Beautiful but noisy location in the Stevenskapel. Simple design but well suited for coffee and pastries. Lunch also looks well taken care of. Small scale and no terrace. But you are really in the middle of the beautiful church.

A waitress walks by and clearly doesn't feel like it.

Very special and beautiful with the singing of Pascas and the great acoustics.

We have coffee and cake here. You have to enter through the entrance of the Stevenskerk. Very nice place in the church! The staff was very nice.

Interesting museum with cozy restaurant

Café Droom in the Bastei, high overlooking the Waal, turned out to be the perfect location for our reunion with 40 people. After the tour, very tasty snacks were served in the café by friendly, knowledgeable boys and girls.

Food was great, only waiting too long.

Delicious cake and coffee, excellent service, beautiful view. One disadvantage: the toilet was really dirty!

Beautiful terrace, delicious food made with attention

You walk through the fortress walls of Nijmegen and literally get a glimpse into the history of Nijmegen. It is special to walk there as a tourist, knowing that people have fought and died in that place over the centuries.

Very nice museum, also nice if you are from the area and want to see a little more about the Ice Age, etc. The children also had a great time. If you can call it a disadvantage, there are many topics in a small area. Sometimes you miss out on some depth as a result.

This restaurant is part of the De Bastei museum. Beautiful space and a terrace with a beautiful view of the Waal River and the famous bridge. Small menu, but there is something tasty for everyone. Friendly service.

Recently DREAM! visited the Bastei at the Waalkade in Nijmegen. It was very worthwhile. You literally descend into the history of Nijmegen in the foundations of one of the very old defenses. Lots of interesting information also through films, excavations and remains of archaeological finds. In addition, a lot of information about nature and animals in the vicinity of the moraine. Visiting is also very fun and educational for children. At the end of the visit you will arrive at the restaurant on the 4th floor where you can have a drink or a delicious lunch with a fantastic view over the Waal. We enjoyed!

Great cafe, good view from the roof terrace. They have a limited range. You can also go there when you are not visiting the museum.

We enjoyed the delicious food while enjoying the beautiful view. The food is freshly prepared and therefore smells wonderful. The apple pie is also to die for. The service is friendly and there is a nice, quiet atmosphere. Recommended!

Beautiful museum, the children loved the treasure hunt! We had a delicious lunch in the restaurant upstairs, from here you also have a very nice view of the Waal, quay and bridge.

Buffet dinner was fine. Perfect operation. Beautiful view of the old Waal Bridge and the Ooy from the balcony. All our expectations have been met. Without exception, our 55 participating members were positive about Droom.

It is located on top of the (also fantastic) Bastei museum. The terrace offers a beautiful view over the Waal. The service is very friendly.

Great location, fantastic view, super friendly staff and super delicious food for a relatively reasonable price. Highly recommended! We had a bread board (don't be alarmed because it will be a really large board with more bread on it than you expect.) And the goat cheese sandwich with ginger tea and coffee. All so delicious! Followed by apple pie with mint tea and a latte. You just have to try the apple pie, they are famous for it.

A great location. Too bad there was some confusion at the entrance. Not to DREAM if there is no reservation at the museum!? And maybe looking for volunteers who want to clean the floor. Otherwise great place!

Nice service. Pleasant other visitors who came for coffee after a museum visit. Large latte (super!) and dream cake. I was introduced to a social deal promotion, so I cannot judge the price. Too bad that most of the tables are positioned in such a way that you can't see the beautiful view properly... The tables outside are also partly in front of it, but sitting there was much too cold in the winter.
