Door74 is a fab speak-easy bar with fantastic cocktails and good music. The vibe is just awesome and the atmosphere is giving. The staff is super friendly, professional and accomodating. I highly recomment it

Very good and balanced drinks, very friendly service, they did not hesitate to help us and give some suggestions, very nice interior, vibes of a good speakeasy bar in the era of prohibition.

Today is our 3rd visit. We had our first cocktail and while chatting, the waitress came and asked if we wanted anything else. I said "No" and then she asked if I could bring the bill! But we were going to chat and try the other cocktails. If you're not drinking, she basically said get out! We got bored and asked for the bill. Naturally, I pressed "no thanks" on the tip section of the POS machine and unlike the polite greeting at the door upon entering, they didn't even say goodbye. We opened the door ourselves and left. Shameful...Smug-ass... (By the way, the place was empty and we hadn't even been seated for 1 hour and the reservation said 2 hours!)

The service was absolutely top-notch. Every single staff member was attentive, friendly, and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed. The drinks were extraordinary—not your usual cocktails, though you can certainly order those as well. The menu offers something for everyone, leaving no wish unfulfilled. Overall, a fantastic experience that we will definitely recommend!

Found this place a bit overrated and definitely overpriced for what it offers. The front area has some charm, but the back feels more like a diner than a cocktail bar. Service was disappointing — we were quietly chatting and watching the bartender work (as one does at a cocktail bar), and unexpectedly got asked if we were making fun of her, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. The cocktails themselves were underwhelming and hard to finish. Not a place I’d return to.

What feels like a secret and hidden bar, with a press of the door bell to gain entry (so long as your name is on the list). A fantastic vibe with even better cocktails, we only had a brief visit for a pre-dinner drink, but we wished we’d had longer. Friendly and knowledgeable staff mix the perfect cocktails, with classics and their own inventive creations. I’d highly recommend that you get your self a reservation, slip behind the curtain, and enjoy a fantastic drink in this hidden gem.

Bit quiet but pub was very nice. Wide selection of drinks. Bartender was super helpful and even provided some food recommendations in the area.

Simply amazing. A very traditional speakeasy; unassuming from outside, which makes all the difference to the atmosphere on the inside. Do not miss this one, it's a must visit if you're in the city. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Show. Last evening in Amsterdam for me and my other half and we decided to try Door 74. Really good and above all studied cocktails, nothing is left to chance (tried a nice strong cocktail with this smoky/smoked tone on the bottom that sent me on a high). The girls who served us made us feel at home, so much so that even the one who (I think) is the owner did a great job in choosing the staff and above all her charm as an excellent hostess did not go unnoticed. We hadn't booked but good karma still allowed us to be seated and we returned home very sad because we would have liked to return the following evening but Italy was waiting for us :( See u soon!

First-class bar culture in the heart of Amsterdam. The bartenders know their craft. It's fun to watch the cocktails being prepared. The bar menu offers exceptional cocktails. Of course, the classic standard cocktails are also available. The spirits used are of high quality.

The bartenders are great! The food is amazing. Great atmosphere and fun conversation.

Nice as a shop and atmosphere. The cocktails were pretty ordinary to unremarkable, but the list was very cleverly structured. A minus that you had to pay by card because they didn't have change for cash.

Yesss loved this bar behind a conspicuous door! We went on the 2nd night of the launch of their new drinks. We were given a warm welcome and proceeded to try a few of the their new drinks which were all very unique, delicious and unique. My favourite was the one with rum ice cubes… OMG. Our barman/server was a lovely Dutch version of Charles leCLerc. A bonus! We’ll be back if we return to Amsterdam.

Always live introducing friends to this little gem in Amsterdam. Love the vibe. Great staff and the cocktails are creative and delicious. Also like that they can mix up any of your other favourites that are not on the menu.

impeccable atmosphere and service. food is a bit lackluster, as there's just a few cold snacks. still, if you go there's it's for the drinks and the vibe. the stools at the shared table are a bit hefty, so not the best experience. better experience if you get to sit to the couches

We arrived earlier then our booking but they very kindly let us in out of the rain anyway. Atmosphere was great and drinks were amazing. Staff were friendly and attentive and seemed to really care about the customer experience. Would recommend to anyone who appreciates a proper cocktail.

The best bar I’ve come across in Amsterdam

We booked 15 minutes before coming and they accepted our reservation. We were let in quite fast and our coats were very gently taken care of by the ‘door man’. Me and my friend had the ‘russian egg’ cocktail (i forgot the specific name) and it was described very nicely by the staff on how to perfectly drink and enjoy it. The second drink, we asked from off the menu, and was perfect!!! (as a bartender, it tasted exactly how i like it!!!) The staff was very funny and helpful and I will definitely be a regular to this bar from now on!! Thank you for a nice time:)

I don't understand why this place has such a high rating. Went there with my fiance tonight, didn't have a great experience. Corporate greed at its best. They put as much people inside as physically possible. We had to share a couch and a table with two other couples! As a result, no private space at all. Not even space to put your glass/ sit normally. Drinks were average. You can find better in Amsterdam. I wouldn't return and won't recommend.

Nothing special. Good drinks but nothing really outstanding. We sat in the back close enough to the bathroom to be stinky. U can definitely find a better speakeasy in Amsterdam

We had high expectations for this bar, but they fell extremely short after going. If you go, make sure you don’t get seated by the restrooms because if you do, the smell will overwhelm you and completely ruin the already downtrodden atmosphere. It seems like a regular occurrence as one of the staff immediately went and got air freshener from the back to try to deplete the smell of someone who lost control of their bowels. Out for the 5 drinks we had, only one was “okay”. The rest were completely unbalanced flavors where the drinks couldn’t even be finished. The wait staff was notified and they delivered us drinks to say sorry, but those too, are unable to be drank. Overall, skip this bar on your trip to Amsterdam and find another cocktail bar to go to.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful evening! Nice that the speakeasy bar was actually well hidden for once instead of most 'hidden' cocktail bars. Menu was unique and clearly indicated what to expect from our drinks. Bar staff quickly switched to English when they noticed that my girlfriend spoke English, which was very appreciated and we were received nicely and our coats were accepted, which I always like. Finally, the location is nicely laid out with a great view of the bar staff who do a great job! Definitely worth repeating!

Amazing drinks and staff. I found this gem on google while visiting Amsterdam and decided to check it out. It was excellent all around, and good to the point where we went back the following day! Shout out to the amazing staff who are the reason why we returned! Giolia, Andeta and the hostess with the mostest are amazing!!!!!

I paid 60 Euros for 4 cocktails, I wasn't high. Ergun bar. It is a place inflated with social media and Google comments, run by teenagers aged 20-25, where we were fired because we could not serve drinks when the place was empty but the time had expired. An insincere and low-quality business, a dark place. Couldn't you find another place in big Amaterdam?

Door 47 in Amsterdam is a fantastic speakeasy-style bar with a welcoming vibe. From the moment you’re greeted at the door, the experience feels intimate and special. We didn’t have a reservation but were able to get a table on a Sunday night, which was a nice surprise. The cocktails were incredibly well-crafted, showcasing creativity and attention to detail. While the prices are on the higher side at €15-20 per drink, the quality and presentation made it worth it. The hospitality was excellent, and the menu offered a great variety of options for all tastes. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for a unique cocktail experience, and we’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a cozy, upscale bar in Amsterdam.

An amazing cocktail bar in the heart of Amsterdam. A local friend suggested it to try during my stay. From the outside you wouldn't tell there's a bar because there's no sign and it looks like a normal building entrance. But once you go in it's a different story. The place is beautiful and classic. The staff were nice and friendly. The cocktails were amazing and the service was quick and excellent. I highly recommend it for a night out.

Everything was fine until he was suddenly kicked out of the place. They said there are pending reservations, get up, and threw the bill in front of us. I've been to almost all European countries and this is the first time I've encountered something like this.

I had very high expectations coming here, it seems to be fully booked all the time and a “impossible to get a table” image is given to this place as it has its own special cocktails and cozy environment. It’s not a bad spot but it’s not what anyone expects when going there whatsoever. Firstly, they do not pick up their phone calls at all. When you are late 15 minutes they serve your spot to someone-else DIRECTLY. The place is extremely small and everyone is squished in, you need to share tables with RANDOM people if you are not a group of 4. The staff is somewhat friendly but also not really at the same time. The cocktails were fine but nothing really special, that especially did not live up-to my expectations, also very small for 18 euros, a bit more than a shot. It tasted like a cherry vodka mix you do at home. So overall maybe not an extremely disastrous place and its alright but the marketing for this place is not what it is and the prices do not match what you get, I would rather go to W hotel rooftop to drink an actually decent cocktail for that price. Not to mention, theres a seat next to the entrance that was our reserved spot, we sat in the doorway and were told that was our spot. My intention is not to slander this bar at all, I just want people to know what to expect before going there !

The bar has a very cool theme. A little mysterious from the start as the setting gives you the feeling of getting into a secret club. In contrast, everyone working there was super nice. The menu itself is amazing, well thought and well finished. And the cocktails are creative.

A NYE we won't be forgetting 🍾🥂 🌵🥃 Loved the subtle, speak easy entrance (there aren't any signs so keep an eye out for a green door - the Google pin is accurate) The place had great ventilation, a great selection of beverages in their new years package, bathrooms were clean and the acoustics/music wasn't deafening... If you're looking for a hidden gem to have a couple of drinks at post dinner, this definitely the place to be... Our experience with this cocktail bar was downright disappointing. We wanted to walk in at 6:00 PM without a reservation, but the hostess immediately gave us the impression that nothing was possible. When we asked about available time slots, we didn't get a clear answer. To our surprise, we saw that there was a table available for two times two people, but not for three people. This came across as unnecessarily rigid and customer unfriendly. The attitude of the front hostess made it even worse. Not only did she respond rudely, but she seemed completely uninterested in finding a solution. Her arrogant and condescending way of communicating made us feel completely unwelcome. A bar that goes to such lengths to appear exclusive should offer at least a basic level of hospitality. This was unfortunately a major disappointment, and I won't be visiting this place again anytime soon.

Great host, great service, best old fashioned ever, amazing cocktails and presentation. We felt like home. Cosy, welcoming. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning! I want to like this place. Cocktails are tasty but 90% Ice block. Volume is also important, and not talking Antarctica Monolythic Ice blocks. Love a speakeasy, but its for the American Tourists. Like the drinks, some great ideas, and good location, but Eur 70 for 4 drinks of mostly ice, moving on ;).

Secret bars and speakeasies are something else. The environment does not involve the customer in the slightest, it is a place like many others, very small, with a very small bathroom. The drinks aren't bad, there's some effort behind it. In my opinion, the high prices don't just justify the drinks, there are nicer pubs

Artificial Waiting Line: Despite empty tables inside, we were kept outside for at least 10 minutes. It felt like they were trying to create a false sense of exclusivity. 2. Dull Atmosphere: The vibe was far from lively. Low-volume music and uninspired decor left us underwhelmed. 3. Needs a Refresh: The interior, walls, and overall space desperately need some attention and care. 4. Underwhelming Cocktails: As a passionate cocktail lover, I was very disappointed. The drinks lacked creativity and flavor. 5. Poor Ventilation: We were seated near the restroom, and the smell was unpleasant—definitely not what you expect from a so-called high-end bar. Overall, Door 74 did not live up to its reputation. I would not recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a memorable or celebratory experience.

We had a great time celebrating a birthday and made new friends here. The cocktails were amazing and service was wonderful and personable. The space could use a little updating to elevate the experience even more.

Great atmosphere and vibe! The entrance is so hard to find it’s exciting. The lady on the door sat us down and welcomed us and then gave us a better table when some one cancelled. The drinks are delicious and really different to traditional cocktail bars. The bar tender cleaned our drinks quicker then we asked but then gave us a free shot to say thanks. Beautiful inside and highly recommend for a pre or post dinner drink.

I’ve been trying to get inside for a while, it’s really unique cocktail bar, it has everything looking different, the drinks, the vibe everything about it is different but really good drinks, it’s a little cozy inside and a bit tight but overall it’s a good place. Keep in mind you have to make a reservation in advance 👍🏼

Specifically looked for a hidden gem of a bar in Amsterdam and here we found it. Fantastic music playlist compliments the vibe. The drink menu in book form was a lot of fun. The drinks we had were fabulous. If we are ever in the area again, it's a must stop!

The service is very bad and I don't know why. The place is nice, but the bar staff are very rude. They laugh with you at first, but then their behavior changes after you pay.

No logo no branding in front, Door 74 is a hidden gen of a speakeasy that captures the vibes of the Prohibition era with a modern twist. Dim lighting and warm decorations create an cozy atmosphere, such as perfect place for a night out. The cocktail menu which was created as a book is a highlight. The mixologist was showcasing his amazing mixing skills through every drinks. Such a true mixology artist! Holy Water is my favorite drink, as well as Jawa Juice! Service is attentive and giving a chill, comfortable vibes. Door 74 is a such delightful escape from our everyday, offering a unique blend of ambiance, exceptional drinks, and a touch of nostalgia!
