Eetcafe het Zwaantje in Zwanenburg

I was very disappointed with the food, especially for the price. The staff is friendly, and it's a nice restaurant. But I thought the food was just okay, nothing special. Maybe I went on an unlucky day and got the wrong impression.

What a fantastic party that was! What excellent culinary care from the staff. We received such a friendly welcome, too.

Fantastic! We came on a Saturday evening at 8:30 pm, a group of three. The food was delicious and served quickly, and the restaurant had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere! Plus, the staff were really friendly 👍🏼

A place as charming inside as it is outside. We arrived as a party of three at what seemed to be the end of service, and the chef turned the stoves back on for us. Furthermore, the welcome was heartwarming; the waitresses were extremely polite and offered excellent advice. The menu is beautiful and well-presented, and the dishes are delicious. I highly recommend it.

Yesterday, a group of 10 had a fantastic meal at Het Zwaantje. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Good service, and a great, affordable menu. Very diverse, with fish, meat, and vegetarian options. The beers were delicious. Delicious, affordable wine, also available by the glass. In short, highly recommended.

What a wonderful restaurant and such lovely staff. We had a wonderful evening and a fantastic meal. The sea bass, in particular, was heavenly.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends with dinner at Het Zwaantje. What wonderful hospitality! We all had a wonderful selection from the menu, and despite it being busy, they even catered to those with allergies. Fantastic! Definitely a place to return to.

We went on October 4, 2025, with a large group. It was packed and very suitable for everyone. The service staff was also excellent. It was very impressive how everything was arranged so efficiently.

We ordered a three-course meal. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We went for the first time last night, and the atmosphere was so cozy and the service very friendly. The food was super delicious, the meat was truly wonderful. The starter was so delicious, everything was great. What was really nice was that there was no pushy fuss, they came to your table right away. Very friendly service. Delicious food. We had the three-course menu for €34.50 and it's highly recommended! This restaurant is highly recommended! We're from Belgium, but if we ever come back on vacation, we'll definitely go back!

A lovely, homey restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The terrace on the garden side is very nice, especially on a sunny day. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and professional. The food was okay, but nothing special, definitely not a culinary highlight. For what it was, I found it quite pricey. A glass of wine was around €8, which seems expensive for a restaurant of this kind. Unfortunately, I forgot my phone, so I wasn’t able to take any pictures.

Where should I start... 'Eetcafe' het zwaantje more eatery cafeteria het zwaantje. As if I walked into grandma's house, furniture old and dusty (didn't feel comfortable) + holes in the chairs. It took a while before we got a table. The starter as an amuse so small. And during the main course I think the chefs were more busy watching football than cooking. They would probably still be at school. We didn't have dessert because we didn't dare. I just had to give 1 star but for me it was 0 stars.

Yesterday the two of us had a delicious meal at Het Zwaantje in Zwanenburg. Smoked duck breast, beautifully finely sliced ​​with Japanese style and good quality tuna tataki, followed by the fish of the day, a whole Turbot (not too big, nice size with ditto price) skinned and deliciously crispy fried with homemade ravigotte sauce and a tasty green salad and finally a homemade creme brulee, flanked by a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. We enjoyed it again and are already looking forward to the Valentine's menu.

Unfortunately a lot of money for little food, small turbot, very small green salad. We had to order the fries separately, it could have been better included. Too bad, but it was a lot of fun with my friends

Even on a Monday evening it was fun. Nice and friendly service, food was delicious! Taken fish dish of the day; Dorade fillet, ray fillet and a wild (giant) prawn, delicious stir-fried vegetables. My partner had a Thai curry dish. Top!!!

A small facade in a location where you would not immediately expect it, but inside and in the garden at the back the food is extremely tasty and pleasant. Very good and friendly service.

I give the atmosphere 4 stars, very cozy with a large loft with 2 beautiful chandeliers, only the acoustics are really bad. Lots of hard materials used. My father-in-law has a hearing aid and is bothered by a lot of talking noise. The service is neat and tidy. The menu is clear and neat, but the vegetables are not on it. My table companions had steak (and that's about it). The meat is cooked well and is sufficient. I had Yellow Curry Pan. Then you really get a cast iron pan with fried vegetables, chicken thighs and shrimps. Delicious, highly recommended. For the other dishes you really have to order vegetables, because otherwise you won't get them. The Sweet Potato Fries also tasted delicious. Too bad about the acoustics.

Great fun place to eat! We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent, something I have never experienced before. So observant and thoughtful! It's that we live all the way in the south, otherwise we would certainly have been regular guests there. Thank you and keep it up!

I work near 't Zwaantje and have walked past it hundreds of times. Now I finally reserved a table with my wife. When we entered we were received in a friendly manner and during the meal we were struck by the way we interacted with the customers. What a nice atmosphere and attention for everyone. Then we also had a delicious meal. The Ray as fish of the day was superb and the cheese fondue was also very tasty. We will definitely come back again, perhaps for lunch, which has recently become possible.

We only came here because it happened to be one of the only restaurants open near our hotel but it was amazing!! Every single dish we ordered was so good, and the staff were so friendly and helpful to us who don't speak Dutch. They helped us choose what to order to and let us know what foods are more typical to the area. I would definitely go back!

Ik heb een gehoor apparaat dan als er muziek en de klanten praten is te veel geluid ik moet zoms vragen wat zeg je, maar dat ben ik

Menukaart niet verrassend, had vooraf de burata, die viel erg tegen, groot bord met in de midden een kleine burata met een hoop sla er omheen die niet aangemaakt was met een dressing waardoor smakeloos, als hoofdgerecht de vis van de dag, kabeljauw, deze was goed van smaak, mijn partner had gekozen voor de gamba's, helaas niet goed bereid(waren nog rauw), mocht wat anders bestellen maar de lol was er van af om dit te doen, gelijk geen trek meer, ( gerecht werd wel van de rekening gehaald, had ook niet anders verwacht eerlijk gezegd), hadden een fles chardonnay erbij besteld, goed van smaak maar de prijs wat het koste niet waard, toetje: gekozen voor de friandaise, 3 kleine toetjes, dat was acheraf eigenlijk het lekkerds van de avond al met al gezellige avond gehad vanwege de tafelgenoten maar niet een restaurant waar we terug zouden komen, aan de bediening lag het niet, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam

Supervriendelijke eigenaren die meteen klaarstonden toen er een probleem was met de trouwlocatie van het bruidspaar - dat eigenlijk alleen de receptie zou houden in het Zwaantje. Er werd ruimte gemaakt en alles werd zo ingericht dat de plechtigheid in het Zwaantje kon plaatsvinden, zonder daarvoor iets in rekening te brengen! Ook de receptie was super geregeld, met heerlijke hapjes in een gezellige sfeer. Van buiten zie je niet dat het een prachtige vide is in het restaurant en ook een heerlijk terras. Heel sfeervol allemaal. Een aanrader!

Erg lekker gegeten met een groep. Makkelijk te bereiken, maar je moet niet langs het water rijden, ivm bekeuring. Verder is het goed bereikbaar en genoeg gratis parkeren in de buurt. Service is erg goed en eten is erg lekker.

We pre-booked this place for a large family dinner and could not have been more pleased! The service was outstanding - nothing was too much trouble - special thanks to Ronald for taking care of our group! Food and atmosphere were also lovely! Highly recommended!

Heerlijk eetcafé, super vriendelijke bediening en het eten is werkelijk heerlijk. We hadden de wafels en chicken als een voorgerecht om te delen. Dit is wel aan te raden want de porties zijn enorm! Als hoofdgerecht beiden de burger. Super lekkere burger en wederom enorme portie! Als dessert de crumble en een scroppino, allebei ook super. Zeker een aanrader :-)

Always a fun evening out and the best quality of food in Zwanenburg, if we have something to celebrate we always go here. Steak tartaar is so good. Dorada is full of flavor. Paflova is a great way to end your meal.

Heerlijk gegeten! Snelle en probleemloze, vriendelijke bediening. Goed gevulde asperges soep en op gloeiend hete borden geserveerde tournedos, waar je mes zo doorheen zakt. Smelt bijna op je tong. Ook de kalfssukkade was erg lekker. Komen hier geheid terug!

Wir hatten keinen Tisch reserviert und den letzten Platz (stimmte wirklich) an der Tür bekommen. Außerordentlich freundliche Bedienung, sensationelles Essen zu angemessenen etwas höheren Preisen. Dorade sehr zu empfehlen. Ebenso die gemischten Vorspeisen. Jedenfalls lohnend.

Heerlijk smakelijk eten, gevarieerde keuze, en zeer vriendelijk personeel

Très bel endroit. La carte en anglais n'existe pas mais grâce à Google nous nous sommes débrouillés. Le serveur était très sympathique et nous avons passé une très belle soirée. Nous avons choisi le poisson du jour (dorade) et une sorte de ragout de bœuf. C'est copieux, bon et très bien présenté. Très bon rapport qualité prix. De plus, le cadre est particulièrement agréable, avec un joli mobilier et une déco moderne.

Gereserveerd om 19.00 uur, we zijn hartelijk begroet door de eigenaar en kregen alle tijd om een voortreffelijk 5 gangen menu smakelijk te verorberen. Beslist restaurant waardig. Tot besluit een Irish koffie, helemaal top We konen zeker terug .

Super, ze noemen het een eetcafé, maar is zeker restaurant waardig. Gezellig en de eigenaar is altijd bereid om even een praatje te maken. We komen zeker terug!
