Zilte Zoen Schoorl in Wijk 07 Schoorl

We hebben heerlijk gezeten en gegeten bij Zilte Zoen. Super vriendelijk en attent personeel, een leuke en verrassende kaart en goed eten! Ook de locatie is natuurlijk geweldig, aan de voet van de klimduin! En helemaal top; meteen een glas water bij je wijn en koffie!

Wij zijn 70+ers en hebben in ons leven heel wat eetgelegenheden bezocht maar nog nooit hebben wij voor een half schijfje citroen 2mm dik in t drankje, apart moeten betalen! Ronduit schandalig…wat een treurige service ! Schaaltje patat meer dan de helft was kruimelige verbrande rommel Voor deze prijzen verwacht je wel iets anders, komen geregeld in Schoorl tijdens fietstochten maar Zilte Zoen slaan we voortaan over!

Een leuke plek in een mooie omgeving om even een drankje en een hapje te doen, personeel is correct, maar doet niks extra's. De paas aanbieding van de 4 soorten vis op een ieniemienie toastje voor net onder de 14 euro was enorm overprijst, dit ook voor een kleine ciabatta met Surinaamse salade welke weinig smaakte voor net onder de 13 euro. De presentatie is mooi, smaak en hoeveelheid blijft achter, je zou zeggen dat als je bij een klimduin zit, in een gebied waar veel gewandeld en gefietst word, je hierop inhaakt en je een fatsoenlijke portie levert. Het lijkt nu meer op een frans restaurant wannabee in een speeltuin.

Met Valentijnsdag heerlijk gegeten: sukadesteak en buiten de kaart om een lekker visstoofpotje. Heel gezellige en ongedwongen sfeer met Teun de zingende gastheer die rondliep met zijn gitaar: geweldig! We hebben genoten!

Ik had al veel gelezen en gezien over de promotie van eigen bitterballen van Zilte Zoen Schoorl, met verfijnd vlees van de Groene Weg, eigen textuur van chef Marco Ros en de verdere verwerking... Vanmiddag dan maar eens als "avondeten" uitgeprobeerd... En net als hun eigen koffielikeurtje een verfijnde zachtere eigen smaak heeft, is dat ook voor de bitterballen zo...heerlijk.. Wil geen reclame maken, maar "stiekem" een aanrader en mooi geserveerd....

I have eaten at Ziltezoen for Christmas for a long time now. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that evening. I found Christmas dinner really disappointing. We had the fish croquettes beforehand, which were extremely salty and one of the staff members already indicated that it was quite a lot as a starter. That notice was given when the toast was served. Too bad it was not reported in advance. The main course itself was okay, just very sparsely prepared. It was disappointing and I didn't think the atmosphere was great either. It's a shame, because I have always enjoyed sitting and eating there before.

The food was good, it was very difficult to pay. We were with a group and could not pay separately. We were also treated rudely by the owner. I'll never come here again.

Super atmospheric, nice menu, pleasant employees

Great place for food and drinks after a nice long walk. Nice kids menu and good food. Also staff is friendly and serves quickly. Only thing that could be better is the playing corner for kids. It’s outdated and not very attractive for kids to play in unfortunately.

Food is quite okay.. atmosphere is good and service is bad. You are not looked after at all. The lady was also very hasty while ordering (I think obvious ADHD) and you couldn't even finish talking before you were interrupted. Listening and patience were hard to find with her. The other waitress, on the other hand, was very friendly, but unfortunately she did not serve us.

Delicious and plenty of food, beautifully presented too. Friendly staff who were quick but also took the time for a chat. This also had to do with the fact that the restaurant was about to close.

Aan de voet van het klimduin is het heerlijk toeven in dit etablissement. Zowel binnen als buiten mogelijkheden voor ontbijt, lunch, diner of gewoon een drankje. Vriendelijk personeel, snelle bediening en een schappelijke prijs. Aanrader.

Nice tent, good food and kids can play on the climbing dune

As expected the location at the foot of the dune is always nice. No matter which of the lunchrooms or cafes you can choose. The waiters ask you to order by phone, using the QR code located on the table. Even though the food tastes good...asking prices like..€5.75 for a portion of fries, and €12.75 for a slice of brown bread with tuna salad really need to stop.

A bit messy, but fast service...we thought it was quite pricey there. Parking is not easy and also quite expensive. A very nice atmosphere.......

The young lazy waiters were polite, but I was really offended by the two older lady and gentleman. I sat with my feet raised because I am 160cm and the chairs are very large. And that was not allowed by the owner. That was said after we had already ordered. I experienced that as unpleasant. Labeled. No free tent. Shame. The older waiter reacted pedantic when I asked for the VAT receipt. That was not a pleasant experience. Unfortunately.

Heerlijk gegeten, zeer vriendelijke bediening. Kwaliteit van de geserveerde gerechten was ook zeer goed, kortom, het is nog steeds 1 van de betere restaurants van Schoorl

Nice waiter who even spoke some German, nice atmosphere. Big drawback: behind the bar there was noticeable laughter because we spoke to the waitress in German. Not a nice way to go. We decided not to eat anything here.

I don't want to complain about small things but when I ordered a steak I said it should be completely cooked through (it was documented that way) when the food came it looked very good from the outside but when I ate ⅓ of it , I noticed that it was still very raw inside, I also found that it was difficult to chew. In general, the meat didn't taste that good. I pointed this out later when paying, and was then told that the meat was not intended to be cooked through (that's fine) but I would have really liked to have said so when ordering) In my opinion, I have nothing to complain about with the service (I I've seen a lot of reviews about a man who is probably very unfriendly, but I haven't seen him)

We stopped there for breakfast on our way back. I didn't think I would get the best breakfast I've had so far. You can't expect such dishes from us for this price. You also have a wonderful view of the huge dune.

We had a delicious lunch here. And they prefer to order via a QR code. But there is no public WiFi. We thought that was a shame. But the food was delicious.

Gezellige sfeer. Snelle bediening. Gemoedelijk. Gunstige ligging. Verder eetbak niet wat ik hier in moet vullen om 100 tekens te krijgen.

Da ich das Zilte Zoen noch aus Egmond aan Zee gekannt hatte (mittlerweile geschlossen) sind wir zum Abendessen nach Schoorl gefahren. Trotz dass es sehr gut besucht war, haben wir ohne Probleme einen freien Tisch bekommen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr zuvorkommend und fix. Das Essen ist einfach klasse ! Der Holy Vegan Burger sowie der Saté Spieß waren einfach lecker. Wir können das Zilte Zoen wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Autistic and blind girl of 13 was selling bracelets on the terrace, mother was having a drink and kept an eye on her, no one was bothered by this and she sold some bracelets here and there, including to us. At one point an older waitress came and told the girl to stop and get it over with, the girl burst into tears but the waitress didn't care. It's downright ridiculous to have to talk like that to a girl who has autism and is blind! It's fine that you don't want this on a busy terrace, but that can also be said to a child in a normal and calm way! For us the last time we have been here.

Delicious food, good and fun service

Relaxing and relaxing - Kids in the sand and we have a beer/drink - very nice staff - very customer friendly - we had a party there with simple, tasty food - dessert - just because it's possible - a delicious liqueur as a thank you at the end from the owner and received a bottle of this stuff - absolutely great.

We happened to pass by here today after our beach trip and stayed for dinner. The ambience and service were great. We were absolutely thrilled with the quality of the dishes and also the size of the portions (I'm a good eater :-)). We are definitely coming back!!!

Unfortunately there are now too few staff. A long wait for one immediately helped for the other. Missing good management!

Ordered chicken satay with noodles. Chicken is hard to find 2 skewers with almost no chicken on them. Furthermore, plain noodles with no vegetables, just some sour. For that money I would have been better off getting it at the store.

The food was very tasty, but the service was very poor. We were almost unnoticed. After waiting half an hour, I asked for a card myself. “That happens often,” said the waitress.

De Zilte Zoen has a beautiful location on the Klimduin, making it a popular place. A large terrace in full sun with friendly service makes a nice start to your walk. Tasty menu, good cuisine and nice decoration on the inside. In winter there is also hot chocolate and mulled wine on your doorstep.

Relax at the foot of the climbing dune. Friendly employees and friendly atmosphere. Ate Toby's rendang, great presentation and very good taste. Recommended.

Not a nice tent. After I was pointed out that everything was done via QR codes, I asked if I could quickly connect my phone to the charger. The answer from a grumpy lady was "we don't have chargers for others". Then we went to 't Trefpunt and it was nice there.

We had a great meal with you; smooth operation; everything neat and clean inside and outside; excellent menu, excellent prices, the chef focuses on quality in all areas. TIP: go there and eat something too! You will have a great time at De Zilte Zoen Greetings from a new fan!!👍🏻🏆✅🤪

Not enough staff for such a busy terrace. When you sit down you will receive the menu very quickly, then you wait for staff who explain that you have to order via QR code. Because this did not work, we had to contact staff 4 times, 3 of whom did not want to take an order. They have never heard of friendliness when it comes to complaints about the food if you do not agree with their solution and they are happy to engage in discussion. I would like to recommend a customer service/customer care course to them. Do you want service and good food? It's better to go to Joop, you're wrong.

Whit Monday we had lunch with 7 people. Nice terrace, quite busy, but you know that if you want to sit at the bottom of the Klimduin. Excellent option to order via QR when it is busy, employees do their best, but you notice that there is a bit of a crunch in terms of staffing. Dishes and drinks arrived quickly and all tasted great. However, €5 for a bowl of salad at the Fish & Chips is too much and was not in proportion to what is served. Small tip for the older waiter with a bald head: we understand that many Germans visit Schoorl, but talking to your guests in German while the entire table is clearly speaking Dutch is something to consider. Furthermore, it was a nice place to sit here, nice terrace, nice place.

Here you can order drinks and food via your cell phone. These are brought to the table by the waitress. Payment (cash and cashless possible) is also made at the table. But unfortunately only the table can be billed in full and not by party. The waitresses are very nice and helpful.

The menu is ripped out of your hands by a very unfriendly jerk of a guy with a bald head. "Today orders will only be taken with QR code." So I will not participate in that on principle and we left the terrace again. We had a delicious meal at Joop!

wat een slechte zaak. Vroeger klantvriendelijk. Nu alleen met QR code. Serveerster legt uit dat dat komt door dure locatie, personeelsgebrek en ze moet 15 km per dag lopen. Kan geen hamburger zonder kaas bestelen en fish and chips zijn geen kabeljauw maat stukjes kweekvis. Ga gewoon naar de Bokkesprong. Daar weten ze wat klanten willen.

We had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Both had soup beforehand and then a satay and I had Toby's rendang. Satay was found to be tasty and my rendang was also tasty and, above all, very extensive. Excellent value for money.

Great food, but you shouldn't have an allergy. One of us has celiac disease and asked for a gluten-free dish. When she couldn't eat her sandwich because it had gluten in it, instead of an apology we got an irritated lecture. Asking for "gluten-free" wouldn't be enough information if you really want something gluten-free. Too bizarre for words. Addition: I now also read in other reviews about the rude older man. Please get rid of that guy. Compliments to the other staff.

Great that there are so many different vegetarian and vegan dishes. The meat comes from animals that have had a good life. Tasty dishes and original menu. Friendly and service-oriented staff who also remained true to themselves.

We were here for the first time two years ago and this year for the second time. The quality of the food and that of the service staff has not only remained the same high, but has even increased. We are vegetarians/vegans and usually find it difficult to find something, but there are several very tasty options here. In the pictures you can see the mezze variation and the vegan burgers. We can recommend it 100% and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Het is me niet eerder overkomen: een groot glas water geserveerd krijgen bij een glas witte wijn! Wat prettig. De bediening is ook heel plezierig.je zou ze haast een zilte zoen geven. De hapjes zijn heerlijk!

There didn't appear to be much choice during our first stay in Schoorl, but Zilte Zoen already looked attractive from the outside and it is! Experienced good service in this restaurant with an interesting menu. Very tasty food, everything was simply delicious! Highly recommended in our opinion.

Excellent food, nice to sit on the terrace after a walk. I personally think it is a shame that a note on the table is sent when you submit your order online. Furthermore, several parts of the order were missing. Overall reasonable experience. Not special. But certainly not bad.

Had a nice meal there with my daughter. Delicious stew with a matching glass of wine. My friend also came by with her son. He had won a prize, which was consumed right away. It was on our account at checkout. My daughter said something about that and the response was strange. Not even 'sorry, our apologies'. The young people who work there were also on their phones en masse, which I found a strange sight upon entering, a bit disinterested. These are points that still need to be worked on. For the rest: the food was delicious.

Geweldige kaart zeker qua snacks out of the box super echt een aanrader. Uitgebreide bier en wijnkaart als je in Schoorl bent en gezellig wilt zitten en heerlijk wil eten en drinken is this the place to be👍👍❤️

Wir besuchten das Restaurant zweimal mit jeweils 5 Personen. Jedesmal sehr freundliche und kompetente Bedingungen. Top Qualität der Gerichte und eine breite Auswahl für jeden Geschmack.

Fijn restaurant onderaan het klimduin. We hebben er tijdens onze vakantie meerdere keren gegeten en het viel nooit tegen. Zowel qua prijs als qua eten. Hoogtepunten: de saté en de zalm en carpaccio sandwiches. Smakelijke en veilige keuze met voor elk wat wils.
