Delicious home-made fries ..... always cheerful people who help you .... and not too expensive (unless you come on King's Day .....🤨)

The fries were hot, crispy and fresh. The staff was the most friendly person. I was there on a cold Friday afternoon with no one else around. He could have easily taken my order and then ignored me while the fries were cooking but we talked the whole time. So friendly!

Fries used to be amazing. Best of the neighborhood. But since quite some time now, fries are way too brown. Last week they were so crispy and hard that only one third (of 3 portions of fries in total) tasted of potatoes. Rest was so crispy, no potato was to be tasted.

Very good service from two friendly young men. Even during the crowds we received super tasty fries. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can really taste that they use real potatoes. Top quality!!

€22 euros for dry fries, very unfortunate! I won't be ordering here again. You always really over fry the fries...

Friendly staff and the fries are really nice, however I've got the 'vega' burger a couple of times and it was stone cold in the middle. The exterior of the patty was nicely browned so perhaps they have the grill set at too high a temperature for the burger to actually finish cooking throughout. I'd definitely return for fries but would suggest avoiding the vega burger.

Just paid 5.20 eu for a medium-sized fries, which was rather small in terms of content. Good taste, but the prices have risen very quickly here... too bad

Fries are decent, but not amazing. The price-quality ratio is out of balance. €6.25 for a small portion of Parmesan fries.

It was the end of the evening. The fries you could see when she was putting them in we're really overcooked and too dark. They were really bad overcooked and dry. I actually didn't eat them all but luckily for their bank account I decided to get a gelati to get the flavour out of my mouth. I told the girl as I ordered the ice cream that the friets were overcooked and dry.. she just shrugged her shoulders. The ice cream was really good. I had strawberry cheesecake and mango sorbet. Was delicious. That they should be really ashamed to sell freit's from a freit place like that.

Food was delicious, highly recommend fries with peanut sauce! Otherwise, the employees were friendly and the store looked neat.

They’re making fresh fries in front of your eyes but then the staff serves the old ones!! It makes no sense! The fries I tried was so dry, old, greasy and with unnecessary amount of sauce. I don’t recommend it at all.

These ice creams are the tastiest in Amsterdam West. After the cheese fondue, we got a nice ice cream here, the people are always friendly and there are seats both inside and outside.

I come to doardi often and the food is always delicious! However, the last time I went was a disappointment. The new staff (a young man with a beard and straight/slightly wavy hair) is disrespectful and rude.

Nice ice cream! Only tried the chocolate flavour, but it was really good. Better than other ice cream shops that I have tried in the neighbourhood. The girl working there was also very sweet.

There is a young man working here called “Derron” I was helped by him and the service was great! Best service I've had in a long time. Very sweet boy who is very good at his job

I got a chicken burger, hamburger and fries on the evening of March 5 and was quickly helped by a nice boy who tried very hard. The food was delicious and you get a lot for a good price! Burgers were large and with lots of lettuce, tomato on top and I also had extra pickles. I'll definitely return!

I've always had good fries here, but the last two times it seems like the fries were either fried way too long or fried five times, which amounts to the same thing. Far too dark, shriveled, dry exterior. Something is wrong. Do you save anything by frying fries several times? It seems that way. Today I decided that this was the last time I will eat fries at Doardi. Very sorry.

I had the fries with pulled pork and samurai sauce. The fries were nice and crispy and the pulled pork was bbq with sautéed onion was very flavorful. I sat outside on the picknick tables which were clean when I went, but noticed later in the day another table hadn’t been cleared from hours earlier. So I’m not sure how clean it usually is. I would definitely go back.

Uns wurden viel zu kleine Gabeln für die Pommes gegeben. Außerdem waren die Pommes viel zu hart. Dafür waren die Frikadellen sehr lecker. Jedoch auch schwierig zu essen ohne Messer

Great fries and fantastic ice-cream & sorbets. We ate here twice l, first time was for ice cream, then we came back for fries and croquettes. The sorbets are really refreshing and the ice-creams very nice, one of the best I've had. I had the beef croquette and fries with fritesauce and they were well cooked, not greasy and the sauce really nice. If I come back to Amsterdam and stay near Westerpark I'll be coming back.

Great fries in good old West During my continued search for the perfect fry, I encountered Doardi. Being located in my old neighbourhood, the 'Staatsliedenbuurt', I did not expect to find a great contender for that prestigious title. Doardi is, however, a great contender indead. I was the first order of the day, arriving just after 12 in the afternoon. I ordered a regular sized portion of fries with a good slab of mayo and while it was being fried a growing number of people, most appeared to be regulars, joined the line. The fries had a great crisp, were salted well and not greasy at all. Not only was the food great, so was the owner who was super friendly. We had a nice chat with each other as well as with the other customers. A great neighbourhood fry that you should definitely try.

For sure not the best fries in Amsterdam, usually serve good fries. If it's not too busy you'll find cold fries mixed into recently fried ones, ruining your experience here. When busy this place is terribly organised with long wait times but the food will be warm.

Homemade betekend helaas niet altijd lekker. Vrij smakeloze patat.

Great place to get famous Dutch fries. Be prepared to wait a bit to get your order prepared, but good things take time, so worth it!

The absolute best rendang beef special fries. I had this every Friday for 40 weeks (my entire pregnancy). It is that good I continuously beg the owner to never take it off the menu!

The fries here are very good but wow they take FOREVER to make them sometimes. Be prepared to wait 10+ minutes.
