Deliziamo Private chefs & Private dining in Bussum Centrum

No catering received, but spent €2,748.58: We were looking for a caterer for our wedding. Eventually, we ended up at Deliziamo, and after a very nice and pleasant conversation with Max, we decided to hire him. We had a lot of confidence in him and were really looking forward to a great collaboration. After giving our approval and making a 50% down payment (€2,748.58), there was further email contact regarding our wishes and ideas. Max was going to help us with the drinks, appetizers, and dessert, and it seemed like everything would work out. After a few weeks, we discovered that the wedding venue we had initially had in mind unfortunately wasn't going to work for us after all. This meant we had to switch gears quickly and look for a new location that was available on short notice. Fortunately, we found a beautiful replacement spot, and the problem seemed solved. There was only one new challenge: at the new location, external catering for drinks and appetizers was unfortunately not allowed. Only the dessert was possible. Naturally, we felt very sorry for Max. In a detailed email, we explained the situation and asked if we could convert the order to just the dessert, so that he could still handle part of the assignment. Additionally, we proposed to simply reimburse the hours or costs he had already incurred. After all, we felt it would be unpleasant if he were to become the victim of this situation. Then, suddenly, things went quiet. I tried calling Max twice more (and left a voicemail twice) to explain it verbally, because I understood that it was unpleasant for him as well. However, for two weeks, we received no response. For us, that radio silence was a sign that we had to pull the plug completely; it no longer felt right to work together in this way. We therefore sent him an email stating that we wanted to dissolve the agreement completely. Because the wedding was scheduled for over four months later, there was more than enough time for Max to take on other assignments or cancel matters. In that respect, apart from hours worked and any potential costs, we should receive our deposit (or a large part of it) back. We therefore asked him to refund the deposit. We received an emotional response to this quite quickly, in which, in short, we were declared crazy. Eventually, Max agreed: he said he would refund the deposit and subsequently sent us a credit note. However, after multiple reminders and emails, and almost three months later, we still have not received the money. So, we paid the full deposit of €2,748.58, but received absolutely nothing in return. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that no general terms and conditions were ever sent, signed, or found anywhere on his website (at the time of writing this review). Therefore, no agreement was ever reached on the fact that Deliziamo is allowed to keep the (full) deposit. It feels as if we, as a couple, have simply been robbed of €2,748.58. It really hurts us that someone who initially comes across as so cordial drops you like this and chooses purely his own pockets as soon as the situation changes. We are writing this to warn others: be extremely careful with large down payments from this party. If everything goes well, Max is friendly, but in the event of setbacks, all agreements become void and you lose your money.

We got a delicious sandwich for lunch today! Highly recommended. We will be back.

Great coffee, great sandwich, nice and authentic

A delicious 4-course BBQ menu for 10 people, specially created for us by Max. The original dishes were already prepared, so we only had to finish them off with his helpful BBQ tips. Our guests loved it, and it was a huge success. Thanks, Max! ---

Yesterday, I bought several delicious BBQ items at this new BBQ shop in Bussum. They're truly top-notch. A nearly 2kg piece of beef (rump steak) with a yellow marinade and jalapeños was truly superb. The meat was still pink inside and absolutely delicious. I've recommended it to all my guests, and I'll definitely be back. The concept of buying everything you need for a BBQ is truly ideal. A real asset to Bussum and the surrounding area. The owner was very friendly and showed us around the shop.

Fantastic, but the cream sauce with the tartufo et fungi ravioli could be a bit thicker.

I picked up 4 meals and the quality was excellent. Highly recommended!

Owner Max provided us with a wonderful dinner on our wedding day. Everyone loved it. Our guests were very impressed with the varied dishes and delicious flavors. Reed er toevallig langs en had het niet eerder gezien en was nog in dubio over het avondeten. Is weinig kwaliteit in deze contreien en voor je het weet ben je 15 euro kwijt voor junkfood en wat daar niet voor door mag gaan, is helaas ook van bedenkelijke kwaliteit. Maar goed, dit was uit de kunst! Heerlijk focaccia om de saus tot de laatste druppel om te kunnen maken. We koken zelf graag (nou je mijn vrouw dan :)) maar dit is zeer de moeite waard. Hier komen we vaker!
