Dikke Boterham in Centrum

The two of us had the option for a big breakfast. Everything was absolutely great. The two ladies provided an excellent breakfast. Everything fresh. They were also very pleasant. If I had to mention a downside, I would say that the second cup of tea/coffee should be included with breakfast. The first cup was finished before the delicious freshly made stuff arrived on the table

Where a baguette is still crunchy... Healthy baguette, can recommend it. Also a big plus is that they don't deliver, otherwise they would do it every day.

Walked by during my frantic search for a nice breakfast, turned around 100 meters further because the smell made me jealous. The ball sandwich is exactly what I needed, what a delicious sandwich.

Can’t wait to come back! Hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in recent memory. Ossenworst open-faced sandwich was delightful and cookie croissant is life changing. Exceptionally kind team and exceptionally delicious food. My new favorite spot!

I regularly have lunch at Dikke Boterham and the atmosphere is really GREAT! The hospitality is very nice. The sandwiches are always freshly filled! I can really recommend the Steentilburger, it is very tasty.

The food was really delicious! Everything was all super fresh. We will definitely come back again, from now on this is one of my favorite lunch spots in Groningen. The service was also incredibly kind to the children (and to us).

Super nice place, definitely worth a visit (or more)! Everything is made fresh for you for a very nice price. I had to wait a while (came at peak time), but it was worth it. A large slice of soft bread with fresh roast beef from the butcher around the corner and good hot barista coffee, something I don't experience very often. Staff very friendly and take time for the customers, you can see that they enjoy what they do and rightly so! Be sure to visit us more often👋🏻

Visit in July Had breakfast here after an early appointment in the city and it was great. I didn't know this place was such a nice place. They are also open right on time. My group ordered a cake and yogurt with fruit. My breakfast (toasted Italian cheese - unfortunately I didn't take a photo). Both were great and affordable. Highly recommended

An insider tip, the breakfast is really great. The service was simply top, the menu was also available in German. I can only recommend it.

First coffee came in quickly, second one took at least 20 minutes. We also sat with the used cups for at least the same amount of time, as many servers passed us, empty-handed, back behind the kassa or into the kitchen. The place is tiny so, it speaks of poor service when this happens.

Warum im Hotel frühstücken, wenn es die leckersten Stullen nur ein paar Meter weiter gibt? Man wird freundlich begrüßt und es wird alles frisch zubereitet. Es wird liebevoll serviert und man kann auf dem Weg noch leckeres Gebäck, auch homemade, mitnehmen. Beim Apfelkuchen ist aber Vorsicht angeraten: Suchtgefahr. Wir kommen im Frühling wieder❤️

Super leuke vrouw en goed broodje voor een fijn en gezellige lunch

Tienen geven doen we niet maar wel een dikke negen. Kim en haar team hebben een uniek concept opgezet voor de stad Groningen. Alles wordt of zelf gemaakt of lokaal ingekocht. Het brood bijv. van bakker Crebas en het vlees van de stadsslager (haar buurman). Het gebak is heerlijk. Daarnaast is Kim een gezellige tante die ook de sfeer maakt.

Super mooie gezellige zaak! Persoonlijke benadering. Kim had voor ons werk een aantal cupcakes gemaakt en prachtig gepersonaliseerd. Iedereen was helemaal onder de indruk. Ook de ijskoffie was heerlijk!

Dikke Boterham, Superleuk restaurantje. Niet te groot, de werknemers zijn de toppers, heel sociaal en je kan heerlijk met ze kletsen!🤩 ennn de brownie bij de koffie🤩 (een van de lekkerste die k in tijden gehad heb) en de tosti die ik had was om te smullen! Zeker een aanrader om een keer een keer heen te gaan🤩

The interior of Dikke Boterham is small, but decorated in a cute, playful way. The staff is very nice, and they served the food very fast. I've ordered sandwich of the day with a glass of orange juice. The juice was fresh, but actually quite a small amount. The sandwich was perfectly average - okay but not extraordinary, and quite small for the price. I've paid 11 for both, and for that price I can score better/bigger lunch in Gro.
