Just a overall disappointing place .

Unfortunately, Lawa isn't what it used to be... I used to come here really often and it has deteriorated a lot.

Great place! Always fantastic quality, friendly staff, and great service. A plus is that they stay open late and it's always cozy. The pastries and drinks are super tasty!

Its not an easy place to order from, but the waffles were great. My kids and I enjoyed them which is why i cant say it was the worst experience. They dont seem to speak dutch or english, only turkish which is fine but not easy to navigate. You also do not pay at the table and there seem to be multiple shops to pay at depending on what you order which is neither explained nor told to you. Would be better if they had a QR code on the table to order and pay at. I was also a bit annoyed because they brought a drink to the table whilst i was away from the table. My kids drank a few sips of the drink not knowing any better. I feel this wasnt great to be honest because i didnt order this drink and it felt a little bit like a scam. I paid for it but i do think others should be careful eating here.

I called to ask if I could still order and was told that the shop was open. When I arrived, it suddenly turned out that the order was no longer available, even though this had been promised over the phone. I found that very disappointing. Additionally, I found the communication at the checkout unprofessional and felt disrespected as a customer. Rude staff shouldn't be found anywhere.

It was really delicious. We come almost every week to have dessert.

This is my fourth and final visit. I've experienced this cafe at different times of the day. The food is fantastic, but the service is the complete opposite ‼️ The staff is below average; no smiles, no empathy, no speed... Each time I've come, I've spent between €40 and €130. There's absolutely no interest or concern when taking orders or paying the bill. It takes them 20 minutes to take the order, and another 20-25 minutes to arrive. Ordering extra is a real ordeal... In short, if you have a lot of time and patience, you can come, but don't expect service; it's the kind of place where you just eat and leave ❌

This is a place I always come to and love. The desserts are excellent and fresh. The staff are very attentive. I will definitely come again ❤️

The waffles are fine and the price-quality ratio is good; the waiter came to settle the bill while we were still eating, so we didn't order anything else. However, the hospitality is on the low side with such antics.

I picked up cakes there yesterday and tasted them once I got in the car... The cakes were moldy!!! It tasted like mold and there was mold on them too. Shame on you. This is already a sign that it has been sitting there for yawns and isn't fresh. Don't buy here; unfortunately, I can't give 0 stars, otherwise I would have.

The service is terrible, the guy was rude. The desserts were tasty, but these people were not polite. As for the seating, you have to wait 2 or 3 hours and then you get such a horrible look from them. They are not clear about how long you are allowed to sit, so everyone stays for 2 or 3 hours; because of that, no one else can get a seat and you end up waiting among the people.

We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order, even though we'd asked the waitress. It was 1 hour and 20 minutes before closing time. There were few people there, but they obviously wanted to close early. At least let us know so we didn't waste our time. There were rats roaming the street outside.

A very disappointing experience. We requested table service, but our drinks were brought directly to us in plastic cups without any explanation. It's shameful for an establishment of this type, especially since we weren't in any hurry at all. A real lack of professionalism and consideration.

Very busy, long wait for 2 matchas. We came for the lavender matchas, unfortunately they didn't have them anymore. 2 strawberry matchas; unfortunately, it wasn't good quality matcha and we got very nauseous from it.

Had a terrible experience today. I placed my order, checked the ice cream display to see what ice cream they had, ordered a pastry along with one scoop of ice cream, and then she came over with whipped cream. I clearly indicated I wanted ice cream with it, and she said there isn't any. I said there is. I went to check myself first, but she kept saying there isn't any. I said, "Okay, fine, I don't need the whole ice cream and pastry." Then someone came over who spoke Dutch. I explained the situation to her and then said I don't want it. She said, "Yes, then I can't do anything for you." Oh, what terrible service. This is how you treat customers. Disgusting. People really need to know this.

The desserts are delicious, and the place is quite nice. However, since the music is available for free through a platform, ads interrupt it, which slightly spoils the enjoyment. It would be a much better experience if you subscribed to a premium account <3

It's a place I love coming to, they have very nice San Sebo's, the waiters are excellent.

I recently bought a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup for €10; the top layer consisted of fresh strawberries, but the strawberries underneath were literally spoiled, black with mold🤢 scandalous, you can't sell this. Never again!!

The food is very tasty, they keep coming over to you and asking if you need anything, they are very warm towards the customers. I honestly say you really must come by and taste everything.

Food was decent, but the service was frustratingly slow. The staff seemed disorganized and not very attentive at all we had to wait quite a long time just to get basic attention. Even when we tried to get their attention, it often took multiple attempts. Overall, the food couldn’t really make up for how poor and slow the service was.

Waited 10 minutes for a cup of tea and they after they gave hot water with a tea bag ?

Very bad service every time they miss a thing but this time when I asked her to correct the order she throw the paper on the table so after this no more recommended

Always going here while waiting for my husband playing football. Food, vibe, and service were great. And they open until 1 AM!! Nice hangout spots for a night out.

I always get a crepe or Dubai strawberry chocolate cup there, so fresh and delicious, I'm really happy with it, I'll definitely stop by often 🫶🏽

What rude and unprofessional staff. Last time, we had to wait half an hour for a table and then another 1 hour and 15 minutes for our order. Extra charges are also added for everything without this being clearly indicated. On top of that, you get dirty looks and are treated with a nasty attitude. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened here. For us, this is reason enough not to return.

A cup of Dubai strawberries for 10 euros. The chocolate and pistachio sauce were okay. The strawberries were as hard as apples and as big as tangerines. They had no flavor. Maybe it's a good idea to buy some better quality if you're charging 10 euros. Never again. Unfortunately, I had to throw the cup away.

I visited today around 8:15 PM with another person. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. We waited about 15 minutes for someone to clean our table, and then another 10 minutes for someone to take our order. It was obvious that we were ready to order — we tried to get attention through hand signals and eye contact. After finally placing our order, we waited 45 minutes. Eventually, we had to ask what was going on, and we were told that apparently no one had taken our order. When we spoke to the waiter and explained that he had taken it, he denied it. However, we were able to point out that cutlery had already been placed on our table — which, as we understood, is only done after an order is taken (which is already questionable). When we reordered, our two strawberry cups and drinks arrived separately. The cups came after about 15 minutes, one Red Bull followed 5 minutes later, and the iced latte came another 15 minutes after that — as it had been forgotten a second time. The iced latte tasted like a cheap supermarket coffee with too much milk. The strawberry cups were good. However, due to the poor service, the overall experience was unfortunately ruined for us Our stay took abt 2 1/2h because of all this.

Delicious, high-quality food for a great price. It's a shame there's so little seating and it can get super crowded, especially during Ramadan :)

DO NOT COME HERE!! Not even worth one star. Waited an hour and 10 minutes for a waffle. Besides the fact that the waffle was served so late, it fell apart... and was hard. I couldn't enjoy it at all. It was the least you could do after making someone wait an hour and a half. They're simply favoring other orders.

They have delicious waffles, Dubai Dup, and San Sabastian, which you can enjoy. It's just a shame there's almost never any room, and there's usually a queue when it's busy, especially on weekends. You want to be seated right away if you're coming with children, so I hope they can find a larger space in the future so customers can be seated right away without having to wait.

Unfortunately, I received the wrong order, and I wasn't impressed with the service. Furthermore, the cashier didn't speak Dutch, which made communication difficult. It's a shame, because the store itself is okay. Hopefully, they'll improve this in the future.

Highly recommended! The waffles were better and bigger than in the city center. The price was good too; my waffle with strawberries and chocolate sauce cost just under €8. Excellent value for money. (The opening hours are amazing, too!)

The shop is too small, packed full of people, served by entitled arrogant ladies, poor customer response at counter, I suggest you buy it from nearby shops.
