Really good food, thanks! And we left something in the restaurant, the owner called us the next day to solve this. Excellent service and honest.

Food is not special, bruschetta and a bowl of olives as a starter. Tomato on bruschetta was very wet, which made the toast very soggy. Main course veal medallion with mushroom cream sauce + fries and salad. (31.00 Euro) Veal medallion were two flattened pieces of meat, so overcooked snitchzel instead of pink baked veal medallion. Taste of the sauce + fries was reasonable. You don't taste the meat, it was buried under the sauce with mushrooms. Salad was dressed with whiskey cocktail sauce?? Strange combination, when I asked why it wasn't nicely dressed with a good olive oil and vinegar the answer was that that was old-fashioned?? Cappuccino after the meal was really undrinkable, only tasted like warm milk. Not drunk indicated that the coffee was undrinkable, nothing was done about it and it was simply on the bill. Total including wine 115.00 euros for two people is not a price/quality ratio. Service not very hospitable. The website states that you can park easily and for free at the restaurant. That is not the case, it is paid parking. That was 8.59 euros. Unfortunately, we will not be repeating it. I also do not fully understand the good reviews, but perhaps the satisfaction is only when you simply order a pizza or pasta?

Food excellent, service by the owner and the ladies perfect. When we entered, the music was way too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. But after 2 requests the volume was lowered considerably and the music was relegated to the background. The positive thing is that the music was Italian and so loud. We already experience too many Asian and Italian restaurants where James Last and the like predominate 😞. Furthermore, the atmosphere was truly Sicilian/Italian. You really feel like you're in Italy. In short: see you soon as far as we're concerned! Arrivederci.

Nice place, delicious food. Good staff, but way too fast. They also did not know that an order had already been taken and they literally stood at your table every few minutes. I love good service, but this was overkill, so we finished our starter, main and dessert in 42 minutes 🤣

If you are here to dine on site. It is best to make a reservation. But we were lucky, because the table was only reserved at 6:30 and we were there at 4:30 so plenty of time to eat. We had a round bread with herb butter as a starter. As a main course you could choose from many types of pizzas and pastas. There was also plenty of choice for vegetarians. We all decided to have spaghetti. It was delicious!!! I couldn't finish my plate, it was so much. For dessert I had a kind of pudding and the rest had Dame Blanche and other ice cream. We really enjoyed ourselves and the service was also very friendly. It was very cozy

Super cozy! Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff who helped with disabilities. We asked for a quiet table due to high sensitivity and were immediately put in an empty part (nice and quiet). They even offered to turn the music down a bit. The staff checked in regularly and made nice conversations. Food was very tasty (much better than dominos or nyp) and great price for the quality/quantity! We will definitely come here more often instead of picking up from a pizza place.

Great meal. 2 dishes were cold inside, but they could be warmed up quickly. As a surprise, €6 worth of bread was on the bill even though we had not ordered it. The woman serving indicated that this may have been for another table, but since some had been eaten, it had to be paid for. (Since we were the first, this couldn't have been the case for others.) I don't like this scam, hence 1 star for service.

Nostalgia, we used to eat here more often with my parents. Atmosphere and service are as usual. Food was delicious. It's just a shame that the melon dessert (hollowed out melon with ice cream and decorated with melon balls) is no longer on the menu. Unfortunately the panna cotta was gone. There was only one waitress who stood less than half a meter away from our table for at least 10 minutes and literally watched us eat (and looked around the restaurant), which felt a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise absolutely great.

Delicious food. Wide choice and neat, fast service. Preparing the pasta took a little longer due to crowds. This was neatly indicated and everything was served at the same time. Tip; the Tres Pasta is highly recommended!

This is another real authentic pizzaria. The well-known plastered arches with hanging grape vines and the empty wine bottles with candles in them create an authentic atmosphere. The quality of the food is more than good, the atmosphere relaxed. A visit guarantees an evening of good food and fun

Take mussels in advance, large oven dish with a few mussels in a tomato sauce. So this says it all. No vegetables, no cheese. Very boring in my opinion. Had a pizza for the main course, unfortunately I got the wrong pizza and the staff kept insisting that I had the pancetta pizza. While my neighbor had pancetta on her pizza, I didn't. And my neighbor ordered a pizza without pancetta.

Ate here last weekend. We have been getting take-out for years and now we have eaten on site once. It is a cozy family restaurant that you don't see that much anymore, the decor is a bit old-fashioned, but that makes it very atmospheric. This time I had lamb chops and they were super small, they were not cooked “medium rare”, I think they were too small for that... quite tasty, but I have eaten them better before. Pizzas and pastas are always delicious! The shrimp beforehand were also tasty. The wine list is very limited, for an Italian restaurant I expected a bit more. Service is top notch!! All in all it was a very successful evening.

Real Italian food, you feel like Italy here. Mainly Italian staff. We don't come there often, but we have for at least 20 years. Nice atmosphere and the food is worth the money

Food is perfect. Everything arrived on time and well cooked despite the crowds in the restaurant. Service was excellent. This lady who served us was beautiful to see and very friendly. She enjoyed her work very much. Atmosphere is lovely. Nice and casual. No loud background music. You can have a nice chat with your company. Just a shame, but il corretto cannot do anything about that, parking in the area has become paid. More than 2 euros per hour.

Traditional old fashioned Italian restaurant. Interior is pretty outdated although this might also feel charming. The young staff was very friendly and fast, however one of them was disciplined in front of us by an older colleague in a not so friendly matter, not very professional. Food was okay for the price. Didn't like the bread, it wasn't well-baked either. Pizza dough was also a bit strange taste. It was very crispy and thin though.

Always a good place to go out for dinner. Food is tasty staff is nice. This time a somewhat lesser experience, they probably forgot our order. Because they were surprised when they asked us if we wanted anything and I said yes after my pizza...

Pepperoni pizza was dry and salty. Leave after 1 bite. This is my 2nd experience. The first time I had a large piece of tough steak with fried potatoes and peas. I like to go to another restaurant.

Excellent pizzas. Nothing special. The pesto on the pizza was not fresh. I thought that was a shame and it was less tasty. The staff walked aimlessly in circles. They looked around, but didn't act on what they saw. When questions were empty, nothing was asked, the order was not taken, we were not asked if we wanted dessert or anything like that. Very bad. We would have liked a dessert, but because the service took too long, at a certain point we ran out of time and had to pay. We indicated this at checkout, but no response was received. We were also unable to pay by card and we were told this 10 minutes before departure. The service could have announced this earlier, so that we could have started using the debit card a little more calmly. I would not recommend this restaurant and would not return.

Lekker gegeten in dit Italiaanse restaurant! Echt goede bediening, ook al was het helemaal vol. Goede pizza en pasta, zoals het hoort.

Service was very fast considering how crowded it was and how big our group was. It should be like this in every restaurant, but unfortunately you don't find it as they have it here in many places anymore. Food was of good quality, but I would've personally preferred not having the full fish, but just the filet. Other than that great value for your money.

Eten is zeer lekker. De keuze uitgebreid. De zaak is sfeervol ingericht. Vriendelijke bediening. Minpuntje is dat we op dat moment niet konden pinnen. Hierdoor een tripje naar de geldautomaat moeten maken

Altijd weer een feestje om hier te eten. Goed eten, vriendelijke bediening en fijne sfeer.

Een erg gezellig ingericht restaurant met goed eten en prima wijn. Vriendelijke bediening. Minpuntje is dat je vrijwel bij de mensen naast je aan de tafel zit. (Tenminste bij onze tafel was dit het geval)

Mijn bedrijf heeft pizza’s van Il Carretto besteld van tevoren voor een werk evenement. Geweldig klantenservice en hele lekkere pizza’s. Zeker een aanrader :)

Heerlijk gegeten! Leuk en kundig personeel.

Gezellig restaurant/familiebedrijf. Heel goed eten. Knus interieur, heerlijk sfeervol. Echte Italiaanse keuken. Proberen en zeker weten dat je er vaker komt. Je kunt bestellen en afhalen, maar ter plaatste eten is echt een aanrader. Eet smakelijk.

Een echte pizzeria zoals een pizzeria moet zijn. Pizza's zijn heerlijk, de bodem niet te dik of te dun en ook niet zout 🥰 De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is heel goed.

Im Caretto Pizzeria und Spaghetteria Das Lokal liegt am Stadtrand von Rotterdam. Es ist ein rustikal typisch Pizzeria eingerichtetes Lokal. Sehr urig und gemütlich. Das Essen war sehr gut und lecker. Es gibt gutes Bier. Der Service ist gut das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Parkplätze gibt es vor dem Lokal und in der Nähe. komme gerne wieder. Gruß Alexander aus Deutschland

Altijd langs gelopen en toch een keer na binnen gegaan en pizza afgehaald, mensen echt dit is de beste pizza van Slinge en omgeving vergeet newyorker en dominos die zijn hier niks bij

Heel lang wachten op eten. Veel te zout. Wij komen niet meer terug.

Vorige week voor aanvang van een concert hier gaan eten, gastvrij ontvangen en ik als geen pizza liefhebber heb hier de lekkerste pizza (Romagna Speciale) tot nu toe gegeten! Als ik weer eens in Rotterdam ben kom ik terug :-)

Was rustig maar toch bijna 50 minuten moeten wachten eer het eten er was. Vond het eten zelf niet heel bijzonder. Het wachten was echt verschrikkelijk en 2 keer is de bestelling verkeerd opgenomen, waardoor we nog langer moesten wachten. Het gegil van kinderen hielp ook niet mee aan de sfeer. Afhaal zou ik eerder aanraden.

Wij hadden goede verwachtingen naar aanleiding van de reviews. Daarom viel het het erg tegen dat het toch anders bleek te zijn. Onze blonde ober leek wel mensenschuw waardoor iets bestellen bijna niet te doen was. Als je dan toch een van de andere serveersters aan kon halen leverde ze het fout of het eten/drinken gewoon helemaal niet. Daarnaast ook nog is 50 minuten moeten wachten tot ik maar iets van eten kreeg terwijl de zaak redelijke leeg was. De pizza was wel lekker maar zeker niet het wachten waard. Ik had de Pizza Romagna en deze was qua portie meer dan voldoende en zeker de prijs waard. Ik zag dat ze wel aan afhalen deden, misschien is dat wel aan te raden. De atmosfeer was rumoerig en de stoelen zaten best rot, vooral als je zolang moet wachten. Veel boze of geïrriteerde klanten om mij heen die ook lang moesten wachten of waar het eten niet goed van was. Qua restaurant zeker niet aan te raden als je een rustig avondje zonder spanning wilt hebben. Qua afhalen zou je het zeker een kans kunnen geven voor de pizza's want die zijn voor Rotterdam zuid standaarden erg goed.

Goed eten maar de pasta's zijn voor 15 euro (en sommige nog wel duurder) echt zeer weinig naar mijn mening.
