Little selection, high prices, poor goods

Nice bakery, also cozy, lots of choice and delicious bread. We also had coffee and cake inside. Also terrace outside, in the middle of the Koog

Self-service, simple, not attractive, clear the table yourself...

I love the onion cake. You have to be there by noon or it's sold out

The rolls weren't to our taste. Otherwise the bakery was clean and well stocked.

The baked goods are very good, but the staff could be a little friendlier. Unfortunately they seem very annoyed and this also happens on different days.

I've rarely had such bad rolls from a bakery, taste like cheap baked goods, maybe that's it, plus they're expensive (6 rolls, 2 of which were white for 6 euros), in any case I won't buy anything there again.

Staff was unfriendly and not committed. My little son was ignored by the staff with a roll of his eyes and we were already charged straight away even though we were still looking. Didn't feel welcome. I can understand that not everyone is good with children, but I haven't experienced that yet. Especially not in an industry that depends on good service. In terms of taste, the products did not stand out from the supermarket products. Won't be coming back.

Today I had a pastry at Bakery/tearoom Timmer in Cocksdorp. The service young lady and gentleman were not really customer friendly, just grumpy and didn't really feel like working today. At first we just walked away when we wanted to order. The pastry made up for it, because it was delicious. Next time I'll have coffee and cake a little further away.

The products I bought are fine, but paying was a nightmare. There was only 1 cash register, including service, for paying for the products and serving and paying for the restaurant part.....

The rolls were okay, unfortunately the rolls lack a nice (tenderly flaky) crust. The staff was friendly.

A delicious cappuccino and the pastries are super tasty.

Delicious extensive range of sandwiches and many types of pastries. The food was great and of good quality. We had to wait a long time even though it was not busy.

We were simply given away our food at just before five because it was the end of the day. This is incomprehensible, especially for small children. Then you shouldn't sell anything at all.

The E-number baker!! I'll go to the supermarket for factory bread!! You wouldn't expect E numbers and a whole list of other unnecessary ingredients from a real baker, including palm oil. Nice and sustainable.....

My favorite bakery on Texel. I even have to bring pastries with me to DE when I'm alone on Texel.

Coffee was terrible, salmon bread and croissants were okay.

Excellent cakes at Timmer in the Cocksdorp. Not top quality, average village baker's level. Coffee, however, is a completely different story, downright nasty, nothing else can be done about it. But the worst is the woman behind the counter. The grumpy drips from her face, this woman hates her job. She let us pay an extra 50 cents for 2 cardboard coffee cups, after buying 35 euros worth of cookies. Then you didn't fully understand it.

Den burg is erg gezellig heel vriendelijk personeel top

Heerlijke chocolademelk met slagroom gedronken en een hongerpunt gegeten.

Hier hebben ze prima brood te koop en ook de gebakjes en taarten zijn overheerlijk. Het personeel mag by the way wel iets vriendelijker zijn.

In De Cocksdorp een leuke winkel met gezellig terras. Vriendelijke bediening en heel veel lekkernijen, maar ook een koffie to go is hier te krijgen. Voor zover ik het kan beoordelen zijn de produkten van zeer goede kwaliteit. Van een Echte Bakker dus.

De bestelde chocoladetaart is geweldig: fris, goed formaat en niet ‘zwaar’. En een feestje voor het oog.

mooie en gezellige dorpje waar je een lekker bak koffie en gebak kan eten bij bakker Timmer.

Köstlicher Kaffee mit Sahne, leckere Brötchen, besondere Kuchen und Teilchen. Ich bin immer wieder sehr gerne hier.

Heerlijk om hier een broodje te halen of een bakje koffie te doen met een gebakje. Het mokka gebakje is een echte aanrader!

Dat heel veel op Texel duurder is, is voor veel 'overkanters' die dit mooie eiland regelmatig bezoeken wel duidelijk. Maar als er €3,75 voor een half spelt brood wordt aangeslagen, dan is dat ten opzichte van €4,25 voor een héél speltbrood thuis (ook van een échte bakker), wel erg veel. Mijn partner zei nog: "Het is een halfje", (waarmee ze dacht dat de dame achter de toonbank zich waarschijnlijk had vergist). "Ja", zei die mevrouw, "het is spelt". (Alsof we iets bijzonders zouden aanschaffen...). Helaas, díe koop ging niet door. Overigens hebben op andere momenten wel plaatsgenomen bij Echte Bakker Timmer voor een lunch of een lekkere bak koffie (o.a. in Den Burg en de Koog); dan dan weer wel. En ach ... wij vormen slechts een héél klein deeltje van de (ongeveer) 1 miljoen toeristen die Texel jaarlijks bezoeken.
