I'd like to thank everyone who helped fulfill my ailing father's final wish. He really wanted to eat a steak from Loetje, because "they're absolutely delicious!" After I explained this, you immediately agreed to make it happen. And so it happened. Our family enjoyed your delicious steak at home, together with my father. He passed away the next day. Thank you again so much for this; you're all the best! ❤️🩶

We ate at Loetje Bergen yesterday and were served by Cor (Corina?). Sorry if I misunderstood your name, but you probably know who I mean. You were such a pleasure to serve us. We had a wonderful time. Friendly and helpful service! Thank you, and see you next time!

Here you can enjoy a delicious steak, traditionally served with gravy and white bread. If steak isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Parking can be a bit difficult, especially during the high season, but the restaurant is easy to reach by bike or public transport. There’s also a large terrace where you can sit outside and relax.

Delicious and plentiful food, really good! Friendly staff, and it was a pleasant atmosphere.

First time there, very large and quite busy (or at least a snapshot). We arrived with a wheelchair (reservation required) and were given a tight spot. The waitress thought it was convenient because she didn't have to pass by. We found it odd because people have to get up if you want to leave the table. The steak dinner was a perfect experience, so the recommendation we received was spot on. Ice cream with fireworks for a birthday was very nice. A tip: don't open the bill right away; it was a gift, so it seems like the price isn't a good deal.

You know what you can expect when you go to loetje, good steak with gravy and bread. The service was excellent and table room was great.

Not my style of restaurant, too big and not a very inviting terrace. The waitstaff was very friendly, though.

Yes, the food was delicious. Nothing beats a steak from Loetje. The service was also excellent! There was a crack in my glass, and when I pointed it out (after already taking a few sips), they immediately took it away and gave me a new, full glass.

Sat outside, it was lovely. We were helped quickly and promptly by the staff. The food was, as usual, perfect. Loetje is still highly recommended.

My wife has a severe milk protein allergy and is pregnant. We asked if the steak could be prepared well done in oil (instead of butter). The waiter responded nonchalantly ("You do realize it's busy?!") and then apparently decided to leave out the gravy himself. The result: a small, dry, folded, and partially burnt piece of meat with no flavor, for which we paid almost €40. When we pointed this out, we were only told that they "don't want to be liable" for pregnant women. Allergies and pregnancy are serious matters, but they weren't taken seriously at all here. A very unpleasant experience for my wife.

First time at Loetje. A very friendly lady helped us. We ordered carpaccio, and it tasted way too much truffle mayonnaise. We only tasted truffle, but the flavor of the carpaccio was gone. We took two bites and called the waitress over, and we got new ones with the truffle mayonnaise on the side. Both main courses included steak, which was still quite raw inside. We had 4 slices of white bread for the gravy, along with a small tub of real butter, like from the wholesaler, not neatly placed in a container. In the end, there were 8 slices of white bread for dipping in the gravy. Gravy oil with some powder or a bag that was left as a sludge on the plate. The chef also knows that you can't thicken fat or oil with anything as it gets colder. The lady who brought the food also slammed the plates on the tables, like, "Here's your food." I understand that some people want a quick bite or a beer on the terrace. If you want a good meal with a good atmosphere, I'd rather go somewhere else.

After being sick for a while, I was finally able to meet up with my girlfriend for a catch-up. After a long drive from Drenthe, we had lunch at Loetje in Bergen. We'd been looking forward to it! But it turned out to be a disaster. We ordered French fries with Rendang fruit jack, and they were simply inedible. After a few bites, they were simply disgusting! We mentioned this to the manager, who found it strange, as it was a popular dish. After a lot of hassle, the two soft drinks were removed from the bill as compensation. Well, I didn't agree with this, but the manager apparently thought this was a good solution. The next day, my girlfriend and I got sick with food poisoning!!! That's why the food was so disgusting! With my fragile health and because I didn't eat everything, I also had problems with my diabetes, and I ended up with a severe hypo! Today is tough because of the diarrhea. I've filed a complaint, and I hope they realize they really messed up. You should serve people decent food, not spoiled food! Yuck! One star is still too much for Loetje Bergen!

We had Loetje's delicious classic steak tonight. We treated ourselves to a large one, and it was delicious! Beautiful location, we sat outside. Very friendly staff, so definitely recommended! Simply delicious!

I ate at Loetje Bergen once.... The steak was delicious! (SO IT'S TRUE) 😋 Good piece of meat and good cutlery 👌. Nothing to complain about. The boy who served us was very polite and courteous. Excellent! (He radiated that too) Only a few minor points.... * Because it was so busy, it felt like a chicken coop! (Lots of people, so the conversations echoed quite a bit) one big sound box! * It's not exactly a pleasant meal with the tables all so close together. The steak is excellent, but for a pleasant meal there, I honestly say "no, never mind." (This is due to the noise and the tables being too close together.) *Here too, the waitstaff places the glasses on the table and holds them with their entire fingers on the guest's drinking area... That's a REALLY NO GO in the hospitality industry, and definitely unhygienic because you don't know what their hands have touched! (Maybe through their hair or their face or...) Really not acceptable! (It's also not right.) Glasses or bottles are held at the bottom, never at the drinking area!!! Otherwise, it's fine, and booking online is easy. Park in the parking garage, really close by.

Cozy establishment, friendly service and delicious food!

It was a warm day, and the patio was packed. The six of us sat inside, which was more comfortable than outside. Despite the crowds, the food was served quickly. The chef even came to the table to sing a song because everyone knew it was someone's birthday.

Very friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, and delicious apple pie. The Aperol and Limoncello were also impressive.

Eating at Loetje Bergen is always good. Today the service was a bit chaotic, but normally it's really excellent and personal. The latter was lacking today. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious Loetje 150g.

Visited this branch for the first time and was positively impressed. Loetje isn't cheap, but it's high quality. Reservations are required during peak times. The restaurant is always busy.

Delicious steaks, wonderful desserts, friendly and fast service. If there's one thing you have to deduct: it's busy. But that doesn't affect the service or quality.

For the regular tasty snack that is a bit too expensive in terms of value for money.

Loetje Bergen is a lovely, large restaurant with a large terrace. The service was good, and the staff was friendly and competent. Parking is available right next to the restaurant in the parking garage. I wasn't too impressed with the food; the plates weren't plated properly, there were no vegetables with the meat dish, and fries had to be ordered separately. For the price, I didn't think it was particularly special. The hamburger was dry and compact, not very tender or juicy. Loetje has a good reputation, but in Bergen, they don't live up to it.

The food was delicious. The staff immediately informed us that it might take a little longer due to the crowd, but we didn't notice much. My steak was overcooked, and I got a new one without any hassle. Now that's what I call service! Definitely worth repeating.

3 sterren gegeven. Voorgerecht: De kippensoep was zo zout dat ik heet water heb gevraagd om het te verdunnen om het minder zout te maken. De bediening zei dat het probleem bekend was. Dat had ik liever voor die tijd geweten bij bestellen. De pokedbowl was lekker maar niks bijzonders. Weinig vlees erop. Die heb ik aan de kust veel beter aangekleed gegeten, dus afrader. Bediening is vriendelijk. Prijs/kwaliteit matig. Voorlopig geen Loetje meer voor mij.

Finally went to Loetje; ignored all those years. But: not my thing. Meat was perfectly tender, burger okay, spritz good, fries mediocre, real mayo fortunately. But then that enormous puddle of gravy… people everywhere enthusiastically soaking piles of white bread in that brown puddle as if it were a delicacy. I found it particularly unappetizing. Apparently I am the exception, because everyone seemed to love it. I look the other way for a moment.

Very nice restaurant with plenty of seating both inside and outside. Outside, there's both a covered and open-air area. Prices are in line with those of the touristy areas of the Netherlands. Restrooms directly across from the entrance are very clean and nicely decorated. The service staff seemed a bit disorganized; we were served by three different people. But everything was within the timeframe.

Lunch deal from ah Upon arrival we had to wait a while for the drinks to be taken but it was busy so understandable The steak with fries and bread and salad eaten Was reasonable but the steak too rare (we weren't asked how we wanted it cooked) After a glass of wine we wanted to have a drink but there was no one we could ask everyone just walked around (there were a lot of waiters) Well then we didn't so we paid Then we went to the toilet in turn and the employees asked twice, hello can I pour you something to drink?! Uhm we just finished and have already paid?! There is no logic in this at all everyone just does whatever and walks around! Too bad

Personeel was niets op aan te merken. mijn partner ging voor de burger van Loetje en een kleine friet ik koos voor de aanrader van Loetje een chiabatta broordje met pastrami het geen er op de speciaal toegevoegde aanbeveling er zeer verleidelijk uit zag. Toen onze bestelling kwam bleek dat men de als decoratie toegevoegde rucola de worp naar de vuilnisbak had gemist en perongeluk op mijn broodje terecht was gekomen. De sla was verschrompelt en verlept, het ciabatta broodje was slap en droop van het vet, de pastrami was nauwelijks voldoende om het broodje te bedekken, en niet zoals op de aanbeveling stond een rijkelijk bekleden laag vleeswaren. De frietjes zagen er uit of ze het vet niet gezien hadden en waren slap en ziekelijk bleek. Dit alles voor 45,00 euro op de rekening en de teleurstelling was groot.

First time having lunch here. Bought vouchers via AH. No regrets!! Nice service and the steak is really delicious. Next time I will ask for my gravy in a bowl because otherwise everything on the plate will be swimming in gravy. Delicious gravy by the way... and plenty of it :-) The pink pornstar martini was also delicious The desserts too It was a TOP lunch. And parking was possible in the garage under the supermarket

Today we ate at Loetje, but unfortunately it was a very unpleasant experience. It was extremely busy and the staff worked in a hurry, which directly affected the service. To make matters worse, there appeared to be a malfunction at ABN AMRO, which meant that it was not possible to pay by card. Despite the fact that this malfunction was beyond Loetje's control, we were treated as guests as if we were in the wrong. The employee who helped us reacted unfriendly and fiercely, and made us feel like criminals. We tried everything to solve it, but in the end my son had to drive 16 minutes to the nearest ATM that worked contactless! The service left a lot to be desired and customer friendliness was hard to find. In addition, we found the famous steak to be seriously overrated. All in all, we got the feeling that we had to eat and leave as quickly as possible. Too bad! We expected a much more pleasant experience.

Great Loetje restaurant. Steak and side dishes as always very tasty! Been there before but my daughter really doesn't like fries. She can always have a toasted sandwich, but the waiter didn't even want to ask the kitchen, because they were too busy. I find this very customer unfriendly. They also don't really have another selection of pancakes or something. So very unfortunate! She now ate some white bread with us that is served with the steak. Because it was already quite late, to go eat elsewhere.

Today after a long day of walking we had dinner at Loetje in Bergen. Finally. They were very quick to take the order for drinks so we didn't know yet. Then they didn't come back and we ordered online. After looking at the employees for a long time we were also allowed to order dinner. However, we had to wait more than 45 minutes before we got it. The fries were cold and my 0.0 steak was not really warm anymore and also without bread. Furthermore I liked the food but I expected that they could have warmed the food up in those 45 minutes. The 0.0 steak is really recommended for all vegetarians! The structure is very good and tasty.

Had a delicious salad of tenderloin. Large salad with tender meat. Friendly staff and despite it being busy we had a quiet meal and drank a glass of wine and a beer.

Bestelling niet goed doorgekomen ook geen snelle opvolging of excuus pech betalen en opzouten. Wat je je klant moet aanbieden is gelijk gratis koffie en directe levering van het gevraagde. Maar dat je het eerst vergeet kan gebeuren maar dat je klaar bent met eten en dan nog niet hetgeen gevraagde krijgt is voor zo een restaurant ronduit slecht. Je mag best de hoofdprijs vragen maar dan moet de bediening ook goed zijn. De opmerking we hebben het wel van je rekening afgehaald was nog schokkender. Logisch als je iets niet krijgt moet je er zeker wel voor betalen. Wat een laag service niveau. Zou zeggen directie spreek een vast protocool af als zaken mis gaan. Besteling niet doorgekomen hoogste prioriteit uitleveren boven alles (salade in dit geval) en klant gelijk gratis koffie aanbieden plus excuses.

Loetje Bergen is a household name and everyone knows Loetje there in Bergen. We were invited to have lunch there. And as the saying goes, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth Upon arrival, the outside terrace was empty and inside it was approximately 40% occupied. Have you made a reservation? No, we did not. Will see if there is room. Oh, that's true, many tables were reserved and that remained the case, even when we left the building. We were placed in the far right corner of the case. As far as I'm concerned, it's an atmospheric, dark place. Anyway, I'm invited...First a coffee and then lunch. 2 twelve hours and 2 x bread with meatball and a beer or wine.. We liked it...and then came to the table 3 times...everything to our liking. And the reserved tables are still not occupied. Final bill was around 90 euros. Still serious money I would say. I find it strange to be placed in a corner and find that there was ultimately enough room. Is it the name Loetje that you can say we had lunch there? I think there are more atmospheric restaurants in Bergen.

Loetje Bergen is onze absolute favoriete Loetje! ALTIJD gezellig, prettig, leuk divers publiek, en.... het besssssste personeel ! vandaag vierde ik mijn verjaardag bij Loetje, de wijn is fantastisch, de gerechten zijn ALTIJD supergoed en heerlijk, de toetjes zijn gewoon watertandend lekker, maar wat zo superrrr is bij deze Loetje is het personeel. leuke steengoede werknemers, met name Seppe, (zo heet hij zei hij vanmiddag) PETJE af voor Loetje Bergen! zij staan voor mij op nummer 1
