience.

So cool that I decided to write my first review. Enya accepted us even though the kitchen closed 15 minutes later. Charming place, delicious and fine cuisine without being overpriced. Owners and staff at the top. The setting facing the canal is delightful. In short, go for it :).

Delicious Greek Mediterranean food

Shame! That we, Wilma and I, have not eaten at Enya's before. Had a delicious meal on Saturday March 18 in a nice atmosphere with delicious dishes, we will definitely be back soon. Once again, thanks to Jan and Wasiliki and their team!

After a long time (negative experience) decided to eat here again. The service is super friendly (maybe a little too friendly). The atmosphere is still great, but of the 6 dishes ordered (shared), a few were quite disappointing. The octopus carpaccio tasted mainly of vinegar, the ox meat was really fatty and I just didn't like the risotto (my wife did). The wine was nice. We spent 140 euros with tip and for that money I have often eaten much better food. A bit disappointing.
