Best Spot eat very nice And an amazing vibe

I used to like coming here. But I don't know what happened? Has the business been taken over? It's a real shame. Both the fries and the snacks are way too overcooked. The staff's friendliness is also nowhere to be found.

Best ice creams ever, delicious biscotto flavor and tasty milkshakes, only unfortunately they don't have my favorite flavor Smurf, very disappointing, but the rest is INSANELY DELICIOUS, totally worth it.

For a very long time, this was a real winner. But the last three times, and now for the very last time, I ordered a large and a medium portion of fries, and when I got home, I had two mediums. But I did pay for a large portion of fries. The next time I ordered a pulled chicken satay, and when I got home, it was a pork BBQ. And this time my fries were so salty that I literally had to wipe it off, and my blood pressure shot up from here to Tokyo, and my frikadel wasn't tasty at all either. It has become a massive no-go, very unfortunate. YUCK!!! NEVER AGAIN !!

I didn't want to immediately look bad on Google with a bad review, so I sent a direct message via social media first, but unfortunately received no response, so here it is anyway. Your medium-sized fries are a huge disappointment in terms of content. Especially since the lady before me ordered the small size and received it in the same bag. When I asked the salesperson, with a clearly disappointed face, if this was indeed the medium size, I received a blunt "yes" as an answer. We looked at each other awkwardly for just a few seconds too long, and I walked away disappointed. The price of 4.75 for the number of pathetic fries is disproportionate. Oh yes, I waited 13-15 minutes for a portion of fries while there were only 2 people ahead of me with a simple order.

For a very long time, this place was one of my favorites. As of yesterday, that is no longer the case at all, because the quality has unfortunately dropped significantly. Two weeks ago, the fries were re-fried quite a few times, meaning that for the most part they didn't look or taste like fries anymore, and yesterday it was the exact opposite: they were soggy and mealy. Neither had anything to do with it being busy, because there was nobody there besides. Very uninterested staff who found the music and chilling among themselves much more important.

I ordered large fries for the second time, which, when I got home, weren't even a medium portion. They were also full of small, hard pieces instead of fries. If you think you ordered a large enough portion for two, you'll be surprised when you get home and find some pathetic fries rolling out of the bag, but you didn't pay a ridiculous price. This certainly wasn't the case a few years ago, but I think the owner was more present back then. The flavor is still good, but a large fry should be a large fry... that's why I think it's really gone downhill lately. It's a shame...

Was closed at 20:00 on Wednesday despite google maps claimed it was open till 21:00

One of my two favorite fries places in Amsterdam (I'm Dutch). I always have fries with Belgium mayonaise and peanut sauce. Super good!

It has been my favorite chip shop for a long time, but the last few times the portions were so mediocre that I ended up frying something else in the kitchen, feeling unsatisfied.

Too bad, but today the fries were overcooked, so they were too hard and not soft inside. And then there was a far too large pile of mayo on top, so I tasted and ingested more mayo than fries. Finally, about 30% of the fries were small pieces and crumbs. In short, I had a different memory of it, but now it's a real shame.

It's a super delicious and fun ice cream shop, and the fries are delicious! The staff are incredibly welcoming. Especially one guy, I think his name is Luan. He's a really nice guy. I had a great time, and it's just a great place in a beautiful location. And again, Luan was super friendly.

We went on a Monday, it was empty, but we managed to find a seat. The fries were crispy and the amount of gravy was perfect.

The worst snack bar that exists in this whole neighborhood not satisfied and very expensive. They are just heavy scammers at the neighbors. You can get cheaper hamburger and another side you can get better fries, so waste of your money don't do it people

Some places remain favorites, even if you no longer live around the corner. Doardi is such a place. When we still lived in the area, we were a regular here for a tasty fries or an ice cream. And even now that we live somewhere else, we still come back regularly! The fries? Always fresh, golden brown and perfectly crispy. No factory fries, but real fries the way you want them: nice and firm, well fried and made with love by Arnell himself. And then the ice cream... A party every time. Creamy, full of flavor and always surprising. You can taste that it is made traditionally, and that makes it so tasty. Doardi remains a place we love to return to – because some things are just too good to let go.

The fries were hot, crispy and fresh. The staff was the most friendly person. I was there on a cold Friday afternoon with no one else around. He could have easily taken my order and then ignored me while the fries were cooking but we talked the whole time. So friendly!

Fries used to be amazing. Best of the neighborhood. But since quite some time now, fries are way too brown. Last week they were so crispy and hard that only one third (of 3 portions of fries in total) tasted of potatoes. Rest was so crispy, no potato was to be tasted.

€22 euros for dry fries, very unfortunate! I won't be ordering here again. You always really over fry the fries...

Very good service from two friendly young men. Even during the crowds we received super tasty fries. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can really taste that they use real potatoes. Top quality!!

Friendly staff and the fries are really nice, however I've got the 'vega' burger a couple of times and it was stone cold in the middle. The exterior of the patty was nicely browned so perhaps they have the grill set at too high a temperature for the burger to actually finish cooking throughout. I'd definitely return for fries but would suggest avoiding the vega burger.

It was the end of the evening. The fries you could see when she was putting them in we're really overcooked and too dark. They were really bad overcooked and dry. I actually didn't eat them all but luckily for their bank account I decided to get a gelati to get the flavour out of my mouth. I told the girl as I ordered the ice cream that the friets were overcooked and dry.. she just shrugged her shoulders. The ice cream was really good. I had strawberry cheesecake and mango sorbet. Was delicious. That they should be really ashamed to sell freit's from a freit place like that.

They’re making fresh fries in front of your eyes but then the staff serves the old ones!! It makes no sense! The fries I tried was so dry, old, greasy and with unnecessary amount of sauce. I don’t recommend it at all.

These ice creams are the tastiest in Amsterdam West. After the cheese fondue, we got a nice ice cream here, the people are always friendly and there are seats both inside and outside.

I got a chicken burger, hamburger and fries on the evening of March 5 and was quickly helped by a nice boy who tried very hard. The food was delicious and you get a lot for a good price! Burgers were large and with lots of lettuce, tomato on top and I also had extra pickles. I'll definitely return!

I've always had good fries here, but the last two times it seems like the fries were either fried way too long or fried five times, which amounts to the same thing. Far too dark, shriveled, dry exterior. Something is wrong. Do you save anything by frying fries several times? It seems that way. Today I decided that this was the last time I will eat fries at Doardi. Very sorry.

I had the fries with pulled pork and samurai sauce. The fries were nice and crispy and the pulled pork was bbq with sautéed onion was very flavorful. I sat outside on the picknick tables which were clean when I went, but noticed later in the day another table hadn’t been cleared from hours earlier. So I’m not sure how clean it usually is. I would definitely go back.

Uns wurden viel zu kleine Gabeln für die Pommes gegeben. Außerdem waren die Pommes viel zu hart. Dafür waren die Frikadellen sehr lecker. Jedoch auch schwierig zu essen ohne Messer

Great fries and fantastic ice-cream & sorbets. We ate here twice l, first time was for ice cream, then we came back for fries and croquettes. The sorbets are really refreshing and the ice-creams very nice, one of the best I've had. I had the beef croquette and fries with fritesauce and they were well cooked, not greasy and the sauce really nice. If I come back to Amsterdam and stay near Westerpark I'll be coming back.

Great fries in good old West During my continued search for the perfect fry, I encountered Doardi. Being located in my old neighbourhood, the 'Staatsliedenbuurt', I did not expect to find a great contender for that prestigious title. Doardi is, however, a great contender indead. I was the first order of the day, arriving just after 12 in the afternoon. I ordered a regular sized portion of fries with a good slab of mayo and while it was being fried a growing number of people, most appeared to be regulars, joined the line. The fries had a great crisp, were salted well and not greasy at all. Not only was the food great, so was the owner who was super friendly. We had a nice chat with each other as well as with the other customers. A great neighbourhood fry that you should definitely try.

For sure not the best fries in Amsterdam, usually serve good fries. If it's not too busy you'll find cold fries mixed into recently fried ones, ruining your experience here. When busy this place is terribly organised with long wait times but the food will be warm.

The absolute best rendang beef special fries. I had this every Friday for 40 weeks (my entire pregnancy). It is that good I continuously beg the owner to never take it off the menu!
