Dignita Westerpark in Spaarndammer- en Zeeheldenbuurt

Great restaurant! We did our new year's company breakfast here. Awesome theme for a good start of the new year (organic, biological & healthy). You are able to come here with up-to 12 people on one table. That was a doubt we initially had due to the smaller picture, but in the end that turned into a positive with regards to the atmosphere.

What a gem... the coffee is great! Staff very friendly, but can I just say something about the tomato soup. I asked yesterday about the soup of the day, and the gentleman said; tomato soup. I was disappointed but he said I really had to taste it. Well, I have never tasted such a delicious tomato soup!! I will come back often for that. The kids received a delicious pancake with fruit in the shape of a face. Double enjoyment. Thank you!!

The restaurant had a warm welcome, and the staff were friendly. The menu looked promising, and my eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon arrived quickly and looked great. However, it was quite greasy especially the potato patty, all the dishes were not salty. I asked for plain bread, but it took over 10 minutes, and I received toasted, buttered bread with seeds instead. Shortly after leaving, I felt unwell, with stomach pain and nausea, and later vomited several times. I rarely have food issues, so I believe the greasiness was the cause. This is just a suggestion for the restaurant to ensure the quality and balance of their dishes.

Very cozy café specialized in breakfast and brunch. You can find freshly baked brioches and a good assortment of pancakes, eggs, toasts, granola, ... The place is not too small but during the weekends a reservation is manadatory to make sure to find a seat. Recommended

Fantastic menu! Delicious choices which are both healthy and interesting! I ordered the zucchini fritters and I really enjoyed it! Staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is super relaxing, highly recommended!

After being to Dignita in the center we tried the Westerpark location and were very impressed with the service and attention to detail. The food was delicious and I highly recommend a visit !

Decided to stop by after shopping for breakfast, and I was not disappointed. I was immediately greeted by a lovely waiter who was exceptionally friendly and attentive. He brought over some water for me immediately whilst I browsed the menu and specials. I ordered an orange juice which was freshly squeezed and utterly delicious. I then ordered eggs my way - two poached eggs on homemade bread toasted, with a side of crispy bacon. It came quickly and tasted super fresh. I spent I think around €18 which was a worthy cost. Thank you Dignita for making my last day in Holland go off to a wonderful start ✨

We chose to dine at Dignita for brunch as it was walking distance from Fabrique des Lumineres. Despite it being a busy Sunday morning, our server made the effort to accommodate our party of four. She was very informative and patiently answered our questions. The food was presented beautifully, and the Benny Boy with avocado was delicious. I just wish it was bigger! Unlike we did, make sure you make a reservation as it is very busy. Would highly recommend this brunch spot.

A really nice place, advocates for the preservation of the environment. Super nice and helpful staff. Really good food. When we were just renovating the street it was a bit noisy, the staff made sure to apologize for that in advance. For the Israelis - the place is probably in an immigrant neighborhood or something, we saw a little more Palestinian flags around, a little more cousins, but the restaurant did not have an unpleasant atmosphere or anything like that at all.

Only vegan lunch dish on the menu was very underwhelming; small portion, uninteresting flavours, oversalted. The atmosphere wasn’t anything to write home about either, I will not return here.

I’ve been a regular at this place for a long time and, despite what happened today, I will continue to come here and recommend it to my friends. However, I kindly ask the team to be more mindful of their customers’ time. I had set aside an hour before my flight to enjoy breakfast at my favorite spot. The waitress took my order, but after waiting 40 minutes with no food, I asked another staff member about it. I was told, “the food is coming right away.” I waited another 20 minutes, but nothing arrived. Unfortunately, I had to leave, so I went to the counter to pay for my coffee and juice. To my surprise, they told me that the issue was that I supposedly hadn’t ordered anything. But I’m not crazy—this isn’t my first time at a café 😅. When you say, “Can I have Eggs Benny with avocado and bacon, please?” and the response is “yes” followed by “with bacon?”—that sounds like an order to me. But when I approached the counter, the whole team started gaslighting me, insisting I hadn’t ordered anything. Then they just said, “well, it was a misunderstanding, it could happen.” And I agreed, yes, misunderstandings do happen. But because of your misunderstanding, I lost an hour of my time and still left without my breakfast.

Lovely cafe with amazing gluten free bread ( why we visited) and tasty decaf coffee too. Things if found hard to find elsewhere. Really yummy brunch.

I used to love going there with a Benny Avocado as my to go choice! But they have definitely changed their recipe/way of preparing over the last 3/4 months. The quality of the food is no longer worth the price in my opinion. The atmosphere of the place remains really nice and the service is very good!

Friendly and efficient staff, tasty food with the best name for a dish (Chook Norris :)) ever known to mankind and great location (slightly outside of the center and close to the Westerpark for a stroll thereafter) made our afternoon a pleasure. Dig the social concept behind too. Would def go back!

A very delicious brunch (Benny boy and Forest dweller my favorites). This location feels more chilled than Vondelpark one, eg less touristy, and has a nice sidewalk terrace! And always top notch service 🌈😎

The food is delicious, have a good quality, it’s nice presented and the staff is very kind. That’s why they are always busy! I also had ordered their delivery in another moment and the quality was the same. It’s not a cheap place, so I save it for special moments! :)

Food is really good but PLEASE start serving regular size portion cakes. This is a joke. €6.25 for this tiny piece. Apart from that, it says that it closes at 5pm but 4.30 all chairs are up, you can’t even have a coffee

I eat here regularly because I love their food and the philosophy behind it. I normally really like the service until now. They didn't look up to say hi when you enter the place. They looked uninterested when asking and taking my order and in general were just grumpy. I didn't feel welcome at all. I hope the next time I go, they had a change of attitude and understand that being friendly is part of the experience...not just the food

Already went to the Dignita vondelpark so I wanted to try this one out as well. Same great quality, big portions & friendly service

We had a delicious brunch here. They updated their menu and now are offering a few alternatives to the classic avocado toast and eggs Benedict so super appreciated ! Both the kimchi toastie and pancakes were tasty and with pretty big portions. Inside can get a bit noisy when busy.

What an unexpectedly nice place! So I've walked past here at least 50 times, and from the outside you see a simple terrace... and you can't really look inside, so that's why I've never been there. Invited to have lunch there today and what a nice place!. The inside is a lot bigger than you would expect. We were lucky that the table next to us was empty. Otherwise I would really say that the tables would be too close together (less than half a meter)... so you would almost sit on each other's laps and not have much room for private conversations (perhaps a tip for dignita?). That would be my criticism... just a little more space between the tables... otherwise very nicely decorated and a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. The service is also very friendly! Not all staff can speak Dutch...but that's no problem! The dishes are delicious, but I must say that all dishes (especially considering the price) are on the small side. For example, the ciftike (or how I spell it, the poached eggs with yogurt and chili oil) is a lot of oil, a lot of yogurt... but too little egg and bread. This makes the dish slightly unbalanced. All pure and fresh dishes! you can taste that! The drinks are otherwise fine, although the coffee could have been better... I don't know if they were old beans or if the machine was poorly adjusted. But I am quite a coffee connoisseur... and the flavor notes were far from the coffee, it tasted very bitter... food recommended but small, tea and other drinks top... coffee... no bad... Overall a very nice experience, although I think if they dot the i's and cross the i's it will really become a top restaurant.

Stumbled upon this place accidentally and glad I did. Delicious and fresh brunch, great portions and very fairly priced. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This is my absolute favourite place in Amsterdam and it’s one of the reasons that I visit Amsterdam every now and then. Great food, great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Highly recommended for everyone visiting Amsterdam!

Very nice spot for brunch. Loved their menu and coffee quality. Also the vibe is super nice. Getting a table might be tough without reservation. Make sure you book in advance before going. Also, the use of laptop is limited hours. Ask them for detail.

Ate The Ay-am Chook, a bit overpriced (18.50) but delicious and also very tasty. Good place for lunch.

I love the sandwhiches and order the Chuck Norris and the Kimchi one twice a week. Every third time I get the non-veggie order or a completely different dish. I have complained about this via telephone before yet nothing has changed. I always get the money back on UberEats - but never the service fee etc.! So for many many times now I loose money and dont get the product I actually want. Every second time this went wrong then the sandwhich was sold out or the delivery option closed. This is really annoying guys please fix.

It is one of my favorite places for brunch, but I wish they bring back the Chuck Norris. As of Dec'23 they have replaced for a different sandwich and it isn't as tasty.

I have already been to the other Dignita locations and would also like to eat at this location again. This location is smaller compared to the other 2 locations, which makes it very cozy. We received a very friendly welcome and again had a delicious meal. Highlight was the Ayam Chook and the Umami Avocado. I will definitely come back again!

Wat ben ik blij met deze mensen. Ik bestel mn lunch via Uber Eats dus kan niets zeggen over de sfeer in het restaurant maar hun broodjes/lunch gerechten zijn heerlijk en origineel! Broodje Ay-am Chook Norris is een aanrader met een befaamde kick! Maar Avo Benny hier op de foto is ook een hit!

Caesar salad is zo genant weinig dat ik na een uur genoeg honger had voor een tweede lunch. Het was wel lekker, maar geen croutons oid. En je kleren/jas kunnen na afloop de was in want het stinkt allemaal naar frituur. 2 sterren want personeel was prima en smaak was oke.

Ωραίο μαγαζί . Βέβαια δέχεται μόνο κρατήσεις, όποτε πρέπει να κλείσετε τραπέζι . Ωραίο brunch ωραίος καφές . Όμορφος χώρος . Οι σερβιτόροι αρκετά ευγενικοί.

Very bad service. We literally had to ask for everything we ordered. No one ever dropped by our table to ask if we needed anything ever. We were passed by like 10 times when we were just trying to get a waitresses attention. They would never even look at the table. The food was not bad, it was tasty, but wasnt amazing. I found for example the courgette pancakes quite dry but the yogurt sauce complimented that well, however there just wasnt enough of it. I also thought the dishes were not filling enough, a little cheap starch would go a long way to be more full. Overall not a good experience and definitely wont return.

Tasty breakfast, good Coffee, nice place

We went here as a large group of 10 people with no reservation and were very lucky to get a table as I can imagine this place gets packed on the weekend. The waitress was super friendly, attentive and the food from all of us was perfectly timed and came at the same time! We all enjoyed our food, from the Cilibir and focaccia, the avocado Benny eggs, the granola bowl, everything was very delicious and it was also super nicely plated! Definitely recommend this place for a chilled brunch.

We visited on a sunday and it was not crowded and we were served well. The classic chook norris was one of the best sandwiches I ever had! So so tasty, filling and the bread is delicious, worthy of the high price. Highly recommend this place!!

Wat een hidden spot in de Spaarndammerbuurt vlakbij Westerpark! Genoten van een heerlijke brunch in een gezellige omgeving met hele vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Ook suoergoed dat de winst naar een goed doel gaat.

Superlekker gegeten! De Dignita Breakfast is een heel goede deal! De bediening was aardig en snel. Dit is echt een aanrader als je op zoek bent naar een lekkere brunch.

Hatte den BennyBoy Bacon, war wirklich super lecker, auch der BennyBoy Avocado (auf dem Bild zu sehen) war wirklich hervorragend. Leider durfte man drausen nicht rauchen (vlt für manche auch super). insgesamt eine tolle erfahrung!

Crowded place, delicious and expensive than average food

Same quality as in the other Dignità branches but with a more spacious terrace. The service was also better than in the Vondelpark one. The food, as usual, was great. Definitely recommended!

I was a little hesitant with the mixed reviews but I actually had a great experience at Dignita. It was a Sunday so I was worried it would be crowded but we made reservations. This location is cute, very Sunday brunch feeling and the service was great. You can also sit outside and they also do take away. The coffee is from Rum Baba (love that place) so that was a nice surprise. Food was delicious, and the wait was not too long.
