Located directly on the beach promenade, parking available, very tasty vegetarian dishes, especially the Beyond Burger. Very friendly and cheerful staff. Always busy, you should reserve a table in advance.

Doesn't quite live up to its good reputation 🤔

The food was okay. The service felt rushed, not friendly at all, but efficient. The view is great. As an alternative, I recommend the Comer Restaurant. It overlooks the dunes and not the sea directly, but the staff is incredibly welcoming, the food is delicious, and the decor is lovely.

Eazee used to be one of our favorite spots in Egmond, but unfortunately, that has completely changed. Last Thursday, we reserved a table for the following Friday evening at 6:30 pm. Upon entering, we were surprised to find the right side completely empty. After checking in, the waiter showed us a table—the last available one—in the completely overcrowded left section. When making the reservation, we had specifically requested a table near the edge, perhaps by the window. Instead, the waiter wordlessly waved us to the tiny table in the middle, crammed together with the other, already occupied tables. It had all the charm of a cafeteria with decorations. Cushioned together, chairs crammed on one side, and on the other side, an empty, cozy lounge area with seating and upholstered benches. When we asked the taciturn waiter for a different table, he simply shrugged, and that was that. On one side, people were packed in tightly, and on the other, there was an empty, cozy lounge area with seating corners and upholstered benches. The good thing was we went and found a nice table at Het Wappen with great food and the Dutch hospitality that no longer exists at Eazee. Sorry Eazee, never again!

The four of us had dinner there. Everything tasted great (one mixed grill, two pizzas, one hamburger). The staff were friendly and efficient. The price-performance ratio was excellent. We'd gladly come back.

I would like to leave a review about our visit to your restaurant. My husband and I have visited your restaurant twice. We came last week, and unfortunately the service was already disappointing. Today, at around 6:00 PM, the same situation happened again, and it was even worse. This review is about one particular waitress (approximately 20–25 years old, dark hair tied in a sleek bun, dark complexion, wearing a blue shirt). Her attitude toward guests was arrogant and completely inappropriate for a restaurant of your level. Whenever we tried to get her attention, she acted as if she couldn’t see or hear us. We had to call her several times and eventually raise our voices so loudly that other guests started turning around. It felt like we were being deliberately ignored. When we asked questions about the menu, she simply replied that she didn’t know. I asked her to recommend a dish for dinner—she didn’t know. I asked about the wines—she didn’t know. My husband wanted to order a whiskey, but again she couldn’t tell us what was available. We came to your restaurant to relax and enjoy our evening, not to spend our time looking for our waitress. At the end of our meal, we even had to walk around the restaurant to find her and ask for the bill ourselves. During our entire visit, she never once asked whether everything was alright, whether we enjoyed the food, or if we needed anything else. When I asked for her name because I wanted to leave a review, she refused to tell me. It is very disappointing that a restaurant of this standard allows such treatment of its guests. My husband and I left extremely dissatisfied. I kindly ask the management to pay attention to the quality of service and to address this issue with the staff. Guests come not only for good food but also for respectful, attentive, and professional service. Unfortunately, during both of our visits, we experienced none of that.

The ambiance is good, but the prices are too high, and there's a tendency for the portions to get smaller and smaller. The service is rather poor; if you don't say anything and your glass is empty, no one comes to clean it. And since I know that their revenue comes from drinks, that says a lot, so... We've been going here for years and usually enjoy eating here, but I think this was the last time.

The pizza was quite expensive, but very tasty. The annoying thing was that the extra toppings were listed on the menu for €1.75. However, we paid €2.50 for one pizza and €3.00 for the other. Unfortunately, we only checked the receipt on the way home. Oh well, our own fault. What a shame. The location is nice, though.

Our first evening in Egmond aan Zee took us to the EAZEE restaurant – a perfect start to our holiday. The seafood salad was excellent: fresh green salad, delicious tuna, tender smoked salmon, and large, flavorful crab. The pizza was also impressive – large, crispy, and generously topped. We finished with a crunchy dessert, which was equally delicious. The service was mostly attentive and exceptionally friendly. A few staff members, however, seemed a bit reserved. Overall, we had a very pleasant evening and would recommend the restaurant.

We visited the restaurant with two children at approximately 4:20 pm on a Tuesday. There were four tables outside and three tables inside occupied, including ours. After ten minutes, we were able to order drinks and get the menu. At 4:35 pm, we had our drinks and menus. After that, however, we were skillfully ignored. At 5 pm, we gave up and left. Given that the restaurant was nearly empty, we would have appreciated being served more quickly, especially to guests with small children. It seemed as if we had stumbled upon a break... an honest explanation that it would take longer would have been helpful, allowing guests with children to leave and guests with more time and peace of mind to consciously decide to stay.

The food was tasty, but unfortunately, the service from one employee was anything but pleasant. A somewhat older waitress came to our table. Without greeting us, she took out her notepad. The first thing we heard from her was a deep sigh. Afterward, she placed the napkins on the table quite irritably, which came across as rather unfriendly. When we mentioned that we wanted to order nachos, she walked away towards the kitchen in the middle of the order without saying a word. When she returned, I asked what was going on. She told us in an irritated tone that it was now dinner time and that nachos could therefore no longer be ordered. Her attitude made me feel so uncomfortable that I said: "Then let's drop it." At that moment, I no longer wanted to be served by an irritated employee. We felt completely unwelcome. As a result, the pleasant atmosphere of our dinner essentially vanished immediately. What also stood out was that she asked the tables around us if everything had tasted good, but completely skipped our table. Even the people sitting next to us looked at us in surprise. I mentioned this to another colleague when paying. Fortunately, they handled my feedback very politely. It is a shame that it had to turn out this way. I hope something is done about this employee's attitude, because as a guest, you expect to be served in a friendly and respectful manner.

We had delicious meals here for two days. Both times we were served by a true host; you want for nothing. You are served cheerfully and kindly by everyone. The friendly host works his legs off with a big smile. Compliments!

The burger was very good – the patty was cooked to order. The side of fries was very small. The portions of other dishes were also very small. Too expensive for what it offered. Great view, though.

We've stayed at the Hotel Golfzang many times and always eaten in the hotel restaurant in the evenings. The food is generally fine, but the service is abysmal. Only the breakfast staff is usually friendly in the mornings. The staff who take over in the afternoons and evenings are an unfriendly disaster. That is, if you even get served at all and don't wait forever for your drinks. Not a single friendly word. Terrible. And it's completely incomprehensible that you have to ask the staff at the breakfast buffet for cocoa powder for a hot chocolate every single time. It should be available at the counter, just like tea. It's incredibly petty. Mineral water shouldn't be available at a buffet like this either. This stale fountain water is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.

Unfortunately, I encountered very rude service. The beef in my burger was very tough for the second time, and the portion was very small for around €20. A real shame, as it's a nice place.

Nice restaurant, extensive menu, unusual offers

What a disappointment! After the sauna at the Golfzang Hotel last night, we entered the restaurant hungry at 9:00 PM to get something to eat. The two young waitresses noticed us, but finished their chat before serving us. We politely asked for the menu, whereupon the waitress rather rudely told us that food could only be ordered until 9:00 PM! It was 9:01 PM!!! Quite annoyed, we then went to the pizzeria in Egmond, which was the best decision. We strongly recommend not losing sight of customer service—at least when it comes to communication! I work in customer experience myself and know what I'm talking about. But such behavior is unacceptable!

We have been visiting Egmond regularly with our whole family since 1974 and have been guests at the EAZEE restaurant for years, spending several hundred euros on each visit – most recently around €550 on Friday evening. All the more disappointing, then, was a situation on Sunday morning: My 81-year-old father sat down briefly on a bench on the terrace to wait for his wife. After he explained that he didn't want to order anything, he was asked to leave. Furthermore, the woman explicitly emphasized that the restaurant did not belong to the hotel and that it was "her terrace." This clearly demonstrates that the Hotel Golfzang and the EAZEE restaurant are operated independently – which is generally fine, but in practice appears to be poorly coordinated. Such behavior towards long-time guests is very disconcerting and unfortunately leaves a negative impression. A real shame!

Had drinks on the outdoor terrace here several times this week, which was lovely. Also ate here once, which is definitely highly recommended as well. Great dishes, nice and attentive staff: highly recommended.

I ordered takeaway pizza four times because we had a holiday apartment just around the corner. The pizzas are a real treat. Okay, they look a bit pricey on the menu at first glance, but the toppings are amazing – really generous, delicious, and of exceptional quality. The dough is perfect, and the packaging with an extra tissue shows attention to detail. Absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely order again.

We were guests at the hotel. We ordered two pizzas from the restaurant by phone. Room delivery wasn't available, which was perfectly fine. Pick-up was offered in 15 minutes. After 35 minutes, meaning a 20-minute wait, the pizzas finally arrived. We were really looking forward to them. The delivery to the tables in the restaurant looked promising... beautiful, generously topped pizzas with wonderful, crispy, and toasted crusts... but what was inside the box was disappointing. Two pizzas for almost 40 euros that weren't even cooked through or crispy. Crusts? Non-existent. The Margherita was bland and tasteless. What a waste of money, especially considering the restaurant's own advertising. Every pizza place in Germany delivers the same or better quality for less than half the price. The restaurant itself makes a nice impression. The service is friendly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful experience at EAZEE during Ramadan. My daughter and I broke our fast here and even received delicious dates, which was incredibly thoughtful. The salmon main course was truly outstanding. Friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. Definitely recommended, thank you, and we'll definitely be back.

We went for dinner during the off-season, and the restaurant was quite busy. The service was friendly, pleasant, and competent. I wasn't very hungry, so they accepted my appetizer as a main course. In short: everything was great and I would recommend it.

A very rude employee arrived at 10:00 AM to tell us that breakfast was over and that we should have known. However, upon check-in, we were told that breakfast was until 10:30 AM. We were asked what time we wanted breakfast, and we chose 10:00 AM. So we really didn't know. A few minutes later, she openly started talking about us (they all know, but always arrive at the last minute). It felt very unpleasant, and we certainly didn't feel welcome. We weren't even asked if we wanted a drink. Mistakes happen where people work, but don't blame the customer if it's not communicated within your team.

The food was delicious. The mixed plate could have been a bit more generous. The service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. The atmosphere was very cozy. The tables could have been spaced a little further apart to allow for better staff access. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

I'm here very often for work and have eaten here several times. Unfortunately, the older lady ignored me. Other guests were able to order drinks immediately and received their menus. Only after asking did I get a drink. This continued as other guests arrived and were served. I moved to another table hoping to be served by someone else, but unfortunately not. Only when I wanted to pay and the gentleman came to collect the payment did he apologize, but by then it was too late. You could really tell that this older woman wasn't used to German cuisine. I got my food from the next table. What a shame. I'm just glad I didn't have anyone with me. This only applies to the service and this one person.

Unfortunately, as a family with small children, we were greeted with annoyed eyes as soon as we entered. The waitress made no secret of her negative attitude towards children, and we quickly left after a coffee! We would have loved to stay for dinner! Unfortunately, we won't be coming back anytime soon, as the atmosphere is so good!

I've been there many times at the end of the session, but yesterday was the worst. I sat there for 35 minutes without a drink?! I wasn't even asked?! The two men were just busy cleaning up and it definitely wasn't overwhelming since there were only about 8 guests for 2 men and I'm not even part of the service team. That's not acceptable. No tip from me either, as I still had to go to the cash register to pay. Not nice, I've always been very happy there because they have a very good selection of beers.

Not recommended! Food and drinks are overpriced, service is nonsensical. If you're not young and attractive, you'll be deliberately overlooked in the outdoor area, meaning you'll only be served after repeated requests. That's not what I consider good service, especially when they advertise "The guest is king here." That's a real joke.

If you're older or have a walking frame, you shouldn't necessarily visit this restaurant. The waiter ignored us; we only had a very nice young colleague to thank for our ability to order something. I don't understand how anyone could rate this restaurant as great and superb. The service was incredibly unfriendly, and the food was anything but good. I'm happy to pay €19.50 for a pizza margarita and €6.50 for a small water if the service is good and the food is tasty. But I can't recommend this restaurant. The people at the fish stall were nicer and friendlier. I seriously wonder what else the people who rate this restaurant as superb eat.

The young lady serving the food is very nice, and the ambiance is lovely. The portions are rather small, though, and the taste is okay, but nothing special. We can recommend it, but we wouldn't go back again during our vacation.

Our visit to eazee was absolutely amazing, in the best sense of the word. We received a friendly welcome and were seated. Our drinks and food were served promptly, and special requests were also accommodated. The service was so incredibly friendly. Many other restaurants could learn a thing or two from their experience. As for the food itself, I only have one thing to say: WOW... my wife had a pizza with salami and arugula. She's a bit of a foodie when it comes to Italian food because of her Italian roots... so it would be obvious if something wasn't to her liking... but she was more than thrilled. I had the burrito, and it was breathtaking. Anyone who vacations here has to try this restaurant. It's really good. If we come back, we'll definitely eat here.

Dinner on May 29, 2025. Although it was full, we got a table after a short time. The restaurant is attached to the Hotel Goldzang, so even as a guest, you should make a reservation on holidays and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As with all restaurants in Egmond aan Zee! I had a burger with a mini portion of fries, my wife had an enchilada. It was very tasty, but there weren't enough fries. With two drinks, €46. That's a normal price for this region.

Delicious beef carpaccio for lunch. Drinks and coffee were delicious. The service was a bit taciturn at times, but by no means unfriendly. The ambiance is right on the street, even though the beach is right after it. After a quick glance at the menu, the main courses seemed relatively expensive.

It was a lovely evening there. We really enjoyed ourselves. I had the dish of the day, based on a recommendation. I don't regret the decision. The price-performance ratio was pretty good. A great selection of food and drinks.

The spareribs were great, both dishes were very attractively prepared. In terms of taste, the Beyond Burger wasn't my thing, but it was also the only thing I found on the menu as a vegetarian. The service is in great need of improvement. The lady who served us first didn't seem to be in the mood and could hardly get a word out. She wasn't really attentive either. The gentleman who later cleared the table was a bit friendlier. But there's no comparison to other restaurants in Egmond aan Zee, where I've had much friendlier service! Oh, one more thing: the gentleman at the next table had a pizza, but there was no pizza on the menu we were given.

We had a very tasty meal at EAZEE today: the burger with fries was perfect, the salmon had crispy skin, very tender meat and an extremely tasty teriyaki sauce. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

Celebrated my birthday drinks in Eazee. Thijs came up with very nice and good ideas for a walking dinner, separate space in the conservatory (perfect) and sufficient service for the group. Food was delicious and more than enough. Had a perfect evening and definitely recommended for a party!

Eten in restaurant was prima. Helaas kwam er aan de tafel naast ons een gezin, met een grote hond met lange haren die enorm stonk. Toen wij om een andere tafel vroegen zei de serveerster dat het een hondvriendelijk restaurant was. Vreemd want 's ochtends tijdens het ontbijt van hotel Golfzang zijn honden niet toegestaan. Wij vinden dit erg onhygiënisch.

You can also go to EAZEE for a delicious pizza with a thin, crispy base. Pictured the Quattro Stagioni, delicious! Beer lovers can enjoy the Sancti Adalberti Tripel (from Egmond), Brouwerij 't IJ IPA and Grimbergen Dubbel, all 3 on tap. Staff also very friendly and pleasant!

Ik vermoed dat vanwege oudjaarsdag een deel was afgesloten. Maar daar waar ik kon zitten, was het prima zitten. Snel en vriendelijk geholpen. De kroketten op brood waren lekker. Leuke locatie zo aan de boulevard met zicht op de zee.

Een latte macchiato besteld. Leek op een glas warme melk qua kleur. Gevraagd om een beetje espresso erbij te doen, dan zou ie vast lekkerder smaken.. prima, dat kreeg ik met alle liefde. En bam, € 3,20 erbij op de rekening.. de klantvriendelijkheid is ver te zoeken! Een dure koffie voor € 7,45.

The location is beautiful and the staff is also quite friendly. The food, however, was a disaster! We ordered burgers and pizza and were very disappointed. The burger was overly greasy and the meat contained a piece of gristle. No greens, nothing crunchy and even the little bit of herb was soaked in mayo. The pizza was also completely dissolved in fat and there was just a thick cheese stain in the middle. I never thought you could go so wrong with such a simple dish. I'm very surprised at all the good reviews!

So my wife and I tried the pizza here. It's as big as the Losteria. So huge. The price is for a vacation spot. Okay. But the fish is fresh on the pizza. The chicken was tender. And the waitress tries so hard to speak German.

Wanted to have a nice meal. Drinks came quickly. After that we were no longer noticed. There was nothing going on. After 15 minutes I waved my wallet and then someone came. Service poor. We then went to eat delicious fish opposite.
