Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. We had a wonderful dinner here! Reasonably large portions for a great price; the photos speak for themselves. The food was also surprisingly well-prepared. Finally, a cozy restaurant with friendly service. Free parking nearby. We really have nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended! The price was around €100 for 2 people, including a starter, main course, and 2 drinks per person.

Well, not quite... The restaurant's decor is nice, but it's incredibly loud and boisterous. The food was okay in terms of taste and portions, but the herb butter and mayonnaise were served with a disposable wooden spoon? That's what you'd expect at a chip shop, not a restaurant in this price range. The starter arrived quickly, but we then waited a very long time for our main course.

A friendly welcome without a reservation. Extensive menu. Everything went smoothly! (One very small point...if you sit by the door at the back...it opens regularly...no problem at all...but the cold was getting to me.) But that won't stop us from returning.

Ate here for the third time. Excellent menu, well prepared. Friendly service. Also special because of the beer menu of about 60 beers.

A restaurant-style eatery – what a discovery! Four of us dined here, and what a treat it was. On paper, it's a cafe, but what's served is undoubtedly restaurant-style—and of the finest kind. Everything is fresh, honest, and prepared with visible craftsmanship. We started with four carpaccios: flavorful, perfectly cooked, and perfectly presented. Then we had three rounds of steak with a peppercorn cream sauce—a real steak, beautifully tender, not a drop of blood when cut, and served with fresh, crisp vegetables. Generous portions, too, as we like them. The fourth main course was a tuna steak, perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh. To finish, we had three delicious limoncello parfaits—fresh, creamy, and beautifully presented—and one affogato, also excellent. The service also deserves a compliment: friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The decor is atmospheric and elegant; you immediately feel welcome. The price-quality ratio is simply excellent. What's served here would cost double in many restaurants. It's a shame we don't live closer, otherwise we'd definitely be here more often.

Nice and big terrace outside already, but boy this place is huge inside as well. Friendly and fast service with a nice view on the square. Had a great vegetarian hamburger here.

The food was delicious. My table companion had a beer that had a strange smell and taste. The owner (?) dismissed this as unacceptable, and that was it. The new beer was simply added to the bill. Disappointing, this service and the way it was delivered. Never mind.

We were back at the diner Veertien on the Markt in Eersel. It's known for its extensive menu, with something for everyone.

We really enjoyed it, the food was very good, and the service was attentive 👍🏼 We'll definitely be back 🙂

We had a lovely meal here to celebrate the end of our holiday with friends from Italy. Staff was very helpful and friendly, great to also have English menus available. All the food was absolutely amazing, my son devoured the beef stew and the pork fillet I had was cooked perfectly. Combine that with a great list of beers, and you have the recipe for a great evening meal.

We had a wonderful meal with my wife's walking club and their husbands after a long bike ride.

I had a truly fantastic salad today! This is how you make a good salad.👍 With goat cheese croquettes, deliciously seasoned lettuce, nuts, bacon bits, and the perfect amount of apple butter dressing. Divine! The service was also friendly and fast on the cozy patio. It's a shame I don't live nearby, otherwise I would come here more often. Keep up the good work, and thanks!

A cozy terrace on the market square in Eersel, where we enjoyed a drink in the sunshine, accompanied by delicious snacks and snacks, served quickly and friendlyly.

Nothing wrong with that. I've been there before and the service at Veertien was very passive, that has changed completely. The food is also delicious, not bland with the portions and good beer tips. Time between serving the dishes is also good. The hamburger is also delicious, that's how it should be!

First time eating here. We went by previous photos and reviews. A great restaurant. Quick service. Large proportions of food. The chicken satay skewer is recommended. We did make a reservation. But the terrace is considerable and inside there is a lot of space. Top.

Nice eatery on the historic village square of Eersel. What struck us is that you still get old-fashioned large pieces of cake here. Throughout the Netherlands, the pieces of cake are getting smaller every year, and then you often also get fake whipped cream (that stuff that dissolves into a puddle of white liquid when you poke it with your fork). But at this café, the pieces of cake are still old-fashioned large and the whipped cream is firm, thick and creamy.

Cozy place, only had a coffee and a drink. Terrace and inside both nice and cozy.

Really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. I called in advance with questions regarding how busy it would be, and they took their time to help and ensured we had a quiet table. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was good and the portions were large. Definitely recommend going here!

Nieuwe kaart. De salade-klassiekers worden niet meer aangeboden. (salade gerookte kip, salade kip en scampies ) Heel spijtig ! Een tijdje geleden verdween ook al de salade coquilles Saint-Jacques van de kaart...De nieuw aangeboden alternatieven kunnen mij minder bekoren, maar dit is uiteraard een kwestie van persoonlijke smaak.

Walked in on a gamble. Didn't regret it. Start with soup, hare pepper (as a choice next to the menu) and turkey as a main course. Ober was clear about it. We felt very welcome. Thanks for the hospitality 👍

Tasty croquettes with salad, but not on traditional bread but on regular brown bread. A healthy sandwich without egg was ordered. Here, a white sandwich was first served instead of a bun and with an egg, but the bun was delivered later.

We had an excellent meal here and enjoyed the wide range of beers on tap. Unfortunately the young waiter was less cooperative. When we returned to eat again, we were told it was full, with no time indication or alternative options. We thought that was a shame and that is why I give 1 star less. Nevertheless, it was certainly worth repeating, although unfortunately this time we were not allowed by the young waiter.

Great opportunity to have lunch when you visit the beautiful and picturesque Eersel

This is a very pleasant restaurant in the centre of Eersel. the staff were accomodating to our dietary requests and were very clued in about my gluten free diet. Everyone enjoyed thier meals. MyTurkey was excellent and there were far more vegetables and fries than I could eat. Something went wrong initially and an incorrect review appeared here. This is the correct one so ignore the reply.

Steak was rare instead of medium when sent back and it was still not good. The woman who helped us was very good

Yesterday on my birthday I had lunch there for 12 hours with delicious peanut coconut soup and 3 different sandwiches! Last night dinner with friends was also perfect and my guests loved it! Perfect service, friendly, customer-oriented staff, good atmosphere. All stars well deserved!! Thank you Dinercafe 14!!

Zeer onbeleefd en ongeduldig toen we de eigenaar vragen stelde over wat we kunnen bestellen om het tijdstip van 18 uur. De kaart was niet duidelijk om te weten wat we van de lunch kaart konden bestellen en tot hoe laat maar we werden afgewimpeld met een zeer onbeleefd antwoord als ik kom straks wel terug en dat na een rekening betaald te hebben van inmiddels 90 euro aan drankjes. Zeer onprofessioneel. En zeker als eigenaar zelf.

Last night at 6:30 pm we called that we wanted to come and have dinner with 4 people. That was no problem, we could sit outside on the attractive terrace. You immediately have the holiday feeling, cozy atmosphere. The sun on the terrace made it complete. Had delicious goat cheese salads, chicken satay and my husband had a ribeye. Now we are real green egg BBQers, so eating such meat elsewhere is often a risk. But here they kept their promises. The meat was tasty and perfectly prepared. Beautiful pink inside and the taste was great. The ladies enjoyed the goat cheese croquette salad, which was served with plenty of fries. Good and quick service and you don't have to wait long for the dish. This restaurant is highly recommended on the market. Surrounded by all kinds of restaurants, I would definitely recommend Dinee Café Veertien. Thanks again for the nice evening ❤️

Delicious food, eldest son enjoyed the burger, daughter enjoyed the spaghetti and the youngest of course enjoyed his fries with apple sauce. We ourselves, of course, capaccio satay and a delicious wok dish. Top tent

It has become larger after a number of years of renovation and there is plenty of parking behind the restaurant. There is an extensive menu with a nice choice of starters, main courses and dessert. The service is open and friendly and the seating is comfortable. You are not cramped and have reasonable privacy where you sit. Enter where the Plus supermarket is located and there is a large parking lot at the back on the right!

Nice food, good quality and friendly staff. The steak (225gr medium-rare) was buttery smooth 😍 very delicious. There is a nice atmosphere. On a sunny day the terrace has a nice view in the middle of a small historic village.

Nice meal, I had an IRSL sandwich, serious sandwich people, super tasty, my wife had a goat's cheese croquette salad, but it was very meager, the taste was great, just a pity that there were 3 small goat's cheese croquettes on top, I could have added 2 more, but otherwise great ones. over there

Had a disappointing evening at this restaurant! When we entered we were neatly guided to our table and given the menu, after ordering our drinks we had to wait a long time before we actually received our drinks... after speaking to the passing staff we were finally able to order, after which we I had to wait a very long time... my husband was angry and wanted to go, but I still wanted to stay because our daughter was really looking forward to her dish. We arrived at half past seven and had dinner at half past eight... my husband and I both had the round steak, I rare and he medium. When the plates arrived on the table I immediately said cut your meat to check, and his steak was just as rare as mine... my husband had to signal with his hand for someone to come because the staff comes very quickly. little passed, when she came I told her that his steak was just as rare as mine and my husband said he wanted a new one because this is not what he ordered. It was noticed that the plate came back again very shortly afterwards and this time she had a towel between her hand and the plate, me and my husband thought that was strange and I felt the plate which was indeed very hot but his steak was not very hot so it was strange, it was baked on the cut side, but unfortunately the same as before... my husband ate it anyway because ordering something else was no longer an option... ordered the dessert, which was otherwise fine, but not much can be done there to go wrong. In short, we had to wait a long time and were disappointed with the main course and the attitude of some staff members... we paid but will never come here again!

Never again! Ordered a bottle of wine (rose) and was not allowed to taste it and after 1 glass we indicated that we did not like it... We were not offered an alternative or another drink. Returned the bottle and had to pay for the entire bottle on the bill! An innkeeper makes or breaks the business! In this case… forewarned counts for two!

We go to Number Fourteen in Eersel almost every week and it is always great! First of all, we really love the friendliness of the entire staff and that is what you want, at least that applies to us. The menu is very extensive, always changing delicious soup, the changing seasonal salad, different types of fish, meat, stir-fry dishes and much more: the catfish was delicious, for example, but also the wok chicken satay skewer, too many to mention. And then the desserts: my favorite is the delicious Nougatine ice cream cake with whipped cream, but the speculaas parfait is also recommended. And I think the delicious apple pie from Areven is super tasty, but it is too rich as a dessert, so it goes better with a cup of coffee or Latte Macchiato, because it is a large piece of cake. The coziness of the restaurant at this time of year (February), but also on the terrace in the summer is a wonderful place to relax. The fact that you can park behind the restaurant is also perfect. It was the first time we ate here. We were warmly welcomed in this cozy and beautiful cafe. The atmosphere and decor are absolutely great with a friendly and good couple serving. We were not known in Eersel and at random we went to eat at dine-café Veertien. During my reservation I had indicated my preference for a table by the window, which we got. The menu is sufficiently varied with something for everyone. I went for the goat cheese croquettes and the hamburger, both dishes were very tasty! If I am ever in the area again I would definitely eat there again.

Prima! Ten eerste: vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Ten tweede: heerlijk eten. Dan is het plaatje wel compleet toch. We gaan zeker nog een terug.

Op zondagavond kregen we een mooi tafeltje voor twee personen, zonder dat we gereserveerd hadden. We hebben beide een lekker voor- en hoofdgerecht gegeten voor een prima prijs. Super vriendelijke bediening in een heel gezellig restaurant. Zeker een aanrader!

Alles goed, alleen zaten wij vlak bij de ingang en als de deur dan open ging kwam er wel kou naar binnen. Niet zo prettig.

Eten altijd top! Biefstuk beter dan bij Loetje. Vistoren als voorgerecht is ook top. Altijd aardig, behulpzame bediening. Sfeer is goed en gezellig als een grandcafé, niet echt restaurant. Achter gratis parkeren. Ben er al 15 a 20 keer geweest!

De locatie op de markt van Eersel is natuurlijk geweldig en de sfeer in het restaurant gemoedelijk. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Tijdens het uitserveren viel de mayonaise voor de tafel op de grond en de vleessaus ging over de tafel. De jonge bediende slaakte een flinke vloek. Het mocht de pret niet drukken. 'Proberen moet je leren', zegt mijn vijfjarige dochter altijd en het is o.a. in de horeca ook niet makkelijk om aan voldoende goed personeel te komen. Er zijn belangrijkere zaken: Het eten zelf is bijzonder slecht voorbereidt en ook de reden om daar niet meer terug te komen of om er überhaupt een eerste keer te gaan eten. Voorbeelden: - De Tom Kha Kai soep smaakte alles behalve een Thom Kha Kai. Zout voerde de boventoon. - De Wiener Schnitzel en bijbehorende saus smaakte naar niets: geen smaak dus. Gezien de donkere kleur van de paneer was deze waarschijnlijk ook in een frituur met olie gegooid en niet in de pan in roomboter gebakken. - De spaghetti was te lang gekookt en samen met de saus een weeïge brei Ons inziens is de kaart te divers met uiteenlopende gerechten waarvoor de ingrediënten los of kant-en-klaar worden ingekocht bij een groothandel (begrijpelijk gezien de prijs). Wat er dan vervolgens precies in de keuken gebeurt weten we niet maar onze ervaring is dat daar niet echt wordt gekookt. Ons advies: - Blijf daar weg als je waarde hecht aan goed eten. Ga naar het Hint waar al decennia excellent wordt gekookt door de verschillende eigenaren. Daar betaal je natuurlijk wel voor. - Mocht je toch besluiten naar Veertien te gaan, kom dan voor een leuke tijd met je tafelgenoten en een goede sfeer. Bestel een salade (deze zijn goed samengesteld) en een drankje, of let niet teveel op wat je eet. Als getogen Eerselnaar doet deze review mij natuurlijk pijn aan het hart want Eersel is en blijft natuurlijk wel het mooiste dorp in het land.

Het eten was er redelijk goed, de verlichting was heel donker binnen. Je kon de menukaart, niet lezen. Ik zij tegen de eigenaar,dat het zo donker was binnen in het Restaurant.Dat je de menukaart niet kon lezen. Ja zegt hij, je hebt toch licht op je gsm telefoon zitten. Ja inderdaad daar kon ik het mee doen. Het was er druk ,toen wij er waren. Maar de klant blijft altijd de koning, druk of niet druk .

De beste appeltaart van de Kempen!

Eersel is een schittered dorp, typische brabantse gezelligheid, mooie locatie met authentieke gebouwen en schaduwrijke hoge bomen. '14' is een van de talrijke restaurants waar service en kwaliteit hoog aangeschreven staan. Als je daar zit, wil je niet meer naar huis😎
