Smakenrad is not just a wheel, it is a corona-proof restaurant. You can enjoy the Groningen view from the sky while having a delicious dinner. P.S. It is really cold up there. The doors on both sides have gaps in between, so the wind strikes hard. Wear some warm clothes 😉

Aweg 4Great restaurant! If you want to go on the weekend you have to book far in advance, but it is MORE than worth the wait. As a vegetarian you are often underwhelmed by yet another eggplant from the oven, but not here!! Every course new flavors that I have never seen combined like this before. I still dream about the spinach with jalapeno. I have never eaten as delicious as here. Each course was wonderfully put together, very diverse and yet it all fit together perfectly. What a party!!! Already looking forward to the next time!
