I was deeply impressed by both the exquisite cuisine and impeccable service. The menu featured a variety of innovative dishes, with bold flavors and beautiful presentation. Pasta, Pizza and Desserts 🔝 🇮🇹 I cannot recommend MammaLicia enough for a fantastic dining experience.

Wow what a surprise. Had a wonderful meal with the family. Every dish so deliciously flavoured, everything fresh and also the pizzas exactly as they should be. Top service, very friendly ladies.

I was in Rotterdam for work and I felt like going to an Italian restaurant and I found a pizza that I don't know, but it's a really delicious pizza, I really recommend it, you have to pay attention to a parking spot, but it's really worth it, it's also nice to relax there for a while.

What a nice evening and especially hospitality. Called yesterday for a reservation, we have been coming there for years. Have been married for 43 years...oh that may not be so fun, only large groups. Okay then another time. Then called back today and had a cancellation. We enter, a cozy table with bubbles from the company because there is something to celebrate. We can't remember when we've ever experienced something like this in the Netherlands 🤔 what great stuff 👍👍

Really delicious food, highly recommended! We ate Bruscetta alla Roma, Carpaccio al tartufo and tagliatelle tartufo e funghi, all freshly prepared! The café pistacchio is also a must have. (see photo) They also sell all kinds of products so you can cook with them at home, such as oil and pasta (see photo) Friendly staff. Would definitely visit again! Nice man.

Great little quaint Italian restaurant, in the beautiful neighbourhood of Kralingen. Have come here several times now and the quality is always high. Without a doubt one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in Rotterdam. The carbonara is excellent and traditional tasting very similar to the ones I had in Rome this year. The Amatriciana was also very tasty and the gnocchi with pistachio and gorgonzola was excellent even though, the portion was a bit small. Slight dissapointment for the Orecchiette con cime di rapa e salsiccia as it was pricier than the other dishes and was alright, but nothing special. Overall, it was a very nice experience! I would recommend.

This was our first time having dinner here, and it was a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The food was excellent. We had a salami pizza, a buffalo mozzarella pizza, and from the specials menu, the fresh spaghetti with prawns and bisque, which was absolutely delicious. For dessert, we tried the Cannoli Siciliani, which was really good. The restaurant is small, so I would recommend booking a table in advance.

I really enjoyed every single bite of the homemade pasta, tasted the big difference than others from the first bite. Tiramisu was tasty and light. The warm service was also impressive. I’ll be back shortly for sure!

Another Italian gem discovered in Rotterdam! Super friendly service, everything incredibly fresh and handmade (we suspected even the whipped cream in the dessert was hand-whipped). The tastiest scroppino ever drunk. Only 1 chef in the kitchen: he worked very quietly but with concentration and the tastiest dishes always arrived on time, very clever! And also surprised with a glass of limoncello because of the birthday boy or girl in our party. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a nonna folding handmade pasta somewhere, everything seemed so authentic! Top tent!

What a super Italian restaurant this is! Great service, very tasty fresh pasta that they make themselves (feel free to take a look at the machine on the 1st floor) and I really liked the primitivo and the scroppino.

Este lugar está en mi selecta lista de “mejores pizzas en Rotterdam”, y esta lista tiene solo unos 3 - 4 nombres. Su pasta también es muy buena, pero su pizza es especial. El lugar es bastante pequeño, por lo que es posible que desee hacer una reserva si va con una fiesta de 3 o más. También aceptan perros, siempre y cuando el cachorro se comporte bien, pero de nuevo es posible que desee asegurarse de que su mesa tendrá suficiente espacio para ello a través de una reserva.

Waited 1 hour between courses, it’s just pasta and pizza…3 frozen shrimps + plain pasta sold for 22 euros. Owner offered a free drink, thanks, appreciate it. But again, don’t think this is sustainable, customers can feel it. Hope the restaurant will improve for the popularity and people’s liking.

Updating my previous review: Since the last year I’ve felt that the taste of the food is not the same anymore, before, the carbonara was really one of a kind, but now it’s more average, the portion (maybe) decreased and for sure way less “bacon”. Related to the staff: Everybody is very kind, I love them. Original review: Best Italian restaurant in town, it’s currently my favorite place.

Italy outside of Italy. Great restaurant with great people. Gnocchi with Gorgonzola and pistachio is my favorite dish when I visit Mamma Licia. If you also like Italian dessert I would say go for the tiramisu or cannoli. The cannoli is in my opinion from the highest standards. Enjoy!

One of the better Italian restaurants in Rotterdam. Here they serve real Carbonara with guanciale, pecorino and WITHOUT cream. All pastas made in-house. People who say the carbonara is too salty have never eaten the traditional Roman carbonara and do not understand Italian cuisine. Service good and wine prices are OK by Dutch standards. Worth repeating.

The 6 of us had dinner here last night (April 27, 2024). All dishes were delicious! Authentic cuisine with freshly prepared dishes. Starter, main course, dessert, everything was delicious. Cosy, friendly service. Recommended!

Good food with a nice small-scale atmosphere and great service.

The food was very good! The place was very busy and as a result, the service was rather poor. Hot pasta was served without having cutleries on the table. We waited 10 mins for the cutleries despite notifying the waitress. Thankfully, the chefs made us a new hot dish as a replacement. Also, we ordered bread as a starter, which never arrived despite notifying the waitress. Mistakes just kept rolling and we received the bill with bread on it, which was eventually removed upon request. We would expect a much better service - the least being offering some of the items on house. That did not happen.

Super nice and child-friendly restaurant. Friendly and good staff and the owner gives you personal, much appreciated attention. Our 14-year-old son and 8-year-old son had a great evening and we will definitely come back more often! The food is delicious and authentic and there is a real Sicilian pizza baker in the kitchen! Food good, atmosphere good, what more could you want during a night out for dinner.

Ate here for the first time on January 27, but certainly not the last time. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere in the shop with pleasant background music. The most important thing, however, is the food. And that was great! Delicious fresh and good dishes. We had 2 types of bruschetta as a starter and a pasta and 2 different pizzas as a main course. Everything was great. From now on we will come here when we go for Italian food.

Fantastisch lekker eten. De smaak is zo heerlijk. Nog nooit zulke lekkere calamares gegeten. Vreselijk aardig en attent personeel. Gewoon top

Klein, rumoerig restaurant waar de eigenaar halverwege de avond zijn zang kunsten laat horen. Een goed gesprek is hier onmogelijk. Het eten is redelijk. Wij hadden een antipasto plank, een pizza (dikke bodem) en pasta met pompoen saus (heel flauw). De bediening was onder de maat. Men had het te druk waardoor wij vaak genegeerd werden. Bij onze fles wijn vroegen wij om een glaasje water. Hier werd op gereageerd met; hier doen wij niet aan, u kunt een fles water kopen. Dat terwijl onze buren wel een karaf water kregen. Helaas gaan we hier dus niet nogmaals naartoe, mede doordat de prijzen vrij hoog liggen en je dus meer verwacht.

I was a bit hyped due to good reviews, however it didn’t meet my expectation unfortunately. Pesto pasta was alright, but pizza was oily and extremely salty. I have tried pizza thousands times in different countries and it was the most salty one I ever had. Servers were friendly and the atmosphere was nice tho.
