Delicious cappuccino and salmon sandwich

Upon arrival, we were told to go to the bar, where we couldn't order; we had to sit down. We took a table by the window, which still contained the dirty plates and glasses from previous guests. We tried our hand at the menu, but that was it. The staff (four children) behind the counter refused to help us and only gave us a slightly askance look. After 10 minutes, we left this desolate place. I didn't mind spending a fortune on a small pastry, tea, and a toasted sandwich. But after the humiliation we endured, they can eat their expensive junk themselves.

The sandwiches were delicious, but we found the portions very small and very expensive. We paid €32 for one sandwich (the size of a Kaiser roll) with some chips and one soft drink per person. I wouldn't go back there anytime soon.

I like coming here, we enjoy a good selection of drinks and food. It’s a pity that it’s only open until 5:00 p.m.

Good products. However, the store is downright filthy. An older man paces back and forth while there's a lot going on. The floors are incredibly dirty. The counter at the bottom is damaged. The container with takeaway supplies (lids, sugar, stirrers, etc.) is dirty, and several compartments are empty. The overall impression is very poor. A shame for such a great store.

The service is a bit inconsistent, but I think that's mostly due to who's in charge that day. Last time, we left because the empty tables weren't cleared or cleaned, and even after waiting five minutes, we still weren't helped, even though the staff were chatting among themselves.

The coffee was good, the staff friendly. But we had to wait a very long time for a coffee to go. And all that while there were six people behind the counter, on their phones, looking around, chatting with each other... with only one woman taking orders. Efficient? Not so much.

Delicious coffee/hot chocolate! Super tasty carrot cake, and what fantastic staff! It's a shame we don't live around the corner, otherwise we would definitely have come here more often! A gentleman came in who wasn't feeling well, and then they gave him a full bag of deposit money. How often do you see this these days? It's really great of these people to do this! The restroom was also surprisingly clean! So nice!

A must for anyone visiting the shops at The Wall. Good food, excellent coffee, and friendly, helpful service. A household name for years.

The sandwiches were delicious. The staff was friendly but seemed a bit unprofessional. They dropped cutlery and didn't pick it up (twice). It took a while, so we asked if we could get my son's sandwich first. Everything was ready, "Come on in..." We were still waiting, and his sandwich arrived last. But the food and drinks were delicious. I thought the prices were a bit high.

A cheesecake portion is made for gnomes. 5 euros for a tiny piece.

The chairs have not been cleaned once. Everything was dirty. We took two drinks which were okay but I am hoping the glasses have been cleaned. Chaotic and disorganized service.

The staff was very chaotic... there were only young people there, and it didn't feel like there was even a manager present. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn't good either, and I've rarely seen such a disgusting establishment.

The food and coffee are good. It's in the Wall, so it's not really cozy.

Please note! This location doesn't have gluten-free bread options. We chose this place for lunch because several gluten-free options were advertised online. A QR code on the menu at the location indicated these options were available, but upon inquiry, it turned out this wasn't the case at this location. As a result, my girlfriend's choice was limited to a salad. The food itself was fine, and the iced tea was delicious. The atmosphere was also great, but the service only came by the first time we were sitting outside to take our order, so we didn't order any additional drinks.

Weak coffee, even after I said something about it and got a 2nd cup. The fresh mint tea wasn't great either, there were brown leaves in it. The 2nd star is for the friendly and fast service. When paying, they politely asked if the 2nd cup was better, no. And I got the coffee for free. Very correct of the young lady who helped us.

The worst coffee I have ever had. Absolutely no taste, watery and way too expensive. Not recommended.

Good coffee and friendly baristas. They gave us 2 spoons to share our carrot cake and it was nice that they know initiatively.

Perfect ice cappuccino, delicious coffee, just enough ice and milk, great! Ice matcha mango was also tasty.

I'm really impressed! The croissants 🥐 were amazing! Coffee was also just perfect and made with a lot of love! The gentleman who served us was very friendly and accommodating! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll come back!! Simply great!

Everything was excellent, loved the desserts, and very nice staff. Try the tiramisu!

Stopped here for a quick sandwich during my cycling trip and ended up staying for more than just that! The salmon sandwich was excellent—fresh and flavorful. They also have a great selection of cakes; I went for the red velvet and was quite happy with my choice. Service was fast and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!

We had a toasted sandwich and a ciabatta salami. Both sandwiches are way too expensive for what you get and the sandwich is tasteless. The service was fine.

Nice place to relax for a while.

We went to Doppio for lunch today. The waiter got our order wrong, but the manager (I think) noticed immediately and we received the correct order within 5 minutes! He even insisted on giving us our one drink on the house. We really appreciated how the miscommunication was handled. Overall the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, the Chicken Melt was delicious and their coffee was some of the best we’ve had in the Netherlands. We’ll be back!

This is very unfortunate. Based on the menu, the food seems delicious, but half of the ingredients listed were not included. Furthermore, the sandwich was so small that it was certainly not worth the 11.50 each.

Super cozy place with very friendly employees. It is certainly our favorite place to drink delicious coffee and have a delicious lunch.

I have always been to Doppio for a quick coffee and brunch, however the entire experience gets spoiled because of a single waiter. I was there on Sunday for a quick coffee and brunch. The coffee arrived in acceptable time, however the food did not arrive for 20 minutes. I just went to the counter to ask for cheque and casually mentioned that I need to leave as I have an appointment. To that I was told "PLEASE GO TO MC DONALDS NEXT TIME!!!!". I was furious and did ask the person that do you talk to all your customers like this and he responded "YES, I DO". I do not think such arrogance is acceptable and I can assure that I have not left out or modified any conversation in this review. I am definitely not going there again.

Absurd how long you have to wait here. Is 2/3 full (count 12-14 tables occupied). There is an army of 8 men behind the counter. Had to wait more than 45 minutes for three sandwiches and the coffee was not hot either. Don't go here if you want to eat something between shopping.

Had to wait more than 15 minutes for 2 coffees, then ordered food. Sandwich without tomato, unfortunately 1 layer of the sandwich was completely covered with tomato and there was little else topping on it... the forcaccia with egg, there was more egg on the plate than on the sandwich, we liked the chips that we got with it. . In addition, what we think is the owner I don't think a performance review with an employee who we could listen to is very professional.

Today we waited more than 10 minutes and while there were 3 employees present, they looked at me in turn and did not think it was necessary to take an order while an employee was quietly drinking yogurt himself. Then I got up and had coffee nearby at another place where my order was taken immediately. Too bad I'm not used to this, smooth, attentive employees used to work here.

Good food and friendly service, but the terrace is not nice. The terrace is unpleasant and very noisy due to the adjacent road.

It is a cosy place. If you go shopping in the wall, a nice place to rest and have a great coffee. It has a modern and cosy atmosphere inside. The people are friendly.

Prices are not okay, €5.00 for a cold filter coffee that is practically water.... Save your money and don't go here!

Ate a goat's cheese salad. The salad was absolutely freshly made with shavings of goat cheese and fresh figs in it. The taste was mediocre (neutral), which was because only oil was used as a dressing. I asked for salt and possibly honey, which immediately added some flavor. Next time I would order something different.

It took a long time before we were helped. When our order was finally taken, the sandwich I ordered arrived fairly quickly. They had forgotten my wife's coffees and cake. We had to remind them of our order and it then took another 10 minutes until we finally got the coffees and got the cake. Unfortunately, we then discovered that my wife's cake was moldy. When my wife came to change the cake, she was ridiculed by one of the employees and the moldy cake was eaten in one bite by this employee. So in short a scandalous company.

Very bad experience. The floor is sticky, tables are dirty and are not cleaned at all. And this despite the fact that there is plenty of staff available. The interior is unkempt, leather is peeling from the furniture. The door was opened even though it was very cold. When we asked if the door could be closed, we were told that this was not possible because otherwise it would be dangerous with the heat of the oven (?!). And if we just wanted to wait half an hour. In short, very poor service and not customer friendly.

Not open at 9am on Tuesdays. Then adjust your opening hours!

A nice coffee lounge / restaurant. You can have a nice lunch here or enjoy a cup of coffee and cake. I really like the tiramisu 👌🏻I had a tuna melt for lunch which also tasted good. One comment/point for improvement is the garnish of chips, which looks very cheap. I would opt for something raw. I also think the lounge space could be a bit more spectacular, perhaps you would get more customers/regulars.

Eerst de foute koffie geserveerd, daarna de goede en helaas lauwe koffie. Dit terwijl we geen ijskoffie hadden besteld. Voldoende personeel, toch zelf naar de bar gegaan om te bestellen. Eens maar nooit weer.

De ziel is uit deze zaak vetrokken. Waar ik 4 jaar geleden nog een positieve review achterliet. Was mijn bezoek vandaag een ware teleurstelling. De zaak is een rommeltje geworden! Beschadigde zitbanken, een leeg statief waarschijnlijk nog van de coronaperiode waar desinfectie inzat. Stof... heel veel stof.. Vieze stoelen.. hoop rommel op de kasten en dergelijke zonder functie. Tot een kleine oerlelijke vriezer of koelkast in de zaak... kan nog wel even doorgaan. Maar met enkele jaren geleden is het interieur er echt zwaar op achteruit gegaan. Daarnaast zijn er veel vliegen in de zaak. Meestal ook geen goed teken. Koffie is nog wel altijd goed. Lekker bakkie! Lunch was ok... Italiaanse tosti "oud vertrouwd" nummertje van Doppio De verse Jus moesten we erbij denken. Want die was op. Opvallend was wel dat de zaak met 8 man personeel nog niet te runnen was... Kwamen erg onervaren over. Daar is echt training nodig. Tijdens mijn bezoek werd een jong meisje achter de kassa half afgesnouwd omdat ze een kassa rolletje verkeerd in de machine deed. Kwamen mensen stukken taart terugbrengen omdat ze oud proefde... en liepen mensen weg omdat de wachtrij voor een take-away koffie te lang was. Ik zou zeggen tegen de eigenaar.. investeer in nieuw meubilair, geef de zaak weer een frisse look.. en train je personeel! Anders is het denk ik een aflopende zaak.

Eten en drinken was wel oke, wrap was lekket en qua prijs zat het wel goed, ruimte en sfeer viel wat tegen. Tevens zag het er niet helemaal schoon uit. Mensen naast ons vonden dat ze te lang moesten wachten op hun drinken.

Nice place to have a good lunch and coffee

Na mijn bezoek aan het winkelcentrum heb ik in deze zaak, voor het eerst, een kop koffie (met wat lekkers erbij) gedronken. De zaak ziet er modern ingericht en netjes uit. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en gedraagt zich attent. De zaak heeft ook een terras.

Héél lang moeten wachten op 2 wraps met zalm (die 12 euro per stuk zijn!!) Gelukkig was het wel heel lekker.

Wonderfully delicious, in both the coffee they sell and the atmosphere they generate. Also, a well-designed canteen can be acquired here, that can keep your coffee cold/hot as long as you wish. Tested it with the hot coffee, and learned that can last throughout the day, if that’s your fancy. Comes with a free coffee, so would recommend!

De koffie was waterig een echt gezellig wordt het niet gauw in The Wall. Maar de bediening was vriendelijk.

Kom je binnen, ga je zitten en wacht je netjes tot iemand je bestelling komt opnemen. In tussentijd komen 3 andere stellen binnen die gaan zitten en worden als eerste geholpen. Slechte service dus. Eindelijk 2 tosti's besteld die zo smakeloos waren dat duidelijk diepvries tosti's waren. Homemade limonade gemaakt met lauw kraanwater, en ze proberen zich te verkopen als een Italiaanse chique tent, waar het enige dat chique is de prijs.

Busy little cafe, good service, good food and drinks and for a reasonable price!

Hier onlangs geluncht, vriendelijk personeel die je graag helpen. Het eten is heerlijk en er is genoeg keuze. Erg gezellige plek met binnen allerlei leuke koffie/thee gerelateerde zaken die je kan kopen. Heel veel verschillende soorten thee en koffie smaken. Alleen daarvoor zou je er nog eens heen gaan.

Ik krijg een italiaanse tosti uit de vriezer. Smakeloos. Kan..geen issue. Maar als je dan gevraagd wordt of het smaakte, en je zegt nee, dan krijg je binnen 2 milliseconde het antwoord dat als ik dat eerder had gezegd er iets aan gedaan had kunnen worden. Alsof er nu niets meer aan gedaan kan worden (is gewoon feedback na een vraag) en..alsof ik dat zou willen. Die tosti vind ik gewoon niet lekker maar om dan te zeggen dat IK iets moet doen of had moeten doen terwijl de vraag gesteld wordt of het lekker was is onbeschoft. Slecht..train je mensen beter.

Samen een broodje delen, geen probleem. Samen een appeltaart delen, ook geen probleem. Super lekker, uitstekende kwaliteit. Met een lekkere cappuchino erbij, hadden we een momentje tussen de inkopen door. Voelde als vakantie.

Het kan zo mooi zijn. Een mooi concept met lekkere koffie fijne brunch- en lunchkaart. Helaas is de empathie van het personeel het breekpunt. Vanmorgen hier gestopt voor een familie brunch. Het toilet leek defect en op slot. Personeel ziet 3 dames wachten voor het toilet en handelt niet, pas nadat een van de wachtenden er om vraagt komt er een mededeling van een defect toilet en een sorry. Dan pas met een briefje aangeven dat er een defect is. Klanten lopen boos weg. Het bestelde duurde lang bij het uitserveren aan tafel, hoewel het niet druk was en er tenminste 5 personeelsleden aanwezig waren. Bestelde bowl blueberry leek al kant en klaar in de mix, voorzien van fruit dat niet op de kaart stond en niet in de smaak viel. Bij de lunch compleet geen jus d'orange. Extra bestelde koffie en thee kwamen pas bijna na afloop van de brunch en na het extra navragen waar het bestelde bleef. Doppio, mooi concept maar valt op staat met personeel die snappen wat service, snelheid en gastvrijheid zijn betekend.
