Very nice experience, I highly recommend it.

Have been here 5-6 times already. Quality of food is excellent. Ambiente is nice. Service is not always on the same level though (especially if you are with bigger groups). Sufficient parking (not always the case in Hoofddorp). One of the better places in Hoofddorp, hence a 5-Star rating.

For my high-end video event and book launch, I was looking for a venue that matched my brand in terms of appearance, hospitality, and quality, and I can tell you: Restaurant Den Burgh more than delivered. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the atmosphere and especially by the staff. Warm, professional, and genuinely thoughtful. The quality of the food… wow! The appetizers, the coffee, everything served in between; refined, tasty, and stylish. My clients immediately noticed: "Wow, this isn't your average event lunch." Exactly what I wanted. The venue and the food reflected my work, and it felt right down to the last detail. Also practical: ample parking, easily accessible, and a professional atmosphere that exudes calm and class. The food was nice and the presentation was good. However, service-wise it was quite nonchalant for a place like this. We asked whether we could place an order to one of the waiters who served drinks. She replied that she will get us someone. However, we still waited a while, meanwhile they were chitchatting instead. (It was not busy at the moment.) One of the staff went to another table instead of ours while we we waiting for a longer time.

Th spot is nice. Very convenient parking as well. Unfortunately, for us, the good experience needed there. Food was elaborate but mediocre. Half of the salmon starter was inedible. The mean for the main dish was very chewy. Despite seeing our empty drink glasses, waiters never checked if we wanted more drinks or never checked if all was ok soon after delivering each course or when half the portions were returned. If it was a cheap and cheerful restaurant, no problem, but we were surprised with the meh’ness given the supposed quality of the place.

I've only been there twice for lunch, so I haven't tried the dinner menu steak, but the steak sandwich was delicious. The bread before the meal was also delicious. It's a bit pricey, but I'd like to try the dinner menu.

Nice meal, quite expensive. Staff is okay, but not overly friendly Business like atmosphere, not suitable for an intimate dinner.

Service was good once we were seated. Food took a while to arrive and the risotto was lukewarm.

Tasty food in a nice setting. Started of with a nice tartar, followed by a grilled fish and closed with a tartelett. All was nicely served and very tasty. Good wine choice a d great service. Overall pleasant evening.

Fantastic restaurant and very friendly, attention to detail was good and service was done with a smile and polite at all times. Food was first class and the three fish dishes were of fantastic quality and great taste.

We had a fantastic dinner at Restaurant Den Burgh. The oysters and tuna tartare were incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The steak tartare was rich and well-balanced. For mains, I had the wolffish — perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. My companion really enjoyed the Angus steak, which was tender and full of depth. Portions were generous but refined, and the service was friendly and professional. The restaurant is beautifully located in a renovated farmhouse, which gives it a warm and elegant charm. It’s easy to reach, right next to the highway, and there’s plenty of free parking — no hassle like you’d have in the city. A perfect spot for a relaxed and high-quality night out. Highly recommended!

Prime location for business meetings.

Den Burgh, I have been there quite a few times for dinners and meetings. Every time a pleasure. Good food, close to the highway, ample parking, lovely garden and also a great ambiance inside. Add to that the relaxed attitude of the wait staff and the communication with humor of Jurriaan about my reservation with ultimately five dropouts (story of the 10 little negroes, freely based on Agatha Christie). Heartily recommended.

This is a surprise! The restaurant is located near Schiphol Airport, close to Hoofddorp. Parking is free and easy and the building has a lot of character (old barn?). The ambiance is relaxed, lots of nice seating areas to keep the conversation private. Food was very nice, service attentive. All in all a big surprise; will definitely come back!

Een restaurant zonder ambiance en met plichtmatige bediening. Aangesproken met jullie (gasten zichtbaar 60+). Bediening heeft geen ‘eigen’ tafels dus of niet/laat aangesproken of dubbel. Voor brood vooraf extra betalen. Huiswijn (Viognier) voor maar liefst €13,50 per glas. De witte wijn was, ook na rappelleren, niet op temperatuur. 3 kleine reepjes iberico-ham bij de risotto €7 toeslag. Die verder met grote ‘bonken’ selderie werd geserveerd, hetgeen niets aan smaak toevoegde. Overprijsd en zeer matige kwaliteit.

A really unusual restaurant with very good service and an even better wine list

Had a delicious lunch here for the 4th time last Thursday. This location is fine for us (we live in Zoetermeer) and we then meet up with other hotel guests (who have now become good friends) who live in Amsterdam, Heemstede and Bloemendaal.

A gem in Hoofddorp that ticks all boxes: quality food, great service and an amazing ambiance. Visiting this restaurant with my team was an absolutely pleasurable experience. Each and every one of us had a lovely time during the hours we spent there and were so satisfied with the deliciousness of every dish!!! Huge kudos to the team for the decor and the cleanness, kudos to the waiters/ waitresses on their superb service and kudos to the chefs for delivery such magnificent rich flavours on our plates. This was my first but definitely not my last time visiting here. The Rib-Eye Steal, the Mushroom Risotto, the mushroom side in truffles and the pumpkin chips. Wow, just a few things off the menu that I’d recommend having when visiting. Thank you team, and see you again soon!❤️

Friendly service, good food. Only point of criticism; Even in more chic places you can have a sandwich as a lunch option. It doesn't all have to be over the top.

Just had a drink and a snack. Prices are high. Atmosphere is very nice. The benches outside could use some loose, durable back cushions. Because the seat is very deep. But that doesn't seem like a problem to me. No Waste Decoration is happy to deliver them :)

Considering Its oné Michelin star, I would expect much more polite service. But food was very good and portion reasonable. Once in summer seated outside in a beautiful garden , unfortunately the planes above are very disturbing.

Het restaurant beschikt over een groot sfeervol restaurant met ruim terras en een uitstekende keuken met klassieke en verfijnde gerechten. Daarnaast hebben zij een aantal sfeervolle zeer goed geoutilleerde vergaderzalen.

Consistently high standard of dishes, friendly service, beautiful location. It is a restaurant where you will return again and again and you will want to go there just for the dessert!

Fish was a bit tasteless and service wasn't great! Food was not ready yet or plates had already been removed (chip bowl still three quarters full). I also think it is very expensive here in relation to what is offered.

A great transition from Portugal back to USA. Friendly, funny, helpful wait staff. Small menu, but all our dishes were excellent. Housed in a restored farm building, the restaurant is across the street from a large office park, but looks out over farmland. They have their own garden and serve some of their own produce. Nice outdoor dining. If you are doing a layover at Schiphol Airport, this is a great place to eat - certainly better than the hotel fare, referred to by our waiter as "Fabrik Food". Within walking distance of many of the airport area hotels.

Love ❤️ this Michelan star restaurant. Returned twice on my short trip to Hoofddorp Netherlands. High Value and Quality ( 5 star) Dinners under $35.00. We ordered salads, wine, a main entree and even shared a fun dessert for under 55.00 per person. It is next to a beautiful canal walk with little lambs and wild tulips! ...Nice farm to table views from restaurant of the canal. ... An incredible meal and view after an evening stroll.

The restaurant is set in a refurbished barn, which is spacious and modern while also maintaining It's historical charm. There is a lovely terrace which is perfect for warmer days. Enjoyed a set menu as part of a dinner with colleagues. The restaurant has a nice ambience and the service was fine, though was both hurried (when we were being helped; they seemed to want to rush away) and slow (we were often left waiting and needing help), creating a paradoxical dining experience. The food was delicious and plentiful.

Our first time in this restaurant and it certainly won't be our last! Delicious food and the service is quick, cordial and attentive! The dishes have a refined taste and the portions are normal. You certainly won't leave hungry! We also really liked the ambiance, even though it is a large restaurant, it is not cold. We would love to come back!

Had an amazing meal a few weeks ago! What a great spot close to the A4. Eel, tartare and bouillabaisse, what more could you want? Pieter the Sommelier in particular really knows his trade. Fantastic Saumur on the map and beautiful cellar. Compliments!

Side note, there are a lot of business dinners, so keep that in mind. Not to mention, you don't want to miss this experience. Absolutely expected more from the food. The first course lacked flavor and the Jerusalem artichoke seemed undercooked and was too chunky for my taste. The main was fine, but I definitely have had (and even made) better risottos. The service was fine. Definitely don’t go if you are in a rush.

Far too expensive, a bottle of wine that was recommended simply cost €80 without this being said. 1 person could not fit into a large group for which we had to pay €50. The food was also disappointing.

Ik heb gemengde gevoelens over onze avond bij Den Burgh. Het eten was goed, hoewel het hoofdgerecht van één van ons niet erg warm was, evenmin als de koffie. Maar het was voor ons te koud in het restaurant en de bediening was niet onvriendelijk maar wel onpersoonlijk. We kregen bovendien geen wijnkaart aangeboden, en er werd ons ook niet gevraagd hoe gaar wij het vlees wilden hebben. Het maakte op mij een ongeïnteresseerde indruk. Mijn man moest zelf maar zoeken naar zijn jas, die een personeelslid had weggehangen…

We eat here a few times a year for a farewell dinner or team outing or work anniversary. A nice place to sit, tasty dishes for business lunches.

Nice atmosphere,, they are cooking food so don’t expect to have fast service l. compared to the food quantities I see price reasonable I had stack sandwich, it was amazing and teasty 👍🏽
