We had a delicious meal here yesterday, with so many flavors in every dish, it was truly unique. The service was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and the wine pairing was delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy in the alcove where we sat. Highly recommended!

Hidden gem, but so worth the visit. Its located in a quiet city near Amsterdam but the food experience was unique. They served some creative dishes like for example the four amuses in the beginnen it was so creative. I really liked that idea! Even the kids (4 and 9) enjoyed their adult dinner haha

We were picked up by a car from the restaurant for dinner at the hotel of the same name, by a friendly driver. The cold cup of coffee that had been nicely warmed by the sun while waiting provided the first scent experience of the evening... ;-) For my review of the hotel, look on Google at bistrotel 't Amsterdammertje. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were allowed to sit on the terrace for a nice Cava, water and the first amuses in "a tour around the world". This was for me one of the many highlights of the evening. After the amuses, introduction to chef Andre and the request from a neighboring table for a "Hugo" ("wine"), we were taken inside to take a seat at the table. Each course was even better than the previous one, in which the kitchen brigade had fantastically taken into account our stated taste preferences. We made use of the upgrade option from lamb to A5 Wagyu for the main course and all the flavors were excellent. In addition to the food, the (BOB) wine arrangement was also highly recommended. As I later said to the sommelier; with dessert it was not the most delicious dessert wine I had ever drunk, but it was the dessert wine that went best with dessert. During the visit I was also able to purchase the story behind the restaurant with recipes, including a signature of the chef, while that signature was already very clearly present in the restaurant. Was there absolutely nothing to criticize about this restaurant? Of course there is always something to improve; crumbs of the homemade bread and brioche actually remained on the table until dessert, the music could perhaps have matched the experience a bit better and we also did not think the coffee was very good. All in all a really top experience in the restaurant, after which we were taken back to the hotel with the sommelier as driver. All in all grateful for the super nice experience and the delicious flavors and combinations in the restaurant, but the hotel (separate review at the hotel itself) still has some steps to take to be able to compete at that level.

The four of us took the 6-course World trip arrangement. Very beautiful and especially tasty creations. Delicious matching wines but also very tasty mocktails. Total €750, it was definitely worth it.

Had dinner tonight. Food was good, understand the price due to the expensive ingredients, but yesterday I had an equally good meal at, for example, Snakevegt for half the price. 360, - for the 2 of us for a 5-course dinner with BoB arrangement wines is a lot of money. The building needs some maintenance and also the fixtures and shelves at dinner. Everything is just a bit worn out. Service is super good, but I still miss something. Had a nice evening, but for this I can eat out twice as well elsewhere. Is it worth it.... I think some maintenance is needed or a bit more creativity to make it a bit more affordable.

Recently ate here. Very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious wines and great dishes. Ended up having 7 courses and enjoyed the whole evening. We did find that the music was a bit loud later on. We would have preferred this to be a little softer. Also a nice initiative to hold a minute of silence in the restaurant in honor of Boer's death.

Top notch. Ordered 3 courses, but received 5 or 6 with little tasty surprises in between. Portion size of the starters and deserts was normal, and main was on the large side. Everything was served in good time, immaculately presented, tasty and cooked to perfection, with something special and unique about every dish. Staff were all sweet, warm and professional but unpretentious. Even one of the owners came to say hi. Apple pie was to die for. Overall, gorgeous restaurant, background music and a great vibe. Was well worth the short 30 minute uber ride from Amsterdam. Will be back!

Last night we had dinner at 'T Amsterdammertje with a group of 6 people, on the recommendation of a previous experience from 2 of our party who couldn't stop talking about the delicious cote de boeuf. The arrival was super friendly and André was at the table to shake our hands and walk through the menu. We quickly indicated that we already knew our order and that all 6 of us wanted to go for the cote de boeuf. It was said that a la carte was only possible for up to 5 people and that only the chef menu was possible. Nowhere on the website or in the reservation confirmation does it state that you can eat a la carte with a maximum of 5 people. We also thought this was a strange number, because according to the menu, the cote de boeuf can only be ordered per 2 people. This came as a disappointment because we had been talking about the cote de boeuf for weeks. After asking what the chef's menu entailed, we saw that most dishes were fish, and we had someone in our party who does not eat fish. It was indicated that an alternative would be devised for this, but upon further questioning we were never told what exactly this would be, which is nice to know, especially if not everyone is the easiest eater. We did not get the impression that André wanted to make our experience good and think along with us, despite our disappointment. He said: you should just make do with the other menu. After a long discussion between André and the service, the service announced that they could serve cote de boeuf for all of us, which was great! We were strongly urged to have a starter, even though we indicated several times that the cote de boeuf with the accompanying side dishes was quite rich and that we would rather have a dessert afterwards. We felt we couldn't escape it. Because we already felt embarrassed, we changed tack. The starters were also very tasty. Afterwards we took the mix of desserts, and while the table was being filled with delicacies, an employee came by with a board with a cake slipper and said to show it before it was cut and that it would be nice with the coffee and liqueurs, which we had ordered. We never saw this carton again and we have no idea if it was part of our dessert mix. All in all, the food was amazing, but the service ensured that we will not be back. We felt very embarrassed and pressured in the situation and had the feeling that André was not happy with us as guests at all. He never came to the table again, not even to ask if we were satisfied, and when we left we shouted a thank you to him as we walked past the kitchen, but we were ignored. We felt we were not treated with star dignity. We hope that our experience was an exception and that André was just not having his day, because there are also many positive reviews. But for us it did spoil the fun a bit on an evening we had been looking forward to for a long time.

An evening we were all looking forward to was overshadowed by a small disappointment. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and our coats were hung in the cloakroom. Once we were seated, we received a nice handshake from the chef/owner and were told that we could only eat from the multi-course menu. However, two guests from our group of six had come to eat in the restaurant earlier and were able to eat the Cote Beauf, which was very tasty and had been strongly recommended to us. According to Andre (chef), this had not been done for 15 years because there were six of us and not five of us, five people is the maximum to eat a la carte. Which is quite strange because first of all this is not mentioned on the website, it is not communicated in any other way, for example via email in the confirmation of your reservation and because the cote beauf is per 2 people, so 5 people is a crazy number anyway. to stop that. After some complaints about this to the hostess, we were allowed to eat the cote beauf, but we had to have a starter. This felt quite forced, so everyone took a starter. Dit was ons eerste bezoek aan ‘t Amsterdammertje. Ze zijn gevestigd in een prachtige en sfeervol ingerichte voormalige boerderij. We kozen voor het 6 gangen jubileummenu met 1 bijpassend wijnarrangement die we mochten delen, omdat we geen grote drinkers zijn. Het personeel is vriendelijk, behulpzaam goed opgeleid en losjes gekleed en je voelt je snel op je gemak. Nadat eigenaar Andrè je persoonlijk welkom heeft geheten, verschijnen de amuses op tafel. Het prachtige servies wisselt per gang en is afgestemd op de gerechten. Samen met het heerlijk verse desembrood pak je zelf uit de uitgebreide set het bestek dat je nodig hebt voor je gerecht. De gerechten maken een wereldreis van smaken en uitstekende en verassende combinaties die nooit tegenvallen. Verfijnd en een lust voor het oog en de mond. De tijd vliegt voorbij en voor je het weet is het al weer tijd om afscheid te nemen. Helaas, maar één ding is zeker, we komen zeker terug. Beautiful restaurant with an exclusive menu. We ate the chateaubriand there, which is served like a painting. Top quality meat and perfectly prepared. However, the 'water service, unlimited' at €15 is a rip-off and such a restaurant should avoid it; that's really not done.

My wife and I were finally back at ‘t Amsterdammertje since October 2017, and wow. It was even better than we visited the last time. We went for the 7 course world trip menu; which I can describe as exquisite. The very creative dishes, wine pairing, the flavours were all delicious. We truly enjoyed our meal, which is one of the best dining experiences we’ve had worldwide and certainly in the Netherlands. Staff were great, and as usual, we had a little chat with André Gerrits who personally welcomes all his guest. I can truly recommend this restaurant. I have a lot of respect for, and am very happy with the succes André, his lovely wife and their team is are having after 15 years in the business.

A wonderful experience is an evening of eating and drinking at 't Amsterdammertje. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated without unnecessary frills. The kitchen is open, which also makes it interesting. The dishes are all fantastic: full of different flavors, beautifully composed and beautifully served. The matching wines are indeed matching. I never leave a review so quickly, but wow, this was a great experience from start to finish! My wife and I have been married for 12 years and of course that had to be celebrated. Together we decided, since we both love good food and drinks, to enjoy a culinary surprise in a star restaurant. We chose 't Amsterdammetje. I say this sincerely: what an experience! I would like to recommend this to everyone. I had a stomach reduction in December 2023, so it was quite exciting to eat out again. At the same time you know that you are going because of the ambiance and the taste sensations. I indicated this when booking and the restaurant took this into account very well! Where necessary, the quantity of dishes was adjusted in a refined manner and at no time did I feel full. This way I could enjoy every course at the same time as my wife. What credits for these people. All in all, we were really surprised and had an incredibly wonderful evening with these top performers. Heerlijk gegeten. Alles zag er mooi uit en smaakte verfijnd. Echt verrassend. De prijs is er ook naar. De bediening was vriendelijk maar mag wat professioneler. Er werd meermaals gezegd ' was het lekker'. Dat is meer bistro taal. De tafels stonden waar wij zaten dicht op elkaar. Iets meer afscheiding met bijv planten zou passend zijn.

The anniversary menu showcased creativity, and the overall dining experience was exceptional. However, two issues left me disappointed: 1. Upon receiving the bill, I noticed an additional charge for a cheese plate. When offered the cheese, there was no indication that it was not included in the set menu, nor was the extra cost communicated at the time of ordering. The waitress lacked an apology and insinuated that my request was UNUSUAL, which was unsettling. I highly suggest the waitresses get a little bit knowledge of the law - if an offer is given without a price, customers are not obligated to pay unless they agree on a price and accept the offer! 2. Furthermore, a single glass of wine was mistakenly billed at the price of a full bottle. Unfortunately, no steps were taken to rectify the error or offer any form of service recovery.

Onze vele bezoeken door de jaren heen hebben ons nooit teleurgesteld, en iedere ervaring is als een nieuwe ontdekking van culinaire uitmuntendheid. Opvallend is de vriendelijkheid en professionaliteit van het team. Tijdens ons laatste bezoek werden we bediend door wel zes verschillende medewerkers, elk met hun unieke charme, maar allemaal even attent en betrokken. Het is duidelijk dat hier een hecht team werkt dat precies weet hoe ze hun gasten een onvergetelijke tijd kunnen bezorgen. Hun cohesie en harmonie zijn voelbaar in elke interactie, wat bijdraagt aan een bijzonder aangename sfeer. Ondanks onze specifieke voorkeuren voor een deels vegetarische en alcoholvrije avond, wist het menu ons van begin tot eind te verrassen en te bekoren. Package included hotel overnight stay and 7-course menu. Due to the videos and photos on social media, we had high expectations in advance. Well they have completely come true!! After entering, we were led to a perfect table with a beautiful overview of the restaurant. The chef came to introduce himself and then the party started. First 4 fantastic appetizers! A real party in the mouth. Then 7 courses with accompanying wines that matched the dishes perfectly. One dish was even more beautiful than the other, but the langoustine with cauliflower, the sweetbreads with peanut and the chateaubriand were really of an incredible level!! After dinner we were taken to the hotel by one of the staff members. This is a service from the restaurant that is included in the package. Very nice! In summary, we had a fantastic evening and we will definitely come back!

Gisteravond met z’n viertjes gegeten, gekozen voor het acht gangen menu. In de afgelopen dagen van meerdere mensen al goede berichten gehoord. Restaurant ligt centraal in Loenen. Parkeren is wat onduidelijk, straat is gedeeltelijk een blauwe zone tot een bepaalde tijd. Bij binnenkomst even gevraagd en voor de zekerheid blauwe schijf geplaatst. Restaurant ziet er prachtig uit, supermooi en sfeervol. Vlotte bediening, soms wat vrijpostig, maar helemaal prima. En dan het eten. In tegenstelling tot alle fantastische reviews hier vonden wij het tegenvallen. Amuse gekunsteld, eerste gerecht met de vier landen is leuk bedacht, maar smaken niet helemaal thuis te brengen. En simpelweg teveel smaak sensaties per gerecht tegelijkertijd. Het lijkt wel alsof de chef niet kan kiezen en alles tegelijkertijd doet. De gerechten zijn overigens fantastisch opgemaakt, groot compliment. Het zal persoonlijk zijn, maar voor ons niet aan de verwachting voldaan.

Excellent food, a treat for taste buds and a great combination of flavours. Presentation was also impressive. We were especially impressed with the vegan dish, superb! My only complaint is about mocktails. We were a non drinking table and most staff didn’t know much about mocktail options. We ordered two out of three suggested and they were really mediocre, more like a soft drink with cordial than a mocktail. Otherwise highly recommended!

Gisteren met vrienden bij 't Amsterdamertje gegeten. Top!!

Fantastische middag gehad met een heerlijke lunch: perfecte smaken en alle amuses, gerechten en friandises waren kunstwerkjes op zich. Deskundige, maar bovenal zeer attente, vriendelijke en geïnteresseerde bediening die er voor wilden zorgen dat wij een hele mooie middag beleefden . En dat is gelukt 🙂

Heerlijk gegeten, fijne sfeer, leuke mensen en top ambiance. Wij komen zeker terug! Er waren twee mensen in ons gezelschap met een dieetwens en daar zijn smaakvolle alternatieven voor aangeboden.

Heerlijke avond gehad bij ‘t Amsterdammertje. Heel vriendelijk personeel, informele benadering. Wij kozen voor 7 gangen met bijpassende wijn. Alles was heerlijk en onze avond vloog voorbij. Een dikke aanrader!

De absolute top van de gastronomie. Alles klopt. Eten fantastisch, bediening persoonlijk, wijnen uitstekend. Let wel op als je buiten zit, wij werden 'getrakteerd' op wat geluk van een vogel uit de boom. Niet heel fijn als je chique uit eten bent, maar kan het restaurant niet zoveel aan doen. Tot snel!

Eten bij 't Amsterdammertje is een geweldige belevenis. Het eten is van begin tot het einde heerlijk. De opmaak is zo mooi. Heel erg knap hoe men dit elke keer weer voor elkaar krijgt. Het personeel is vriendelijk en attent. Een super avond.

Heerlijk gegeten met bijpassende wijnen, ook service was zeer vriendelijk, een aanrader om hier heen te gaan.

Echt fantastisch! De smaaksensaties, opmaak, bijpassende wijnen en ambiance zijn geweldig. Ook de setting met uitzicht op de keuken en de vriendelijke kundige chef die zijn werk erg gedisciplineerd uitvoerde is een feest om naar te kijken.

Op en top genieten gedurende de hele avond. Dit is een restaurant waar je zeker 4 uur lang zal zitten, maar geen moment te lang lijkt. De gangen zijn zorgvuldig bereid en geweldig van smaak, dit alles gecomplementeerd met bijbehorende wijnen. Mocht je geen alcohol drinken wees niet getreurd want de smaak van het eten maakt het zeker goed. De sfeer in het restaurant is uitstekend, en erg mooi ingericht. Meer zal ik er niet over zeggen je zal het toch echt zelf moeten ervaren, dus ga er vooral langs om je te laten verwennen!

Bij aankomst werden wij netjes ontvangen en naar tafel begeleid. Hierna kwam (neem ik aan) de chef aan tafel om onze keuze voor het aantal gangen af te stemmen. Wij kozen voor 8-gangen met bijpassende wijnen. Als aftrap mogen genieten van een heerlijke bubbel, welke op aanraden van het huis is geserveerd. Tevens nog kunnen genieten van wat brood met bijpassende dipjes/smeersels. Hierna kwamen op gepaste snelheid de gangen door. Waarbij nagenoeg ieder gang een voortreffelijke smaak had. Een enkele was niet onze favoriet, maar dat lag puur aan onze smaak. De bereiding was namelijk uitstekend. De bijpassende wijnen hadden zo een ieder eigen karakter en paste zeer goed bij de gerechten. Een klein aandachtspuntje was dat wij de friandises (ik dacht van het huis, maar dat bleek achteraf niet zo te zijn) met koffie al kregen voor de laatste gang. Wij zelf waren ook even in vertwijfeling en constateerde dit. Gelukkig was men zelf hier ook achter gekomen en kwam de laatste gang nog na. In totaliteit heerlijk gegeten. De gerechten waren perfect en de service was zeer vriendelijk. De totale beleving 5 sterren. De service als 4 sterren. Dit in verband met het genoemde aandachtspunt.

Het world trip arrangement (6 gangen diner inclusief amuses en bijpassende wijnen) was een top beleving. Mooie verfijnde gerechten en smaakvolle bijpassende wijnen. Bediening was erg vriendelijk en professioneel. Daarnaast een hele warme en sfeervolle zaak.

Heerlijk eten in een gezellige ambiance. Geen 'over the top' gedoe, maar met sterwaardig eten en amicale bediening. Meer hoeft het niet te zijn!

Geweldig. We hebben daar uur of 3 gezeten. Uitstekend gerechten, amuses en presentatie. Ik wou toch wat betere hulp met wijnen

Zeer gastvrij ontvangen, het personeel is vriendelijk en professioneel. Eten is verrassend, mooi, lekker en professioneel uitgeserveerd. Echter vonden wij het best hectisch, veel personeel wat constant voorbij loopt. Rumoerig zelfs zo erg dat je de muziek niet hoort waardoor er alleen bepaalde klanken hoorbaar blijven wat irritant klinkt. Beter geen muziek opzetten dan. Dus qua eten en bediening zeker sterwaardig maar voor je rust of romantiek moet je daar niet zijn

Het 6-gangenmenu was onweerstaanbaar lekker. 't Kost wat, maar dan heb je ook wat. 't Amsterdammertje serveert uitstekend bereide gerechten en dient met zorg op. Hier wordt Horeca met een hoofdletter "H" bedreven. Hou je van culinair genieten, een hele avond lang? 't Amsterdammertje mag dan op je shortlist komen te staan.
