Ordered some stews here and they were delicious!

Picked up food only. So no opinion about atmosphere. But looks fine. The food is great. If you want convenience but don't want spare ribs, burgers or Chinese… this is the place. “Just” good food. Enough and varied choice, especially in the side dishes. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Made it three times now. And always tasty. Next time I will include a photo 😊

Very nice lunch restaurant with lots of typical dishes in a good location. The food was really very good and the service too. We sat at the window and could look out.

Delicious sauerkraut stew. Seasoned just right, so it's not bland but not too spicy either. You notice that the potatoes are of good quality. Perfect with the bacon in it. Service was still very friendly half an hour before closing time. And I can definitely recommend the brownies for dessert.

Very nice stamppot handmade by a very kind lady, eaten sitting in a very cozy spot on the first floor.

In my opinion, it's about the tastiest soft ice cream in the city center of Groningen.

We had a delicious meal with beef stew with grilled vegetables and yellow rice And chicken with peanut sauce, yellow rice and steamed vegetables We also had mint tea The beef stew was good and very tasty and the grilled vegetables went very well with it. The chicken and peanut sauce is also very tasty, a little bit spicy, not disturbing, but for some reason just very addictive, you just have to know that the next bite will be just as delicious. Super

Koeskas provided catering for a New Year's drink at De Brander, on location. A delicious mustard and pea soup, rye bread with bacon or cheese, vegetarian meatballs and chicken skewers in satay sauce to lick your fingers. Everything was delicious, well taken care of, very affordable and a top host and hostess. Meeting was a great success. Definitely recommended (also stew buffet 😋) and worth repeating.

Verrassend lekker eten. De stamppot rauwe andijvie met noten en kaas heeft zeer lekker gesmaakt en was bovendien gezond. Hier komen wij graag weer. ☺️

Gister, vooraf aan een bezoek aan de plaatselijke FC, hier gegeten en wat een heerlijke en gezellige tijd hebben we hier gehad. De tent wordt gerund door een enthousiast koppel, die tijd voor je hebben voor een praatje en die je meehelpen kiezen. Dutch comfortfood met een griffel !! Heerlijke kerrie hutspot met, als special, spareribs die van het bot vallen. Geserveerd met een knoflooksaus, die alleen al de moeite waard is....Dit alles voor een zeer schappelijke prijs ! Een absolute aanrader !!

Een verrassing. Heeel lekker eten voor een geweldige prijs. Een fast-food keuken waar je heerlijke stamppotten/stoofpotjes/ soepen van 'n geweldige kwaliteit kunt krijgen. Ophalen /bestellen of ter plekke eten. Leuke bovenverdieping om te zitten. Top aanrader.

I have been to this restaurant twice and I would recommend. Food is tasty and definitely freshly cooked. I have tried the local soup (snert) and the stew. Both were tasty.

Absoluut een heerlijke mosterdsoep, fijne service en mensen die met enorm veel passie aan het werk zijn. Dat zie je en dat proef je in alles wat zij bereiden. Een absolute aanraden om je maagje te vullen !

Superlekker en gezond eten! Eindelijk afhaal waar ik niet achteraf spijt heb dat ik niet zelf heb gekookt. Heerlijk.

Zomaar een lekker dagje stad en bij Koeskas superlekkere mosterdsoep en allebei een heerlijk broodje gegeten. De soep was vol van pure smaak en geurende mosterd en niet te zout. Bij binnenkomst meteen al een sprankelende begroeting. Dat maakt je dag nou mooi!

Een aanrader en een winkel waar ik vaker ga komen

As visitors, we were on the hunt for traditional local cuisine, we feel lucky to have found this place (on Google maps). The restaurant is run by a couple of locals, they happily shared details about their menu, which as a foreigner to the area, we find invaluable. We were recommend the stamppot, available in 3 different variations, which seems to change periodically. We were very satisfied with the quality of food and the familiar high standards we've grown accustom to during our visit to the Netherlands. Their website (viewed via Google translate) does a good job of describing their food and culture.

We were welcomed by the smiling staff. We looked for a place which would be on budget, tasty and healthy. The meal was delicious. We sat on first floor looking out on the street. It reminds me of a milkbar, a combination of homecooking and fast delivery of tasty food. We ordered sandwiches with goatcheese (geitenkaas) and beef (runderstof). I couldnt get enough, but we ordered also a ribeye one and it turned out to be not so spicy. The place is fit for students that want to taste dutch cooking and not go to Febo. ;-) The website, menu and entrence is not very apealing, but once you are inside, take the food and look around on the first floor, it feels very cosy.

Vanmiddag een lekker runder stoofpotje gehaald, en het was heerlijk. Heel goed van smaak.

Hier kan je heerlijk eten. De mosterdsoep is echt een aanrader en de stamppot andijvie ook. De service is geweldig. Ze waren al gesloten op Thuisbezorgd omdat ze het zo druk hadden gehad dat bijna alles op was. Toen werd ons gevraagd wat we nog wilden bestellen en dat hadden ze nog. En raad eens, ze kwamen het persoonlijk brengen. Geweldige service, waar zie je dat nou nog. Heel lief.

Fantastische Rendang met gegrilde groente

Eetwinkel Koeskas is absoluut aan te raden: bij binnenkomst word je vriendelijk begroet door de eigenaren, de uitstraling van de zaak is warm, gezellig en schoon. Je kunt buiten zitten, maar ook heel gezellig op de 1e verdieping en dan uitzicht op de Oosterstraat. De keuze is reuze: heerlijke lunchgerechten, voortreffelijke broodjes, salades en dan de warme maaltijden: vers en echt voortreffelijk en absoluut betaalbaar. Prijs - Kwaliteit krijgt van mij een dikke 10! We komen snel terug.

Heerlijk, die rode bieten stamppot! Zelfs de vrouw die niet zo van stamppot houdt heeft haar bord leeggelikt. Dit gaan we vaker doen :)

(H)eerlijke broodjes ,soep,maaltijden.De menukaart wordt aangevuld met wisselende weekmenu’s, desserts, seizoensgerechten, hapjes, tapas en salades.Alles is to-go, maar kan ook in het de zaak zelf gegeten worden.
