I went with my girls there. Every dish was curated with love. We ordered vegetarian pizza, Ravioli al limone, Tagliatelle al tartufo and Nutella ice cream. i would really say its like traditional flavors meeting with modern elegance. Mr.Cosimo such a lovely person to meet. Staff& service was very nice too.

Great experience. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I recommend anyone coming to Rotterdam to come and taste Due Tonîno.

The Margherita pizza is flavorful and has plenty of cheese. The Strozzapreti alla Carbonara is saucy and has a good amount of guanciale, which I love, and I didn't find is as heavy as carbonara usually is. The Tiramisu is good. Great way to finish the meal!

The only drawback is that you have to climb a few steps to get to the toilet, which is not very convenient if you are disabled. Otherwise, the restaurant is decorated in a nostalgic style and the food is delicious. There is also nothing to complain about regarding the staff, which is very friendly and you can even eat there without a reservation if it has not already been booked. You definitely get value for money in this restaurant.

Great place!! Totally worth going to. Packed, reservation only one a Wednesday night if that tells you anything. Food was great, prices good. Service above average. I would go back without hesitation.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful meal. The atmosphere was very pleasant all evening, thanks in part to the friendly service and the charming setting. The food was delicious, starting with the delicious gluten-free bread. Even for me, who eats gluten, this bread was delicious. Afterwards, we enjoyed delicious pasta dishes. I chose the Misto sensazione and my girlfriend a gluten-free Spaghetti al ragù. Both are highly recommended. For dessert, I had to choose the tiramisu, and for the first time, I had the scroppino. Both were also fantastic. I have to give everything five stars. It's been a long time since we've had such a delicious and pleasant meal. Grazie mille!

I don't understand all the good reviews. The pizza is bland and not traditionally Italian. Everything is very expensive; the pizzas were around €19 each. The cheapest bottle of wine is €28 and definitely not recommended. The water is also very expensive, €7. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Me, my brother & my parents had a wonderful dinner here last Saturday! I was looking for one of my favourite dishes - Cacio e Pepe - and I found this restaurant. The atmosphere was great, staff very nice and the food even better! It is authentic Italian, both the people and the food. Also loved the decoration. Would definitely recommend this place! I for sure want to come back and try out all the other dishes!

Tiramisu was really good and the pizzas were good. The owner is super nice however I think it is about 20% overpriced for the food and drinks.

It was very tasty, we only bought pasta but it was very tasty. We also received a compliment from the boss, one shot of limoncello. Grazie mille 🇮🇹

Delicious and traditional Italian

The ambiance feels very authentic, and the staff are friendly, creating a great atmosphere with spontaneous dance performances. We were asked at the beginning if we wanted an aperitif. Since we weren't given a drinks menu and therefore had no price comparison, we ordered one. We had a pizza and a pasta dish. The food was good, but not outstanding, and the portions were significantly too small for a main course. We also didn't think the prices were justified. Quality comes at a price, although we've eaten at several Italian restaurants of similar quality and received reasonable portions.

We thoroughly enjoyed it; every dish was a delight. The service was excellent, except for one minor hiccup, and the atmosphere was wonderful. You could tell everyone was enjoying the food, service, and drinks. Our 29th wedding anniversary was a success, thanks in part to Due Tonino.

A great little italian place i Rotterdam

We ordered a Cacio e pepe and a Scaloppine Martin. The Scaloppine Martin was nice but Cacio e pepe was runny and not creamy. We then ordered Tiramisu for dessert, the mascarpone cream part was tasty but lafyfingers were very hard - which should not be the case for tiramisu. We raised the problem to one staff and she replied with an attitude “yes because we just made it 2 hours ago”. That should not be the explanation for a spoiled dessert, everyone knows tiramisu needs to stay in the fridge long hours enough for ladyfingers to be soft and therefore it is the restaurant’s responsibility to make the dish well in advance to be servable at opening hours. Staff were also pushy on getting extra orders.

What an amazing place that I wish we'd found earlier. Fantastic food - I had grilled shrimp, with potatoes, veg and salad with the most delicious cheesecake. The host was friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is homely. Would definitely recommend

Stopped here by chance for dinner whilst on holiday and loved it. A lovely restaurant with delicious food. The owners are so helpful.

Very nice Italian restaurant, with friendly staff, good food and good service. We went there as a group from Timeleft dinner with strangers. We had a good welcome and nice appetizers and dinner. I had the Risotto Nero, which was fantastic! But if you plan to order that, make sure you take a toothbrush with you, because you won't be able to smile with your teeth the rest of the evening 😄 The bathroom is a few steps up the ground floor, so might not be ideal for individuals with special needs or use wheelchair.

A very charming restaurant, but the prices are a bit high. I personally find €19.70 for a rather bland pizza calzone a bit steep. €7 for a bottle of water is truly absurd.

Delicious food and great service!

I don't quite understand all the good reviews. I didn't think the pastas were above average. Most of the mussels had already fallen out of their shells. The calamari starters were overpriced. Bruschetta was burnt black on the edges, I wouldn't come back here again. We spent 350 euros for 4 people.

The ambiance and staff are generally pleasant, but unfortunately our experience has been rather the opposite. The dining area was extremely crowded and noisy, with tables placed uncomfortably close to one another, compromising comfort. Service was unexpectedly slow — we waited an hour and 50 min for a simple pasta dish. When the food finally arrived, it fell short of expectations: the pasta was overcooked and lacked the quality one would hope for an Italian restaurant. Additionally, the prices were surprisingly high given both the service experience and the food quality. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to those seeking a good Italian dining experience.

When I had my exchange in Rotterdam, this was my go to place for Italian food! The service and atmosphere is outstanding as they treat all of their customers as their friends. We were welcomed with their signature limoncello spritz as we waited for the food. All dishes felt authentic and tasted really good. We finished the meal off with their home made tiramisu which was also delicious.

We were lucky that a spot became available in the reservation system because it is often full here on the weekend. The place has a cozy living room atmosphere and the food is always good! Real Italian food and also very suitable for children. We like to come here with our family. The staff is great and hardworking! The space inside is a bit tight but they make it work. Paid parking in front of the door.

It's really delicious, the ingredients they use are fresh and delicious. We're addicted, we come every week. Even I, who don't like seafood, love their seafood pizza! I definitely recommend it. You won't regret it!

Top restaurant!! Authentic Italian dishes and not just pizza or pasta on the menu, but plenty of choice of meat or fish dishes. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and cozy. The service was very hospitable and Cosimo in particular was very involved with us. The food was excellent, well seasoned and not too much or too little, but just right! What we also liked was that there was enough time between all the dishes, so you really had an evening out in an Italian atmosphere :-)). Not the cheapest but definitely worth it! Grazie!

Authentic Italian restaurant. The small tables that are a little too close together create an intimate atmosphere. The menu contains dishes that you will not find at every Italian.

Good dining in a small and cozy Italian restaurant. Tuna carpaccio, grilled swordfish and cheesecake. Nice wine list, Chardonnay tasted excellent. Nice informal service. We will be back soon.

The olives and bread we mentioned at the beginning were very nice, be sure to ask for them. Pizza arrived a little burnt. Pasta had average taste. Overall we were satisfied.

Italian food, what could go wrong? Apparently a lot, and to my surprise it is regularly full here. We have eaten here a number of times. The food is not great, a bit bland or too much salt or otherwise nothing special. Prices are downright high, a bottle of wine with starter, main and dessert and you're looking at 150 euros. What we liked in the beginning was the Italian chaos with the service. We felt downright ripped off when the owner asked us if we wanted a limoncello just before paying. This is often free - he also asked for it this way; unexpectedly not with this host, 2 small shot glasses, 2 x 7 euros extra. With all the other Italian restaurants in the area, we will not return here.

After a chaotic reception, our reserved table was not yet available, but the delicious food and Italian atmosphere made up for everything. The boss was kind enough to offer us a drink while waiting on the outside terrace, which was also on the final bill😛 He then made up for it with 3 glasses of limoncello 💖
